I need a dpxdc Crossover scenario where, somehow, Danny Fenton and Billy Batson end up at the same school. Maybe Danny is a year older but he got held back in a subject, so they’re both in the same bio class. Danny as a Sophomore and Billy as a Freshman. They’re lab partners and they hang out during school, and neither of them have any clue the other is a superhero. Danny is so used to everyone having Kinda Weird vibes from Amity that Billy doesn't ping anything and Billy has the same thing where everyone is Fawcett is a little Off, nothing particularly different about this guy.

Later on, both of them have joined the league as Shazam and Phantom and they still have literally no clue the other is a superhero. Billy doesn't recognize Danny as Phantom because of the altered features and Extremely Weird Vibes and obviously Danny doesn't think to compare the adult man Shazam with his fourteen-year-old buddy Billy. They both think the other is a semi-immortal being and they are both desperately making shit up about past events and praying they got it right. They both are continuously amazed that they're so good at guessing historical facts. They keep having to agree to random historical events that may or may not have happened because the other guy said so. They are both passing World History with flying colors because of the research they have to do to keep the "ruse" up

Eventually, someone's identity gets revealed (I'm thinking Billy) to the League, which is really dramatic and emotional about how Billy lied to everyone about his age and history for so long. And then Danny arrives ten minutes late with a Starbucks like "hey why is everyone freaking out. Why is Superman crying. WHY is B-this random kid here. On the Watchtower. What."

Someone: Phantom, I know you and Shazam were close, did you know he was secretly the fourteen-year-old Billy Batson? He's been lying to us about his past this whole time!

Billy: D:

Phantom: :/ UH so while we're on the subject *transforms from Phantom to Danny* hey Billy!

Billy: DANNY?

Anyways its a whole confusing mess and everyone is yelling and nobody knows what the fuck is going on but eventually its cleared up that yes, both Phantom and Shazam are secretly kids, they apparently know each other but only in their secret IDs, and they have in fact been bullshitting Ancient History facts like there's no tomorrow

But the important part here is that Billy and Danny pass their lab final, because thats what really matters

im convinced joe cannot die.

fanon often whumps nicky to the high heavens and back and i got to wondering why him and not joe?

nicky’s obvious kindness and gentleness makes him an easy target for angst, sure, because if anyone hurts him you yourself wanna go after them let alone the characters. and i can definitely see a situation where both joe and andy are terrified of the idea of nicky dying.

that’s the thing. everyone is so worried about nicky that they don’t stop to consider joe. and that’s why i firmly believe everyone, characters included, simply refuse to consider him dying as a possibility. it just cannot happen.

joe would die on the inside if nicky died. he’d become colder, and at the same time more vulnerable. he’d be merciless and he’d drown in guilt. but if joe died, nicky wouldn’t be nicky. his calm, his warmth, his kindness, he’d shatter. joe fears nicky dying, but nicky refuses to believe joe would ever die before him.

it’d be the same for booker, andy and nile. they dread to think of a world without nicky, and they physically cannot imagine one without joe. he simply is. he’s a constant.

joe has always stood out to me. he seems to be the only member of the group with very open emotions; andy and booker have long since shut off their feelings and while nicky certainly deals more healthily he still doesn’t seem to be very expressive about them. joe on the other hand lets his emotions run free, immortality never steals his fire and it’d be something his teammates are drawn to. joe is still utterly, unmistakably, messily human in ways that some of them lost over the centuries. he loses his temper, he is unable to contain his love for his family, he jokes at inappropriate times. he uses his art, his words, his actions to express his emotions and without that things would be dark.

they all kept things from mortality. booker kept his family in the form of his grief. nicky kept his faith. joe kept his passion. losing joe would break them in a way nothing else could, because they’d be lost. he shows them how to keep going without losing even a fragment of themselves. he shows them how even after so long there is just so much life to experience, to feel.

it would be unexpected. it would be unbelievable. and suddenly it’s not joe wailing over nicky’s body whilst desperately trying to take his own life.

it’s nicky, trembling and stunned looking down at joe’s body, because this cannot happen.

nicky dying would be horrific. but joe just can’t.

I was thinking, and nothing like this happened to Bruce. Jen was slut shamed, filmed without giving consent, then the video was played in front of her colleagues and family. She had every right to tear down that screen, whether if she was aware of what she was doing or if the hulk took over her and she had no control similar to Bruce's experience. Also, the men clients in this show absolutely suck (except for Tim and the gang, I love them). Guys like the frog dude and immortal idiot continously make horrible decisions and leave with little to no backlash, while Jen is being harassed for simply existing.

Ok so few months ago I can't remember when. I went through a faze of reading every merlin cross harry potter fic I could find. Including merthur. It's a small list. A really really small list. It's amazing though. I grew up obsessing over harry potter and then merlin. So obviously I devoured the fics and then grew sad when there were no more. So I started writing my own. To be fair it was a very complex story line I chose to write so it didn't last long. I think I have the first half of the first chapter down but I have no hope even for that. But now. As the flame is rekindled. I'll be thinking it out more and writing it again. I say this in hope. But I have no idea since school is starting soon for me.

I have the summary written and maybe the title? I'm not sure.

Also fun fact about me. I have never stuck to reading a 100k fanfic until I read 'Emrys Ascending' by tricksterity on ao3. Probs one of the best merthur fics I've ever read. Go check the fic out. You won't regret it. Trust me.

Anyway here's the summary for my own one. Sort of. Or the main outline?

Many years ago, around 300 years to be exact, Merlin placed the crystal of Neahtid in vault 713, in the lowest part, at the time, in Gringotts wizarding bank. He thought it would be safe there.

What he did not expect was that approximately 200 years later would he be informed that it had been taken, then attempted to been taken again. Now chasing after a half giant, a child and a wacky Headmaster and some unforeseen lurking evil Merlin is forced to venture out into the wizarding world once more.

Though now in hindsight it was not a smart idea to attend the school as an 11 year old boy, apparently it raised a lot of questions when you appear out of nowhere.

It also does not help when a few older years resemble suspiciously to close to Arthur and the knights, so its no wonder he’s so distracted.

There's going to be loads of shenanigans by the way. I want it to mostly be funny fluff and light hearted. Obvi there has to be angst on some parts. I still have a lot to refine and go through but the base idea and what I want for it is there

And it's certainly not his fault when he thought the best plan of action was to go undercover and take it back. As an 11 year old.

Only to find out the past has come back to haunt him. In the form of of a few 3rd years scattered across houses.

Because really, Guise isn't around anymore to tell him it's his fault. So he'll believe it's not.

That is until he hears a familiar laugh in the forbidden forest.

Ok so maybe it is his fault.

Destiny can go shove it honestly, merlins not amused.
