just a lil warning this post is a journey and gets a little dark. as in i will be making fun of some pathetic dude who wrote some rly offensive stuff. enjoy.

sooooo i recently was revisiting the dead or alive series. i played thru doa dimensions (it’s like a best-of abridged compilation of the first 4 games) and had a ton of fun. it’s been forever since i payed attention to doa, and i had forgotten how much i loved 2 and 3 way back when! i’m prob gonna get doa5lr next time im out, and 6 looks rly cool w all the changes! um i should prob say that i actually like the cute girls n char designs etc? but i could also care less that tittyanime element was (allegedly) toned down for 6 (it looks same to me lol). they went overboard w that kinda content in 5 so it’s a smart idea tbh. anyways it still looks v fun and this isn’t even the point of the post. see i was lookin up stuff about the content in 5 bc it has all these dif versions and it’s confusing? and suddenly i found this rly obnoxiously clickbaity title in one of the results. much like videos of people roadraging on youtube, i’m ashamed to say... cleeeek.

at first i was like “wait did they actually remove content”? i know 5 went way too far w that stuff lol but i didn’t know this kinda stuff went down? did sony ban costumes for bein too pervy like that’s crazy!

oh no no no nm. this was written by a liar and was titled specifically to trick ppl into thinking what i thought. in reality it was just some post whining about how a private tournament requested (not even forced) ppl to tone down on a few specific overly sexy costumes. so that ppl took it more seriously as a competitive fighter, rather than keeping the reputation as waifubuttonmasher.  and most of the costumes were still fine to use too! like there’s... omg are there over 1,000 outfits in this?? what the heck... anyways pretty reasonable and nbd right? but err no bc this article was written by a dude who literally typed out  “muh-soggy-knee istic”. like yes he actually wrote that out and emphasized it with italics like wow. i’m starting to get an idea of the type of person he is. and why something so minor as this would hurt his feelings so much.

After everything that happened between her and Nasir, he fell back and to her broken heart, rightfully so. The ride back was long and awkward and bout time he dropped her off you could saw their tension in half with a chainsaw and honestly it was all just to much to even deal with. 

Before she could even go pick her son up she spent half the day sitting in the dark of her living room just crying and losing track of time and almost forgot she even had to pick him up before her granny called her. 

Telling her granny that her and Nasir had an argument when she finally went to pick Trell up, her granny told her to just give him time before she tried to talk to him to give him time to calm down and she agreed. Maybe if she ave him time he would be more willing to listen to her and she was ready to wait on him if need be. And in that time she was gonna stop crying and figure out how to handle Jasper who took it upon himself to continue calling her the rest of the night to the point that she tossed her phone in the pool and watched as it fried out. 

By the next day she couldn’t bring herself to really put on a happy face for her dad, sisters, and step mom so she canceled on them and promised that she will reschedule to all of their pleas to reconsider. 

By the end of the work week she needed a pick me up cause all she wanted to do was be with Nasir and since she submerged her phone into the pool she didn’t even know if he was trying to call her or not. So when she got off that Friday she went back to her stylist and got her bundles out and hair washed and even got her nails done sooner then she usually did and was starting to feel a little less empty. After getting a new phone and getting her number changed again, grateful she kept all her numbers backed up, she text everyone her new number and found out her sisters been blowing her up and was almost about to come find her since she never canceled plans with them and they were worried. Making plans for that night she promised to come by and bring pizza which her step mother quickly ended and said she will do no such thing and come eat dinner and she did.

After being attacked at the door by Emie from disappearing, Elle taking her favorite person, Montrell, and disappearing like she always did, and Mike coming down asking if he needed to handle some people for her, which she laughed and declined thanking him anyways which he nodded in reply and went back to play his games. She loved being in their lives and who knew, her father was literally a town over from her.

After all the commotion calmed down and her step mother hugged and kissed her like she always did when she came over, her and her dad sat down and started just talking about her and how her week went and asked how she enjoyed her birthday weekend away, and she joked with him how he stayed in his little cut off shirt, which he shot back at how Evette loved him in it so she could rub up on him on the slick which made Anita burst out laughing at how gross it made her feel to hear that about her parents. 

When her laughter subsided she seen that her dad was looking at her oddly.

“What is it? Do I have something on my face?” she asked rubbing at her face 

“No, I just. See you don’t have to answer an old nosy dad if you dont want to.” he said still hesitant to call himself that to her because of how he regretted not being there for her.

“Dad. Whats you want to know?” she asked not minding giving him that reassurance, because he was her father regardless of Zaneia and her foolishness. 

“I was just wondering about Mont,” they called Montrell to not confuse the two men, “who is his father if you don’t mind me asking. I mean like I said you don’t have to answer, but I noticed he doesn’t look like Nasir and ya’ll seem to not be dating.” he commented which felt like a stab to her heart that she covered with a smile.

“Yea he isn’t the dad unfortunately.” she said laughing hoping her dad didn’t hear the pain in her voice.

“Anita....” he called out to her as a tear fell down her face just as she thought she was keeping it together.

“I’m sorry dad, its just......the guy who got me pregnant,” she said making sure to put emphasis on how he was NOT Montrell’s father, “its.....its a long story and I think he just messed up things between me and Nasir for good.” she said as more tears slipped down her face remembering how Nasir never text her back when she sent him her new number. 

Putting her head in her hands and trying to pull herself together, her dad leaned in making sure no one was around to hear them talking. 

“Anita, who is this guy, whats going?” he asked hearing the seriousness in his voice and for once needed someone else to know what she was going through because she was honestly at a lost for what to do. 

Anita pulled herself together, still not pulling her face from out her hands, but making sure her mouth was clear so he would hear everything and finally told her dad about Jasper. About who he was, how they met, what the nature of their relationship truly was, which her dad listened to without missing a beat. She told him about how after she graduated college she cut him off cause she was over him and was worried about just doing her, she told him about how after she started working she ended up opening that line of communication between the two of them back open and how Jasper showed the serious signs of craziness before but their argument that day was crazier. She told him how she held her own and how she thought that maybe he would get his life together and after he kept blowing her up she decided to throw him one more bone to see if he acted right, which he tricked her into thinking her wore a condom, but didn’t to trap her. She told him about how after ignoring him Jasper showed up to her job and everything that happened with that, how started breaking into her house to the point that she had to change the security system which she thought would work, but didn’t. How she found out she was pregnant and how she was going to get an abortion because she didn't want any connection to him. How she came in one night and he had broken in and was waiting for her in her living room and how they argued and she ending up having to fight for her and her unborn sons life before she could get away from him enough to lock herself in her room, how she had to leave everything behind to disappear off the radar so he couldn't find her, and how after it all she realized that she couldn't bring herself to lose her child and even after all of it, after all the hiding and relocating and restraining orders that Jasper still found out about her baby and how after she had Montrell she ran into his ditsy ass girlfriend and how ever since Jasper been making her life a living hell and how after it all, after everything she went through, nothing was worst then how she couldn’t even love Nasir in fear for his life.

And after spilling everything, getting it all off her chest, reliving it, and crying her eyes out over it all she looked up at her dad who looked to be taking it all in and for a split second she could see the look in his eyes that reminded her how he use to run the streets.

Wiping her tears she pulled herself together. 

“Sorry dad.” she said trying to laugh as she wiped her tears, “its just that I just don’t know what to do anymore.” 

“Anita,” her father said dropping his voice so only she heard, “meet me in the garage.” 

Watching him slowly get up and stride to the kitchen to kiss Evette and tell her they were going outside so he could show her some new sound system he got, which she laughed and joked with him about how she knew he was gonna flaunt it to someone.

Bout time her dad got to the door of the garage still joking with Evette she was fully confused as to why he wanted to come out there. But as soon as he closed that door and all his demeanor changed COMPLETELY  to the hood nigga he clearly still was, she was a little concerned. 

“Yo, I know you grown baby girl, but why you been keeping something like this to yourself.” he said hearing all the hood laced in his tone. 

“I.....I’m sorry?” she said not sure how to react since she was so used to the nerdy, computer savvy, computer repair shop owning, version of her dad.

“No you have nothing to be sorry about, I’m sorry I didn’t find out sooner,” he said as he started to rub his chin and pace before turning back and looking her in the eyes, “yo, you need this nigga fuckin handled?” 

The way it was something that slid from his lips like he was asking if she wanted cake shook her to the point that she didn’t know if she should answer him honestly or crack a joke to hide her concern. 

She chose the latter, “wooooh, slow ya roll daddy o! You a retired hood nigga remember” she said smacking him on the arm lightly still shook.

“Baby girl, I may be a father of four beautiful children and a grandfather to the best grandchild any man can ask for, but I need you to know like the niggas in these streets know, I may stay low key but what I will step back into the life for is me and mine.” He said looking her straight in the eyes so she knew there was no jokes in his words. 

“Do you need this nigga handled baby, yes or no?” 

Nodding her head wide eyed, but pulled back together. “I need him out of my life, I refuse to keep living in fear of being happy because of him.”

“Do you want it loud and messy so to leave a message or do you want it anonymous and quiet where they find his body a good month later?”

“No, not yet,” she said still a little shocked that she was even having a hood ass convo with her FATHER of all people, but realizing they had more then looks in common, “like I said, he got some dumb broad up his ass and something to happen to him then im stuck with her trying to pin the shit on me and I refuse to let it get back to you. So we need to figure out how to get him gone legally as possible so that he isn’t on the streets fucking with me no more.”

“iight look, I got some friends in the courts, I was roommates with this guy back in college who became a judge some years back and he known for being strict with his sentences. How bout I give him a call and get your case switched to him and get this nigga locked up.”

“But its a child custody case dad, how any judge gonna just get?”

“Because he been calling you and having you followed so its time for you to use that restraining order for more then a place mat, with him breaking it and threatening you it becomes a crime and that is where he comes in.”

“Okay.” she said as she looked back at her dad after she got through thinking it through.

“Baby girl if this man show up in front of you again outside of court you call me. You hear me?” he said the look of a killer in his eyes.

“Yes sir.” she said as they got down to business and started plotting to get this man sent to jail and sent FAR away her, her child, and her life.
