my go to makeup routine in detail ~ 🪄
1. Wash face with a cleanser
product : cetaphil cleanser for oily skin
2. Sunscreen everywhere
product : Nivea sunscreen spf 50
3. Concealer where i need it
product : nars or tarte concealer
— i only use foundation if im going out or if i want to. It feels too heavy on my skin imo.
4. Blush <3
product : miss claire
— i apply a bit on my cheekbones and a very very small amount on my nose ! Sometimes i use a makeup sponge, my finger or a very fluffy blush :)
5. Highlighter
product : miss Claire
— i apply it using my finger or an eyeshadow brush but only a tiny bit of it, i dont want a lot !
6. Blush + highlighter on eyes
— i use the same products on the eyes just a bit darker or light depending on the occasion. Sometimes i dont wear any at all!
7. Eyeliner
product : idk i got it at the flea market
— i always do either a wing with an inner corner or around my eyelid only with no wing, kind of a bear eyeliner i guess , but sometimes i dont wear any :)
8. MASCARAAA
product : Maybelline colossal mascara
— its such a good mascara and gives so so much volume ! 100% recommend it. Never go anywhere without it !
9. Lipstick
product : Vaseline, maybelline New York lipstick in shade 660 or 373
— Vaseline always for lip care and over that i go in with either of the shades mentioned and just dab it on and spread it accordingly
10. Setting powder
product : Miss Claire setting powder
— idk when ur supposed to pt it but i put a bit after my makeup for a matte finish !
And thats it ! Drop some tips or your own makeup routine for me in the comment <33

makeup routine for lazy peeps like me
none of you asked for this but I feel like sharing it bc I'm bored and on a long ass car ride
🌸
Step one: SKINCARE
skincare is my life!!! I may be a depressive ass bitch who isolates herself but I love my skincare
my before makeup skincare consists of:
cleanser (I use cetaphil bc its cheap and works amazingly 👌👌)
toner (I use both garniers new rose spray and milk makeup matcha toner bc I love both smmmmmmmm!)
moisturizer (I'm currently using tartes h2o moisturizer but I'm trying to use it up so I can buy neutrogena gel one for combo skin)
an eye depuffer if im feeling fancy (I use garniers but i want to buy pixis gold one)
lip chap!!! (I love carmex, I bought it the other day and my lips have never been softer)
🌸
step two: PRIMER
so I just started doing this, and I'm still figuring it out because I dont wear foundation/concealer cause I dont need them and also think it's too much work to put in everyday, but I wear highlighter
I start with spot priming my large pores with porefessional, then I spray elf aqua mist all over my face to just prime and hydrate it (that is gonna be a BLESSING when winter comes and all moisture sucks itself from my face)
🌸
step three: BROWS
I have really strong brows so for brows I just pencil in some more definition with the nyx micro pencil (I love it sooooo muchhhh the colour matches my brows amazingly, which is a miracle) then I brush the elf brow gel through it (I place gel on my brow then brush through with the spoolie from the pencil)
🌸
step four: EYES
this is the longest step for me besides skincare, just because of how much I put on my eyes (which isnt a lot)
I start by priming my eyes bc i have really oily eyelids. to prime I actually use the elf duo concealer (the one that comes with a white glittery highlighter). I blend it in with my fingers then set with the elf hd setting powder (the big one not the undereye one)
once my eyes are set, I bring out my tartelette in bloom palette (rip funny girl which fell into my tub😭). I start by blending mixture of jetsetter and sweetheart into my crease, dragging it under my eyes and on my lid. to finish my eyeshadow I take either one of the shimmers off the palette, a champagne highlighter, or a pinkish shimmer from my big 100 colour elf palette
once my eyeshadow is done, I finish my eyes by curling my lashes and applying lash paradise mascara (one and a half coats; I take it out of the tube, apply it to my first eye and then apply whats left to the other, I then repeat doing the second eye first)
🌸
step five: HIGHLIGHTER
I love highlighter so much. Highlighter is my life. Highlighter is my love. I alternate between seeing my face from space or super natural glow from inside
I start with putting a liquid highlighter (usually elfs bare illuminating one) on my high points (cheekbones, brow bones, nose, cupids bow, chin) by blending with my fingers
if I'm feeling like it that day I might set it with either lit or strobe from the tarte pro glow contour kit, or elf baked highlighter in moonlight pearls
🌸
step six: LIPS
one word: lipgloss
Im currently in love with fenty gloss and essences wet look glosses
🌸
step seven: SETTING SPRAY
I always set my face with a spray to avoid my makeup running down my face, so after im done my makeup I take a bath in all nighter
🌸
and thats it! I keep it super simple because I love just accentuating my features and HIGHLIGHTER
I hope yall enjoy this!

I'm in need of some new makeup, what are your favorites? Like for a whole face, foundation, concealer, mascara, etc?
I have slightly oily skin so these work for me but if you are really oily or really dry they may not work so well. Also I mostly use higher end makeup as the cheap ingredients in the drugstore stuff breaks me out really bad so Im not the greatest person to ask if you are on a budget!
Primer: I dont usually use one since I moisturize before before I do my makeup but I have started using the Loreal Glotion this summer, it makes me nice and glowy which Im all about
Foundation: Estee Lauder Double wear, Mac Face and Body, or Lancome Skin Feels Good. Ive stopped using the Double Wear everyday though because full coverage foundations clog my pores really bad and my skin has thanked me for it. The Lancome one has become my go to, I love it. Also, most people dont need full coverage foundation and if you have acne its literally the worst for your skin, just spot conceal.
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape for when I use the Estee Lauder foundation and Nars Radiant Creamy concealer for everyday
Contour: Smashbox contour kit
Bronzer: Becca Sunrise Waves or Too Faced Chocolate bronzer
Blush: Tarte and Milani
Highlight: Becca Opal is my jam
Setting powder: Cover FX
Eyeliner: Kat von D for Liquid and Mac (Teddy) for khol
Mascara: It Cosmetics Superhero
Eyebrows: Anastasia
Lipstick: My favorites are Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk and Bite Meringue (especially with a gloss over it)

Everyday Makeup Routine!
Hello guys! School just started for most of us so i decided I would share my everyday makeup routine that I have been doing! Its super easy and does not take that long to create.
Mascara: I always start with my eyes first and all I do is put mascara on. I try to avoid eyeshadow if i am just going to school, and it doesn’t take as much time if you skip that step. Im currently using my ELF volumizing mascara as well as the Mally more is more mascara. I’ll do a couple layers of both on each eye.
Prep skin: I like to prep my skin before I go in and use foundation. I use a light moisturizer, and then go in with my Becca shimmering skin perfector in any of the areas I want to look more dewy!
Foundation: For foundation I've recently been using the Healthy Elixir by Covergirl. I really like the coverage it gives and it feels like I’m not wearing anything on my face throughout the day. It doesn’t get oily and melts off like other foundations that i’ve used! I usually put on just a light to medium coverage for a natural look.
Concealer: My all time favorite concealer is the Maybelline FitMe concealer. I put this on any blemishes i have, under my eyes, on my nose, and in the middle of my forehead.
Powder: To quickly set my face i use the Maybelline Fittme pressed powder with a small brush and make sure i set all the areas where I put the concealer since I want it to stay in place all day.
OPTIONAL- these next steps are optional and take up a little bit more time but i love doing them and think it adds a lot to the look!
BRONZER: I don't like to focus too much on contouring my face when its just a quick and easy makeup look, so I will focus more on just bronzing the skin to add color to it. As of now I’ve been using the Physicians Formula butter bronzer.
BLUSH: I don’t do this everyday but sometimes I like to add more color to my face by adding blush.
HIGHLIGHT: Highlighter is an essential to me and I love making my skin look super glowy! My favorite highlighters are the Mary lou manizer by the balm, or any of the ABH glow kits. For an extra glow spray your face with a finishing spray first and then apply the highlight!

Hello Tumblr!
I hope everyone had a great October! This is my very first update for my Project Pan. I took these pictures on November 1st.
For those that are following me, I completely forgot to say the names of the products that I’m using! Sorry about that. 😖
Project Pan Use Up Items:
1.) Lancôme Juicy Tube in Moulin Rose
2.) Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Powder Foundation in the shade 52 Medium
3.) Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
4.) Smashbox Halo Long Wear Blush in Warm Glow
5.) Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Highlighter in Lunch Money
6.) Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
7.) Sonia Kashuk All Covered Up Concealer in the shades 01 Porcelain and 03 Sand
With that out of the way, let’s look at my progress,
For the Lancôme lip gloss, I think that I have made pretty good progress this month. This is one of the last lip glosses in my collection, and I do like how it doesn’t feel drying on my lips. However I don’t like this color, I think that it doesn’t pair well with my Chocolate Bar palette eyeshadows, so I’m just using it at home or at night before I go to sleep. If I used it during the day, I already know that it would be done by December.
The KVD powder is the only power that I have ever used, it’s so underrated. I think I repurchased it twice, it’s super soft and gives just a hint of coverage. I have oily/Combo skin, so this stuff stays on the warmer months. I want to use this up and try something new, its only coloured powder that I have. As for the progress this month, I didn’t hit pan which is what I wanted. The problem isn’t that fact that I own a ton of makeup and don’t have enough time to use it. It’s that I basically NEVER wear makeup. I am a full time college student with a part time job, and I’m just too lazy to spend time in the morning to put on my makeup. This project is an excuse to force myself to put makeup on more often. If I used this everyday, I would have definitely hit pan by now. I really want to step up my game in November, and try it hit some major pan on this one.
For the Chocolate Bar Palette I want to finish most of the eyeshadows by the end of next year. This is the first eyeshadow palette I ever bought, and I currently only have 3 palettes in my collection. My goal is the finish most of the eyeshadows in my palettes, toss them, and only buy single eyeshadow in a Z palette. I never owned a Z palette, but I love the idea of getting only shades that I love and use. As for the CB I love this palette, I’ve had it almost 4 years and it doesn’t even show. It’s a tough one to pan, but I really want to finish it next year. As the November, my goal is to hit pan on all the Eyeshadows that have the halo on it. I don’t know if I can do it, but I really want to try.
The Smashbox blush I have mixed feeling for. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don’t. It’s a loose blush in a nude color, you need to grind it to get the color out. The color is great, and you only need a little bit of it to get a good colour pay off. I have a ridiculous amount of blush, I think I have 5 in my collection right now. Which is insane considering how long it takes to use up a blush. I never finished a blush before, and I really want to. This blush is discontinued, but im not really mad about it. I can’t track my progress on this one, since the metal blade thing can’t be removed. I wish it could, then I can just use it as a normal blush. It’s so easy to go overboard with it, so you need only just a touch. I don’t know when I’ll finish it up, but hopefully by the end of this year I will be done with it.
I love the colourpop super shock shadows, I think I have 6 of them. This however is a highlighter, and was one of my favorites for a while. I realized that I don’t like this anymore, mainly because I don’t like cream highlights. I hate using my hands to put on makeup, and none of my brushes work with this formula. I have to use my hands to make it look good. I have been using the large lower-right corner shade in my Chocolate Bar palette to highlight my face and I love it. I have made great progress on this highlighter this month, mainly because I but it on under the CB shade. I want to try and use this up by the end of the year.
The UD primer potion is the only primer that I have ever used. This tube is VERY old, I got this the same time I got the CB palette. I love this primer and I’m in no rush to finish this up. There’s nothing else to say really, but I did made a little progress this month. In the end I’m going to buy this again when I finish all my eye primers, I’m going to miss it when it’s gone.
Last but not least we have the Sonia Kushuk concealers. I have THREE of these, all in different colours. I love this concealer, BUT WHY DID I NEED THREE. I love this to cover pimples, it works so well for that. I have a lot of concealers in my collection, mainly because I don’t really like to wear foundation. I think think putting on both takes too much time, so I just cover half my face with concealer. These SK concealers have the worst color range ever. The lightest shade is almost my skin tone, and I’m not even pale! 01 is slightly too light and 03 is too orange and dark, so I’m mixing them to finish them together. I have been using them under my eyes, which I do not recommend. I need to use a beauty blender with these since they are insanely heavy. I have also have the shade 02, which is perfect for my skin tone, which I will keep for breakouts after I finish 01 and 03. These are not for all over the face, so when i finish these I will buy lighter concealers.
Thank you guys for ready this long post, I just wanted to go into each product better. Hope you guys have a progressive November.
Stay Weird,
Summer

In Which I Share my Discoveries in Makeup
So I have been pretty shit at wearing makeup in the four months since I went full time and if I left the flat most days I would just smear some concealer on ma face hair and maybe some eyeliner and lipstick if I'm actually making and effort... on some very rare days I would wear a full face of foundation but never really liked it...
BUT Ive had almost a month of feeling really depressed and reclusive and dysphoric and I think that’s partly down to me not really making an effort with my appearance and it damaging my self esteem...
So I've recently been doing self care in the for of cosmetics shopping and am am making an attempt to learn about and actually get good at makeup and find something that works for me... This is what I have discovered:
Foundation:
This is the big one for me. The foundation that I have been using since I started wearing makeup just doesn't really work for me, so I never ended up wearing it. I recently realised it also oxidises during the day so goes a shade darker and a little orange after a few hours - not a good look!! Its also a full coverage foundation that feels pretty heavy, I really don’t like it and so never really wear it...
In looking for an alternative I have found that my skin is actually surprisingly pale. My skin is pretty red and blotchy and i have big eye bags and beard shadow which disguises the fact that my skin is really light (as in lighter than the lightest foundation in most drugstores) which makes finding something appropriate difficult! On top of this, my skin is pretty sensitive and likes to get super oily when I’m in the warm and super dry in cold weather so I need a foundation that is both hydrating and mattifying!
I think I have found a solution though. I am currently using (over a concealer for my beard and bags) a very very lightweight and also very pale CC cream. Its like a super lightweight sheer foundation (more like a tinted cream) which literally just blurs imperfections and hides some of the redness in my skin. I really like this as it basically just feels like you have put moisturiser on your face and it looks really good! Ive also got a powder in a pale shade that I use to set the cream and make it matt.
The sorta grunge aesthetic that I follow isn’t that big on foundation anyway to be honest. Makeup in this style tends to be like bold lipstick or bold eyeshadow but avoids the ‘flawless glow’ skin thing that it seems everyone wants. I guess its a kinda natural face look combined with natural eye or lips that I’m going for, so this minimal CC cream is a perfect option!
Concealer:
This is probably the most important one for me, since I have a lot to conceal! On lazy days, this is pretty much all I wear. I have been using a liquid tube concealer but I think its a little dark for my skin tone and because its pretty runny it can look cakey when put on thick, so I'm trying some new things.
Firstly, and this was a revelation for me, was to cover the dark blueish patches of stubble with red lipstick first. It sounds crazy but it brightens and neutralises the blue tones!! Also because I have really red cheeks and nose it kinda brings that area to the same colour as the rest of my face.
Ive tried a few drugstore concealers, little pots of hard creamy stuff and liquid stuff and the ones that come in a stick that you rub on but honestly pretty much everything from a hughstreet is too dark for my skintone. pretty much all areas i am concealing are darker than the rest of my skin so I want a really bright concealer to combat that. Ive got a liquid wand application one I bought online that is really pale so hopefully that should sort this issue! This bright concealer will probably also double as a highlighter too.
Contouring:
This is totally new to me and I still don't really know what I'm doing. My pale skin strikes again in that pretty much all contour kits I can buy on the hughstreet are way too dark and orange for my face. The highlighter is darker than my foundation!! Also because I'm pale orangey/bronze stuff looks weird on my face so the bronzer used for the shadows is no good.
Instead I've gone with using my concealer as a highlighter, found a pale blush online and I'm just using the lightest shade in my contour kit for cheekbones and stuff...
I really like what contouring does to my face when I get it right, foundation can make my face look a little flat and moon-like so its good to put a bit of shape back in. It can also be used to make stuff look thinner and smaller which is good for feminising features a little :) Blush is fun but I don't need to do this so much since I'm using a CC cream instead of foundation and my natural skin tones show though a little more anyway.
Eyes n Brows
Again something I'm totally new to. For the past ages I have literally just been doing winged eyeliner and that is it. Im pretty good at winged eyeliner now though! Anyway I have started doing a little with eyeshadow and I'm really enjoying it. I have to be really careful not to go over the top and look all drag queen-y but I'm learning. I have pretty deep set hooded eyes so you can't really see it anyway but putting highlights and shadows places can make them seem less deep set and a little bigger which is cool. I think dark bold eyeshadow kinda fits my grungey aesthetic so I’d like to get better...
I literally never wear mascara... I don't really like how it feels and I don't have eyelash curlers so when I do use mascara they don't point up and just kinda cover my eyes and look bad. Maybe I will return to them one day with better products - who knows!
I am literally shit and keeping up my eyebrows but I'm getting better and they make such a huge difference I really should pay more attention to them... I literally just have an eyebrow pencil and sketch over them to fill them in a bit. I should probably sharpen it and do a bit of experimentation with shape but whatever...
Lips
I literally own two lipsticks, red and purple. I never even wore the red one until i dyed my hair black. One is a classic cream stick and the other is a matte liquid. I really really like the matte liquid lipstick because you an be really precise with its outline and shape. That means when i am slightly overdrawing your top lip (my top lip is half the size of my bottom) i can be really precise with the shape. Because its matte it doesn't really fade its either on or off which is great because if you have overdrawn but its faded stuff can look weird. It does mean the inside of the lip can rub off more quickly and you get an ‘only wearing lipliner’ look which can be bad, so it needs touchups.
I’d really like to expand my lipstick collection to more colours and nudes... Since I wear glasses and have short dark hair my lips can look a little lost so I need bolder shades. I hate pink lipsticks on me with an intense passion - they look awful! Liquid mattes are always expensive and I’m always too scared to commit to buying lipsticks in case they don't suit me... I guess I just need people to gift me lipstick!
Anyway I think thats basically it - these are my discoveries in makeup.
In all honesty, once I start e and my skin clears up, and once I get laser hair removal so I don't have to conceal my facial hair Im pretty sure ill hardly even use foundation - maybe just some eye bag concealer and a loose power - Its the lips and eyes where my attention is really, thats the fun bit, and the bit I'm looking forward to expanding on!
Anyway I hope for anyone who has bothered to read this that it has been vaguely interesting or informative. This is literally all just based on personal preference and experience - if you wear loads more makeup than this or none at all its still all good! Like I said a lot of days I just wear concealer or even none at all but those are the days I'm usually feeling like shit about myself so I'm making the effort to lessen them.

Golden Rose Haul + mini reviews
●   Hello everyone . I hope you are all having a great start to this month and i hope you all have a good one. Today im gonna do a Golden Rose haul that i was waiting to do for a while since i wanted to try out the products before i talked about them . Golden Rose bran is my favorite brand in my country because they have a lot of great quality stuff that are affordable even for the girl on the budget plus they recently started selling Makeup Revolution products that im so excite to try.
The first thing in this haul is my new favorite eye shadow - Silky Touch Matte Eyeshadow number 212 (2.27$ - 130 mkd ) .Its a matte shadow in this beautiful salmon purply  color that i didnt have until now. The pigmentation is on point and the shadow is very  smooth and silky and feels amazing , so no fallout  no chalkiness and blends beautifully even tho recently im using it as a base shadow or if i wanna so a softer everyday look i just put it all over my lid and go out the door.
Next is this Golden Rose Highlighter brush (2.80$ - 160 mkd). I really liked the shape of this brush thats why i bought it , and plus i didnt have anything like it in my collection . I know its a highlighter rush but im using it as a blending brush and i love it for putting eye shadow all over my lid . Its really soft and feels great on the skin.
I love my rimmel stay matte foundation , but this winter my skin was so  dry and every time i used that foundation all i could see was my skin texture and my dry patches , so i finally decided to get another type of foundation for my face (a liquid one). This is the Golden Rose Perfect Finish in number 60 (6.30$ - 360 mkd). This is what the foundation claims it does:
liquid foundation with moisturizing agents and vitamin  for skin protection moisuisation and antioxident effect
provides silkysoft touh an semi matte sinish with medium coverage
lightweight oil free texture
paraben free formula
for all skin types (but i wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin)
i really love this foundation its works really well for me , its not full coverage and i like that sometimes and it feels like im not wearing anything on my face.
The Contour Powder Kit ( i cant remember 5-6$ - okolu 300-400 mkd) is one of their newer products i think and i wanted to try a contour palette so i can have something that had all that i needed in one palette on the go. I was excited because it had a mirror a bronzer and a highlight. I have to say its not the best thing i have tried. The pigmentation is not that great and its so hard to put on the product with a brush and you have to work to build it up and the blending part is hard because it doesnt bland that easy :/ . The highlighter is not a highlighter , its more of a powder, there are no shimmers inside , so i guess they wanted to make a highlight that wasnt sparkly but just to make some parts of the face look brighter in my opinion , i wouldnt know haha. Overall , if i could i would want to get my money back for this product but i cant , so i have to make it work somehow ,and yes i dont really recommend it .

My Makeup Go To’s/What I Use!
HEY HEYYYYY
I’ve always wanted to share my makeup go to’s in a blog of my own.... since I do  have my own log.... why not hehehehe
Just an fyi, I was never really into makeup UNTIL 2016. I would say it was mostly my mom who made me started wearing makeup. Like after I had prom in late 2015 I just thought why not? I only ever wore foundation and a nude lippie in early 2016 but only late 2016 and 2017 I’ve slowly progressed my makeup game!!!! Here’s a lil comparison below: the first is early 2016 and the second is like the middle of 2017,,
Tumblr media
Me.... with some foundation... and barely any lipstick??? circa early 2016
Tumblr media
Me now..... better foundation,,, highlight poppin and LIT LIPSTICK (and more stuff on my face too but due to sunlight you can’t see MUCH LOL) (keep reading there’s more)
I give creds to my uni friends too who helped me out with introducing stuff to me like contouring, using highlighters and shit like that. Without further or do let’s start!
The foundation that REALLY worked for me is Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation. Bought it from Sephora in Suria KLCC. It costs RM164 in Sephora and I got it in the shade Medium-Tan Honey. My past foundations made me look kind of blotchy-ish but I found this foundation and I just...... look somewhat natural lmao. Oil free and its true it lasts for 12 hours!!!! & has SPF15!!!!!! I go to uni with this foundation and I stay long hours there and yet my foundation is still presentable!!! Bitch!!!!!!! 10/10 product it’s worth it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next would be my Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder!!! i got the translucent one. This one is a popular one and it’s usually sold out in most stores in Malaysia!!! That’s how GOOD it is! It really sets your face perfectly. Luckily my mom pre ordered ours at a Laura Mercier outlet.... in Pavillion Shopping Mall I presume. From the looks of it Laura Mercier is out of Sephora so no price there but I searched up its $38.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next my contouring,,,, I use a bronzer jdskkjaskhj. I use Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer. Mom got this in Sephora. It fits most skin colors and personally like the color on me (pics at the end of this post). Its RM80 in Sephora.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next up is my very own blusher that I use since my mom doesn’t want it anymore! It’s the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush in Coral 3! Ya as you can see it looks pretty used up lmao but it’s a good color on me skin!! Its $30 and my mom most prob got it from a local Bobbi Brown outlet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
NOWWWW one of my few faves, is this amazing highlighter, ladies and gentlemen,,,, its the Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette. Got this at Sephora while I was in Sydney since Australian Sephora outlets sell Huda Beauty products and it costs 80 AUD. Me and my mom always wanted to try to get ourselves a highlighter palette and we ended up finding this! The one we got is the Golden Sands version btw. The Golden Sands version fits for medium to dark skin tones while lighter skin tones fit the other palette which is the Pink Sands palette.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can see in the second pic, the first one (Fiji), is actually a creamy base and you’re supposed to dab it on your face for sculpting. The second (Seychelles) is a powder base which basically sets Fiji. Tahiti can be used for contouring but tbh I rarely use it since I got the Benefit one. The last one (Zanzibar) is a mix of pink + some gold blusher which really fits this golden sands theme. I wear this all the time when I have outings and I am so happy with the product. Highly recommended!
I also have another palette to highlight my nose and chin, which is the 3CE (3 Concept Eyes) Magic Touch Facemaker. Mom got it from a local Sephora outlet and costs RM61. It comes with 2 powders which are Gold Beige and Brown. There are 2 types, the other has Pink Gold instead of Gold Beige! The Brown can also be used for contouring but I mostly used the Gold Beige to sculpt my nose and chin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now other fave part, lipsticks! Or basically, liquid lipsticks lmao. Let’s get into it:
Tumblr media
These the lippies I got (in early 2016, got more later tho lol) Only 2/3 shades are on this pic above are my go to’s/faves (Lolita II & #OBSESSED) which is (from top to bottom: Lolita II- 4th shade & #OBSESSED- 6th shade). I didn’t swatch Iconic sorry guys :((((
My most overused or my go-to lippie is the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II. Lolita II is described as a terra cotta nude! Bought it in Sephora Mid Valley (?) and costs RM99. I swear to god I almost regretted getting it even though I did like it when I first tried it in Sephora. It was just so bright for me,,,, probably because I’m so used to nudes that getting something like that is just... wild for me lol. However I started wearing it often and I realized how good I look in it, especially with my skin tone. Literally, everyone I know,,, are prob used to me wearing this lol. It’s quite matte unless you eat oily ass food then it might be a problem and you should bring the lipstick with you at all times. :x Either way, love the color and I too love the formula, so props for them!
Tumblr media
Next is Huda Beauty’s Liquid Matte Lipstick in Icon. I initially had the normal one but we also got the same shade in a mini version. It came as a bundle with 3 other shades which are called Gossip Gurl, Trophy Wife & Socialite. All of them are shades of pink and the bundle is called The Pink Edition Liquid Matte Minis. We bought it from Sephora while we were in Sydney too and it costs 59 AUD per bundle.
Tumblr media
I LOVE the color and I wear it on my good days but hoenestly it REALLY doesn’t last at all especially if you’re eating out. Once you eat something, a lot of the lipstick will be smudged off already. Once you use it you’ll realize how watery it is from typical liquid lipsticks. I know we should highlight the liquid part but still.... too liquid for me imo. Like it was so liquid to the point it dripped some on my leather MK bag..... tragic. I think that’s something that Huda Beauty should work on BUT HOWEVER I LOVE THE SHADE WHATSOEVER AND I’LL STILL WEAR IT EVEN THOUGH ITS QUALITY AIN’T SOOOO GREAT. But of course, that’s just my opinion.
THE LAST WOOOO, is a new fave actually. I’ve owned this for a while but I only used it recently and I LOVED IT SOOOOO MUCH. It’s the 3CE Liquid Lip Color in #OBSESSED. It’s a dark red shade basically. Bought it at Stylenanda in Gangnam I presume while I was in Seoul and it costs 18 USD. Click here to read up my adventures in Seoul in Day 1 hehhehehehehe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before I end this, here are some looks I’ve made with all the products above!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
YALL probably wonder why I didnt show any eyeshadow palette’s nor even a liner,,,, its bcs I haven’t exactly mastered it... yeah dont laugh pls....
I ONLY JUST LEARNT HOW TO HIGHLIGHT NOT LONG AGO BFHFDFJDS
So like...... if I ever get to learn,,, I’ll probs post abt the products soon... idk when.. .but sooon
THANK YOU SO MUCH READING THIS POST AND THIS BLOG LOL I TOTES APPRECIATE IT BEAR WITH MY WRITING IM TRYING MY BEST TO DO BETTER OK HSJHSGFHJSH
For now, goodbye! I plan to maybe make a post about movies or if I’m rajin enough.... do day 3 of seoul lols,,, ciao!

Finally, my most requested post is live! I didn't want to release it until I was completely happy with all the products I was using so I could comfortably recommend them to you all. This will be a lengthy post but I’ve included lots of images so you don't get too bored just reading. Grab yourself some snacks as you might be here awhile!
Please bear in mind that everyones skin is different, something that works well for me, may not work well for you. You have to experiment with different products to find the right one for YOUR skin. Anything I refer to is specific to my experience and my skin. All products are linked - just click on the product names :).
Feel free to ask me any questions regarding products or anything else! Enjoy ♥.
DAYTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE
Tumblr media
All of the above products are part of my current morning skincare routine, I rotate them around every other week but I like to remain quite consistent with certain products to give my skin time to get use to them. It also allows the product to be effective. I find changing products around too often can make skin worse and you’re less likely to learn what suits your skin type. If you don't have a skincare routine and you're looking for one, I highly recommend trying one or two products at a time (one cleanser, one exfoliator, one toner etc). This way you're more likely to find one that suits you, and if something is causing you to breakout it’ll be SO much easier to notice which product it was and stop using it.
A “typical” morning skincare routine may consist of: Cleanser Exfoliator Toner Eye Cream Serum/Oil Moisturiser SPF
You dont HAVE to follow this routine, everyone has their own style of routine and some people may feel this is too much or like me you may not have time for all of this everyday!
CLEANSERS
NIP+FAB - Glycolic Cleansing Fix
Tumblr media
I LOVE the NIP+FAB products so much and I’ve written a whole post on them here. I use this cleanser for those mornings when I still have traces of makeup on my face or when I have more time go through skincare steps (weekends mostly or my days off). This also helps fade away blemishes and really cleans the face well.
GARNIER - Pure Active 3 in 1
Tumblr media
This product was purchased purely on recommendation (@mary.s.khan)! Maryam has the most beautiful skin and she said she had been using this for years. I was quite skeptical as I’m not keen on 3in1 products as I find they don't work well in all that they claim however this has surprised me and I find its so convenient for those morning where my skin needs that extra step that I just don't have time for! This is a wash, scrub and mask! Pretty impressive, huh! The only thing that I dislike about this is the smell, its not terrible but its not appealing either. It works really well and leaves skin feeling super soft and refreshed.
EXFOLIATORS
Clean&Clear - Skin Brightening Daily Facial Scrub
Tumblr media
I have been using this product for the longest time! I always take a break from it after about 6 months of continuous use and then return to using it again. The reason I do this is because I feel if you use a product for too long it just stops being as effective as your skin gets use to it. Its such a gentle scrub so for me its more like a face wash than a scrub/exfoliator which is why its perfect for everyday use. I honestly don't have much time in the morning to complete a longggg skincare routine but I use this as much as I can and it makes me feel super awake and refreshed. I noticed it really did brighten my face over time, blemishes faded away and my skin looked so much more clear. The is one of my all time favourites and its so affordable. I will do a separate review on this if you’d like me to, let me know!
NIP+FAB - Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads
Tumblr media
These are great, especially if you're on the go or don't have much time in the morning. I usually use these after cleansing my face with the clean and clear mentioned above. Then while getting dressed or rushing around I use one of these cleansing pads! It will gently exfoliate your skin and contains glycolic acid which is great for those of you with pigmentation, uneven skin tone or acne prone skin.
TONER
La Roche-Posay - Serozinc
Tumblr media
Ive been wanting to try a new toner for ages and I saw this used by a lot of bloggers and mentioned on Instagram stories too. But then I saw it on Kaushal’s Insta live (@kaushalbeauty) and she spoke about how amazing it is. I HAD to purchase it, she is one of the sweetest most beautiful bloggers/youtubers, literally my favourite. Im so glad I got this, it sprays on perfectly with a generous amount but not drowning my face. It also dries really quickly too so you don't have to wait ages before applying the next product. Another lovely instagrammer (@zbeauty158) mentioned how she had gone through several bottles and had purchased backups after trying this because she loved it so much! Ive been using this for weeks now and would highly recommend this! OR empty rose water into a spray bottle to use as a toner!
EYECREAM
The Soapery - Organic, Unrefined, Raw Shea Butter
Tumblr media
So since Sophia (@phosbeauty) mentioned Shea butter I had been thinking of purchasing it. She did a whole Instagram story on it! And I'm pretty sure most people that follow her purchased this! She can convince you to buy anything. Obviously I had to purchase this..I have been also been using Shea Butter as an eye cream since Rehma (@rehmabeauty) mentioned it! Go check out her Instagram and her blog too where she mentions using Shea butter! It doesn't smell very nice as its raw :( it did put me off however I use the smallest amount for my under eyes as its SO moisturising. My concealer glides on like a dream after applying this first! It melts so easily as soon as you work it into your skin. If you have any small sample pots or old eye cream pots you can use these to fill up with shea butter like I have here!
MOISTURISERS
Lacura - Caviar Illumination Day Cream
Tumblr media
I have a separate post on this moisturiser here, but I have been using this for months now and absolutely love it! So many of you purchased this after I recommended it on my Insta, I hope you all love the cream as much as I do!
Charlotte Tilbury - Charlottes Magic Cream
Tumblr media
I have so many of these as my bestie works at CT and theyre honestly briliant. I do feel the full size pots are very over priced but you are getting what youre paying for. HOWEVER, there are just as great products in stores that cost way less. Lacura for example, is very luxurious without the hefty price tag and works just as well!
SPF
GARNIER - Ambre Solaire Face and Body Lotion
Tumblr media
Im not going to lie, im really bad with SPF! I know you skincare addicts are probably thinking OMG WHAT and you most likely want to tell me off! BUT i know, and its SO SO important to wear SPF. ESPECIALLY if you're using acids in your skincare routine but you should be wearing SPF regardless! I get really lazy and think if my moisturiser and foundation have SPF i can skip this step (oops). When I DO wear SPF I change them around, I have one from no7 and a few from other brands. This is the one Im currently using from Garnier. It sits really nicely on the skin and makeup applies well on top too without it looking a weird colour.
B. Confident - Hyaluronic Acid Spritz
Tumblr media
Ive been spraying this on my face before makeup and some days after makeup. I havent been using this religiously everyday as I was a little wary at first in case it broke me out! I have very sensitive skin but so far it has been OK. It is a little drying for the skin if used a lot but for the girls with oily skin this is great for you! The girls with dry skin, I wouldn't recommend this for you at all. It really does make your highlighter pop when sprayed on top! However I think I prefer the NYX setting sprays.
You’ll notice I haven't included a serum for my morning skincare, I honestly just don’t have time on a normal day to day basis as I’m ALWAYS in a rush! When I have time I use the serum which is included in my nighttime skincare routine below.
NIGHTTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE
Tumblr media
I spend more time on my skincare routine at night as Im not in a rush like I am in the mornings! Cleansing your skin at night is very important. Your skin will repair overnight whilst youre sleeping so these steps are JUST as important as your morning skincare. Everyones nighttime routine differs but mine typically consists of:
Cleanser (pre cleanse/cleanse) Exfoliator (acid) Toner Eye Cream Serum Moisturiser/Oil
CLEANSERS
Pre-Cleanse
Garnier - Micellar Water (Oil-infused Cleansing Water)
Tumblr media
Micellar water is great for removing makeup, especially eye makeup. Eyeliner can be very stubborn and I find this works perfectly using cotton pads. I remove my eye makeup first and then the rest of my makeup on my face too. I then go in with wipes.
Simple - Cleansing Wipes
Tumblr media
These are amazing! They are slightly more expensive then your standard wipes but my skin absolutely loves these. I use one wipe all over my face after micellar water and this removes any makeup I may have missed. These wipes are also great if you have breakouts. Simple is such a great brand for sensitive skin!
Cleanse
Lush - Ultraband Facial Cleanser
Tumblr media
You definitely need to be double cleansing if you have been wearing SPF and makeup all day. Just micellar water/wipes aren't enough and once you start double cleansing you'll notice why! I love Lush products and this cleanser has been amazing. It leaves my skin baby soft and so moisturised. Sometimes I don't want to apply anything on my face after using this as it feels so so soft! This product is so creamy and melts into the skin, after applying it all over my face I wipe away the cleanser with a damp face cloth. Ill be writing a separate review on this cleanser! Let me know if you've tried this.
EXFOLIATOR
NIP+FAB - Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads
Tumblr media
I use these pads twice a week maximum as they're VERY strong. But I feel like they're really effective for my skin. Full post on this here.
TONER
Ayumi - Rose Facial Toner enriched with Glycerin
Tumblr media
You can get this without the glycerin in too as just rose water which is great as a toner aswell. I have been using this for quite some time and I love how it leaves my skin feeling so plump and moisturised. The glycerin works as a humectant which is why it attracts more moisture onto the skin. So if you have dry skin this is great for you. Its also great for acne, wrinkles and fine lines.
EYECREAM
The Soapery - Organic, Unrefined, Raw Shea Butter
Tumblr media
Same as my morning skincare routine, I also use this at night! LOVE Shea Butter ♥.
SERUM
NIP+FAB - Dragons Blood Fix Plumping Serum
Tumblr media
One of my favourite serums, it will leave your skin feeling so plump! Review here.
MOISTURISER
Lacura - Caviar Illumination Night Cream
Tumblr media
You can read my thoughts on this here. I am still loving this cream, its nearly finished now :(.
OILS
Ayumi - Almond Oil & Castor Oil
Tumblr media
For the days my skin feels really dry or the days when I've had heavy makeup on from a photoshoot, I drench my skin in almond oil! And OMG, it feels and looks amazingggg in the morning. Try it, you'll love it! I also use castor oil at night on my eyebrows and eyelashes to help them grow and I've seen a big difference. You have to be patient! I made my brows way too thin once and used castor oil every night and they grew back so much quicker than I expected! I don't feel like it helps with thickness but it definitely helped with length. Almond oil is also great for your under eyes if you suffer from dark circles, but again, you need PATIENCE. It won't happen over night.
Hope you all enjoyed reading about my skincare routines! I was going to add the masks I have been using but its already so lengthy so that will have to be a separate post!
For everyone that managed to get this far, THANK YOU for reading ♥.

February Faves
Function of Beauty - I know this might seem gimmicky to some, I certainly thought so myself but I followed it for a bit and kept up with reviews. I dont make “resolutions” since I always think theyre super cheesy and lame. BUT since Id face some hardships over the last few years I thought Id...make one to start taking better care of myself. I frequently dye my hair so it’s really been quite damaged and most shampoos, even salon level many were not meeting all 5 of the things I need, just rather focuses on just the one thing. >[ I took the leap and got a smol set and it took a week or so to get to me which was fine. Ofc I got pink but I did give this a shot and I LOVE IT. I use very little to cover a lot of hair (its v long) and my hair felt AMAZING. I also follow wash once a week regimen to keep the color in a bit longer...and it was v soft, healthy, not oily for once and kept the scent even! I am VERY happy with these, I will be buying more in the future. { My Picture }  $ Is varying, depends on what you’re getting. Worth it? Yes.
My BKR - Another thing I was following and stalking for quite some time. Checking out the reviews and considering my resolution. Ive always been actively trying to drink my 8 cups of water a day. They are a bit on the pricier side but not only are they cute AS FUCK, but they ARE glass and much more environmentally friendly. No icky BPA and constantly recycling plastic bottles. Also, no irritating crunching of plastic bottles! I am ALWAYS reaching for this, I take it everywhere with me. I’m glad I jumped on this train honestly. { My Picture } $28 Worth it? Yes.
Burts Bees Peach+Willowbark Wipes - I use the grapefruit ones normally to remove my makeup, and I love those very much. But sometimes I have extra tough makeup and I need a good exfoliation without doing a mask or facial cleanser. These are wonderful and they smell amazing too. $6 Worth it? Yes.
ELF Cosmetics Daily Brush Cleaner - UM WHAT THE HECK. This was UNEXPECTEDLY amazing. So amazing, I’m embarrassed I got to it LATE! This lil bottle, yes its little, but DOES WONDERFUL at cleaning my brushes! And it smells very fresh and clean - leaves my brushes almost immediately dry so if I wanted to use them a while later in the same day I definitely could. I was using a gel soap that left my brushes with no scent (which was fine) but too damp to re-use in the same day, I had to go use other brushes if I needed to do another look. Not with this lil bottle! Omg SO glad I got to it. $3 Worth it? Yes.
Loreal Infallible Pro Glow (208) - So admittedly I was late getting to this one too and watching a lot of people use it and hearing such positive things I decided I’d give this a shot rather than running to ulta and grabbing another Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. Turns out, I’m super diggin’ on this. Easy to apply, easy to blend, easy to clean off my face and brushes. Despite the “glow” on the title, it will matte down which I like. They do have a matte version of this that I will try when I’m done with this for comparison’s sake but for now this is getting the job. $12 Worth it? Yes.
Lush Cosmetics Cupcake - Welp. Idek what to say about my obsession with Lush. I’m a hoe for Lush. Esp when free hah. Forever I was saying, and still am, that I was trying to steer away from products that were not self preserving but its free so why would I bitch? I knew its a damn good product, its always sold out and Ive heard and read all the reviews. So now, because I got 2, my boyfriends sister and I now have mask+tea nights. We have tried this mask twice and have discovered it is indeed everything everyone has hyped it up to be. We’re soft, exfoliated and smellin’ like chocolate. Only downside: our dog thought we were strangers and barked at us lmao. It is messy applying and while drying it flakes a bit - no biggie tho. $10 Worth it? Yes.
Lush Cosmetics Prince Charming - ITS PINK. OK. ITS PINK. Thats one of the biggest reasons why I got this. BECAUSE PINK. I love pink and its soap and it smells fresh and clean. Turns out, I love it like I knew I would. It is LE though, AFAIK so go grab it before its gone. P sure its a Valentines thing like some of their bath bombs. $10 - $35 Worth it? Yes.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm - Like Lush, I am a hoe for lip balms and butters. I have many, and cant stop. I love the aesthetic of this product as well as the scent (like cake!). Its application is smooth and definitely helped my poor lips overnight while I slept. I tend to wear these types of products most when I’m sleeping since I’m not eating or drinking things in my sleep so it does the most when its left alone. I generally wake up with nice fresh and healthy non-chapped or cracked lips. Its a p nice way to start the day honestly. $18 Worth it? Yes
Lush Cosmetics Rub Rub Rub - I got a sample of this recently and I actually REALLY love it. I don’t use this in the shower, but normally once or twice a day if I do both my face cleanser and my nightly mask. It makes my hands sooooo silky smooth I’m obsessed. I will absolutely get a pot of this! $22 Worth it? Yes.
Lush Cosmetics Rock Star Soap - Another sample piece that I had originally put aside to try at a later date, I decided I’d just try it and get it out of the way. Well, I accidentally fell in love with it. It smells amazing and makes my skin super soft, you know, like soap lol. $7.95 Worth it? Yes.
Oh Nos!
ELF Cosmetics Pink Diamonds Highlighter - Alright. Idk where this got effed up. I got this product because many people said it was amazing, including one of my faves, Jeffree Star. (FFS it won against a really expensive highlighter!!!) But when I tried it, it wasnt shit. Nothing! I tried with my fingers and 2 brushes! NOTHING!! Im ok with it being $4 so its not that big of a loss but like ??? Im let down lmao $4 Worth it? No.
