I have this recurring nightmear that's been fucking with my life for 5 years now. I'm in the woods, but the trees are so thick im stuck to clearings, walled in by trees. It's a very linier path, each time it's the same. I walk from the "start" into a large circular clearing. There are always 3 offshoots. One to the left. One to the right. And one in the middle. The left leads to a ruined church that was burnt out. The brick is still there, but from the steeple, there's a noose. The right leads to a ruined truck, rusted out, missing it's wheels but its engine is still humming. Then the middle. It's stairs, leading into a dark cave. The bricks are red, like blood was used to stain them, and at the bottom, there's a platform, almost floating on a sea of blood. In the middle of the platform there's a hole. And every time I look down that hole, I hear an Aztec Death Whistle. Every time. It's gotten so bad that I hear it even when I'm awake. Every time I hear it in the dream, the platform starts to sink, and I run up the stairs as im blasted with hot water and steam, until I reach where I "started".
