It’s been a long time! How are we holding up, fantoms? I hope everyone is resting and eating well. Please take care of yourselves.

In case you don’t remember who I am, I’m that loser that wrote Tis the Damn Season (hear me out) and the Anti-Valentine’s Day prank Juke fic.

I haven’t written for jatp in a long time, mostly because I’ve been so swamped with work, but also because I’ve just found it difficult to continue with the lack of content. I’m sorry about that.

If it’s possible, I’d like to ask for your support. If there’s any ARMY/fantom crossover, I wonder if you’d consider reading my new stuff? I just wrote a 21k BTS fic that’s posted to my other blog, but because the algorithm is shit it hasn’t gained any traffic🥲

(Maybe this is me begging for views but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do)

At the end of the day, she'll just run back to LA and forget about Seattle all over again.

But the city, and Luke, have more of a grip on her than she expected.

“Alright, which one of you weirdos knows an exorcist?”

“You believe them?” Alex nearly shouted. Willie patted his knee.

Reggie gestured wildly at Luke, nearly hitting him in the face as he did so. “When has he ever given up the opportunity to compare me to a candy cane?” Luke shot him a surprised glance. He hadn’t known he was that predictable, he thought sulkily.

“I don’t think he’s possessed enough to need an exorcist,” Bobby mulled over the words as if he were actually considering them, his frantic pacing gradually decelerating to a thoughtful promenade.

“Has anyone actually asked Luke what he saw?” Willie asked no one in particular. Luke shrugged and shook his head. The shaking made him see gold sparks at the edges of his vision, so he stopped and went back to prodding apprehensively at either side of his larynx.

“I tried,” Bobby sulked, but nobody paid him any mind. In their day-to-day operations, it was usually Luke who determined their course of action, but as he was temporarily retired from jumping into the verbal fray, they seemed to be at a standstill.

Reggie clapped his hands together, “Who’s really good at charades?”

“I mean, as long as you mouth the words it’ll be fine, right?” Willie inquired.

“Willie can read lips,” Alex said proudly, as if anybody in the room were surprised to hear that he had memorized every bit of Willie trivia that existed in the universe. “Try it, Luke.”
