Her family were farmers, but she got a job as an apprentice under an alchemist at her local magistrates office. She became very skilled at the craft and opened up her own shop selling potions and other alchemy supplies for others. During her apprenticeship she grew close to a male tall-man named Leon. He was a cleric in training at the magistrate as well, spending lots of time between there and the church. Mina fell in love with him and they began a relationship that lasted for a long time, but they did not get married. They tried to have a child together but unfortunately lost it before it came to term. Leon and Mina were heartbroken and didn't try to have any more. Once she was well again, Mina began to go on adventures to take her mind off the loss. She threw herself into focusing on exploring and into making items for her shop. Leon tried his best to comfort her but their relationship was never the same and it crumbled away slowly. When the dungeon was discovered on the island, she closed her shop down and left on a boat to go there

Mina is one of Chilchuck's drinking buddies. They were in a party together for a job once, before he joined Laios' team. Not the one where the people were gonna use him as succubus bait lmao
