omg i JUST read your soob drabble “nightmare dressed like a daydream” and the concept of popular reader x outcast soob has just been brainrotting me

like just imagine you guys got into a secret relationship after that project, and your favourite pastime now is to tease him both in school and out of school.

in school you guys act like you don’t know each other, he’s alone again and you’re surrounded by all your friends, but as you pass his desk you slip a note telling him to meet you under the stairs or on the rooftop. the moment he arrives you pull him down and begin to roughly make out with him, unbuckling his belt and he just shyly tells you ‘not at school’, so you just wreck him with your lips, sending him back to class with his cheeks flushed, hair tousled, collar undone and neck full of hickeys. he sits back into his seat in embarrassment, everyone knows what happened but no one says a thing… maybe after a bit you’ll get cocky and ask him to wear a vibrator in class, he pretends to be embarrassed but he still slips it in. when the teacher calls on him you turn on the vibrator and he can barely stutter out a coherent sentence, the teacher lets him off but he glances at you with teary eyes. you do this a couple more times until he’s excusing himself to the bathroom, you follow him out ‘as a good classmate checking on their peers’ and the moment you enter the bathroom hes begging you to help him.

he wouldn't push him to do anything (tho i dont think any of the companions would, but ykwim) and since gale has his own form of relationship and sexual trauma (the fact mytsra groomed him since he was Literally a child and was only ever intimate with him on the astral plane therefore he's never had real physical human touch and intimacy) it would be overwhelming for him too!!

Okay I’ll go one at a time & sorry if they’re a bit long lol

1. Disco pulled up to the wrong address when going dancing, and didn’t know it until it was too late. He was going through his run down building expecting to find a race happening in one of the rooms, but this place was actually an abandoned WVBA building. They had a big dip in popularity in between the mid 90’s and the late 2000’s, and they had to get rid of a few of their properties. This place just so happened to be the building that Kid Quick died in. So obviously having his resting place disturbed ‘woke him up’, and he checked out the guy wandering around the building. He looked fit, and kinda reminded him of himself, so he just kinda… walked into his body. Quietly.

Disco felt a weird shiver, and definitely felt off when it happened, but nothing was obviously out of the ordinary so he brushed it off. He eventually found the right address and partied the rest of the night away.

Quick rode shotgun in Disco’s body for at least a few weeks without saying anything. He did feel kinda bad, and was definitely going to say something eventually (he was not.) so when Disco saw a translucent guy sitting on his couch trying to turn on his TV he almost passed out.

Quick freaked out and tried to wake him up, but only ended up possessing his body, which freaked both of them out further. (Okay well maybe Quick was excited to have a body again but Disco was NOT a happy camper.)

It was a miracle that Quick convinced Disco not to call an exorcist. But they sat down and had conversation about their lives, like old friends. When Quick told his story about dying in the ring, Disco offered to help him out. He seemed like a chill guy and as long he didn’t run away with Disco’s body he was okay with sharing.

The rest was history! (Again I am working on that oneshot where they’re the protags so I hope I can finish that soon 😋)

2. OKAYY so Tiger is all about playing dumb. He’ll intentionally act clueless about situations he already knows all about to see if he can get new info, or will see how the person he’s talking to feels about what’s going on.

Example if Aran and Macho Man were beefing, he’d *conveniently* pass by and go to both of them separately later, without telling them that they’d talked to the other person. He can get a read on their vibe yk?

He also uses his magic to hide himself when important conversations are being had, or will send a clone to gather info if he’s busy. He’s running a whole operation. He has to know about everything that’s happening, because how can he tease people with knowledge he shouldn’t know if he doesn’t know anything at all?

I do think some of the other boxers have just kinda accepted that nothing is a secret from him.

But I think the big mystery he’s really after is Sandman’s identity. Like he wants to know if he’s a human or monster SOOO BAD. He knows that would be world ending knowledge so that’s his ultimate goal. No luck so far though.

3. Soda and Bull were both initially on good terms and had a lot of respect for each other until their first fight. Bull saw how hard Soda was pushing to try and beat him, to the point where he thought Soda was going to die from over exerting himself. But in an effort to make a good impression with the other monsters (since he was still relatively new at the time), still beat Soda’s ass.

Soda had received word from Great Tiger beforehand that Bull was actually a monster. He thought that if he could beat him in this fight then somehow it would ‘make up’ for the fact that bull was a monster, and they could carry on with being friends despite their differences.

But Soda lost, and was pretty crushed by the defeat. Their relationship soured after this, though Bull never really knew why. He was upset about it, but some pep talk from the monsters saying that ‘he’s better off hanging out with them’ had bull turn his back on Soda.

But George and Lando would be the most amazing sibling pairing. They would just be insults and arguing 24/7 and would very much make it all of their friends problems. God and with brocedes as parents. Worlds most chaotic family. Lando would definetlget paired up with Oscar for some class project and fall so hard so quickly not realizing that Georgie mentors her for like student council or something

God Georgie being that overachiever in school who’s just doing everything somehow. Student council president, top of her classes, tutors other kids. She’s always problem dressed. They would go to the most lax private academy and she would still show up to dressed like there was an official uniform with her skirt past her knees and her hair always slicked back in her neat high ponytail.

Versus bad boy Max with his leather jackets and expensive car. Who always getting in trouble with teachers for his rather blunt attitude and seems like he constantly late and never paying attention yet he’s still getting similar (and sometimes better) grades than Georgie and is in all honors classes.

Just fully back to the trashy romance book I read when I was younger 😩 He’s her little brother best friend and they argue constantly. And he just sees through her little miss perfect act so easily (Max is most definitely dragging a tipsy George off a countertop during a party i don’t make the rules)

Motherfucker on a bitch im coming here freshly finsihed from joat, which was the most amazing story I have ever read. From the characterisation to the plot and the world building, this fic had been living in my mind rent free for the past months.

Your writing style matches perfectly with the story you're telling and the reading flow is amazing and effortless. This feels like magic.

I could write endless praise but what I really want to mention before I change my mind is how much this story has changed and helped me in the few months it took me to read it. Reading through nayas journey felt cathartic (is that's the right word) and made me face the shit I experienced in life. It convinced me that yeah, I definitely want to pick up teaching, even with my bad experiences. I've applied to work as an assistant for a few months, and I'm so glad I did. This is the right path for me, thank you for giving me the final push.

i believe this isn’t by any means an original idea!! i know andy has a fic about this (it’s absolutely incredible, melted my brain just three chapters in) if u haven’t already read it!!! just wanted to get your take on this if u haven’t already done one yet, bc i recently rewatched the 1998 mulan and had the lightbulb to word vomit about this to you!!!

but okay let’s play, LOL. War Paint was one of the very first BNHA x Reader fics I ever read so I will always be fiercely loyal to it!!! Saying that, and I mean this with nothing but absolute love Andy, DONT @ ME, but reading War Paint gave me less Mulan vibes and more Song of the Lionness ones.

(Simplifying it—really simplifying it—a girl pretends to be her twin brother so she can train as a knight! There’s lots of magic and even some romance and Tamora Pierce has been one of my favourite authors since I was a kid!)

I think it has to do with the fact that War Paint is focused on barrack/training/castle life and the subplot with the thief—whereas when I think of Mulan, I think of war.

Mulan is one of my favourite 🅱️isney movies!!! I first saw it when my primary school had a fundraiser—they set up a projector and screened Mulan and I very distinctly remember being overwhelmingly excited as the opening credits started (I nearly choked on my red twists/twizzlers) and my Dad telling me I had to be quiet LOL. If I had to make a graphic showcasing all the fundamental pieces of media to both my personality and who I became as a person, Mulan would be centre of it. 🥹

Tbh, I’d never seriously tackle a Mulan-inspired fic just out of respect for Andie Trousers Multipled by Several, but if I did, I would absolutely play hard into the war angle LOL. Maybe even indulge in some war crimes!!! You know that scene where they finally make it to the village in the pass and it’s been burnt to the ground? Yeah. Yeah. 😌 I think we can ramp that up. Have our Reader and Captain Bakugou & Co engage in some Revenge War Crimes. People are bastards in wars already, without feeling justified about it. I was literally just watching a documentary the other week about some Aussie soldier who’s facing trial (has faced trial?) for being an absolute cunt—one of his lighter cruelties involved him shooting a family’s tied-up dog as he searched their home, so take that, take the power people feel like they have when you give them a weapon and a uniform, and then put them in front of a massacred village and see what happens next. 🔪

And idk id guess there’d be a romance in there somewhere too. 💀💀💀💀 tbh im more interested in the war tho LOL. (BECAUSE!!!! LISTEN!!! i like a challenge!!!!!!!! And I think trying to fic-ify an AU that dovetails closely to the (🅱️isney) Mulan tale brings up a lot of interesting questions when it comes to world-building, and like what you need to avoid/honour, especially if you’re borrowing from an actual, real world culture for it. The Mulan legend is Chinese, for starters—and My Hero has a Japanese cast written by a Japanese man. So, okay, maybe to simplify things for ourselves we Fantasy-AU it—but then do we eurocentric the world around them, to play it safe? Is that less playing it safe and more whitewashing? My Hero being Japanese informs the canon characters, which are traits that spill over into our fanon. Traits that we love! So is it a disservice to them to strip them of it, just so we can play War? Does this stripping make it worse when we bring in atrocities like slain villagers, and revenge acts? Do we honour canon by letting them keep their Quirks? How badly does that ramp up things then???? Like, idk, I could literally bang on about this for hours (and have, in the group chat LMAO im sorry besties 😭))

This is literally too much overthinking for your ask, Hansy, I’m sorry. 😭 ITS IMPORTANT THO. Because the world around them informs our characters!!!! So pretending we sort all that out, now we have our upstart, hot-as-shit Captain Bakugou, who has idolised General Toshinori for years now—and he’s out to prove he can train the best of them!!! Except he’s working with like, farm boys! Gutter-rats, given the choice of this or execution! Maybe there’s a cohort of like, genuine scrappers, but Captain Baku here has deliberately been given the bottom of the conscript list: this is a test. And I!! Personally!!! Think that should make him an utter bastard when dealing with our Reader!!! I think in canon, Bakugou is like, learning that people need more than to be told “u suck, do better” so I like to believe Captain Bakugou would try—maybe he and his lil friends learnt hard in a trial by fire when they were kids, during the First War—so he’s earnt this leadership role. But he’s used to fighting with peers! Peers that knew what they were doing! And now he has to oversee the training of like, the most inept civilians he’s ever witnessed! I think we could justify him losing his cool—specifically with our Reader. 😌

A Reader who doesn’t take it!!! I’ve always liked that in 🅱️isney’s Mulan, she does it for her father. So I’d give that same motivation to our Reader—a tomboy who’s always been better at giving the village boys a run for their money in their little games, who’s always wanted to go and play with them when they roughhouse. Maybe to make things more interesting, we introduce a fiancé—one of those same village boys! They grow up together, have an arranged match. Maybe he’s genuinely kind, in love with Reader whereas Reader’s just kinda like, ho-hum—but then the War pt. 2 rolls in, and he’s swept off in the first round of conscription (so that there’s no one left to volunteer in Reader’s place for her dad, in the next round!).

Oh. You know what? We could ramp up that massacred village scene by making his platoon or whatever they’re called the ones that were stationed there—so Reader finds fiancé’s helmet!!!!! And then she’s all like, omg, 😧. And then she could tie it to her saddlebags and eventually bring it home to his folks. 🥺

(Reader and Bakugou could prop themselves up in their grief, maybe? Because I know in the film the stationed army is overseen by Li Shang’s father, right? They built off one another and you really saw the character development and growth reading from each part like 🥹 loved her sm. Part two was also a nice comfort for me cuz I wasn’t feeling well when it came out but reading it felt like a warm hug and I really appreciated that comfort at the time.

Keeping the Seungmin train going, the other drabble you made where he comforted the reader who tends to bottle up their emotions. Again, hit very hard but was such a great comfort.

it was the fic about xiao's scars. first of all a million kudos to you for the characterization, because that's something i rarely see done well especially when it comes to ns/fw. my favorite part was definitely the intimacy - i'm not that good with words so idk how to put it, but seriously, the intimacy was so satisfying. a lot of suggestive content goes straight to the point and forgets about the emotional value (which ig contributes to poor characterization) but i loved the way you took your time to explore all his feelings and reactions. like THAT'S what i wanna read, man. it scratched an itch. it all felt so tender and loving. my heart!!!

but in term of cuteness he doesn't come close to the man of the hour the one and only park seonghwa. he was adorableeee like my heart was just aching the whole time (plus i was reading this while standing in line and gosh i was just gushing).

and when yunho said "hot daddy" i felt that.

and seonghwa just babbling about nari!!!! i could see the hearts in his eyes as he browsed throught the numerous pictures on his phone. and when he opened up to mc about their past and the unresolved shit they still had it was so genuine i wanted to hug him so badddd. like sometimes the dads need a hug too :(

and mc!!! what a business woman (maybe im falling for her a lil bit too lolz). i loved how she took advantage of the moment by dropping the plan to seonghwa. and at the same time i feel like between the lines this was just an escape for her. maybe the memory of that night hurts too much and she pushed her pain deep down to forget about it and she wasnt ready to open the wound back up again. so she jumped to known and reassuring territory meaning business, work. idk.

but seonghwa on the other hand i feel like paternity forced him to become somebody that is in touch with his feelings to be able to understand his daughter's. if u want to connect to anybody you have to open up and i feel mc is struggling with that maybe seonghwa can show her that showing vulnerability isn't being weak... quite the opposite. (i struggle with that all the time)

its beautiful cause they have a lot to learn form each other and i cant wait to see what you have in stock for this fic.
