“just use your fucking mouth to drink” cries the abled bodied person who has full mobility of their body and swallowing muscles c: “have you tried x to get over your disability” cries the abled bodied person who doesnt understand that we have already tried everything “well doesnt that sound a bit lazy using uber/doordash/grocery delivery?” cries the person abled bodied person who has the eye, brain function, hand strength and leg strength to drive a car and go to to the store food and go to your doctor visits unassisted  “oh but do you really need your cane/crutch/walker/wheelchair?” cries the abled bodied person who doesnt have balance problems, leg back hip issues, or the need to not be upright for extended periods of time “its unfair you get to take your tests in another room!” cries the abled bodies student who accused you of cheating for needing more time than the average person to complete test work  “well why do you even need the big stall” cries the abled bodied person who just wants to use the big stall bc they have “bathroom anxiety” and will shame you for asking them not to use it  “youre ruining all the fun!!” cries the abled bodied person who doesnt need accomadations bc life already does that for them and sees any accessible needs that deviate from the norm as a burden and a chore abled bodies are fucking clues to how inhuman and fucked up you sound when you say these things to us! You constantly shame us for using accessibility tools, for needing different things than you do. you ask us to risk our healths bc youre ashamed of our own disability, we know you feel pity on us and thats why youre asking if ive tried the next bullshit diet for my chronic pain. you ask us not to be so “loud” about our disabilities, because when you see us even speaking about our lived experiences and needs its too much humanity in us for you and you feel like you have to give us extra but were really asking for the bare minimum
