Kaeya feels sick.

A bitter taste is resting on his tongue. He doesn't know what it is. He doesn't really care much for it, anyway. All he knows is that he's scared.

It's a strange feeling. One he thought he had done off with by now.

But this fear is different. It churns in his stomach. His entire body shakes with every trembling breath as he realizes what he's feared the most has happened.

You don't want him.

Kaeya is aware you didn't say that, but it's implied. In your gaze, in the way you walk past him. You don't want him. You don't care for him.

You did, once. He remembers it clearly. Your control was brilliant. Like stars in the night sky. You kept him warm when the cold encroached too closely on his heart. You kept him safe from every dark, nasty thought.

With you, he was whole. With you, he did not drown himself in drink. With you, he was finally at peace.

And then you were ripped away from him. And now you're throwing him away.

It hurts more than he imagined, despite the fact that he knew it would happen eventually. He wants to tear at his skin until it peels off, wants to pull at his hair; he wants to grab his sword, stab something until it bleeds.

Kaeya knows he shouldn't. He should be strong for you. He should show you how capable he is. He should show you how deserving he is of your attention. He should show you that he is worthy of your light, of the warmth emanating from you.

Kaeya knows he should detest you. He shouldn't be desperate for your love, like some dog bereft of affection until you. He shouldn't be this close to kneeling and begging you, he shouldn't be this close to tears at the mere thought of never feeling your warmth again.

But he is. He swallows down the bile in his throat, and grabs his sword.

If he must prove himself to you, he will.

Whatever it takes. Whatever it entails.

If you demand him to throw himself into the flames, he will. If you order him to kneel and impale himself onto his sword, he will do so without hesitation.

All that he asks in return is a glimpse of you. All that he wants is for you to touch him, in whatever way you please. Hit him, slap him, take your foot and kick him in the stomach— it doesn't matter. As long as your eyes are on him. As long as he can feel you again.

Xiao has never been so close to screaming before.

It's unlike him. It is unlike your silent protector, your second shadow. He should be calm. He should be composed, ready to strike at any threat against you.

He shouldn't be like this, ready to throw himself in your lap and beg you to please look at him. Please love him. Please give him just a modicum of attention.

It's unbearable, claws scratching at his throat. Every second that goes by while he's aware that you think of him as unworthy is another spent in agony.

Xiao knows it's not his place to demand anything of you. He is not so arrogant as to believe he is in any way in a position to do so.

But it's difficult. It's difficult to keep himself calm and composed when he sees you touching another, so freely giving out what he so desperately desires. It's difficult to keep himself from piercing whoever is lucky enough to grab your attention for longer than a second. Jealousy wraps around his throat and squeezes.

It's not that you don't want them. You just don't want him.

What is it about him that you dislike? His clothes, his face, the way he stands? Do you find his lack of emotion distasteful; do you hate his silence, do you find how bashful he gets in your presence unpleasant?

Do you hate him? But you liked him once. You had used him, once. Loved him. What's different now?

Is he boring to you? Do you find him undeserving, now?

Then he must simply be interesting. He must simply prove himself to you.

He is deserving. He is worthy. He is. Why are you acting like he's nothing? Why are you acting like you don't care anymore?

Xiao feels betrayed. Bitter. But he can't stop the quiet tears from cascading down his cheeks, silent prayers of which you deign not to answer.

Whatever it is you want from him, he will give. If you desire for him to break his contract with Rex Lapis, he will see to it. If you want him to swear fealty only to you, he will do it. If you want him to turn his back on the people of Liyue, pick up his blade and taint himself ever further, he will do it.

If his death is what you wish, he will see it through. All that he asks is that in his final moments, that you please run your fingers through his hair.

Gorou can't stop himself from shaking.

You denied him again. He doesn't know what he did wrong.

He should be strong. Imposing. He shouldn't care about whether you want him or not as much as he does.

You're a God. You're his God. If you don't want him, then he will simply live his life in the background of yours. He doesn't need to be the one sitting by your feet, he doesn't need to be the one worshiping you directly— he doesn't, yet his heart still cracks when you turn away.

Gorou is aware that he isn't all that special to begin with. Not compared to some of your other worshipers. Archons bow at the bottom of your throne, and whisper threats at each other when you turn. The strongest of every nation kneel and do as you command without complaint.

He is merely a general of an island from Inazuma. To the people of Watatsumi, he is important— but to you? To God? He is nothing. What is he that you have not already seen before?

It's why he tries to stifle his feelings of bitterness and sadness.

You don't need him. He doesn't need you.

He doesn't, he tells himself, but tears still soak his pillows every night. His lips and ears still tremble when he sees you brushing your fingers through the hair of another. His grip on himself falters when he captures a glimpse of the love you so easily show to others.

Why not him? Why not him anymore?

What did he do to anger you? If you would tell him, he would fix it immediately. Some part of him you dislike? He'll change for you. You think his ears and tails are unsightly? He'll do his best to hide from from view. Or would you rather he get rid of them altogether?

He'll say yes, despite the tears in his eyes.

Is it how he breathes, is it how he carries himself, how he holds his bow? What is it? Why don't you like him?

Why don't you love him anymore?

Whatever it is, he can fix it. Gorou can change for you. He'll throw himself in the gutter until he's perfect for you. Until he's exactly how you want him to be.

You'll love him then, won't you?

so if a modern version of frank-n-furter, janet, columbia, and magenta from the rocky horror picture show formed a riot grrrl/rock/sometimes other genres girl(ish) band would that be crazy or what?

AU TIME YIPPEEEEE!! made this one with irl friend @hatsunerandal a while back and i’ve been meaning to post about it i just keep forgetting LMAO so yeah!! band au!!

this band is called the transsexual pussycats because. yeah.

we have everyone on vocals, janet on drums and guitar, frank also on drums and guitar (they switch which one does which (that was a lot of rhyming)), columbia on bass, and magenta also on guitar and keyboards :D

“don’t be cringe about it” NEVER. COLUMBIA IS SCENE NOW RAAAAHH 🦅🦅🦅🦅

janet’s style is just. lana del ray vinyl. and magentas goth and franks punk yaaay!!!

irl friend and i have put together a total of. 4 albums i think? and i am almost done with the fifth one! our process is just. find already existing songs, plop them in a playlist, and then write paragraphs about who sings what and who wrote what and what they wrote the songs about etc etc! quite a fun process if i do say so myself :3

albums 1, 3, and 4 were done by me, album 2 was done by irl friend!! their names are “mcpussy meal” (we almost named the band mcpussy but after i said “old mcpussy had a farm eieio” we changed our minds), “lord of the lesbian jellyfish”, “one girl, 69420 women”, “honestly,” and the fifth one which im not quite done with is “rose blood”!! we’re slaying with the names as u can see! the songs mostly stick to a rock/riot grrrl sound, but they can also do some more pop/hyperpop or electronic songs, and i felt REALLY silly and added a folk song to rose blood :3

now. u might be asking. where is the rest of the cast? what part do they play in this au? well!! for one thing columbia and eddie broke up (she’s with magenta now i love lesbians) and she has written at least one song about him per album 🫶 but other than that he’s out of the picture, along with pretty much everyone else…

EXCEPT FOR BRADLEY MAJORS.

i told my friend about brad in this au and they just said “brad def has groupie energy that 1000% works” and i think about that a lot LMAO he’s not actually a groupie he’s just their biggest fan ever even though he doesn’t even listen to their style of music. he attends every concert, has all the merch, is basically just so embarrassing about it i love him dearly. he’s also in a qpr with janet and dating frank yahoo!! i fucking LOVE the brad/janet dynamic in this au because all of her concert outfits are so slutty and so pink and after the shows and after hugging her aggressively he’s like “you’re wearing so little are you cold :( wear my jacket i don’t want you getting sick” and in one of the songs she is quite literally screaming her lungs out and im just imagining him watching that at a rehearsal and being like “Yay!! :-D” he’s the silliest ever actually

it’s also a canon event that the band got interviewed by that one guy with the hat who goes WHO ARE YOU i hope u know who im talking about if u don’t im so sorry that was so vague

1. These episodes were not as strong or as long as the first 3 but these writers are funny as hell (not sure if it’s intentional or just actually bad writing but it’s enjoyable🤡)

let me preface this by saying you did such an amazing job with this truly, you wrote so so well and i feel like you encapsulated every perfect emotion in the best way possible, and somehow it just gets better and better? i forgot how pt 1 went so i reread it before i read pt 2 and i was blown away again but youve even improved somehow ?!!? youre like the gift that keeps on giving 💋 also, thank you so so much for pushing through and writing this, i know it couldnt have been easy struggling with writers block but i hope u know we all think the world of this fic so please see the worth of your work 💗

ok now MY THOUGHTS!!! oh my lord, where to begin… first of all, same as before: from part one, i was already irked with jake when he pulled the beomgyu shit (albeit i moved on pretty damn fast surprisingly) but the cliffhanger you left us on was a game changer like he crossed the line so bad. i was conviced i would never forgive him. if someone did that to me i would have the exact same reaction as y/n tbh. anger later sad confusion panic first. and seeing the aftermath in part 2??? first of all, so glad she had such a good support system around her and people who actually put their morals first aka 02z bc u already know men irl would defend their “boys” first or whatever 🙄 hearing other girls gossip about her actually broke my heart cos if it was me i wouldve cried n had a panic attack there and then … and knowing my PARENTS know about it 😭😭😭

so the whole time i was writing this last part i had a hard time deciding if oc should forgive him or not because personally i would never be able to but i just felt that the only way for this story to wrap up well and in a satisfying way would be if it was a happy? ending so i ended up just going with that and yes one of the main things i wanted to show was that everyone was rooting for y/n so i made sure no one excused jake's behavior

the scene where she went back home was kind of tough to write like i totally get you i get really emotionally invested even when im writing and jfc just imagining how my parents would react literally had me going through it like her dad was devastated and i think it really shows to what extent one person's actions/mistakes can effect cause this shit not only broke her down but also most of those around her so those scenes were def tough to write

but i am so so so glad to hear how much you enjoyed the ending and overall this story! you seriously just relieved me of so many of my worries regarding this story and i always feel like the best compliment is when people tell me they'll reread my stuff so thank you so so much for sending me this ginormous message and hope I'll continue to produce stuff you like! love you loads 🫶 🫶 🫶

1 on 1 mark session recap! As always, sorry not a lot of context is given.

Mark first finished reading a book 'on thorns and their consequences' which was basically explaining how the sabbat came to be and their PoV on things and then with an anarch commentary towards the end expressing their disagreements. but on the first last page was red runic lettering which mark could not recognize and which sucked up his vitae when he placed it on it.

He tried to do some internet research and came across an obscure forum which claims to be for learning about obscure languages but actually seems to have a lot of vampires on it posting real and fake runes, kinda like testing each other

The runes mark was looking at were on there but the mod, who basically posts in every server, says 'you wont find anything about that in this life.' the posteris like 'cmon doesn't someone have any family who could help' and the mod replies 'ask J' so that smenacing.

idk if J is Julius? it probably isnt but anyway. mark has already reported reading this book to julius and so is gonna ask him about it cause he couldn't figure it out.

the rest of the night he spends teaching G -G is doing well and did remember his vowels : ) also explained to Gs sister how he made sure the investigation would stop and ask if she needed any other help. she asked if he could get them free or at least out of their current essentially prison sooner and mark said no but they would be out in a month to a month and a half. she didn't know how long that was. so he explained how torpor and weeks and months and years worked

she still didnt say thanks or bye to mark but there was maybe something where she was close to doing so

i love G im so glad he is doing well he learned a lot he is almost through the alphabet

ok now for the meat of the session. the next night he goes to the chantry to talk to cassidy about the books. Knocks on the door. no answer.

He is getting a bad feeling. represented irl by the ST playing absolutely terrifying music as i search for him.

In the chantry apartments there is an often ignored ghoul at the front and so then he asked her where Lilian’s apartment was (Cassidy’s best friend.). She told him. He knocked on her door. No answer.

Checks the cafeteria. nope. library. nope. physics department (where their circle head, Dr. White, is). Nope. He asks someone there if she had seen either of them. nope.

so i'm worried as hell

im trying to think what mark could do and im like. i cant scry on him cause i dont have anything of Cassidy’s.

and the st gives me a Look as if 2 say u do ur forgetting

But he kinda gives it to me for free hes like, ur wearing the same coat you did when you went to the movies

Turns out mark has cassidy's ticket. so thats close enough to being his so. mark does scry on him

its not super juicy but it is super concerning. Cassidy is by lilian in what is probably the side door in his haven that mark hasn’t been in. barricading the door. with a fuckton of furniture. and also pushing against it. lilian looks terrified. cassidy looks So Done With This Shit (tm). something is banging on the door.

so with that mark goes back to the ghoul and is like. So. Uhm. Yeah i actually have permission to enter cassidys haven yes. please let me in

she looks scared - mark put her in a real bad spot. If he doesn’t actually have permission and she lets him in he could get in trouble. but he reassures her that itis fine and his decision and nothing bad will happen.

so she says ok and goes to open the door (she is able to if she is doing so of her own consent, she functions as a key ig). As she goes to open it, Mark says uhm. they are doing experiments so when you open the door. back up. and she's like "okay?' and opens the door and immediately vine tentacle thingies burst out and she falls back on her ass and scrambles back, screaming

she gets away and mark engages in combat. its the same sort of monster, just smaller, as the one on his territory in the conservatory, that navigate by sound. it has a lion's mane around a beak in the center and vine like tentacles around it.

mark takes a LOT of damage in its first attack he had like 1 unharmed box left but he manages to win :)

cassidy and lilian pop out from the door and are like. mark is that you?

Cassidy’s haven is wreckt sadly. Mark's like. yeah its me. its dead. you can come out.

lilian is SO sad it's dead but she isnt mad at mark. its clear she wanted to subdue it but they had no way to do so and mark comments as such

she's like "i was sooo close " :(

cassidy looks So Done and is like. thank you for your assistance mark but how did you . get in.

mark is like. thats not really important right now, is it? cassidy says 'somewhat, but we can discuss that later'

mark says that unfortunately this made quite a lot of noise and the ghoul went screaming for help so time to get your stories straight.

theres a few other things said but then zach rolls up

If you dont know who zach is he is a newly turned tremere. dr. white's child. elevated into power due to his sire. he's a classic skater boy. hes head of security. he figured ALL of marks shit out when he broke into a lab - he is GOOD at his job despite his casual attitude. he says 'chill' all the time.

he skates up (yes skateboard in the hall) and asks whats up. mark says 'hi zach. it's chill, i handled it.' (Mark kinda likes Zach).

And hes like. 'whats chill? can you explain?' and marks like. looks at cassidy and lilian. 'they would know better i just came at the end' and cassidy’s like. looks at lilian as if to say to her. u did this shit u explain!

so lilian starts a story which is kind of obviously partially a lie.

she says that she was doing her research, developing off of Leanah's (which was the stuff mark uhm. stole and sabotaged for her). and she noticed this evening that some things were off. papers where she wouldn't normally leave them. but the chimera project was So Important (TM) for the chantry that she just HAD to press on. Oh Also I found this Lipstick (produces lipstick) that looks JUST like what Leeanah wears isnt that interesting! (zach has her put it in an evidence back for him). She says 'Cassidy even made a joke that maybe I should wear makeup more often." Cassidy grunts but keeps a poker face. he would obviously Never Fucking Say That and lilian is messing with him.

god i love them sm. mark also knows cassidy would never fucking make that joke

(explaining a story that may dictate ur fate as u are investigated. does not miss an opportunity to fuck w the bestie* girl!

she continues to say that she got the embryo (described as tadpole) out of the cauldron she starts growing it. and it kept well. growing.

she pauses there. zach is like. okay and? it grows and?

Cassidy steps in. 'when it got bigger than our couch we realized we had a problem.' (also hehe ‘our’ couch their friendship is everything 2 me…)

lilians like yes. then thankfully cassidy, with some assistance from mark, killed it. and here we are :) and then zach turns to mark and is like. what do you mean how did you get here how did you know.

and marks like Oh Well You Know "I was coming here for unrelated reasons, cassidy and myself are working together you see. And I had permission to enter. And obviously I would assist him in combat. *Coughs.*

he coughs cause i rolled 1 success on the lie T_T

zach is like. you have permission?? and cassidys like uh yes. 'as needed he can enter. its easier that way' so yay that ghoul won't get in trouble LOLLL mark got retroactive permission

even if each can tell he lied like. how do u call him on that when the person who was to have given him that permission said he did.

Liliana finishes up by describing how awful it was to be sabotage. At the end of her story. she says "Im sure leeanah would be very sorry if she saw the destruction she caused and would say so' and cassidy said 'i would not accept her apology' annnddd thiswent over my head but the st explained that was lilian apologizing to cassidy and cassidy telling her to fuck offlkdsafjlkdsjf

and zachs like. aight seems chill! (Perhaps all was not chill). lemme go in your haven here to see evidence of that sabotage

and cassidys like oh, please do let me clean up first :) and zachs like :) noo you should see my room haha its fine :) and then cassidsy like. okay fine. you do not have permission to enter my haven. which is something respected in the chantry

zachs like do u really wanna go down that route.

Cassidy appears to hesitate. Mark is FREAKINGGG out he CANNOOTTTT find those books mark had him gather. thankfully cassidy says. Yes. Yes I do.

And so zach says fine thats chill. ill see you soon- and he has one of his guys (he had a small posse with him) stay. cassidys like. well that was a mess. mark says yes. which is why you should start cleaning it. do you want help.

The person Zach left behind enters cassidys room and was making sure the pc was ok. mark is like cassidy is that ok?? and cassidy says 'oh, hes chill.' It seems this was the little fucker that set up the pc and internet for cassidy in the first place! cassidy makes friends with fledglings :) he doesn't speak but cassidy calls him Hack. because that's what he does, ig

Anyway. Mark helps lilian gather monster body parts to the center of the room where she starts some sort of chanting incantation to get rid of it. cassidy goes into his Side Room to start cleaning. When mark is done gathering body parts he knocks and peeks into the side hallway. cassidy tells him to enter and mark starts helping him put books away

well first theres this hallway which has 2 doors. mark enters door two with cassidy.

its a beautiful study room with mostly books, but also some old clothes, including a duster (COWBOY CASSIDY REAL...) and a painting with someone in a cuirass but the face is oddly blurry

also, all the books do not have legible titles.

with sense the unseen it seems the chandelier in the room has some sort of enchantment blurring those things out

there is also a TALL ASS stack of those notebooks he writes in. Mark glances at it and looks at cassidy who pauses and says. i need to call in a favor. can you just keep packing books away for 10 mins ? and marks like Sure

and hes left alone in cassidys study. but he decides to NOT snoop and figures he wouldnt be able to read shit anwyay due to that enchantment so he does literally just put books away.

Cassidy returns and unfolds a piece of paper that he remembers Wendy using before - its like. a bag of holding.

he unfolds it and puts it under the stack of notebooks carefully . the note books fall in. then he carefully, very very very carefully, folds it up. mark comments 'got a few years in there, huh?" he replies "A good deal more than that.".

but yeah theres also furniture and stuff everywhere btw, its a mess. The pack up books. During this time mark asked like. ok we cant keep these books about resisting blood bonds in her haven. and Cassidy is like. really mark. you're gonna make me haul them from the library every time ur gonna read them, and mark is like. sorry. yeah : )

They finish and return to the mainroom. lilian is on the floor, hands splayed, miserable. done with everything. cassidy makes a point to step over her.

cassidy and mark hauled books up to lillian's haven which was much smaller. and complained about stairs. together <3 lol

When they return hack is no where to be found. cassidy looks around and comments that the should not be in the back rooms. he does open the door to the second room but he asks mark to step back so he cant see in : (anyway mark ends up finding zach with sense the unseen (he went Invisible ig) and he was rifling upstairs through lillian's things

cassidy is like 'hack ive been through enough tonight please just give it back' and hack goes to the computer and types:

I have to give them something, y''no"

and cassidy is like. sigh. will this make our unlives harder in the future. and he writes

"maybe a little"

and marks says “you know what that's fair” <- has done the same shit of finding something Smaller so it proves he was Trying but actually not

cassidy comments that he is sad about his clothes getting thrown around and wrecked - 'over the decades he had collected quite a collection, some of which are hard if not impossible to replace' and mark comments 'i hope the tv is ok too'

and upon saying that cassidy actually reacts as opposed to being stone faced "Oh no you're right, the tv!" and he goes right for it

drops to his knees to prop it back up. and theres a crack through a fourth of it. he looks so sad. mark turns it on and it does still display but there is that crack

mark is like its ok we can get another and cassidy is like ' but this was my first tv :('. hes sentimental about it my fucking HEART

marks like. im sorry. i can help you pick out a new one maybe. cassidy says he'll likely take mark up on that. and mark also says maybe it could be fixed and cassidy says he will also try that

but yeah its cute that he got attached to the tv T_T (edited)

anyway zach skates right back in after the bit with hack that i described above. and says. ok in the name of the authority invested in me by blah blah blah... everyone but you, get out please! (hack being that one)

sooo the three leave. And mark is like.well. good luck with everything.

Cassidy and lilian do not look very happy but give ike a half hearted thanks

mark is lowkey like. ok u could be a bit more thankful i saved ur ass and helped u clean up but OKAy . . . .

cassidy also mentions that they can still work on their shared research in a few nights

oh also mark finally got the opportunity to ask if they had showers and they do not and mark is like. wow that sucks.

Cassidy diddnt seem to care but like. dude. imagine only having washrooms. L.

im just gonna very casually read thru the rst of the fic again cause i simply love the writing style in this and i have creative writing hostel championship coming up so. uk. i would really like to write as well as you

Baby!! I had so much fun with the dream scenes honestly!! I felt so evil writing it but it was so so satisfying (summary of this whole chapter honestly). My aim with those slightly wrong things was that you wouldn't quite be able to tell if it was just Obi-Wan's unreliable narration at work (especially because he often has moments where he's caught up in something and "doesn't quite remember"/"didn't realize" something happened), or if there was actually something wrong! I also thought about having the whole dream sequence in italics, but I wanted the reader to take Obi-Wan's introspection about not being an alpha seriously.

And the repetition of things which happened in the dream, but slightly different… idk what drove me to do that, but I'm soooo happy I did. I think it adds so much flavor in showing how Obi-Wan perceives the world (or how he fears it to be) vs. how it actually is!

Ahhh the concept of Obi-Wan openly being the first omega ruler from the beginning! He would have come out sooo much less depressed 🥺🥺 (But maybe, in some ways, more stern? He has to show that he's not soft just because he's an omega, after all!) I love to think that in an AU like this, Stewjon and Tatooine still needed that mutual help so they went to make an alliance. But since there's no immediate candidate that's obvious for marriage, Tatooine doesn't write anything about marriage in their terms, hoping it will pass under the radar (it does). They settle instead on a sort of cultural exchange where Anakin will come spend some time in Jedha and then later Obi-Wan will go and visit Mos Espa. And hey, two omegas in positions of power… working closely together…. Obi-Wan gets to be Anakin's friend without jumping through all the hoops. Anakin gets to learn all about Obi-Wan's secret dreams of marriage. And then Obi-Wan's heat rolls around, and Anakin offers to help, and-- Well, the rest is history!

The grade of suppressants Obi-Wan is taking are only meant to be used in the short term (a few years, with medically scheduled heats once or twice a year) in cases where it's not safe for an omega to be having heats. Otherwise, he should be taking regular-strength suppressants (with that same caveat of medically scheduled heats once or twice a year, along with a full detox every five or so years).

But uh. He's been taking them for twenty years. One medical heat a year, to mimic an alpha's biorhythm. No detoxes. It's a wonder his suppressants hadn't failed up until this point already. On top of all that is the new stimulation that he's getting from Anakin, which has his body trying to react like an omega (like Anakin's mate!!) and so it's also actively fighting through the suppressants rn. They're definitely failing, but they're failing slowly enough that he hasn't noticed. ((Also the idea that they'd fail is so inconceivable to him…. he's definitely not a doctor, lol))

I get you on the jealousy honestly I would HATE if someone did that irl but I'm such a fucking sucker for it in fiction. Anakin will cool down about it once he feels more secure, but I feel like it's necessary for his character to go through that development rather than being chill about Luminara from the get-go.

"poor baby had all his childhood dreams broken like sugar glass" LITERALLY 😭😭 I wrote a post a while back about how Obi-Wan didn't want to tell Anakin about his designation yet because he was too afraid of losing him. But now (he thinks) he's lost Anakin already!!

Luckily, Anakin will convince him that he wants to stay. So yes I'm putting Obi-Wan through the horrors, but. Ultimately it's so that he can heal and move on

And I'm so happy you like my writing style, I think it's really grown into itself (and grown on me, too) over the course of the fic! Good luck on your writing competition -- I'm sure you'll do well 💖💖

It’s that time again to review the latest chapter of hunter x hunter

Buckle Up! The Black Whale is a bumpy ride! (Spoilers)

Ooh boy oh man well we’ve yet again gotten MORE piles of information plastered on to a million layer information pile. I can’t wait to decipher more of it /hj.

It reminds me of those duct tape balls or whatever they are that people like cut and then it goes crazy... if that made no sense to you, sorry lol

Back to the old guy and Hinrigh

I was so confused at this point and right at the beginning of the chapter too :sob:

So let’s do a little review.

In chapter 393, they were looking for the room because if there was a wall there, it would have revealed them to have a hideout, them being the Heil-Ly, and they were looking for a Corporal...

The corporal they had, though, knew this, and was the one to show them this because Hinrigh and ... err... Cha-R underboss (I still forgot his name) ... had both paid him to.

Then they found this old guy, who is obviously suspicious and I am guessing had an ability to take over people’s bodies but not be there themselves.

He definitely has something to do with the Heil-Ly family, but I’m not sure if his ability is given from Morena, because he said he had a history of this kind of thing... Not sure if he was just saying something to be strange, though.

I’m still confused about the corporal they’re looking for.. I skimmed through the last chapters but couldn’t find anything that made sense to me.

Oh well,

It seems that the whole room was a trap, and only people come through to the Heil-Ly, not objects.

Rest in peace this guy. He lived for like 3 seconds.

The Heil-Ly are just spawning random teleportation points for their members to get levels quickly by immediately killing whoever steps through. Quite a dark way to put it, but they’re basically XP farming

Also, how do they know they’ve reached another level??? Does it just tell them in their mind? Do they feel a weird level up sensation?

What are these side-notes :sob: “Ty, Mad Jelly, OHHH NOOO”

It might just be the translation, though... Some are weird like that (I won’t ever forget “What’s that? What the hell going on here?!”)

394 hasn’t come out yet on viz, so. I’m surprised. I thought that after 391 they would make you pay for them? urr... Oh well.

Oh boy oh boy here’s the new characters I live them. They’re Tserriednich’s soldiers, and as stated before, they’re going against Morena now because Tserriednich is now. They’re so interesting...

Mm now were getting into the significance of nicknames as well. “Tserri”

This guy, Otoshin, is really smart but also very dumb.

Oh boy, if he really is going to be placed in the front line, does that mean he’ll be extra exposed and be the (possibly first out of several) guard to be captured..?

His first couple of panels are gender I’m leaving I can’t do this anymore Togashi.

Is this the corporal that they were looking for? Hm. It’s my best guess, but I’m not sure which side he’s on though, and why he would be in the hide-out... or was a corporal missing and they were looking for them? I am lost on this.. but I’m going for that it’s this corporal (Corporal Gipper, apparently).

Also she is very pretty I’m getting up and leaving again.

Time for another load of info,

Mmm... So they found a body of a Cha-R member in the Heil-Ly when clearing it through. The room was already looked through, so that means they purposefully looked over the body. They being the police and army.

This guy then brings up the HA (Hunter Association) and explains that they wouldn’t let something like this slide. He says that it could lead to HA distrusting Kakin and their forces, and there being even more disputes.

The lady (I love her hair) brings up the HA’s specific jobs (Guarding princes (oh hello Giuliano, hi there.), and supporting tier 3), and doubts that they would get involved in the mafia.

This guy counters that with talking about more about the hunter association, in particular the bodyguards.

If the bodyguards find out that the mafia has blood ties with their princes, they will view them as competitors, and want to protect their princes against the illegitimates.

Nobody else would have a problem with that, since basically everybody else may or may not be after the mafia, there could be a war brought between the Mafia and the Kakin Empire.

The Heil-Ly wants to bring about this unbalance, so they’d be getting what they want by this happening.

Phew. I think that explains this whole page.

I live them .......

They all seem to have a relationship with the Prince, or rather, had. Tserriednich lore moment! Given that Otoshin apparently didn’t get shot at when he called him out, I would say that he was probably the closest to him.

Oh my. That would make it even worse then if Morena used Contagion on him.

Anyways.

Oh man look at those sillies... I sure hope that I don’t become emotionally invested in them.

I forking love this whole page... The last panel is such an amazing drop, too with the visual of the callback to when he shot that one guy.

Awtic snatched up Ran in his hands as he heard the yelling of his parents, the borrower yelped “awtic put me downnnn!” Ran shouted, as he hit his fists down on Awtics tight grip, awtic heard his dad screaming, as the door was about to creak open, awtics thoughts raced around his mind, his tail curling around his leg, he wondered what his parents would do to his wonderful little goat if they found out about him, or found out that awtic cared for him.. he knew they liked to take things away from him, especially things he enjoyed, last year it was his phone, no more online friends they said.. but awtic had no irl ones- and now he had two!!… but- he might not soon if he didn’t do something, all this raced through his head in a matter of seconds. He had to hide Ran and quickly!!… his dad opened the door and awtic shoved the screaming goat hybrid into his blue maw- shutting it just as quick as it had opened, his dad looked puzzled, as he gruffly slammed the door behind him “awtic. What did I tell you about not doing your chores.” He said sternly. Awtic knew he had to say something, and Ran.. was calm- at the moment? He seemed to understand right!!? Awtic thought, so he gulped heavily, and just in one swift loud glk~ Ran slid down his throat, getting squeezed and shoved, he made a fearful noise, not expecting this, and as any borrower would he started to struggle and scream “A-AWTIC!!!… PLEASE!!? DONT DO THIS!!! I DONT U-UNDERSTAND JUST PLEASE IM SORRY FOR WHATEVER I DID!!” He screeched as a little sob wracked his body, awtic replied shakily to his dad, ears down after hearing Rans crys, last thing he wanted was to scare the one and only person he loved. “Y-Yea s-s-sorry dad I’ll get on that..” his dad stared and nodded “good. Get to it.” He slammed the door behind him once again, just as awtic felt Ran fill up his belly, he also felt Ran cry, each little shaky sob making the organ move, he didn’t know what to say or how to apologize.. he just softly put a hand to his stomach and gently pushed inward “h-hey hey… it’s ok… shhhh.. shhhhh” he rubbed soft circles into the little bulge in his gut, he couldn’t let Ran out just yet, he had chores to do, but once he was done he planned to give Ran so many snuggles!.. the little borrower put his hand to the wall and whines, clearly not believing awtic at all, he sniffled.

so much is happening i want to scream:(

the way my job gives me so much anxiety it's not even funny. that place is a fucking disaster. i get told im going to be part time and im out here working 40hrs a week, and i dont even get my second break usually like im supposed to. there aren't enough people in the department i work in and they pull people from it for other departments anyway. one of our team leads basically told us all our sections looked like shit tonight and he was going to walk us though it and make us tell him everything we did wrong. i was stuck somewhere else for most of my shift and couldn't work on my section, so when i tell you i was so scared dude you don't even fucking know lmao i literally cried because I'm still new and i didn't want them to think i did a bad job or im not cut out for it or whatever. and he never even showed up. he said it to "scare us into doing our work" and im so mad about it. i almost threw up for that ??

im so fucking tired and dehydrated and it's so hot in there i barely even eat on my lunch break and when i get home after my 8hr shift. i can't tell if im losing weight (unhealthy obvi) or if i have looked like this and didn't know lol so i just try not to look at myself if i can help it bc what.

i never really know what i look like, but when i do, it's ugly and i hate it.

also im working on moving into an apartment (i say 'me' but im not alone sgsksh) idk living is hard yk it's a lot and it's stupid and where my stuff is im not even staying bc sarah is a fucking bitch for no reason and i will hurt her feelings if she looks at me so yeah there's like so much shit happening and I'm so overwhelmed like hello i can actually only do so much pls why

anyways i am really tired and i want to cry and sleep forever and ever:( is this what happens when you keep things 'bottled up' lol

omg also? i haven't gotten my period yet like since April and im 🥴🤨 bc where is she yk and then im like babe you're literally a ball of fucking stress and anxiety please take a Xanax but back to stress im so worried i will get my period on my 8hr shift with nothing and i don't drive myself so that is like extra fun yk wow
