I don't see how anything I've posted or reblogged is anti-semitic. I'm not Jewish so I know I can unintentionally say something that perpetuates anti-semitism. So, genuinely, what is it that I said that was anti-semitic, how was it anti-semitic and how can I improve?

Because, if you did see all my posts and reblogs, you'll see the ones that directly talk about Jewish people is about how Judaism is not equivalent to Zionism, that Jewish people who are talking about this issue are the bravest people, that the phrase "Not in our name" being used by them makes me so emotional, that saying from the river to the sea Palestine will be free isn't calling for the ethnic cleansing of jewish people.

So, if you have been following my posts and reblogs, you would know I don't wish to perpetuate anti-semitism. Because being pro-palestine is not being anti-semitic and just because I want Palestine to be free does not automatically mean I want Jewish people to suffer. One statement does not imply the other.

The fact you're actively telling me this and not telling me how or why so I can improve just shows me you don't actually care about helping me learn, or helping stop the spread of anti-semitism. You just want to criticise me and diminish my voice.

I opened anon asks again because I wanted to give people a chance to send me videos of stuff in Arabic if they wanted translations or to genuinely talk about the issue. But now I see that no matter what people will just send me asks out of hate.

Even though I am Arab, even though I arguably do know a lot about this issue because I've learned about it my whole life. Even though I have a better grasp of the situation because I'm quite literally in the Middle East and my point of view isn't tainted by orientalism (it's a theory coined by Edward Said – a Palestinian American and I recommend reading up on it if you're interested). No matter what people don't care.

It honestly sucks to see this idea that we should uplift the voices of POC and never see that energy transferred to Arabs. Yes, I'm not Palestinian so my voice does not matter as much as theirs. But I'm still Arab and a lot of the rhetoric against Palestine is just Anti-Arabism.

I'm going to turn off anon asks indefinitely. It's clear no one cares to talk to me about this issue like I'm a human being. Being Arab online right now sucks as is. I'm not giving anyone the ability to cower behind anon. Oh, and my moots think you are nothing but a coward by hiding on anon too.
