You've spoken over each other for hours, and you hear the raise in his voice as he insists upon his own agency, putting it over yours. "Do you think you're better than everyone? Is that it—?"

He's taken aback by your drawn conclusion. "—What? No—"

Pressing on, your harden your heart to push through your next words, as he appears like he's trying to tune them out, "—What does that say about your self-worth, Peter—?"

"That's enough!"

Your eyes widen as you recoil. The first time you've heard him yell. And it's at you. Immediately you're quieted, you're pliant. Breathing hard you stare at each other, and you note the crease in his brows.

As Peter often does, he tries to backtrack on his show of humanity. "I— I didn't mean—"

Weakly, you whimper, "Shut up, Parker." He swallows hard. There's an electricity in the air, a new kind of palpable tension that's replaced the old one with something far more scary. You glance at each other's lips, and you're both unsure it's what the other wants. Anger melts away as you meet in the middle, colliding with each other as you capture mouths. He stoops, signaling for you to jump into his arms, and you wrap your legs around his waist.

"I'm sorry—" he whispers against your lips.

"Shut up, Parker." you reiterate.

After her and that clown broke up and she's gotten with Ivy, she's nicer, but still bad."

"Master Bruce gave me the slip, gentlemen. However, he has instructed me to not say a word until he and Selina arrive from their outing." Damian rolled his eyes. "Why do we always have to wait? We've been waiting since we found out (Y/N) was pregnant and then we had to wait two more weeks because they're always away!"

"That could've been avoided if you didn't give me the sheet of paper, Damian." Bruce entered the living room with Selina by his side. "You feeling okay, (Y/N)?" You nodded. "Thanks Bruce. If anything, I'll send Dick to get me what I need." Jason snorted. "Walk him like a dog, (Y/N)!" All of you laughed and Bruce shook his head. "Well, since Selina, Alfred and I know the gender, I want to know what you all think?"

"Boy," the boys said in unison and you gasp at Dick. "Really?" He chuckled. "Yeah! Even if our baby isn't a boy, I'll love them anyway." You rolled your eyes. "Well, I don't care. As long as they're healthy, that's the only thing that matters to me." Bruce gives you a small smile. "That's good. Anyway, the boys are wrong. It's a girl." Well written female characters in Lookism? Uhh...

When the bar is at an all time low, it's really not hard to step over it.

At this point, I've been pavloved to think that any female character that expresses a personality trait other than 'simp' is pretty good. Simp is fun when it's part of a list of characteristics (Zack, Ryuhei). Not so much when it's the only thing.

Long live PTJ, the greatest feminist. Anyway.

Female characters I like

Mary Kim

Love her. Empress of 2 seconds. Queen of my heart.

Surprisingly kept a platonic relationship with Vin Jin, showing quite a healthy mixed gender friendship. Sassy and smart. Loyal. Good taste in men (Jace). Is shown having a life and interests outside of a man.

On my hands and knees praying that PTJ doesn't ruin her. Kinda glad she hasn't appeared in a while so she is kept away from his incessant need to turn everyone into a love interest.

Lua Im

Once we got over the odd Johan panels, which I heard the Korean audience didn't like and I'm quite happy about, she's fine. And it's not that I care that much about Johan staying a single dog-dad, I just needed a coherent reasoning/build up why they would be interested in one another.

Lua has potential.

Sourcing intel, even impressing the likes of Gun? A little Muay Thai knowledge? Jake and Jerry scared of her? Lol. Ok. Good. Let's build on this.

Sorry anon, I think 'really well written' is a bit of a reach... She does have some decent character development, starting as quite a flighty, shallow girl and then showing that she has a heart of gold, liking both Daniels and. Huh.

Wait. You're right. She is pretty well written. She's selfless and kind and loyal to her friends, putting up with Logan's bullshit. There's enough of a character arc for her from the Zoe we're introduced to at first.

And I do like that she's good at maths too.

this is a rant, vent, jumble of words im feeling and need to get it out of my system because im a little done

please scroll along if you dont wanna read, or dont, i dont control you

it never ceases to amaze me just how cruel people in fandoms can be. cruel, mean, hyprocritical, straight up dumb.

dont get me wrong, these people are a minority. i have found myself amongst the best sort of people in fandoms i am a part of and couldnt be happier for the friendships i have made from them.

but this incredibly loud minority piss me off to no end. i stay away from any sort of discourse, silently watching from the background and watch thing blow up over trivial matters, and then learn who to avoid in those circles and move on with my life

but when i see, what i consider to be blatant bullying, to someone i hold dear, i dont want to be quiet anymore. im not a loud figure, im a tiny blog that loves to simp over 2d characters, a tiny stream channel that i interact with like minded people. and i mean i am TINY, im barely a blip on this wide web. so anything i say, it doesnt go anywhere, so still, i stay silent until i cant anymore.

so lets get to the crux of the matter.

if you dont like a character, you dont get to make others feel bad about liking them. i dont care if you think they are problematic, if you dont like their story, their look, or simply the fact that they exist

you dont get to make someone feel bad for finding a connection with them and loving them

you dont get to attack them about liking the character, passively or aggressively, you dont get to make fun of them and any of the work they do around them. you have no right to take it upon yourself and make someone feel like they dont belong just because they like a character that you dont

if you dont like the character, dont fucking interact, its that bloody simple. scroll away. mute the tag, mute the channel, whatever. just walk away

interacting with someones content for the pure purpose to make fun of it is cruel. you are making it public that you want to demean the person for what they enjoy. and the worst thing is, if you catch the attention of the younger audience, they learn that they get to act that way, and this kind of online activity only gets worse

it already has gotten worse. man, im a millenial and i thought keyboard warriors when i was in highschool and older where bad. these days the younger generation feel justified to think that they can say whatever they want and suffer no consequences of those actions. i see it in so many fandom discourses. its horrible

but they learn from the worst of us on the internet. the more they see the cruel interactions, the more they think its okay to act that way. and without a doubt, fandoms will end up being incredibly toxic environments that people wont feel comfortable to exist in anymore.

every fandom has a toxic space, its unfortunate but it is true. i wish it wasnt

and the smaller the fandom, the louder this toxic group is

it just fucking sucks. and watching people i care about be treated so badly hurts because all i can do is be their support. an ear, a shoulder, just someone they can vent to. but it doesnt stop the fact that they got hurt and i cant do anything about it

god i dont even know what this even turned into. im tired, im upset, im just so frustrated.

why cant people just be nice?

if you managed to read all the way down here, man i applaud you. that was a great mess of thoughts, i still have many more but at this point i feel like i would be repeating myself

please, just. be kind guys. its not that hard, i swear it

to all my moots, honestly, i love you guys. seeing all your work and love you put into your creations gives me life and brightens my day. dont ever stop loving your craft and your fav characters just because someone decided to be a prick.

look im so mad about the fact that there’s no montage of them being silly little kids and having fun at arcade games. It hits so hard since percy has never afforded to visit fun places, annabeth has never left camp so is absolutely thriving with her architect games, grover is hunting down humans which was so funny and cool and they decided to make it more serious and plot centred

”ill take percy this way” WHY CAN’T GROVER TAKE PERCY THAT WAY HUH ANNABETH? 🤨 (girl just say you want to spend time with him)(and disney say you just wanna write more percabeth scenes)

I love the ‘if you dont know, i dont know either 😄’ mentality that percy has, he knows annabeth wants to be in charge now so he’s just feeding into the hubris

The augustus plot was so weird ngl but it was a great way to introduce the pan stuff

he loves u anytime, any day, no matter the circumstance

you had just finished devouring two pizzas together while binge watching your show together

you did get food babies sometimes, but only when you ate big portions, which wasn't that often (mainly on dates bcs this boy makes sure you're happy and healthy)

you became insecure sometimes, but others you would just look in the mirror and love how perfectly round it was <3

Kirishima and you were sitting on his bed, empty pizza boxes on the floor, waiting for what seemed like THE longest commercial break to end.

Your stomach didn't hurt, but you felt the bloating feeling, like you knew you officially had a food baby

Kirishima got up and walked to the bathroom (just pretend the dorms have their own bathrooms) "Holy shit, babe! Look at this, hehe." He chuckled.

You walked into his bathroom to see his shirt held up, with a little belly bump hanging out.

"Shut up!" You smiled and poked his stomach, hard as a rock. (hehe get it)

"Lemme see yours." He touched the bottom of your (his) oversized sweatshirt. You lightly touched his hand and let out an airy laugh.

"What?" He asked, "Does your stomach hurt? I can get you some Tums-"

"Nono, Kiri it doesn't hurt, I just sometimes don't like how my stomach looks after a big meal."

He cocked an eyebrow, "Why? Food babies are adorable! Please?"

You gave in and slowly raised the shirt to reveal your belly.

It wasn't too big, compared to like Thanksgiving Day or Christmas.

He let out a big toothy grin, "It's so cute!" He stood behind you and slinked his arms around your slightly expanded waist.

"Really? I always thought it looked weird." You leaned against him.

"No, are you crazy?" He kissed your head. "You're beautiful, no matter how your body looks, now or ever."

"Thank you." You giggled and lifted his shirt again. "Bro, even your food baby has abs."

Bakugou

no excuses, you cannot feel insecure around him

I mean like he is such a simp for you, it's literally HARD to feel insecure sometimes

But even Dynamite can't stop anxiety sometimes

You just lost your pet, the one you had to leave at home when you moved into the dorms.

The one who got you through grade, middle, and part of your 1st year of high school.

And you had chowed down on some sushi and ice cream, crying and scrolling through your pictures with your late pet (which i don't blame you)

Bakugou had gone out to go grocery shopping (bcs he wanted to surprise you with your fav meal that night)

While scrolling on your phone and emptying the ice cream carton, a text popped up from him

"Hey babe, I'm otw back to the dorms u want me to pick up anything?"

"No, im good thx"

You quickly got up and tried to pull yourself together as much as you could.

You threw away the sushi container and ice cream carton and looked into your full body mirror.

Your tank top and sweatpants outlined your bloated stomach and you turned to the side in disgust

Fluffing your hair, you put on a sweater and laid back down on your bed just as your boyfriend came through your dorm entrance.

"Hey- are you okay y/n? What the hell happened?" You could see the worry on his face.

Putting on a fake smile, you looked at him in his crimson eyes, "Nothing, why?"

"Because your mascara is smeared."

Shit, I thought it was waterproof.

He sat beside you on your bed and wrapped an arm around you.

"P/N died earlier today, and I ate a lot of food and I feel gross."

"Do you feel nauseous?" He asked.

"No."

"Then why do you feel gross?"

"Because of this." You stood up and lifted your sweatshirt to reveal your food baby.

"What?" He geniunely looked confused.

"Do you not see how bloated I am?"

"I mean, I do, but that's why you feel gross? Because of your body's natural reaction to eating? That's fucking ridiculous, you still look hot." You slightly blushed and put your sweatshirt down.

"C'mere." He pulled you into his lap and put his hands on your tummy. "I think it's cute anyway." He kissed your cheek, "How about, we get you some water and have a sleepover in your dorm. In the morning, if you're hungry, I'll make you your favorite breakfast."

"Okay, thank you Katsuki."

Todoroki

he loves food as much as you do, honestly

you both have the occasional big meal together

he doesn't really get food babies but he's seen you with one before, and it didn't bother him at all

if anything, he loved the thought that you were nourished and happy :)

but, you and him just d.e.v.o.u.r.e.d. one of Sato's cakes

sitting on the edge of his bed, waiting for him to finish showering, you continued to sip your bubble tea.

you got up to look at yourself in the mirror, because we can all be narcissistic at some point

and you saw it, quite the food baby staring back at you

"wow wowie wow." you mumbled out loud.

you already had on a big tshirt and sweatpants, but you still felt kinda bad

you just sat back down on Shoto's bed and scrolled on your phone

he came out a few minutes later in boxers and sweatpants, hair still damp

you looked up at him and admired the sight before you

"I'm back, can we cuddle now?" (i love how blunt he is)

"Yeah sure." You put your phone down on the nightstand and waited for him to lie down.

He spooned you and felt your tummy

"Are you okay?"

"What do you mean?" You asked.

"Your stomach feels hard, do feel sick? Was a quirk accidentally activated on you?" You could hear the true concern in his voice.

"No no no, baby. I'm okay, it's just a food baby." You turned over so you were face to face.

"Oh, that's good." He pecked your nose. "When your bloated it's always so interesting to see how your body looks. It's really cool in a way."

"Oh my God, you are the cutest thing ever, I'm keeping you."
