the thing about the coffee theory (that the metatron did something to kind of brainwash aziraphale with it) is that from a cinematography point of view they put too much emphasis on filming the cup, and it was a key point in a lot of the scenes and frames leading up to the metatron giving it to aziraphale, and then aziraphale being clearly hesitant to take it and take a sip, and then deliberately not showing us the entirety of their talk, except what aziraphale saw as an opportunity to make things better

like im aware that people have probably noticed this but ive been watching stuff and on my initial watch i did notice that the coffee cup was so emphasised in the scenes where we could see it, and i couldnt rlly decide why it was so emphasised until i read about the coffee theory and please i need my fix-it im grasping at straws
