Hello Fellow Cultists, Well i've been pretty M.I.A for a while, so im not dead and am really excited for The Upcoming Major Update for COTL titled Relics of The Old Faith(with 4 Brand New Structures Coming in it aswell!) and I've been also seeing inspo on Tumblr by searching for cotl AUs and some of them are Amazing & Even Interesting with The Lore of This Game's Characters, Including NPCs aswell! so I've have decided to Plan my own Cult of The Lamb AU(It's Nameless for now) but The Plot is Simply a Epilogue or Possible Prediction for ROTOF's Postgame Story(What If The Bishops can be Resurrected, Reborn as Smol Followers like Narinder has and with Lamberina(My Lambsona OC who's introduce soon) along with Her Faithful & Loyal Followers try their best to Help Nari & His Sibs get along by doing Family Therapy and with Lamberina struggling to Reform each Smol Bishop(or Baby Bishops in this Case) along with Meeting New Friends and Discovering New Locations along her Journey.

This Will Feature Followers in my Own Cult(I have Currently Created 2 Completed Saves both Spared Narinder) and will even have my iwn OCs and Maybe Bring Back Ratuu as a Bonus. But For Now I'll do some Refs for Each Character(And Insert my Good Friends from Discord into the background as Cameos or Easter Eggs, Maybe even Family Members)

As for The Ships that will be involved, Obviously Narilamb will be in this only difference is Lamberina is a Sweet & Sour Lamb(don't mess with her when she's angry or messing with her Sweet Nari or Other Spouses) Next to That will be SozoxHelob(Better Ship than Sozolamb and Makes Sense that their both Insects) and Finally There will be a Bishop x Follower OC Ship in this mainly Leshy x OC type ship(cuz after playing each save, i noticed out of all the bishops Leshy goes easy on you, hence why he's the youngest and he's a pacifist i.e doesn't cause any plagues on your cult like famine or illness/plague sickness to any of your followers or even makes your loyal followers fight against you. he's such a sweet pacifist bush boy i love him) so of course any follower in lamb's cult would easily befriend him possibly even one of the reformed bosses like Barbatos or his Henchman Amduias even.

And There will be a Bonus Part to Revive Ratuu(Since he deserves better and even M.M/COTL's Official Twitter made it Canon that the Knucklebones gang doesn't matter for ratuu vesseling the red crown they love him no matter what he does! which is super sweet and wholesome to me) with Red Shady Fox Included.

Hi!!! <3 Welcome back :D I hope things are going well for you in spite of the business! and im glad you asked hehe

post-wedding is the time during which mc and alex really become comfortable and get used to the idea of mc being a demigod! it's a sort of big adjustment- but alex helps mc with any questions, and does their best to make the transition smooth for her

they dont have a whole lot of time before the wedding to get her used to it all, so a lot of it is done afterwards!

for example, aura training. now that it's her aura and not just an aura that's attached to a ring, she can learn how to better wield it. she'll likely be a lot more versatile in aura after a lot of one-on-one training with alex 👀

i think alex and mc both throw themselves very heavily into rebuilding HERA as a more balanced and better organization than it was under Zeus' leadership, but they also work very hard to keep a healthy work-life balance

since they're both demigods, they can work for longer on less sleep,,,, which opens them up for spending more time together during times where they are actually very busy otherwise!

mc also has to adjust and get used to having the role of Hera, and finds sitting in Hera's throne... odd. eventually, alex comes to stand by her side instead of their mother's (aphrodite encourages it) because they're her partner and they'd like to offer their support/comfort, as well as show a untied front to the rest of the gods

also- and maybe it's that demigod stamina- mc ends up baking... a LOT more. like she already baked a lot, but she suddenly has a lot more on her plate- figuratively AND literally. alex gets a lot more cookies because of it :) and the office is always in high spirits when she brings the leftovers

.... they also probably just go through a lot more food in general, that's double the metabolism now 🤔

ANYWAYS

when they're getting ready to have their smol, they talk extensively with aphrodite about how it happens and what to expect, etc. etc.

aphrodite is very excited for them and they're happy to have her involved

alex and mc end up either moving or expanding their living space so that they'll have a room available for a baby when the time comes, and they read. so. many. parenting books. they take classes. they talk to other parents (if they know any).

i think mc would put her little stuffed deer (that she definitely still has) in the room, waiting for the day she can pass it on to her kiddo

they also talk about names, a Lot. they end up deciding on using names from past heroes.

alex 100% tries to start bargaining to sleep in on the weekends (even tho they always wake up early and wouldn't actually leave her to do stuff alone--) and it helps relieve some of the stress and tension surrounding such a new big step

they're just really prepped and organized and Ready for this next step and theyre as in love as ever (if not more so) and it's just very sweet :)

14. The Maguuma Wastes, hot or cold desert?

Def hot desert, i think ive always got western movies vibes from the aesthetic? (if i think about the implications too much its not gonna look good im gonna make Bad Parallels anyway-). overall im not sure how weather is supposed to make sense in tyria but its def getting hotter the furthest west from the shiverpeaks we get, kryta is basic temperate europe and the maguuma jungle is a jUNGLE so tropical weather and all. the maguuma wastes def arent as hot as like. sahara. but yeah southern US, spain, north africa, around there.

26. How powerful is healing magic

Short answer, it can get pretty powerful but most users never need something that powerful anyway so they don't have enough training to get there. Most of the healers wouldn't deal with stuff that's worse than a broken bone on a daily basis, they def would be able to guide the healing & make it way faster (but instant heal is narratively uninteresting i don't want it). Wartime medics might learn to deal w bad injuries quicker, especially if theyre supporting people on the battlefield, but considering regular soldiers have basic biology, not superhuman abilities, most of the time it would be more "i can get you out of the battlefield alive so we can heal you properly" than whatever the fuck happens in raids. Back to healers in general, they would totally be okay with common illnesses too but when they start not understanding what's wrong with the people they have a hard time focusing the magic and boom you get the scarab plague or whatever

THE HORSES

MYTHICAL CREATURES. Centaurs definitely should have a horse-like god they describe like part deer part idk what else. The humans may have had horses before they arrived in tyria and there are some representations of melandru as one and imagine the weird looks centaurs and humans gave each other when they saw what the other was doing. More generally norn & charr are too big for regular horses & asuras too smol so i offer: Giant "horses" for the first two, baby "horses" for asura. i think the differences in anatomy between the three means we would end up with three separate species - but the norn-adjacent humanoids (like jotun, ogres etc) might breed horses that are technically the same species as norn horses

im Bad At Timelines (and biology if it wasnt obvious yet) but i think humans arrived way too recently to just domesticate an entire species like it happens in the Real WorldTM? so they might be breeding horse-adjacent species and one day we'll get our horses. im 100% in favour of having zebras and other equines bc. easier but also i like deer a lot and i think they should domesticate deer and ride them and shit.

Ok so

We're gonna start with talking about True Timeline Faolan, cause he's the first version i created. He was in the first rp we did.

Here's screenshots of his thing cause im too tired to write it down again.

Faolan is smol. He's 5'5. His wife, and when his daughter grows up, are taller than him. Ciara is already pretty tall in general too.

I never mentioned how he looks like lol. Faolan is dark skinned. He has brown fur that covers most of his body. Fur covers from his hands to just above his elbow, his neck down to mid back and upper chest, his shoulders as well, and lower waist down. He has digitigrade legs with sharp claws on his feet. He has sharp unbreakable nails on his fingers. He also has antlers that are decorated in jewelry he's made. One of the decorations is a moonstone that boost his illusion magic. It glows when he uses illusion magic. For a better idea on how his face looks like, check out my header image. He's on the left. Technically it's Fiend, but they share the same body.

Faolan's fur is impenetrable. Nothing can cut through it. Blunt force wont do anything either. To hurt him you have to get his skin. He does have a cloak/cape thingy that's also impenetrable, he's very likely to use it as a shield.

[forgets to describe his clothes] so so he wears a simple white tank top, and dark brown shorts. He cant wear shoes, nor would he want to. He wears his cloak/cape when he feels he has too. He also has a deer mask!

Faolan was abused by his family as a child, and essentially the town too, cause they did nothing to stop the abuse (it was a well known fact around town, everyone knew).

Even though he know a lot of different kinds of magic, Faolan primarily used illusion magic.

Fun fact: Faolan is a spearmen! He still has his old favorite spear. He takes really good care of it. His wife, Ciara, used restoration magic on it too. Faolan almost cried in appreciation. Aoife has a little miniature wooden carving of it that Faolan made for her.

Speaking of wood carving, Ciara taught Faolan how to wood carve. He absolutely adores the new skill. Faolan was already artistic, he's spent almost his entire life making jewelry and accessories.

For context on the spoiler hidden parts, keep in mind that Fiend is not against cannibalism. I'll expand on Fiend next.

half-swedish, half-british. the swedish is on his mother’s side. he’s bilingual but thinks in english. only really speaks swedish around his mother. only child, and kinda put a lot of pressure on himself to be the perfect kid when he was young, but his parents are honestly, quite decent? and just want him to have a nice life, they don’t care if he isn’t successful or rich or anything, they’re honestly rather solid. grew up in peckham, a suburb of london. growing up, his mum was a model / actress / waitress who later retrained as a speech therapist and his dad worked in her majesty’s service at buckingham palace. his dad wasn’t allowed to tell his family what his job entailed but rory suspects it’s probably very boring and just involves a lot of…. logistics n security.

was bullied a lot at school. [cole sprouse voice] he didn’t fit in and he didn’t want to fit in. unironically wore a trenchcoat to school every day of his life. spent most of his lunchtimes in the library because it was his safe space. as a result he knows…. loads of useless information because 30% of his school years were spent reading anthologies on space and the vikings etc. would be good on a game show. obsessively recorded every episode of university challenge as a child.

middle-class and lowkey quite wealthy but rarely talks about money, one of those well-off people who still wears really old shitty shoes and only spends money if they absolutely have to

rory has been musical for as long as they can remember. first picked up guitar because he thought it would make this girl esther who he was in love with like him, but he just ended up falling in love with music instead.

formulated several different bands as a kid but ultimately had to give it up cos he was quite controlling and got fixated on making a certain sound so it wasn’t really fun for the others. got into electronic music because it was something he could do basically on his own and keep tweaking until he got it perfect

always drumming their fingers or strumming invisible guitar strings. tends to avoid parties bc he has quite has specific tastes when it comes to music and doesn’t like listening to r&b for eight hours while people throw up into plastic cups.

a techno connoisseur. has been making electronic music since he was about twelve.

after his parents divorce, when he was fourteen, rory & his mother moved to run-down suburban neighbourhood, pittsfield, massachussets.

big into photography. he mostly uses a canon 35mm camera, but occasionally uses disposable ones when he wants that more rustic feel.

moving to the states, their photography became more focused on suburban neighborhoods and are often quite dark and cinematic (think gregory crewsden). here are some shots of pittsfield i really like which rory has on his wall [1] [2] [3]

falls in love 12 times a day. never had a girlfriend or boyfriend. gets sweaty when someone cute looks at him. flirting?? what?? would prefer to idealise them from a distance

gender??? hm. doesn’t really know where he fits yet, sometimes he feels like a guy and sometimes they dont feel like anything at all. isn’t really bothered, cos they think it’s a social construct anyway. uses he/they pronouns interchangeably, but feels like ‘he’ is more fitting. won’t necessarily pull anyone up on it cos he knows having an identity that’s constantly…. in flux.. can be annoying for others … and doesn’t want to be a burden even tho it isn’t at all?? rory internalises guilt

everything is socially constructed. mirrors let you move through time. the whole thing’s a metaphor. he thinks he’s got free will but really he’s trapped in a maze. in a system. all he can do is consume. people think it’s a happy game. it’s not a happy game — it’s a fucking nightmare world, and the worst thing is, it’s real and we live in it

has ocd. tries to let it affect his life as little as possible, but obviously it’s incredibly hard to control a compulsive disorder. was teased for it at school when other kids started to notice. he was obsessed with the number five, would wash his hands five times, count stairs i groups of five, he could only use the corridors in one direction and always had to keep his hands busy. it manifests itself in hyper-fixations (trains when he was a child – specifically steam engines – then later he became obsessed with space and the patterns of constellations, and now he’s obsessed with synthesizers) and repetitive behaviours like counting stairs. doesn’t really affect his social life at all, he can jst get a bit locked-on n hyper-focused sometimes.

has insomnia. barely ever sleeps. finds it hard to switch off from work / writing / gaming / whatever’s preoccupying him in that moment. he’s always awake at 5am and quite often sleeps in through classes but still gets really good grades because he’s very good at his course. rarely attends classes. prefers to work independently. doesn’t really trust his tutors are intelligent enough to be teaching him, and is particularly suspicious of the lockwood tutors. a music snob tbh

secretly a small-scale drug dealer, only does weed n some party pills. rollerskates around campus dealing cos they dnt have a car

likes: techno, the webpage cats on synthesizers in space, allen ginsberg, vintage gramophones,  floating points, lcd soundsystem, marijuana, soft dogs that let you pet them, late-night strolls talking about the universe, independent films, cigarettes, herbal tea, gallows humour, long showers, brown eyes, tchaikovsky, dr. seuss, constellations, photography, late night jazz, vintage game boys and girls who could rip his still-beating heart out of his chest and use it as an ashtray. dislikes:  weddings, funerals, formality, button-up shirts that people actually button-up, bananas, hot coffee, social media, people who watch and play sports, rap music – especially of the misogynistic variety, indie wankers in wire-framed glasses that play ed sheeran songs at open mic nights.

“Your bed head is really cute.” and logicality

Logan did not expect for Patton to be awake when he came stumbling down the stairs at five am. If he had, he would’ve at least combed his hair first. Or maybe changing out of his Unicorn onesie. 

But no, Patton was whistling cheerfully as he warmed up the frying pan. Logan froze in the doorway, staring at the Moral Side in numb horror. He slowly started backing up, far too tired to even think of sinking back to his room, but Patton happened to turn around, freezing at the sight of Logan still in his onesie and with his hair in disarray. For a long moment, Patton stared at Logan like he was a rare cryptid and Logan stared at Patton like a deer in the headlights.

And then Patton squealed, rushing forward and cupping Logan’s cheeks before he even had a chance to flinch back. “Oh my goodness, look at you! You’re so cute in your little,” his voice got a little squeaky as he fully took in what Logan was wearing. “You’re a Unicorn!”

Logan winced and patted Patton’s shoulder. “Patton, you’re getting over excited. Please, deep breaths now or you’ll have to use that inhaler that Roman created for you.”

Patton stepped back, waving his hands excitedly. “Oh my gosh, you’re adorable! Your bed head is really cute and don’t even get me started on your onesie! Oh, we are cuddling later, see if we don’t!”

Logan sighed and smiled, already resigned to his fate. “Yes, Dear.”
