Hinata Sora

Shoyou’s actual twin with Kenma’s eye color. Smart but chaotic, like really chaotic. Smol. Best friend’s with Akio and Keisuke. He and Toshiyo are good friends too, if he feels too much like a third wheel around Akio and Keisuke he’ll drag Toshiyo into the mix whenever he can. Has a little sister named Kotori. They are bubbly and he and his sister are the light of their parents' eyes. As oblivious as his parents can be about romance, he inherited the same trait and he doesn’t know Ushijimaten is crushing on him hard. The only rebellious thing he ever did in his life was randomly get his ears pierced with his three best friends to which it was Akio’s idea. Loves gaming but isn’t as good as Kenma lol but his imagination is as active as both his parents. Games with Ten too who is way better than him for no good reason. Is smart but Akio often has to remind him to use his brain.

Kuroo Akio

Tol emo angel that’s usually the smartest person in the room but lowkey, lowkey has a temper. Has Kei’s features like hair and eye color but a mix of his parent’s looks. Wears glasses but always forgets them, only remembers to bring them if Sora or his parents mention it but most of the time barely listens to his parents. Has strong feelings for Keisuke he just hasn’t decided if they’re positive or negative yet tho they’re bros.

Kageyama Toshiyo

Shy and reserved, between Sora and Akio’s heights. Dark hair like Kageyama and eyes like Tadashi and freckles. Friends with Sora only so he claims. Has 99 problems and Haru is like 75% of them.

Bokuto Keisuke

Newly 16 tho lol. Has Kou’s wild dual colored hair and Keiji’s eyes. Akio is his best bro and he’s really close with Sora too. He and Akio dance around eachother as Sora puts it. Has messy hair to his shoulders and refuses to get a haircut. Heart of gold, head empty tho. Drags Akio into social situations, likes gaming as much as Sora.

Sawamura Himawari

Has Suga’s soft features and hair color but Daichi’s eyes. Manages karasuno's boys volleyball team. She’s tired of the boys wanting more girl friends. Her and her siblings are her parents’ world. Has a crush on Akio’s sister she thinks no one knows about.

Ushijima Ten

Looks a lot like Ushijima but can have Tendou’s wild side when it comes to Sora. Has a smol crush on him everyone but him knows about. Is naturally good at anything he tries and shows Sora how to game better. Shinji’s his best friend that encouraged him to spend more time with his crush through online gaming.

Iwaizumi Haru

Looks like Oikawa but has dark hair like Iwa, has a tol crush on Toshiyo. Has dual extroverted personalities that neither of his parents can quite attribute to themselves exactly.

Shirabu Shinji

Looks a lot like Semi with his features but is a prodigy but lazy. He can be as sassy as Shirabu on the rare occasions he’s pissed off tho. Ten is the only person he knows that he hasn’t clashed with at one point probably also because Ten is rarely if ever bothered enough to care. Clashes with Haru whenever they are in close proximity of each other. Also has a problem with Miya Yukio but doesn’t know it’s just because he’s crushing on him. Can always tell the difference between him and his twin and the fake triplet cousin.

Sakusa Ame

Calm Ambivert who is mostly unaffected by the thought of germs but feels closer to his uncles and cousins than his sibling and parents because he feels he saw them less growing up. Looks more like Atsumu and can get mistaken as a triplet to his twin cousins. Good friends with Sora and Keisuke.

Miya Yukio

Him and his twin Yushiro take after Osamu and their uncle heavily in looks along with their cousin Ame. It almost scares the adults. Is cocky when he’s annoyed, reserved and intelligent. Gets along with Sora and Keisuke surprisingly well. Clashes with Shinji in one sided beef on Shinji’s part.

I have too many ideas and not enough dedication or inspiration to follow through with any of them. I also tend to write with a specific character name and personality in mind because it's awkward writing in the second person (I usually write for myself and my own eyes). None of these fics would have anything to do with each other (ex. Asuka and Misako both attend Inarizaki, but they don't exist in each other's worlds).

okay, so -- here we go :

karasuno: probs suga/daichi cause i'd be in their year LOL (im younger than suga but older than daichi hAHA) and also bc they're like the most "normal"; but if i wERE in hinata's year, prob yachi cause knowing my parents, i would've been in the college prep courses >_>

the rest of the team i'm not as sure of bc tsukki and kageyama r basically antisocial, yamaguchi is attached to tsukki's hip, asahi seems too shy, actually i'd prob be friends w noya too LOL im a pretty outgoing person. im sry but tanaka looks like he commits violence HAHAHAH so prob not him;;;

nekoma: kuroo? he snark, i snark back. kenma i go back and forth on bc... like he feel like he'd like the same indie puzzle games that i like, but i also don't actually play games all that often

seijoh: tbh idk if i would be friends with any of them; oikawa would probably annoy me bc popular boiz in hs always kind of annoyed me and iwa is basically his keeper. altho i can imagine myself as friends with iwa. LOL

(I couldn’t find other pic of Bokuto and Kuroo for this, i swear. Both artworks are not mine, the artists are chitsu02 and anpinpa. Many thanks to the anon who gave me the names.)

Concept: Nishinoya, Kageyama, Oikawa, Ushijima, Kuroo and Bokuto as Japan’s national volleyball team. Noya will continue to be the Guardian Deity, best possible libero. Kags’ offical postion will be setter, but he will also win points by spiking tosses by Oikawa. Kuroo will be a middle blocker and the captain of the team. Bokuto, Oikawa and Ushijima will be the wing spikers, Oikawa’s and Ushijima’s serves + Ushijima’s and Bokuto’s spikes will more or less win the game.

Well, that’s mine dream team! But since everyone has different views and opinions, i would like to hear who do you guys think will be the best team!

they walk back in like it didn't happen and tooru puts his arm over tobio's shoulder and yells "your stupid boyfriend is here!"

you know the scene where kageyama asks him for advice and tooru makes his nephew take a photo of him bowing? he has so many of those now but he never gets sick of them.

kenma had planned on “accidentally” locking you two in a room together

what kenma hadn’t planned on was kuroo embarrassing himself before kenma even had the chance to put his plan in action

kuroo was crouched on the floor trying to fix kenma’s gaming system (god knows why it chose today to eat the game card)

he was completely unaware you were standing behind him and, somehow, in his peripheral he had assumed you were kenma’s desk chair

reaching behind himself to grab the chair and pull it over so he could sit in it, his eyes and one hand were still occupied

the other hand was now on your ass

it doesn’t register in his mind at first, he just knows that whatever he’s grabbing it isn’t the chair he thought

he literally turns his head slowly and when he looks at you hes like 😃

his eyes were focused on the volleyball court; he couldn’t look at you, he was putting on a serious act in hopes that you’d like him

that’s why when he reached behind himself for a volleyball he accidentally grabbed your ass

immediately realizes what he’s done, turns around and starts apologizing

he gets all pouty as well. he thinks you won’t like him now, even worse he thinks he’s offended you and now you hate him

hajime iwaizumi: king of not paying attention to what he’s doing part 2

it’s not that he’s inherently oblivious to everything, he just. notices what needs to be noticed and passes over everything else

but he hadn’t heard you walk into the gym, hadn’t seen you sit on the bench in front of him when he knelt down beside his gym bag

oikawa knew you were there, so of course he smiled and loudly called “iwa-chan!”

iwaizumi, of course, went to stand up and grabbed at the bench to help himself

the bench he didn’t realize you were sitting on

so when he grabbed your waist, he also was pulling you to him. unintentionally, of course, but he was doing it nonetheless

which ended up with you falling (or rather, being dragged) off the bench and into iwa’s lap

both of you have to take a moment to process what just happened

eventually you both come to the realization that you’re sitting between his legs with his hands still somewhat on your hips and somewhat on your ass

he doesn’t want to push you off of him, but you’re currently still trying to process the situation and not moving

so he takes his hands from under your ass and slips away from behind you

“i uhm... i’m sorry, y/n. i didn’t see you, i thought i was grabbing the bench-”

“it’s alright iwa! accidents happen.”

he’ll never admit that he’s blushing. oikawa, makki, and mattsun laughing does not help the red tint in his cheeks though

even though he takes his hand back and is already stumbling out an apology, he has to turn and look at you because oh my god he did not just do that,,, oh no he did

eventually he manages to sting enough words together that it sounds something like an apology — he is sorry, he’s just far too embarrassed by what just happened to form a proper sentence

“it’s ok! don’t worry, things happen. i know you didn’t mean it” and suddenly akaashi knows that hes in deep

“uhm- yeah, sorry again. maybe you can just hand me the balls from now on ok?”

either kageyama was going to kill hinata or hinata was going to kill him, he didn’t mind which came first

hinata had invited both of you to a restaurant with him, and then ditched just as soon as you and kageyama had both arrived

of course, to you it was just bad timing. to kageyama however, he knew this was hinata’s attempt to get you to closer

kageyama tobio, who had no clue how to talk to his crush, was going to sit in a restaurant alone with you

much to his surprise though, he found himself enjoying your company. you were much kinder and easier to talk to than he had imagined in his mind, that much was clear

but of course he had to mess up. and of course it was in the most (though unintentional) perverted way

he reached to hold the door open for the people behind you whenever you were leaving but had miscalculated where you were walking

meaning he had his hand rested on your ass instead of the door

he jerks his hand back like a man scalded almost as soon as it happens

he’s stuttering and mumbling out an apology as well. it’s barely coherent, but you were laughing too hard anyways

please stop laughing he wants nothing more than to crawl into a hole and never have to face you again

Basically, emotional rollercoaster LMFAO but yeah I really love this fic and esp the depiction of their relationship!!!

I loved Kormoi’s characterization SOOO much and I loved his perception of the team and just how observant he was. Time and Distance by kiyala (G) 1.3k /MatsuHana/ THIS WAS SO CUTE AND FLUFF!!! I’m in love with the part where they didn’t want to look at each other yet and I just love how they’re so in tune with each other (SOBS).

the kind of magic you aren't supposed to write home about by skittidyne (T) 5.2k /KyouHaba/ I LOVE MAGIC!!!! SO MUCH!!! I also love their bickering so much AHHAH they’re such a fun duo. Their dynamic in this is so great, and it makes me so happy AHHHHH.

two slow dancers by quietkids (T) 7.7k /KageHina/ this might’ve been, dare I say, my favorite fic on the list,,, I just really loved Kageyama’s POV (AND CHARACTERIZATION!!!!) so much and I also love non linear plots and it was just written so well and it made me so sad and I love angst and yeah!!11!!1!!1!! I literally fell in love with this fic and again it was just SO freaking good!!! And also I loved the other Kageyama’s in this so much.

il mio ragazzo falso by karasunovolleygays (T) 18.5k /BokuAka/ there has been a collective agreement within our discord that Gina is actually the best character in this fic hands down. In fact, we love her side of the family so much (excluding the great grandfather he is not loved). That being said, I loved this fic and I loved the way mr. quarter Italian Akaashi was portrayed in this fic.

gwah, bam and swoosh by dalyeau (G) 1.6k /BokuAka/ THEY HAVE KIDS! I love the idea of them swapping lunches that was so cute but also the a/n at the end had me rolling because I didn’t even consider that HAHAH.

The Dare by yourfavoritedissapointment (M) 5.2k /IwaOi/ I love confident Iwa I think it’s one of the best concepts this fandom has ever come up with. Like just imagining him being so cock-sure HAHAHHA it’s great. Anyways, you can tell it’s true love because Iwa still wants to deal with Oikawa even though all THAT happened which in my mind, makes it true love HAHHAH.

The Great MSBY Black Jackal Pizza Bake Off by awkwardedgeworth (T) 5.7k /SakuAtsu/ who doesn’t enjoy a good crack fic? Everything is just so chaotic and I just love all the crossovers HAHAHA. TBH other than maybe Atsumu, I doubt any of msby 4 can actually cook,,, I don’t think Sakusa would cook because I don’t think he would want to go through the effort LOL.

Adagio by h_lovely (T) 9.6k /MatsuHana/ BALLET!!! I love this fic for so many reasons but I also just really like alternate sports fics HAHAH. I think the idea of matsuhana as ballerina’s fit them so well if I were to think about the hq characters LOL. I love them so so much and I love the cliche it was good and this was such a fun, happy, and fluffy fic AHHHH.

So I've had this idea for a while but it never got written 😭, could you please write a fic where reader goes to Karasano (sorry I forgot how to spell it) and the reader is best friends with Kageyama however they are also dating Oikawa. A/N: I don’t really know what to say about this, lol. I’m not a hundred percent proud of the way it came out, but... nonetheless, here it is. Pairing: Oikawa Tooru x F!Reader, Kageyama Tobio x F!Reader (platonic/one-sided)

Oikawa had often talked about his annoying, little-shit-of-a-pupil -- coincidentally, however, he had never mentioned him by name.

And never would you have guessed that was Kageyama.

Maybe you should’ve put the pieces together. You were, quite honestly, feeling pretty dumb right now as Oikawa practically clutches himself to your side, a tight arm wrapped around your waist, glaring at Kageyama who seems all too confused and oddly enough, clueless for the first time as he blinks at the both of you.

You’d known they’d gone to the same middle school, obviously that they both played volleyball but this? This somehow seemed to be a possibility you never came to on your own.

And now, because of your own cluelessness, you had an clingy, jealous boyfriend latched onto you, and a best friend watching the two of you with an expression of confusion and was that even a subtle glare you detected?

Couldn’t be.

“Well,” you say after a moment, “seems I don’t need to introduce the two of you, since you already--”

“Tobio-chan!” Oikawa suddenly calls, voice a sickly sweet tone that you clearly know means nothing good, watching as he points his finger at the first year, glare never wavering from his lips. “Why were you making googly eyes at my girlfriend?”

“Oikawa,” you sigh, “Tobio was not making googly eyes at you.”

“Oikawa?” He calls, pulling back from you so suddenly your gaze falls on him with a blink. You watch as he sets an offended hand against his chest, a deep frown marring his lips. “Oikawa? What happened to Tooru? And why is he,” he sends another sharp point at Kageyama, “Tobio, when I’m Oikawa?”

“Okay, okay,” setting your hands against the boys chest, you send an apologetic glance Kageyama’s way, whose still yet to say anything, before looking up at Oikawa imploringly. “I’m sorry, Tooru. I didn’t mean it.”

“I knew I should’ve convinced you to come to Seijoh,” he sighs dramatically, “if I knew you’d end up at the same school as Tobio.”

“Tooru,” you pout up at him, “you know Karasuno is more convenient for me.”

Oikawa glances at you once more, his gaze intense, before he gently pushes you behind him, you rolling your eyes in response, his attention fully falling on Kageyama. “Listen here, Tobio-chan,” his voice is low, threatening almost and it takes all of your strength not to slap him across the back of the head.

You would, but you know he’d just have another thing to complain about later to you.

“Y/N is my precious girlfriend, and she is strictly off limits.”

“Tooru,” you step forward, not able to listen to him threaten the poor boy anymore. Pulling him back by the waist, you move to cup his cheeks, glancing back at his team that have already packed up and were clearly ready to leave, before turning back to him. “Walk me home, hmm? I’ll meet you outside in five, just let me say goodbye to the team.”

He seems hesitant, obviously not wanting to leave you alone with who he obviously consider rivals, especially not Kageyama -- but then you’re smiling sweetly up at him, biting your lip in that way you know drives him crazy. “You can come over tonight,” and then, lowering your voice, you lean in to whisper at his ear, “and we can do anything you want.”

His eyes sparkle and he needs nothing more, turning without another word, maybe a quick glare at Kageyama, before rushing off to gather his stuff.

Setting a hand against your chest, you sigh; “sorry about that Tobio,” you mumble, glancing up at him apologetically. “He just gets that way sometimes. Well,” you blink, remembering everything, “you probably know that, I guess. How come you never told me you knew Oikawa?”

Kageyama shrugs, speaking up for the first time; “I didn’t know you knew him.” And there’s something off about his voice.

He almost seems... dejected? Sad, even? But no, that didn’t seem right -- you have to be imagining it.

Flushing lightly, you shake your head; “right, sorry.” You rub at the back of his neck, “well, once again I’m sorry if he came off--”

“Y/N!”

“Y/N, did I just see Aoba Johsai’s captain kissing you?”

“How come we never heard about this?”

iwaizumi who called you an idiot for falling for him, told you that he wasn't worth the time, didn't know that watching you fawn over someone else could hurt this much.

daichi who thought that the worst possible thing that could happen was the basketball team taking over the volleyball court. little did he know...

tsukishima who swore up and down that he wouldn't care, told himself that these weird things he could feel in his chest was just in his imagination, wanted to hold you so so bad. he wanted to steal you away and hide you so that no one else could know what it would be like to have you as their partner. but how could he do that to his best friend? could he really do that to someone who stuck with him for so long and was finally happy?

» semi took a quick glance up into the stands, you gave him a thumbs up and wished him good luck. his smile was brighter than you had ever seen it and his eyes shined like stars. he always told you that whatever chance he got on the court, he would be sure to not let his team down no matter what. he was in his zone. playing his best and sure enough, they had won all 3 matches.

» after practice, semi and you would hang out at his dorm afterwards. he liked to show you all the new songs he was working on. whether it was a cover or a song or a song he was writing on his own.

» the two of you leaned against the wall as you sat on semi's bed. his sheet music all sprawled out before him on his bed sheets. guitar in his arms and you beside him.

honestly, idk how he didn’t know that you spoke a second language before y’all started dating bc he seems like the sort of guy to ask those sort of questions while flirting/making conversating

but anyway, he probably learned that you spoke another language on the first date

he took you on a study date to the library and one of the subjects he was studying was French, and he was clearly struggling

‘ugh, this is quite tricky- we’ve got a test coming up and i can’t even remember how to say ‘bread’. hah, i’m definitely going to fail..’

you rolled your eyes, leaning across the table to deliver a gentle chop to his head, ‘negativity begone!’

sugawara chuckled before relaxing back in his chain, fidgeting with his pencil as he shifted his attention off his revision sheets and onto you, ‘did you take a language this year?’ he inquired, trying to make conversation to momentarily take his mind off the piles of revision he had to do

you squinted, biting your own tongue as you attempted to equally divide your attention between your date and the complex maths question you were working on, ‘no, i couldn’t be bothered. plus, i can speak (L) so it’s not as if i’m a monolinguist.’

suga blinked rapidly at this new information; so wondering if he had heard you correctly, he questioned further, ‘you speak (L)? really? i don’t think you’ve ever mentioned anything about that before.’

you shrugged, letting out a slight sigh before placing your pencil down; realising that if Suga was going to continue talking, it might be rude for you to keep working. ‘oh, have i not? well- now you know!’ you hummed, shooting your boyfriend a sweet smile.

‘how can one person be so smart and stunning?’ he mused, resting his cheek on his palm as his elbow was propped up onto the table

‘i should be asking you that, kōshi.’

he couldn’t help but roll his eyes at how humble you were; ah, if only you knew how much he admired you.

suga could only imagine being bilingual yet you could effortlessly speak a second language fluently, he was sure that if you were to take up volleyball, the team would waste no time in replacing him with you

anyway, he was so impressed that you can speak (L) and he shows it lol

like if you talk down on yourself, he’ll call you out SO quick regardless but he will also mention your second language somehow lmao

you groaned upon skimming the message your professor sent you along with your test result, ‘ugh, i got 68% - so fucking close to an A! i’m so stupid..’

you thought sugawara was preoccupied with cooking dinner until he came rushing into your room, making you jolt when he slammed the door open, ‘who’s stupid?! are hinata & kageyama in here somewhere? because i know that you weren’t talking about yourself!’

you buried your face into your hands to not only let out a elongated groan, but also so he didn’t see the small smile tugging at the corner of your lips

‘and i know that you didn’t call my gorgeous, intelligent, selfless, bilingual sweetheart stupid! take that back, (y/n). ’

you probably first told him you spoke (L) a while into your relationship — but not too long — so maybe like 6 months

and you only told him bc y’all were having an argument over the schoolwork and you were sure that your method was correct while oikawa thought otherwise

but after a while, it kinda just turned into a battle of ‘who is smarter?’ rather than trying to figure out who’s method was correct

so you just blurted out from spite, ‘tough talk coming a one-language-speaking peasant.’

oikawa rolled his eyes, ‘how many languages do you speak then, smart-ass?’

‘english, japanese and (L)’

he blinked rapidly, unable to come up with a snarky remark, he cocked his head to the side and inquired, ‘you speak (L)?’

you nodded, your lips curling into a smile, ‘yep!’

he’ll bring you to a party celebrating a cup victory for his team and while everyone there is trying to praise him for his perfect sets, he’s quite tipsy and just goes, ‘thank you. thank you. but have you seen (y/n) tonight? they look so gorgeous- especially their eyes, i hope our kids have their eyes.’ he rambled, his speech a bit slurred so everyone had to do a double-take to make sure they were hearing him correctly

was he seriously raving on about his s/o when he literally just won a world cup?

‘oh and did i mention they’re four-lingual? literally. they speak English, Japanese, (L) and Portuguese so they could live here with me.’

it was embarrassing in the moment but at least there was no press at the party

plus, you both always look back on these moments and laugh tbh

also, just bc he was drunk didn’t mean that his words were empty - he meant everything he said, the alcohol only helped him voice everything confidently

Kōtarō Bokuto

ok so he learned that you spoke (L) 6 months into your marriage

his big personality makes up for his ignorance-

you were on call with a mutual friend who could also speak (L), hence you were both talking in (L) lol

meanwhile bokuto was just sitting on the other side of the couch and it took him half an hour to realise that you were speaking another language

however, you were hardly alert either considering it took you god-knows how long to notice that bokuto was staring at you with wide, starry eyes

and you literally just froze- then proceeded to excuse yourself for a moment before muting your microphone

‘bo, are you alright? why are you looking at me like that?’ you asked, concern clear in your tone as you dropped your phone to rush over to him, hastily pressing the back of your had against his forehead

bokuto shook his head abruptly, snapping out of his glazed gaze to pull you onto his lap, ‘were you speaking a foreign language just there?!’

‘yeah, (L). I’m fluent.’ you replied, rather shocked as he went from a statue to his regular, energetic self in the blink of an eye

he cocked his head to the side with wide eyes — and it was moments like these were you could really see the resemblance between him and an owl — before wrapping you in a hug, resting his cheek on your shoulder.

‘i didn’t know that you could speak (L), babe! that’s so fuckin’ cool! do you think you could teach me?’

you giggled, both from his lively response and how the vibrations from his speech tickled your neck

‘sure, but i have to finish my call first.’ you hummed before springing to your feet, grabbing you phone and strolling out of the living room to continue the call in the privacy of your bedroom

and don’t think bokuto forgot about you agreeing to teach him bc he was planking outside of the bedroom, waiting for you to finish your call so he could jump out at you once you tried to exit,

‘HOW DO YOU SAY ‘I’D LIKE FRIES WITH THAT’ IN (L)?!’

‘FUCK!’ you screamed, your phone falling out of your hand as bokuto just jump-scared you in your own home

you try to teach him ofc but it’s quite difficult for him to learn (L) while he’s simultaneously trying to learn English and Spanish

he didn’t exactly give up on trying to learn it but the frequency of his lil’ questions of ‘how do you say this is (L)?’ and ‘how do you say that in (L)?’ became less and less

however, whenever you speak (L) in front of him, he always looks at you with wide, dreamy eyes - completely in awe at how clever you are and he’ll take every opportunity he can to praise you for it

oh and he has you saved in his phone as ‘gorgeous, bilingual wifey 😩💞💕💖’

Keiji Akaashi

he probably learns that you can speak another language on the second or third date

y’all were talking about hobbies you wanted to take up, then akaashi pulled out his note titled ‘ ↳ languages i should learn’ and the first one he uttered was (L) so you immediately chimed in

‘oh! i can speak (L)! i could teach you — if you want.’

akaashi couldn’t help but smile softly; even though he had a bunch of assignments due, along with all the approaching tests he had to study for, he just couldn’t say no to your offer — you just looked so excited

plus, there was no harm in trying to learn a language alongside his schoolwork

he humbly accepted; further inquiring about your links and relations with the (L) language

anyway, you never really sat akaashi down to teach him (L) or make him take notes or anything, you’d just began with integrating the occasional (L) in an english/japanese sentence

you’d tend to change the noun and given the context, akaashi would be able to figure out what it meant

for example, if y’all were vibin’ on the couch with the TV on in the background, you might ask him to pass the remote but replace the word ‘remote’ with the (L) translation

there was nothing else he could’ve passed to you so he understood that you meant remote

so slowly but surely — without even realising that he’s learning — he picks up on quite a lot of the vocabulary

and by the time y’all are married, he’s basically fluent

oh and on your honeymoon (which is in Italy btw, I just know he’d take you somewhere with a rich history) you are chillin in the pool then out of the corner of your eyes you see akaashi approach you from the edge of the pool, before getting down on one knee

and you were so confused for a second bc you thought he was proposing again even you recall getting married to him just a few days ago ◉_◉’

however, once he pulled out a box that seemed too large to contain a ring, it piqued your curiosity even more, ‘akaashi?’ you stuttered, eyes wide.

he opened it to reveal a simple silver bangle, pulled it out then offered his hand so he could cuff it around your wrist

now that the cold metal of the bangle came in contact with your skin, you were finally able to read the text engraved into the silver

and it was ‘i love you’ in (L)

Tetsurō Kuroo

you probably told him that you could speak (L) quite early on in the relationship tbh

he was really proud of you but he only took much of an interest a bit later on

he was just like ‘(y/n), do you know any languages other than japanese and english?’ over some chocolate-covered strawberries

you nodded, ‘yeah, (L). why?’

kuroo gasped, excitedly slamming the kitchen counter with the palm of his hand, ‘i need you to teach me some curses.’

you giggled, taking another bite of your strawberry, ‘heh, why?’

‘because kōtarō keeps muttering things about me in portuguese and oikawa keeps snickering at it - i think they’re bitching about me so two can play at that game.’ kuroo whined before looking at you then shooting you a charming smile, ‘so can you help me?’

he’s adorable so you smiled right back at him and chirped, ‘absolutely not.’

however, you kept his request in mind when you graciously began replacing all your english curses with those in (L)

and obviously he caught on ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
