hot take but i think that "fictional characters are fictional and liking or disliking them have no real life effect" and "the way you treat certain characters can be an indicative of your character in real life" are statements that can and should coexist

example: character A is violent and makes misogynistic comments. they're still charismatic and their arc is interesting to read/watch. person A acknowledges that the character is bad but they still enjoy consuming content from the character and they do so unapologetically. they're allowed to like the character, especially considering that literally everyone the character has harmed is also fictional. they don't pretend the character isn't violent, or misogynistic, they just like the character despite that. they post about it constantly. this is a neutral action that shows nothing about person A.

character B is a white man that makes racist comments, treats a black person in the show badly and gains money through anti-ethical means. they're still charismatic and their arc is interesting to read/watch. person B claims the character is flawed but overall misunderstood and all their actions are entirely justified. they're allowed to like the character, especially considering that literally everyone the character has harmed is also fictional. person B claims the black character that character B treated badly either had it coming or overreacted. all of person B's favorite characters are white men. person B goes out of their way to justify that all of their favorite characters are actually misunderstood and good people, and more people should like them. this shows that person B likely has some favoritism for white men.

just. you're allowed to like fictional characters even if they're awful fucking people but. and im not sure why this is controversial. the way you interact with media says something about you. this isn't necessarily a bad thing. does this make sense please

I've had this dumb idea stuck in my brain for a few hours now and I just wanna get it all out. This is kinda angsty but also not??? Idk

Do you guys ever think the fact that Mammon was the "adopted" brother ever came up or was it like common knowledge in the HoL? Like I could imagine that maybe brothers 4-7 don't know because by the time they came along or by the time they were created/ born??? Mammon had been a part of Lucifer's family for so long that nobody even talked about him being Michael's brother anymore, either because its a sore subject for all parties involved or they just dont see how its important anymore.

If they didn't know I could imagine them finding out one of two ways. The first way being either Simeon or Luke (more likely Luke) letting it slip that Mammon was originally Michael's brother. I could see Luke letting the not so secret family secret lose because he simply refused to believe it and wanted answers.

The second way I could see this happening is it being revealed in a super dramatic way, like a fight or something.

Let's say it's an argument between brothers (specifically between Levi and Mammon; or Lucifer and Mammon) and it just keeps escalating until one of them drops a "You're not even my real brother!" and the oldest three just freeze because holy shit while the Satan, Asmo, Beel, and Belphie are like "technically yeah but not cool". Like none of the brothers are blood related except for the twins and Satan and Lucifer but they still treat each other like brothers but only Luci, Mammon, and Levi know that when it comes to Mammon it means something entirely different. This also could work with the younger brothers who say something along the lines of "You're not even my real brother" and not understand what they actually said because they don't know about the fact that Mammon really isn't their brother like the rest of them are.

I want you to know,

How I loved you. I was there for you, you knew me, I thought I knew you too. You knew me for years, you were my best friend.

It took you all of maybe 3 months to forget about me. I’m now a stranger when I walk in the room.

What was I to you? 

A friend? An acquaintance? Someone to entertain you until you found someone you liked better so you didn’t have to sit alone? Like how I sit alone now.
