I'm already sick of the bad faith takes by YouTubers that Betty and Simon were in a toxic relationship.
Just because a relationship requires communication, establishing boundaries and real work does not inherently mean it to be toxic.
That's just what a real relationship is.
Just cause the love is there, the romance is there, it doesn't mean it won't require work.
Simon and Betty's romance is so accurate to how a long standing relationship falls into and it's so fairly common, I could actually see my parents in it who were married for 40 years.
Also the weird takes of people hating the ending and saying it was "rushed"
No, it wasn't.
I only felt this way about the original adventure time ending and the Gumball war.
Not this.
I feel like maybe the ending of Fionna and Cake was so deeply personal to me that I can't come at it from an objective point of view. I really think it's one of those cases unless you saw it or experienced if you know exactly what was going on.
I don't think Simon moved on too quickly from Betty and I hate people who say that.
Simon has been mourning her on and off for over 100 years and he finally let go and acknowledged his mistakes and who she became.
Betty was mourning Simon from the moment she jumped into Ooo and did a speedrun of greif.
Neither of them regret their choices anymore. This is how it turned out, and they just have to live with that. And they no longer have obsession or I'll will toward eachother.
They have both completed the grieving process. They won't forget eachother. Are richer for the experience, and Betty still watches Simon and keeps him safe.
But she has other places to do and be now. Symbolic by her still willingly taking that Bus as Glob. The unlimited potential to explore where and what she wants, forever and eternity.
They both say goodbye. Take a deep breath and live.
Rediscover and for the first time... Find out who they are without eachother.

ON THE SUBJECT OF THAT LAST ASK THO. if i may be so forreal i don't rly like when sheriff n jeb r depicted as friends. i mean i guess it makes more sense if you've only ever been introduced to the animated series/only consider the animated series canon (which i also don't agree with for reasons that should be fairly obvious) (rapid gesturing to the guy im insane about that so far has only appeared in m:pn)
BUT LIKE. going off the fact that jeb manipulated hofnarr n the language he used w sheriff when they interacted, i feel like sheriff has every right to be mad at him for a) COMPLETELY wrecking an entire city n the lives of everyone inside it and b) BEING THE CAUSATION OF A NOW WORLDWIDE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE (BC LIKE! IN THE ANIMATIONS ZEDS ARE CLEARLY OUTSIDE OF NEXUS CITY BY A CERTAIN POINT!!) c) LEAVING HIM IN CHARGE OF THAT DUMPSTERFIRE AND FUCKING OFF NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN (except he WAS seen again when he reappeared at the agency! GROAN)
like. idk. he literally only contacted this guy so he could clean up his catastrophic mess. sheriff presumably already had a job at the agency and now he's gotta be the one to fackin duelwield that position and MERC! feels dickish to me. i can't imagine sheriff being very happy with him for that.

I turn Cookie Run Ocs into WoF dragons too !!
Poppy the MudWing/LeafWing + her og cookie design
Poppy Seed was the first cookie character I turned into a dragon, which inspired the whole CoF au in the first place.
She’s also shipped with Chili Pepper, who is a SkyWing named Chili Red !! (since i didn’t just wanna name her Chili bc SkyWings are named after shades of red/orange/yellow and i feel like Chili would just make people think of actual chili peppers and yada yada)
I love them very much.

Mortal Kombat Worldbuilding Ideas - Part 1: Immortals
These ideas float somewhere between headcanon and rewrite. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the worldbuilding as is (for the most part), but a few things stick out to me as things that could be more interesting. Specifically, immortals this time.
For one, establishing that immortals can't have biological children would make them a little more interesting and give some more depth to immortal characters, imo. As immortality is a status earned in one way or another, this is the price you pay for taking it.
"Then how, pray tell, do demigods exist, Gopher?" You might ask. Well, they aren't born, in this rewrite. That's right, baby, demigods can fulfill the Macbeth prophecy! They are not of woman born!
Demigods are created, not unlike a fleshpits experiment or some of Wonder Woman's origins (y'know, the one where she was a clay baby). Regardless of what the godling in progress is made of, their godly parent will then "breath life" into them by infusing them with a fragment of their own soul.
Breathing life into one of these creations slightly weakens the god in question, but it forms a bond with their offspring that can persist even after death. The bond entails different things for different gods, but typically the offspring is compelled toward loyalty to their parent and/or the goal they were created for. Which makes it very difficult to break free from their parent's control.
Specific Characters This Applies To
The obvious ones to first discuss are Taven and Daegon, Argus' sons with Delia and the brothers fated to stop Armageddon.
Delia created her sons from gold and dragon scales. This gave them innate pyromancy that they might not otherwise have. While Taven was always stronger and faster, Daegon is smarter and stronger willed. This, combined with his feelings of inferiority, compelled him to want his bond to Argus severed, even before he was awoken early.
Rain's mother dug clay from the riverbed to form her son. His aquamancy and impulsive tendencies were influenced by his beginnings at the bottom of fast flowing water. Being the youngest of the three, he is weaker still than either of his brothers. But, paired with his physical distance from Argus, it has also made his bond weaker. While Taven is happily beholden to Argus, and Daegon wishes to break free, Rain is untethered. He has the most freedom of the three.
Having three sons made Argus much weaker than he normally would be. Hence why one of said sons was capable of permakilling him, rather than simply forcing him to reform at a later date.
This last one might surprise you, but Mileena works by these rules as well. Shao Kahn isn't a god in the same way that Argus is, but he also had a powerful sorcerer on his side. (Mileena has two papas)
So Mileena isn't a demigod, but she does contain a fragment of Shao Kahn's soul. The other method of giving her life would be to simply use another full soul, but that would be more akin to resurrection than to creating a daughter for him. And it wouldn't guarantee the loyalty to the Kahn and his ideals that Mileena presents long after her father's "death". After all, Ermac broke free from that compelling force, so it wasn't simply mind control.

back on my ned low bullshit. tadhg murphy really did such a good job with him. he was terrifying the whole time but that fight scene really brought it out so perfectly. the way he only expresses so vibrantly when he's in an act of brutal hands-on violence, growls like an animal while fighting (brings to mind that doyle quote calling him "savage and desperate"), makes the creepiest eye contact, suppresses a smile with that blade under his chin. it FUCKS!!!!

the day i assign each strawhat a pokemon team (ft honorable mentions bc theres just So many different pokemon that fit them for many reasons. and like i'd see why others would assign them diff pokemon. but this is just in My Eyes) it'd be over for everyone
plus whenever i get a new interest, i immediately think about what pokemon my favs would have 😭
im noT finished with my list yet but the most common headcanon i've seen is luffy and aipom and monferno !! (both are monkey pokemon :3 and monferno is fire/fighting type...) so ofc he'd have them. BUT !! THERE ARE ALSO BUG POKEMON DO NOT FORGET !! HE'D ABSOLUTELY FREAK (POSITIVELY) SEEING THEM ESPECIALLY HERACROSS
also this is Just Me but i think it'd be really cute for nami to have swablu and wingull... like i cant really put it into words bc i dont have the words (though swablu should be self explanatory) (btw you will see a lot of me assign the strawhats pokemon purely based on vibes... but can u blame me theres over 1000 pokemon) AND SHE'D SOOOO HAVE A MEOWTH CMON !! cat burglar nami... meowth that likes to collect shiny coins and if it likes its trainer enough/in a good mood it'd show them its hosrd of treasure...
brook would absolutely have kricketune and you cant change my mind... (yohohoing and delelelewooping in the distance) also during that void of 50 years, he meets dhelmise (ghost/grass type)
obviously, zoro would have sword related pokemon like honedge(and its evolutions) and gallade and ceruledge and— YKNOW!! but (not so) fun fact about honedge. it is steel/ghost type and according to its pokedex, the pokemon is born when a spirit inhabits a sword... kuina and wado ichimonji... see where im going with this?
ANYWAY more thoughts eventually (it has been collecting dust in my notes app for months) but i love pokemon and combining them with my interests...
by the way sanji would have talonflame and i will elaborate later (i hope)

I gotta say, I don't love the idea of nightwing becoming a legacy hero. Yeah it's fun as hell to imagine what if other people in the batfamily were nightwing (I love the costumes that have been designed) but I personally wouldn't like the mantle being passed on.
Dick has already had a hero identity he created and that was very personal become a legacy hero. Robin was very much a way to honor his parents, the costume being a reworking of one of their show outfits, the name being his mother's nickname for him, etc. So to do it to him again.... doesn't sit right with me.
Now don't get it twisted I absolutely do not even dislike that Robin became a legacy hero. Dick grew up and needed independence and to be his own man without Bruce. Nightwing is that independence. Dick became nightwing to step away from Bruce and away from Gotham. " forged [it] on his own, his way" as Bruce once said.
So unlike symbols like batman or wonder woman or -hell- Spiderman, Nightwing is so inherently tied to Dicks growth as a person to me.
Now all this being said I'm not saying it's impossible to write a bangin story where someone else takes up the mantle. I'm just saying that the writer would have to come up with a really good reason as to why they have to be nightwing and not something new to convince me.
