 So Dan knows that there’s heroes that have gone back in time, he’s aware of that fact. But he doesn’t exactly care and has more important things to worry about. Like the fact that Danny and Ellie are now three years old, right when he’s moving, though maybe that’s a blessing in disguise seeing as the GIW are searching for them in Amity. 

  But still, he has more important things to worry about than the speedster vibrating five feet away from him. Like making sure Ellie and Danny are alright to visit (ugh) Peepaw Clocky while he goes to work. 

  Ms. Mercy is not messing around, which he appreciates in a workspace, but he has to wait for another opening in the daycare before he can bring his, as far as everyone else is aware, siblings who he got emergency custody of. 

  What with how Jazz is interning in Gotham, they figured Metropolis would be safer. Now if the speedster would stop following him, he would really appreciate it. He’s literally just an intern under Ms Mercy as an assistant, not even one of the scientists, and it’s not like his timeline of the end of the world exists anymore!

Do you ever wonder if Riddle's UM puts a target on his back?

I mean, Azul definetely wants to steal Off With Your Head, not to mention STYX has a gadget that does the same thing...

I once joked that, whenever there is an assassination plot or something against NRC, the first thing the assailants do is put Riddle out of comission, to the point that Crowley even said that "There's no assassins in the school, they would've attacked Riddle by now!"

But what if the attackers decided to brainwash him instead? If you're going to challenge some of the strongest mages in the world, having their classmate with a broken UM under mind control is a good advantage.

Except that Riddle is INCREDIBLY stubborn, and the sight of an emotionless Riddle blindly following orders and almost overblotting from trying to fight the spell just made the students angrier (they won't say they're worried, since they're NRC students. Well, aside from Kalim and Silver).

The assassins then decided that it's better to just fight with magic than try to cancel their opponent's powers. Malleus and Leona throwing punches was already bad enough, but then Floyd came in for the squeeze and HERE COMES CATER WITH THE STELL CHAIR!!!!

The scariest one was Kalim, though. He does not appreciate people hurting his friends (also the whole Book 4 thing kinda traumatised him, even if he forgave Jamil).

Your describing Doleon and Starline as rivals with benefits made me think of the two of them having something where during the day, their thwart each other and get in each other's way and such ("Hold still so I can sacrifice you!" Been seeing the take that “YA is for teens and therefore should not contain sexual content” and it’s the most weird thing I’ve heard coming from leftist creators lol??

Better and more thorough sex education has shown to have a positive effect on teenagers, so why is it suddenly awful and disgusting for a healthy sexual encounter to be shown in a YA book? Not saying all of them should have them but we can’t pretend that teenagers aren’t having sex or experiencing puberty. It’s normal, not having sex is also normal!

Normalize healthy and positive experiences through the media that they engage in so that it’s less likely they have a bad one from being vulnerable due to not knowing things. I would much rather have a sexually active teenage kid who makes sure to stay safe then a teenage kid who is taken advantage of and feels ashamed of their sexuality.

Yes I am asexual. Sex repulsed/neutral depending on the day, but I think acting like teenagers don’t do this shit and acting like they are five years old is ridiculous.

( I also do think books should have content warnings on top of this but I just needed to rant because this is getting annoying lol :p )

Aw that superhero au looks neat!! I love your ideas for the thieves powers and their costumes. Is there any other information on it you'd like to share? What roles do the palace leaders play in this story?

This au is like, almost entirely vibes so far, so palace leaders are like... vaguely??? supervillains? in my head... some of them are probably lex luthor esque people who are powerful buisnessmen who commit crimes on the side...

I have however, thought way too hard about the powers each phantom thief has. Specifically joker--he can copy people's powers, but there are drawbacks, like... for example, superspeed takes a lot more than just being super fast--you also need to have a body that protects you from things like whiplash & all the million ways that running at 100 miles per hour would kill a regular human being. So joker is a lot better at copying those Main powers than the other small powers that make those powers work, so sometimes whey he say, throws a fireball he burns himself. this does not stop him from throwing fireballs <3.

uh. other facts i can think of: most of the characters gained superpowers in a single Event, similar to how the whole speed force thingie happens in the cw flash (i have not watched that show in years, idk if im remembering it right) and makes a bunch of meta-humans. akechi is the only phantom thief /thief adjacent character who didn't get powers that way--he was born with his regular abilities & got his black mask powers through evil experiments
