summary — after one too many drinks on a night out with grace, you know you can always call george

but if you're too drunk to drive and the music is right, she might let you stay, but just for the night. and if she grabs for your hand and drags you along, she might want to kiss before the end of the song...

you were sat at your pc, legs tucked under you as you edited down some footage for a new video where you heard george laughing on the bed behind you. "what?" you half-pulled your headphones off, looking at him with a small smile and a tilted head.

"have you seen the video joe took of you last night?" instantly your heart sank. "george, please tell me he didn't post that." your boyfriend could barely look at you without suppressing a laugh. "no!" you yelled. "i have an image to uphold, people cannot know i'm a messy bitch."

"it's not that bad." he tried to reason, but with the no-bullshit look you sent him, he just nodded. "okay, it's a bit bad. but it's sweet!" you sighed, setting your headphones aside to lay beside him on the bed. "show me."

"you! you are my soulmate. i love you!" you slurred with grace's face smushed in your hands while joe and max wheezed in the background, phones out and recording.

"love you too, babes." she laughed. "but maybe it's time we get you home, yeah?"

you nodded mindlessly before perking up with a gasp. "i have a boyfriend! i'm gonna call my boyfriend." joe filmed max deadpanning at the camera before rolling his eyes, sick to death of you and george. you rummaged through your bag before happily pulling out your phone and calling george.

a groggy "you alright?" was the first thing you were greeted with and with wide eyes and your hand covering your mouth, you remembered how late it was. "shit, you were sleeping, i'm sorry." "no, it's okay, don't worry." he was quick to assure you, but when you kept apologising for waking him, he simply asked, "is grace with you?" when you responded, he asked you to give her the phone.

"she's smashed, mate, i'm sorry." she said through laughter as you moved to hug max. "where are you? i'll come get her." grace sent him your location before handing you back the phone. max handed you a bottle of water from his bag while you waited.

after a few minutes, george pulled up by the club you were all huddled outside, immediately going to put his arm around you. "ew! get off, I have a boyfriend!" you squirmed away with a disgusted face before turning around and seeing who it was. with a bright grin, you flung your arms around his neck. "george!!"

your friends laughed from behind you, and george smiled tiredly. "hey." "hi." you grinned dopily up at him, your chin pressed to his chest. he nodded goodbye to the others, you waved dramatically while george guided you to the car and made sure you were strapped in before going to the drivers seat.

while george drove, streetlights flickering over his face, you stared at him, not saying anything. "you okay?" he asked, looking over at you during a red light. "you're really pretty." george huffed out a laugh, smiling. "you're really pretty too." "no, you're like really really pretty. like, are you real? are you an ai?" he threw his head back, laughter echoing through the car and your smile grew impossibly wider. "i can't proudly say i'm real, love." "i don't believe you. you're a liar." you huffed, folding your arms and looking out the window at the buildings you passed.

after a few minutes passed and george hadn't heard anything from you, he looked over and saw you with your face pressed against the window, soft snores falling from your lips. he turned the radio down. when you pulled up the the apartment, george picked you up and carried you in, opening the door as quietly as possible and setting you down on your bed. he went to the bathroom and grabbed a makeup wipe, gently taking off your slightly smudged mascara with a fond smile. he took off your dress and untied your heels, and when you were comfortably cozied up in one of his old t-shirts, he peeled back the covers and pulled them up to your waist, knowing you'd twist to curl into him when he got into bed.

he was right, of course, because the moment he lay down, you twisted on your side, nose to the crook of his neck and arm thrown over his torso. his hand snaked over your shoulder, gently toying with your hair until he fell asleep again. he kissed your forehead, soaking in the domesticity.

it wasn't how he'd planned to spend his saturday night, but if every night got to end with you tucked into his side like that, george was glad to be real.

Obviously- he couldn’t tell the public that you and him were dating, you were a mutual of James Marriott due to you and Jago (James’ drummer) were close growing up both playing drums.

You two met through said which was fun, you two were close before you moved back to London causing you to get even closer, little coffee dates.

“George would you rather be your ideal intellect or be your ideal heig- i start as I sip my coffee.

I laugh.

He asked her out around 2 months later and did it with a nice bouquet of blue lilies.

He knocked on her door and she opened it as she rubbed her eyes, she was fully dressed just no makeup and her hair wasn’t done, showing her light freckles may be ironic- but beyond all the odds, she’d never looked prettier.

I smile as I see him.

“Hi george- we didn’t have anything planned today did we?” I say as I Lena on my doorframe.

“Uh, no- but.. I have something to ask.”

My smile wavers at his nervousness.

“Will you go- on a proper real date with Me? You know..” he said and sheepishly brought the lilies from behind his back.

Her cheeks flushes and she grinned.

“You remembered by favourite flower? Oh george! Of course!” I giggled and take the flowers out of his hands gently.

He smiled and I tell him to come him and put the flowers in a vase.

“You-“ he exhaled.and smiled.

“Yeah cool.” He tried to keep his calm but could hardly contain his smile.

Their dates were great, clearly they were meant and happy for each other.

At the start of the relationship the two were still a bit shy with each other, holding hands in public was their only form of PDA.

Though, further on into the relationship George asked you to move in with him, you could trial it for a bit.

After passing the honeymoon and awkward phases of your relationship you two were romantic best friends.

You found out pretty quickly George’s love language was gift giving, while you’re was quality time.

When you two were out before you were holding hands, something you just started doing in public, and his face was red.

“George you okay?” I ask quietly.

He nods and pulls his hand out of mine before wiping it on his chest then putting it back in mine.

Another time, me and George were making out in the comfort of our apartment and I exhale as his mouth goes to my neck.

“George- I have my train to get to-! I have to go meet James..” he mumbled something as he nibbled my neck, me holding back a whine.

“Alright- okay..” he murmurs as his eyes flick between my eyes and neck.

“Have fun.” He smiles and kisses my temple.

I don’t think much about his actions as I’m on my trainer to Brighton; my mind drifts into the fact I haven’t really told James how me and George are dating- same for him, even though he introduced us.

As I get to his apartment- he starts his stream and he starts talking about how his chat should of drew me.

I move my hair out my face and look at James as he talks.

“Neck- chat what are you on about? Neck-“

He looks at me then his jaw drops.

Y/n! You have a hickey!” He jabs my cheek and my face turns a shade of crimson.

He muted his stream and laughs at me.

“Who gave you that? Do I know them?”

I put my face in my hands and sit on his floor.

He unmutes his stream and says I’ll be with them in a minute.

As he ended the stream he laughed again and leaned against the door frame.

“Well, thank you for coming.” He clicked his tongue.

“Who gave you the hickey?” I push his chest and scoff.

“Thank you for having me- I need to go do… things.” He rolls his eyes as I tie my laces.

“Was it George?”

George definitely did that on purpose.

“Can we get matching pyjamas?” I ask as I go into his office as he edits a main channel video.

He doesn’t hear me and I notice he still has his mask and glasses on, I sigh and pull his hat off his head, massaging his scalp lightly.

He turns to face me and smiles.

“Fix your posture, love you do this all the time..” I say softly and he leans back in his chair and looks at me.

I smile and pull his glasses off then his mask.

He exhales and relaxes in my touch as I massage his scalp, his eyes closing gently.

“Mmmh- thank you, n/n.. I- I do love you..” he muttered as I smiled.

We didn’t say that much.

“What did you say- earlier?” He questions as I sense his drowsiness.

“We should get matching pyjamas, I think that- would be cute for us..”

He smokes and nods, already almost half asleep.

“George get into bed..”

He groans and opens his eyes, he saves whatever editing he’s done and drags himself out of his office into his room. (He had a three bedroom apartment and when I stayed I shared with him)

“I’ll get a drink then be back.” I say as I go to get a bottle of water, as I come back he’s already fast asleep.

I smile and climb into bed with him, his arms instinctively going around my waist.

And finally, George definitely calls you short arse to make himself feel better at his 5’8 stature.

Headcannons of Arthur taking care of a drunk reader

Poor Arthur is minding his own business in his apartment and hes just about to go to sleep

Until he gets a call from poor Simon who’s had to go out to a bar to pick up Talia

However he didn’t wanna leave you alone so he decided to get your beloved boyfriend Arthur to come get you

Obviously being the amazing boyfriend he is Arthur gets straight out of bed to come get you

He arrives and sees you ordering ‘one last drink’

Before you can however he goes up to you and wraps his arm around you to pull you away frkm the drinks

At first you freak out because you didnt know he was coming

He smiles and lets out a breathy laugh every so often

When you get home Arthur is busy locking the door whilst you collapse onto the couch

He comes and crouches next to you brushing your hair out of your face

He grabs you some paracetamol and helps you take them

You decide that you just wanna sit with him for awhile and hes okay with that

You fall asleep in his arms

When he realises he takes you up to bed

Taking off your heels and replacing your dress for one of his shirts

Is the last thing you say before fully drifting off

waking up to a drunk george

I wake up in George's bed, in the middle of the night, hearing him laughing from his desk, and talking very loudly. I check the time on my phone, 1:07am. He must be recording a 'we watched...' video, while drinking. Typical.

I hear a bottle open as I hear another giggle, and slurred words. He outros the video, shouting out his merch website, as well as his second channel, and James' channel. He says goodbye to James, and I hear the discord disconnect sound. He groans, taking another swig of his drink. I slowly get up, wearing nothing but a matching, lacy bra and underwear set, and socks that are way too big for me.

I walk over to him, and hug him over his shoulders, kissing at his neck as he struggles to take off his bandana. He moans and reaches his arms up, and over my neck. "baby.." his voice trails off. I kiss his cheek, helping him take off his bandana. "Is this still recording?" I study the camera. He takes off his sunglasses, squinting at it, and shakes his head. I spin the chair around to face me, and straddle his lap. George moans as he grabs my waist. "Fuck.." he whimpers, softly running his fingertips along my spine. I cup his face in my freezing hands, kissing his soft, pink lips. He pulls away and a big grin spreads across his face. I help him take the tablet, the help him lay down, then finally cuddling into his chest. "I love you, y/n." I look up and his soft, pretty face, running my hands through his soft curled hair. "I love you too, Georgie." We both drift off, into a deep, peaceful sleep.

This might be a strange request but I was watching the new ItalianBach video with Alex, Cam and Arthur and I thought it was really funny and cute that a few times Arthur was like “wait I actually kind of like this.” I was wondering if you could do a little blurb or something with Arthur x Reader where the reader is scratching his back or his scalp or something and basically doing asmr on him without him realizing it’s asmr and teasing him abt the fact he likes it?

I normally take YEARS replying to oneshot reqs but this is so cute i litr banged this up in a DAY which isn't too bad... it is quite a short little blurb (great word btw) tho, but i hope you and everyone else reading enjoys nonetheless, anon!

-just like sorta casually hanging about in Arthur's flat, j chilling n spending time together...

-You're lying across the sofa w ur legs spread across the cushions n Arthur's body on top of yours, cushioned between your legs and on his phone- switching between playing online chess and watching TikToks whilst waiting for his opponent to make the next move

-Your hand just sort of finds itself on his head after a bit, fingers just finding a path through his hair n moving only a little bit...

-"What're you doing?" Arthur mumbles, not moving to get you off, just intrigued with what exactly you were doing whilst he couldn't see you

-"I'm just massaging your head." You hummed, leaning your own head back to relax whilst your fingers threaded through his hair. "Do you want me to stop?"

-"...No, I don't think so." Arthur sounded unsure of himself, bringing a small chuckle from you as you continued your actions inattentively.

-Whilst you were lounging and happily relaxed, Arthur found himself... not agitated, but completely defenceless to how nice it felt. It felt like getting his hair done, but so much gentler and more soothing...

-He felt uncomfortable in how he was sat - he just wanted to lie down and sprawl out - relax all of his limbs and let his head fall limp against you whilst you just ran your hands over his head juuust like that...

-Yet Arthur didn't say a thing in not wanting you to stop what you were doing or think he was odd- or make him explain- or something trivial and unnecessary like that. No, instead he just closed his eyes briefly and savoured that way your fingers ran through his hair, fluffing and messying it. And as Arthur closed his eyes, he only felt more, particularly noticing the way your fingertips seemed to press into the back of his head, right where he had a headache- circling ever so slightly and seeming to chase the achy points away

-It was only when you absent-mindedly drummed your fingers over Arthur's scalp when you noticed Arthur's responses to your touch

-Withdrawing your arm from over your eyes (previously serving as an eyemask for you to rest), you realised that Arthur had literally had a whole-body shiver at what you'd done; drumming your fingers one by one over his scalp

-"Holy shit, sorry, are you okay?" You retracted your hand back from Arthur hastily, though your brows raised in even more surprise as he let out a near whine as you moved back(!) "Arthur...?"

-"Do that again please," He whimpered, the note of desperation on his voice drawing a slight laugh from your voice.

-"What, this?" You drummed each finger over his scalp again with a grin, his neck ticking as he let out a slight groan, drawing a full laugh from your chest, throwing your head back as well. "Is this your equivalent of ASMR?" You teased, seeing a pink flush rise up to Arthur's neck from behind as he stuttered a-

-"M-maaaybe..." In reponse before rushing, "Pleasedon'tstopthough-" which only drew another hearty laugh from you, your fingers reconnecting to Arthur's head nonetheless and messaging over his scalp and running your fingers though his head.

-"Sure I won't," You mumbled in response after a while, smile still on your face. "As long as you're not enjoying it too much..."

-"Too late," Arthur joked in response before hastily grabbing a cushion and pretending to cover his crotch with it with joking heavy breaths.

-A snort left your mouth, grabbing the pillow from besides you to whack him around the back of his head, laughing as you lovingly replied "Shut up and play your chess, neeky", threading your fingers back through your head and going back to sleeping whilst playing with his hair, un-wipeable smile plastered onto your face as you did... <33

Can u write an ArthurTV story where you’re a youtuber/singer (Taylor Swift/Sabrina Carpenter style) and he’s got a huge crush on you that he’s sort of open about and gets bantered with about from the lads (he’s tweeted you before and they’re still up) but you don’t know anything of him. You’re friends with the Sidemen and they get you to do a 20 VS 1 and they invite Arthur along as one of the boys you date (they sneak him in after the elimination stage so you don’t have the chance to say no), the date goes well but nothing happens after that, however you end up doing another video with him in it (like Chips pub golf video) and there’s lots of flirting and either you kiss or end up going on a real date

It was no secret to anyone that you had talent, you often wrote songs or did covers that showed off your voice and you weren’t a stranger to compliments. You had also started a youtube account a few years back gaining around 3 million subscribers and therefore a lot of internet popularity and mild paparazzi from time to time.

You were exposed to a whole new life of influencer events, interviews and touring the country meaning that you had not only gained a massive following of fans but a massive following of boys, particularly boys who would fantasise about taking you on dates and asking you out. Over the years you had became pretty good at ignoring this though, a bunch of 12 year olds trying to act hard around you wasn’t the best thing in the world but you knew it could be a lot worse.

However, Arthur wasn’t a fan of the traction that you had gained from all these people. Sure he was super happy for you and a major fanboy but deep down he had intense feelings for you and everytime he would see you with another guy he couldn’t help but feel a twang of jealousy run through him. Arthur had tried everything to get your attention- everything! He had even tweeted at you a few times in a desperate plea for your attention.

And yet still, you had never noticed him! Not to mention the fact that all of his friends tortured him for his crush on you, it was all friendly banter but god they could tear him apart. It felt like no matter how hard he tried he was always gonna be stuck watching from the sidelines. That was until he had gotten a call from KSI and was asked to come on as a date for a 20 VS 1 video he was about to turn him down until he heard who he would be dating. You. How could he pass up an opportunity like that?!

Two weeks later and hes showing up to the filming location excited and terrified at the same time, over those two weeks he had explained to the sidemen how down bad he was for you and they had agreed to sneak him into the game after eliminations so you couldn’t really say no. So he was say backstage bouncing his leg thinking off all the oppertunities he had right now. What if he comes off to weird? Or too forward or to-

‘Arthur?’ Harry knocked onto his dressing room door peeking his head inside ‘You’re up now don’t fuck this up or JJ will kill you.’ Harry laughed before closing the door behind him. This was it. This was his moment to make an amazing first impression and win you over. He could 100% do this.

He could absolutely not do this. He was sat across from you stumbling on his words sweating profusely and shaking. God why was he so nervous? Everything about you seemed so inviting and yet he found himself struggling to even introduce himself overcome with anxiety.

‘So Arthur, what do you do in your spare time?’ You had asked. He was so nervous it was suprising and honestly flattering to see how worked up he was just because he was talking to you.

‘I make youtube videos- a-and I used to study law! I also like to hang out with my friends andtweetfunnystuffontheinternet.’ You didn’t quite catch that last part due to his mumbling but you let it slide.

When his time was over you weren’t even interested in the other boys and what they had to offer. There was just something so captivating about him and his nervous laugh and goofy smile that you found yourself zoning out every so often to think of him.

When filming had come to an end you walked backstage hoping to find his room, strolling along the corridors and checking each door you passed you weren’t looking where you were going and bumped into someone. Luckily for you that someone was the exact person you were looking for!

‘Ohmygod I-I am so sorry!’ He almost shouted as he made sure you were okay,

‘Arthur its nothing- If anything I wasn’t watching where I was going. You are who I was looking for though.’ You exclaimed.

Arthur was taken aback. You were looking for him? Not that he minded he was just confused there was so many other boys you had spoken too- ones he had believed to be better looking than him or be more interesting. However the more you conversed with him the more comfortable he felt around you.

‘Hey Arthur?‘

‘Yeah?’

‘Can we go out sometime? Y’know like a date?’

‘I- Shit yeah. Yeah! Holyshit yeah!!’ Strings of curses fell from his mouth as Arthur hit cloud nine not believing that his dream girl had just asked him on a date. You smiled, happy with your achievement and that you were actually able to score a date.

‘Oh! Arthur one last thing!’

‘Oh? Yeah whats up?’

You grabbed both sides of his face pulling him toward you placing a quick but passionate kiss on the lips.

‘Bye bye Arthur <3’ You had said sweetly before leaving him stood there a blushing mess feeling like he had literally ascended to heaven.

He had finally gotten the girl.
