Delight Works is run by a bunch of cowards

oof , basically , due to storage issues on my phone , i’ve got no choice to ‘save’ my orbs .

and , i’ve got some goofy online purchases to make. because i’m enjoying being a NEET , at least temporarily .

i can limit my interaction with people , the feeling of control of my own mental health is wonderful.

but it sucks that i can’t put any weight onto my left foot yet , so i could dance!

(but to get back on topic...)

until i figure out my phone storage issues , it looks like i got no other choice but to skip. which is fine, because last time i checked , my orb count wasn’t all that high to begin with .

so nobody on the latest kiddo banner is jumping out at me. eh , it’s nbd , i got my crosshairs on spring alfonse anyways.

so if y’all want to read about my bitching about fgo , here’s the button!

to start off , i , a bisexual am a little sick of the summer banners being nothing but a clam jam , and i had the realization that brynzerker ( summer brynhildr) would technically be a duo unit in heroes . but , as per fuckin’ usual DW & type-moon are too cowardly to do collabs outside of the fate franchise.

but like , holy shit, i had a perfect idea for a all guys idol banner in fgo , it’s sorta like those band skins in league of legends.

but i lost my train of thought on that topic , and since im listening to the space channel 5 ost im thinking Arthur should get an Ulala inspired costume

idk , i just want an all guys idol / mahou shojou event , and i’m a simple bitch that wants to see arthur in a crop top.

and an even better idea, you could have a full blown anime arc , like you could have archer emiya get a new alt ( preferably lancer) and be the first villain of the event.

(look , he and tamamo get shafted a metric fuckton in favour of nero , so let me have this bit of self indulgence)

like , no joke , you could even throw ‘arthur lily’ in , and he also has a black hair ribbon like artoria lily

i’m not kidding when i say arthur lily needs a black bow in his hair too.

and to get back on topic , and i have a great idea for this event , instead of just EMIYA (lancer) as the main villian for this goofy idol event , you could have Lancer ! EMIYA and Tamamo-no-mae as the villain duo , like they could be as goofy as jessie & james. but their motivation for sabotaging the idol compettion is because they’re both sick of playing second fiddle to nero in addition to Archer emiya getting so pissed about not being an ssr.

so , yeah , give me a goofy idol event centered mainly on the guys , and make it like a retro , 80′s-90′s anime .

I laughed, handing Barry my things before I walked over to Cisco, stopping beside him.

“Hey Cisco, what’s up?”

He held out a headphone, throwing it in my face causing me to laugh harder as I put it in my ear, sitting down in the chair beside him.

“Listen to this.”

He pressed play, grinning over at me as the music started to play. He started to jump up and down in his seat, causing me to laugh.

“It’s you and Oliver!”

I made a face, tilting my head to the side.

“What?”

“Cause he’s a wealthy man! Your wealthy man!”

I laughed, throwing my head back.

“Oh my god Cisco!”

He grinned, shrugging.

“It’s true though!”

I laughed as I got up, giving Cisco a hug.

“See you later Cisco.”

I wasn’t even back for five minutes before there was a mission, causing me to huff as I changed into my mission outfit. It was all black like Laurel’s, save for the stripes of blue that went up my sides, legs and arms. I grabbed my eye mask, putting it on as I pulled my hair up into a ponytail. Oliver would be going in through the front while Roy and Diggle went in the back, leaving me on the side of a nearby building, watching. I huffed as I moved so I was leaning against the window seal, bringing my leg up to my chest. I was starting to get bored, creating a small orb of lightning, throwing it up in the air and catching it. I leaned my head back against the wall, singing low.

I work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay

Ain't it sad

And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me

That's too bad

In my dreams I have a plan

If I got me a wealthy man

I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball

“Lighting! We need you in here now!”

I jumped up, jumping off the side, crashing through the glass roof, landing on my feet. I looked up, seeing a group of men surrounding me. I lifted my hand, watching as all the men fell to the ground. I jumped up when I heard someone yell, running to the back where Oliver and the others were. I ducked when someone came at me, kicking my leg out. They grabbed my leg, throwing me to the ground, causing me to huff. They turned, causing me to roll my eyes as I reached out, grabbing their ankle and pulling them to the ground. They landed with a “thud,” groaning as I climbed on top of them, punching them in the face. He huffed as he headbutted me, causing me to groan. He flipped me over, punching me in the face. I started to hum, causing him to make a face as I grinned, flipping us over.

“Money, money, money. Must be funny. In the rich man's world.”

He made a face as I punched him, groaning.

“What the fuck dude?”

I laughed as I placed my hand on his chest, sending a jolt of lighting through him, knocking him out. I got up, singing as I fought my way towards Oliver and the others.

“Money, money, money always sunny.”

The men I came up behind froze in place when they heard me, making a face.

“In the rich man's world.”

I turned towards Oliver, grinning as I waved.

“Hey duck!”

Oliver stopped, making a face as I huffed, moving my arms around.

“Duck!”

He nodded, running behind a broken pillar as Diggle and Roy took cover, holding my hands out, a jolt of lighting leaving my hands, knocking all the men out. I walked over to Oliver, grinned as he huffed.

“You couldn’t of done that earlier?”

I laughed, leaning up and kissing his cheek.

“You love me.”

He huffed, nodding as he placed his arm around me, his hand coming to rest on my hip.

“Yeah yeah.”

I was laying on the table, throwing a ball of lighting up in the air as Felicity typed on her computer. After our last mission, it was discovered that they weren’t working alone, so Felicity was trying to find out they were working for.

“You’re doing it again.”

“Doing what?” “Humming.”

I made a face, tilting my head to the side.

“No I’m not.” “Yes you are.”

I huffed, sitting up.

“No I’m not.”

Felicity turned towards me, glaring slightly.

“Yes you are. What’re you humming anyway?”

“This song Ciso showed me.”

“What is it?”

I grinned, climbing off the table and walking over to her, nodding to her computer.

“May I?”

She grinned, nodding as she slid to the side.

“Be my guest.”

I laughed, pulling up youtube. Once I found the song I pressed play, the music playing through the speakers of the bunker.

“A man like that is hard to find but I can't get him off my mind. Ain't it sad. And if he happens to be free I bet he wouldn't fancy me. That's too bad. So I must leave, I'll have to go. To Las Vegas or Monaco. And win a fortune in a game, my life will never be the same.”

Felicity grinned, looking over at me.

“It’s you and Oliver!”

I laughed, shaking my head as I walked back over to the table, laying back down on it.

“That’s what Cisco said when he showed it to me.”

She laughed, playing it again, singing along with it.

“It is catchy.”

“Ain’t it though?”

All of a sudden the music stopped, causing me to make a face.

“Feli-” “Why are you on the table?”

“Aww come on man! We eat there!”

I grinned as Oliver came into view, waving.

“Hi.”

He laughed, shaking his head as he leaned down, kissing me.

“Now why are you on the table?”

I shrugged, grinning.

“It’s comfy.”

He laughed, shaking his head as he moved beside me, holding his hand out.

“Ok well right now you need to get up. We’ve got somewhere to be.”

I made a face as I let him pull me up, moving to stand between my legs, placing his hands on top of my thighs.

“Where we going?”

He grinned, leaning down and kissing me softly.

“It’s a surprise now come on.”

I was dressed to the nines, leaning against the railing, sipping from my glass of champagne.

“You know, when you said we were going out, I kinda thought you meant just the two of us, not us and the team.”

I looked down at the main floor where Oliver was talking to some rich guy, seeing him smirk over the rim of his glass.

“I’ll make it up to you, promise.”

I huffed, turning and walking towards a waiter, grabbing another glass of champagne.

“You better.”

I walked around the top floor, seeing the targets brother walk down a hall. I made a face, placing my glass of champagne on a window seal, following behind him. I watched him walk into a room, sighing softly as I debated on whether or not I should follow him. I shrugged, kicking my heels off and picking them up, following after.

“Ollie can kill me later.”

“Ollie can do what now?”

I didn’t answer, slightly pushing the door open and walking in. I gasped when I saw all the armed men in the room, lifting my hand and waving slightly.

“Uh, hi.”

All at once the men lifted their guns, pointing them at me. The targets brother, Mike, grinning as he cocked his gun, turning towards me and walking towards me.

“Why hello sweetheart. What are you doing in here?”

I bit my bottom lip, letting tears well up in my eyes.

“I was just looking for my friend! She said she’d be in here!”

Mike grinned, reaching out and moving a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

“Such a precious thing you are. It’s a shame really.”

I tilted my head to the side, making a face.

“What’s a shame?”

He grinned as he lifted his gun, waving it in front of me.

“That you have to die.”

I started to laugh, causing him to make a face as he took a step back, looking at his men.

“What’s so funny? I don’t understand. What’s funny?”

I stopped laughing, looking over at him.

“You said I have to die but it’s actually the other way.”

I flipped my shoe, throwing it at the two men closest before I ducked, Mike emptying his gun at the spot I was standing in, his men firing not long after.

“Y/N, Y/N what the hell was that?!”

I looked around, waving at the man who turned towards me, a bolt of lighting hitting him in the chest.

“Money, money, money.”

I flipped, throwing my arm at the two who were running towards me, laughing as they fell to the ground.

“Must be funny. In the rich man's world.”

I looked up when the door was kicked in, grinning at Oliver.

“Ollie!”

He walked in with Diggle and Roy behind him, looking around the room.

“What the hell happened in here?”

I sat up as Oliver walked towards me, smiling.

“Let me explain. I was bored and you left me alone.”

Oliver huffed as Roy and Diggle laughed, shaking his head.

“What happened?”

“Well, turns out Mike was actually who we were after and now he is, out of commision so to speak.”

Oliver shook his head, caging me into the desk as he placed both hands on either side of me.

“Were you singing?”

I made a face, tilting my head to the side.

“Was I?”

Oliver laughed, leaning down and kissing me softly.

“You’ll need to show me later. I need to see if it’s worthy.”

I made a face, slightly shaking my head.

“Worthy?”

“Yup, of us.”

A big shout out thanks to a friend name Xu Xu! I could of NOT done this without’em as people are too dang strict about AOTC only. Like I get it, it’s so it ensures players KNOW the fight. But even though I lacked AOTC doesn’t mean I do not know the fight. We one shot Heroic Argus in one go with 3 mins to spare before Argus berserks. Argus is BARELY any different from normal, but people act like it’s the most difficult boss when all he does is hit hella harder. It’s not like I wasn’t in the ilvl to even take on Argus either. I do not know if Xu Xu has tumblr buuuut the name of the bird is totally a shout out to Xu. Thank you so much for lending a hand and finally got the mount and the achievement for it.

Got a bit of a story below here...

Sooooo I been working on getting AOTC for months. I do not got the time or resources to create my own raid team, so all I got are pugs to join in if I got the time. After all that’s kinda the reason blizz created these ques to allow people to still be able to enjoy the game content. I learned ALL the fights, spent months gathering the gear so im at the ilvl needed for a Argus kill. But alas, people want only AOTC and yes I get it. It’s to ensure that the fight will be a 1 shot. Buuuut let’s be real here. In my experiences even people with AOTC, it does NOT guarantee that the raid will go smoothly. I rather be with people who may not have AOTC but have put the research to know all boss fights and gained the gear to take down Argus then a bunch of AOTC salty assholes.

What do I mean? Well the first group my friend helped me get in, so ALL these people got AOTC right? But as soon as the fight starts, things are going smooth for like 1 min into the fight. I’m doing at least 2 mil dps cause I pop everything at beginning so I’m hitting as hard as possible to get Argus to 70% to get passed 1 phase. But guess what, these people with AOTC...they kept dropping blight RIGHT in the stack group. I had to keep moving out of the sudden dot of doom PLUS argus doing his extra heroic aoe move and to move again because cone of death. I avoided all the cone of deaths it was the dang blights that was causing an issue. I’m poping my defenses to survive which was going fine but these AOTC players (and me at the time did not have AOTC) kept dropping blights (like 2-3) right in the stack group. (And even if some didn’t have AOTC, still does not excuse to not know what to do with blight wheeenn normal does the same move.)

So I get blight. Now I’m already moving to get out of a blight that is dropped right in melee. So I got blight and displacer(blink) way to the back of the group as that is where blight is to be dropped. But my hp was already low due to all the damage from argus and these players sloppily dropping blights. I die because I ran outa defenses to pop and argus did his aoe move just as I dropped my blight down. It’s not the healers fault, just dps that apparently want to get everyone killed so now my dps drops because I’m dead. A few other players are dead due to the same issue (or had caused it.) So I’m just all..welp, I just know it I’m gonna get kicked because of other players messing up. But I’m watching.

We still had plenty of people still up, they get passed 2nd phase no problem and then theres the 3rd one with the adds. And hardly ANYONE was interrupting cosmic beacon. My friend who went as a healer was getting annoyed and she being top heals, shes completely outa mana trying to save everyones ass. They managed to get passed that phase even though I saw another cosmic beacon go off. Now last phase. And guess what. The suppose all super strong aotc tanks just LEFT argus in the middle. The only thing that argus did was kept spinning around as now im trying to stay behind him and raid is yelling for tanks to move it to skull mark. Argus kills me and half the raid because of his swipe finally tanks position him to skull. But since so many kept dieing, tree was now gone and it was a complete wipe.

And yet this dumb ass raid leader kicks me out of group? When I had not done ANY of the huge mistakes, barely got a chance to do much because of other people screwing up. So my friend leaves and we can tell that group was just going to be shit. So we join another Argus group. This one was more chill, a good RL that is carefully picking and gathering to get a team set up. So I’m hoping we can one shot with this group, still feeling hopeful.

I’ve been in bad pugs before, sometimes you get in really good ones and other times really bad ones. It’s expected when you go for pugs. But this one....THIS ONE tops the CAKE! So once again, AOTC is the ONLY way to get a one shot kill huh? Lol.

WELL, the RL gets the team all set up. We are just about ready and summoning people in when all of a sudden. This asshole DH tank name Activedh from Area 52 began dissing and just being HUGELY salty about the other tank. Just kept going on and on and on about how horrible of a tank he is and that if RL doesn’t kick the supposed “bad tank” that he wants to be kicked out. I mean this DH kept it up but in the end. This DH tank just proved to everyone in the raid how much of a HORRIBLE tank he is because this story gets better. Ohhhh does it get better. I cannot MAKE this up. So RL tell’s the DH if he doesn’t like that the other tank is staying then he can just leave. So this DH is sooooo vengeful and angry over something so stupid he does end up leaving but also PULLS ARGUS! Does the biggest dick move all because he was having a shit fest over nothing? Now this is an AOTC I’m a bad ass and I know everything kind of player cause he also done mythic or whatever. But he’s blaming this other tank name moose that he’s a bad tank. But he just had a 2 yr old tantrum over nothing and pulled the boss to get everyone killed. Yet Moose is the bad tank? Does that make ANY sense at all?

So we all die but w/e NO ONE leaves, we all stay and we just get a new tank. RL just gets a few more dps and we’re back to summoning players in. And we all didn’t know but that SAME player logged on his monk. He qued up and got invited in only to pull boss on us AGAIN and then leave. He got us good on that, I got to hand it to him there. We totally did not expect it. But RL wised up to it as he was using something as he can tell that it was the same player. It’s not that hard to find out as you can go to the armory and just see the pets etc. I do not know what is used to find out but I’m just glad we had a smart RL.

Now for someone who was boasting and giving the other tank a hard time over nothing, we didn’t even begin and he sank so low of a level to log on another character just to try to troll us and get us killed again. Like yanno what, no one got mad really. We found it hilarious that someone would stoop to such a pathetic level of a tantrum, no one left still. The RL saw he signed up again but now he’s on a warlock and we’re like WAIT don’t invite him but wait until after we beat Argus then invite him so he can see we one shot the boss. :D

So RL leaves the list up, doesn’t invite anymore. We get to fighting argus, everything was going hella smoothly. Tanks did not do bad AT all like this AOTC asshole was dictating how much moose sucked. Hardly anyone died. Only just 2 people. But no one was making mistakes, people were on it. Phase 3 I got onto an add to make sure it doesn't cosmic beacon and gone through that phase no problem. We get to last phase, module orbs are getting smacked down every time they pop up. We are all on it. We kill Argus with like 3 mins to spare on his berserk. I get my mount FINALLY thanks to Xu and being so kind to get me in.

But yanno, ONLY AOTC’S ARE THE BEST RIGHT?! YOU GET NO PROBLEMS IN AOTC ONLY’S.

And the only tid bit of the screen shots I took of the chat. Lol. Not making up this story at all. This is after we killed the boss and what raid chat began talking on lol. He never got invited back in, I figured he unlisted cause he figured it out lol. In the end we proved his dumb ass wrong and everyone in the pug raid got Argus down and that was that.

I may have been struggling to try and get AOTC before BFA drops, to get the mount before it goes away. It ended up being an adventure and a good story that will never be forgotten. This is my sort of luck and it shows why I been struggling for so long but I got it done and it’s all thanks to Xu!
