ive had to step away from all the analysis of the finale because thinking about it for too long it fills me with such a [rage? bitterness? frustration? all of the above?] the likes of which ive genuinely never felt for a show before

ive cared about media before. ive been disappointed by media before, but i think the difference is i haven't put my faith in media like i did ofmd- and the more time passes the more i feel fucking stupid for putting that faith in the show in the first place, when so many of the things coming to light now were already there

i cant think about it too long else it makes me so fucking sad, and im tired of analysing it to bits because its not going to change anything, theres no way to fix any of this, no way to find a spark of light in it, no way to come back, to resurrect the show i fucking loved.

im sure everything everyone is saying is well thought out and nuanced things but for the sake of my own enjoyment of this fucking show i have to just not engage with it anymore.

it’s very interesting how nearly all ekurei haters are just dimple haters. they just hate dimple and hate the idea of him being loved for some reason 😭 sorry if that’s a wild conclusion but from what i’ve seen that’s the shit i’ve gathered

i know at this point im just screaming at a wall but dear lord can people just sit down for at least 5 minutes and think about how dimple has grown as a person since season 1 and how his looks shouldn’t destroy all that development and personality he has?

If you can’t understand the complexity of his character I am absolutely BEGGING to the moon and back please censor dimple’s name it’s very. disheartening trying to look for dimple content and come face-to-face with people hating on him and belittling people who like him

anyways dear dimple and ekurei truthers reading this i totally believe that dimple is so much more than what most people take him for and that he’s just as much of a person like anyone else in the show and he totally deserves to be loved. he’s worthy of it and me personally I think both dimple and reigen are so inexperienced when it comes to love and don’t like themselves too much but slowly and surely they learn how to love themselves together. like the love the other.. if they’re loved by someone so amazing, then maybe they deserve it..? hey guys! im planning on taking a short break from writing (and art), mainly because of heavy loads of school work right now and pressure from a lot of sources😔 i think i’ll be back around end of feb, perhaps even sooner if things get better quicker but i’ll still be active on here, just not working on anything from this blog. i’m figuring out that my horrible time-management skills, school and this blog just aren’t something i can balance at the moment! i love this space dearly so i’m hoping to come back with better content for people who do enjoy them c:

Keyleth tries to interrupt Ludinus doing his evil stuff -> Power Word Stun on Keyleth -> very very deadly attack barrage on stunned Keyleth -> Vax appears in a swoosh of raven feathers deflecting a (probably?) deadly blow -> "Don't even dare" -> Ludinus needed a "divine spark" and had prepared for this -> Vax gets laser focused by magic machine bullshittery -> Vax gets compressed into an orb/sphere -> orb Vax gets inserted into the machine as the last piece Ludinus needed to activate it -> something happened but we're not sure yet what we'll have to wait at least until next week for more info

god the person in the notes on that post saying this was just like how vax died but in reverse was R I G H T and i hate it

(for those who don't remember or didn't watch THAT fight. campaign vax did not perma die bc of his deal with the raven queen. his end of campaign death was just a formal goodbye bc he was already dead. his actual death happened in the first fight with vecna. when he got hit with a 22DC hold person he couldn't physically break out of. and being under hold person, means that disintegrate automatically hits. and if disintegrate takes your hit points below 0, you are not only dead, you can't be revived by any spell except for true res, which is the only resurrection spell the raven queen does not allow)

(and technically, disintegrate was cast on him twice, before it took effect. bc keyleth saved him the first time)

#both of my roommates are out tonight which im very glad of #bc while i love them and they both follow this blog so they would not judge me #i do not need to explain right now why i keep yelling and going THIS IS!
