now ive got quadrants on the brain specifically kismesissitude because i see the general attitude towards "do you use hs quadrants to label ur irl relationships?" as "i have a moirail/understand having a moirail but the black quadrants just dont work for humans, theyre for a fictional species" or "i have a kismesis but its like a joke" and im like lol. lmao even.

i guess it is my troll kinnie ass but the most common crush i get on people is a pitch one lmao.. my relationship with my fiance started as a kismesissitude and slowly morphed into kismoirailsprits over time, but like, we were a healthy kismesissitude and we still are partly kismesisses! idk if yall saw that gay little interaction we just had (scroll a few posts down on my blog lmao) but like we are still antagonistic towards each other a lot and our relationship started with us hating each other and was built around how much we annoyed each other.

its a very specific feeling and emotion to me! because i have dated people and NOT felt that way, too, so its not like "oh but everyones playfully antagonistic to their partners sometimes!" no no no this is so different. because when i was with my last girlfriend, yeah we would tease each other sometimes, but it wasn't the same feeling as Pitch Romance to me. it's a whole different feeling.

i very often get crushes on people where they annoy the hell out of me. i find them attractive, and even charming at times, but most of the time when they talk im like oh my god you are the most annoying person in the world. i want to make out with you about it. pitch feelings are about being ANGRY that you like you someone so much, to me. like "why the fuck do i like you so much when you're always getting on my nerves. why do i want to be around you all the time even though everything you say pisses me off. why do i want to kiss you." lmao. thats my experience at least! and also wanting to annoy them and rile them up in return. thats how i felt about juice at the start of our relationship, and i still have those feelings towards it now, though i also have other feelings like just plain and simple genuine Love and Affection without the annoyance as well. it fluctuates. depends on if we are annoying each other at the moment or not haha

i've told ppl this and they've been like "oh so its like tsundere" and im just like. I GUESS????? but to me it is so different like i feel like tsundere is when you like someone but cant admit it so you act like you hate them (maybe you even believe that you hate them, but truly, you like them) whereas kismesissitude is truly hating someone, finding them annoying and infuriating, but in an exhilarating way. i hate you and you hate me and its fun to annoy each other and watch each other get all mad.

the quadrant i'd personally never feel the need to be part of is the ashen one because its main purpose is to prevent cheating on ur kismesis and its like. well im polyamorous so. lol. i could see it being used in human relationships if its like, someone who functions as your moirail and helps mediate in arguments you have with other people where you/the other person are getting too angry with each other? i guess?

and also like. treating a moiraillegience as monogamous and something you can "cheat on" someone else with is definitely not the way to go imo. i mean im in a pale throuple rn. we call each other moirails because we trust each other more than anyone with talking about our feelings and stuff! but back in the day i remember people literally being like "he said *paps you* to my moirail what the fuck thats MY moirai only *i* can pap them!l" and its like alright calm down...

the moment of realization what im max kinnie

in the aspect of being fucking dumb and nerdy (but he's closed about it) and having an insane amount of frustration because of it. it's being so stupid and incapable of studying what i had to drop shittiest college bc i couldn't do it. im jealous of smart people or anyone who can do what i cant, i want to cry and break stuff and yell when i don't understand very simple things and it happens a lot. im repressing my anger all the time, home doesnt feel like home at all, im always tense while my mom is around and all i think when she's near is what she'll start talking again how useless i am and what she doesnt want me here

in the aspect of being in need of a positive attention even though feeling there is really nothing what can be done to get it. it believing someone does good to me when its not, opening my heart to the random people who had to say or do to me just one nice thing. it's a need of control because all i feel is my life falling apart in my hands

it's not in the aspect of hunting bullying killing harassing anyone. just for the note

but like, the thing with 'kin is it's a specific belief about the self. what kinnies are doing is closer to face-claiming (thinking a character/animal/etc. is a good representation of you and presenting yourself as them in online spaces) rather than what being otherkin is (believing yourself to actually be a character/animal/etc. on some intrinsic level)

im an inclusionist which is why i welcome kinnies in the general alterhuman community, i do think we have a lot of things to learn from each other, but we are 2 completely different communities that simply got conflated due to a lack of information. our experiences are so different it's really not comparable to someone having a less strong belief, because fundamentally we really don't believe the same thing at all and it can cause both kinnies and otherkin people confusion when talking about it which is where a lot of that frustration comes from.

i fully support kinnies but i've also had some really bad experiences with them, entering spaces labelled as "kin" and then getting laughed at and called crazy. i'm not alone in this and it happened enough times that at this point i have a hard time trusting kinnies. while i trust not all kinnies are like that, it's also a part of their community they've mostly failed to address and us using the same terminology in such different ways makes dialogue hard. i think a simple switching up of words ("click/clicking" has been proposed as an alternative to "kin/kinning" in that sense and i really like it personally) would go a long way with distincting us and would be beneficial for everyone here!

with all due respect anon but this isn't accurate at all to the term and delineating between "kinnies" and "otherkin" isn't....like a set thing. kinnie is literally just a shortened joke version of "otherkin" and "fictionkin" people who were other/fictionkin created as a joke to refer to themselves as. determining whether or not someone is serious about kinning based on them calling themselves a kinnie isn't a good metric by any means, it's only really just a metric about how seriously someone takes themselves.

i'm a kinnie. i exclusively refer to myself as a kinnie and don't like referring to myself as fictionkin or otherkin at all, and my legal name is Dirk Strider. I also think that me saying i kin a guy from an episode of a second rate tv show that only appears for ten minutes even if i don't really think I'm him isn't diluting the word or making anyone else's understanding of themselves who refer to themselves that way 'less meaningful,' and incredibly popular philosophical argument in inclusionist communities you should keep in mind everyone i know who kins also primarily refers to themselves as kinnies as well; i just dont think the point you're making here of "kinnies are different" isn't accurate in the sense of "kinnies believe this" or "kinnies don't believe this" i guess. as for the "being called crazy" thing, thats an ableism thing, and again im not sure if going "well you need to call yourselves something different so i dont go into your spaces" is a solution here because that doesn't fix the ableism or the fact that ultimately for another example; if someone goes into certain system servers and talks about soulbonds and is not taken seriously that those people need to not call their space a system space, its just not a space that is under that umbrella that is going to suit that persons needs- requiring others to describe themselves differently because they don't ascribe to a specific belief among an extensive collection of philosophies just is not the solution here. tldr: i'm still up for discussing this stuff further but i dont think making a line between "kinnie" and "otherkin" here is.....an actual distinction that indicates anything about how serious or inclined someone is to understand your particular philosophy and saying "what kinnies are doing is xyz" is about as helpful to a situation as saying "what homestucks are doing is xyz," the term 'kinnie' doesn't indicate nearly as much about belief systems as you think it does

Everytime u mention william's intense hatred for vulnerability and constant need for control...man he just like me fr💔 anyway my beloved author i have arrived with a new idea: william and a s/o who's just obsessed with car trips so they'll always insist he takes them for a drive (or even offer to drive themselves when he's too tired for that in case of a bigger trip). They're the kind to piss him off on purpose when they flick the radio to a rock station and turn it up while spazzing the fuck out in the passenger seat as they fix their makeup casually. Also bonus points if they stop in case of an issue and he gets to take a look under the hood bc they think its the most attractive shit ever watching their beast of a boyfriend work on machinery💯💜 insert rihanna's shut up and drive here - will kinnie anon

(me too bestie..me too </3 BUT YEAHHH ROAD TRIP REQUEST! fits well cuz I came back from one like..a month ago or so during my school break.[it was hell btw,got sunburnt on my legs and back </3] and this post will be a bit longer- mostly just me rambling tho )

William actually loves road trips! He kinda just hates he’d have to bring Michael and Liz along but accepts the fact since you seem them as your kids also. (the two have fun btw..they barely got out of the house till you came around-)

William has to buy a whole fucking van for trips since his poor car can barely even hold itself together at this point. Yeah it’s all shiny but trust me that thing has been through things.

The one thing he hates is having to pack everything,plus since we both know Liz has to bring every My Little Pony toy show owns but Michael just packs some clothes,hair brush,toothbrush,ya know..stuff ya actually need!

You have to basically beg him to take at least two weeks off work for road trips,since one time you has suggested Las Vegas and he just stared wide eyed at you. “Luv,i’d love to but taking the kids plus you would cost a lot just for a simple hotel! Vegas is expensive!” - Will,who still took you and the kids.

That trip to Vegas was probably chaos,but we won’t get into that-

The trip you all went on was to California (which was a 12 hour drive..help Will istg-) As soon as William started driving you turned on the radio,flipping it to one of the rock stations which made Will hissy as hell since he couldn’t even focus on driving.

Michael and Liz are the siblings to fight over the smallest things in the backseat- Will always has way to keep them quiet though,as i said this takes place at least during early 2000′s so he just makes the two watch a movie they both like on the Liz’z tablet.

William likes to talk about the most..random stuff on roadtrips,for example if you two would ever get married,what the wedding would be like,ect. (sncifief he gets soft at random moments,alright?-)

The type of dude to hold your hand while he drives-

You two for sure take turns driving,he’d drive for a few hours and once you two stop at a gas station for gas you could drive. He also makes sure to buy more snacks for everyone and drinks since Liz probably eats all hers in the first few hours. (tbh,michaels a slow eater so you don’t gotta worry about him)

Will’s nice enough to stop at Mcdonalds for everyone,he may despise the place but it’s to keep Liz quiet.

He also enjoys just watching you drive and looking at you in general during the trip. He likes to see you smile and enjoy yourself. (please remind him that he also makes the trip better,he’s actually worried he’s making the road trip 10x worse-)

If there was something wrong with the car,Will would be fucking pissed- He had just got this van for 200 dollars and he was not letting it die that fast. Okay one..okay yeah you really think him looking under the hood is the most attractive thing for sure-

I mean the fucker unbuttoned a few of his buttons on his shirt cuz he said he was hot and all you could do was look respectfully- (once he’s done he’d just glare asking “..why did yew enjoy that?” “you’re attractive. that's why-”)

"writing smut about children is wrong" a) a LOT of the people writing smut about children are... teens themselves. there's nothing wrong with exploring sexuality through fiction and in general it's a pretty safe thing to do b) adults writing it either age up the kids or write about it not in a pedo*hilic way but in a way that's chanelling their inner teen which guess what is also pretty healthy and safe c) can we stop throwing around pedo as a buzzword you literally don't know what it means if you use it against other people like that d) simplifying the statement like that erases a lot of nuance surrounding this like sure if you put it like that it seems simple enough but by doing so you neglect so much of it e) stop drinking the terf kool-aid "but I'm queer I'm trans" you are still drinking the terf kool-aid you are feeding into radfem rhetoric

mmmmmm itd be a little funny if they just didnt have any. well okay thatz a lie, they DO have eyez, but not onez most ppl [ie, humanz] can see? if i had to compare whatz going on to something, itd be like how in soma, when ppl were put into robotz, their brainz refused to comprehend it, so instead showed them something they were familiar with. thatd be the case with poppyz eyez. they HAVE eyez, just none that we can comprehend, so to most people/beingz, theyd just be simple dark eyez. humanz see no eyez at all - just a void - but anything else that can SOMEWHAT see, though not entirely, just see darkness with a slight difference between pupil and the rest of it. possibly tinted blue? with little speckz of white.

vervain - meaning "pray for me, protection against evil"

mmmm. itd be a little funny if i said the dark az a mundane fear, though i guess in the backroomz itz kinda warrented. loud noisez too - like balloonz popping, lol - are known to startle them.

but biggest fear?? mmm i couldnt tell ya. i dont think theyd have one, or maybe just havent figured it out themself. i havent thought of one for them yet lol. ur free to give suggestionz. winky face.

🏊 SWIMMING - can they swim? or are they afraid of water? how well do they swim? how do they feel about swimming in the ocean?

i mean. they can float? and can probably go from one end of a swimming pool to another lol. but can they keep themselvez afloat if the waterz deeper than they are tall? fuck no lol. plus, all the layerz of their clothez way them down a ton. they know enough to survive long enough for someone to pull em out, or swim in a 'shallow' pool [maximum of 5'5'' deep tho any more than that and they Will throw a fit /j] but not enough to survive like. the OCEAN. in fact the thought iz mildly terrifying and theyd rather not, thankz!

🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?

mmmmmm. their friendz. they dont even have to be in danger, just a friend calling to them to come look at something. other partypooperz, some entitiez they know, or wandererz theyve befriended. they SHOULD know better, and usually they do stop and consider if itz actually them or something mimicking them or even just a trap in general, but well. they like their friendz! a lot lol.

📸 CAMERA - do they enjoy having their picture taken? what’s their go-to pose? do they like taking photos? what do they take photos of?

dependz. mask on? they dont really care az long az nothing identifying in the picture. mask off? hoodie off? nah. fuck that. theyll break ur camera lol.

but if you ask nicely to take a picture theyll probably say yes. they stand so awkwardly tho theyre like when ur a kid and ur grandma makez u stand next to ur siblingz or cousinz or smthn and keepz telling u to get closer so u just stand there like "aaaaa" yknow? they stand like that lol. theyll usually have a hand in a pocket or holding something and doing a little peace sign with the other.

yes actually! theyre very quiet around strangerz, more tense and aware, and give very short responsez that often make them come of az rude on accident. around friendz theyre more outgoing, louder or just in general friendly. more willing to take off their jacket and hoodie, or move up their mask to drink stuff, yknow?

🔫 PISTOL - do they trust people easily? how easily will they turn their back to someone? have they been backstabbed before? will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

ehhhh not very well. they give wandererz the benefit of the doubt each time and enough trust to let them follow behind them, but other entitiez are on much thinner ice. it takez a lot to earn their trust, but unless you give proof you plan to hurt them, they wont leave you to just die, yknow? mmm. id say they have def been backstabbed on multiple occasionz, esp during the fun war - theyd be bringing a wanderer back only to LITERALLY get stabbed, or maybe a bat to the face, or getting kicked down to the ground. theyve managed to escape nearly every time with only minor injuriez or scratchez, but it defz hurtz each time, even if they expected it.

az for betraying someone.... well. theyd never betray their closest friendz. and theyd like to think that theyd never, EVER do such a thing for even an ultimatum.

but if they were given hard proof, actual evidence, of, say.. being able to leave the backroomz? or their friendz being forever safe and protected?

theyd like to think theyd never turn their back on their friendz. but whoz to say how theyd actually act in the situation if there waz proof. :]

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

they like to sing! sometimez if they think theyre alone, theyll be humming to themself or muttering lyricz under their breath. itz a comfort to them :]

❤️ RED HEART - their love language(s)?

actz of service or wordz of affirmation, usually. theyre not AGAINST touch, but will only do that with ppl they deeply trust. will be flattered by being given giftz, and iznt against given them themself, but all in all, theyre very much a "actionz speak louder than wordz" type of guy, mixed in with a "i NEED to tell ppl they did amazing in order to show my love or i WILL die."

🧠/cereb - it is short for cerebrum <3 and he's the manifestation of my brain

🗃️/collie - we settled on this bc while she's perfectly fine with being seen as their source, we wanted a way to distinguish between him and canon <:) also hes a dog so its a funny pun

🍭/bg/bubblegum - OK THIS IS SIMPLE . they're an introject of an oc of mine so we just. kept the same name

🧭/philip - he realllllly doesn't wanna be seen as the exact same person as his source, but he's still attached to the character + show, so we thought that something connected to it but still general enough to not immediately be clocked as a fictive would be best. we tried to find other names that were even more separated but nothing felt quite right to him

👀/wizzy - this wasn't the first choice actually! we were thinking of going by wizbot because it was shorter than lonely wizard, but i think it was one of my qpps who started calling them wizzy as a nickname, and they really got attached to it!

💝/powder - this one just kinda Came to us tbh?? hea showed up super abruptly and she already had a name and stuff. i think its a reference to the color powder pink but its also just generally cute!

♟️/alexei - again a case of wanting to be separate from who they're an introject of ... alexei is a name that sascha vykos goes by on occasion, and alexei also goes by sascha in return

🟠/sel - ok so its an introject of the photographer from inscryption and that character is based on leshy from the same game so we literally just took leshy's name, reversed it, and shortened it. sel is another one who showed up really quick so we were able to come to a conclusion easier too

⛵/irah - ehhh. i think we straight up went to google and dug around until we found something good

💔/scorch - dude i don't know. its another introject of an oc who was named Torch but then this guy showed up and named itself Scorch and i just shrugged and went with it
