10 Mando fic ideas

(based off lines from Bo Burnham's Inside)

 1.       Should I be joking at a time like this? - Gallows humour from Din as he fights the Covert/Bo whoever. I don’t know just hit me up with dad jokes while in mortal peril.

2.       Went out to look for a reason to hide again – Luke visits Din, with the intent of remembering why the Jedi should remain a part of, but separate from, society (and fails).

3.       a frightening, liminal space between states of being – Boba in the Sarlaac, or when his dad died, or when the Tusken’s died. Basically Sad Man Boba (the second best after a latte).

4.       Your little girl didn’t do too bad – Leia, just Leia.

5.       And I'm really fucking sorry – Din is made to publicly address the Senate and apologise for his past as he ascends the throne, it sounds as genuine as a YT Booty Guru Apology.

6.       It was always the plan, To put the world in your hand – the hushed calls as the gang realise how politics are shifting, and things are lining up for the sequels.

7.       Twenty-thousand years of this, seven more to go – Luke and Din talk pre-ahch-to, post demise of Jedi School 2.0. Maybe Grogu’s gone, maybe he’s not, either way, it ain’t a happy time.

8.       Well, well, look who’s inside again – the lingering emptiness of there being no Force Ghosts to answer questions or pass judgment. The old have finally moved on, the young never even had the chance to stay.

9.       You say the whole world's ending, honey, it already did – Din, post-ahch-to. Maybe his whole clan’s gone. Maybe we all just need to check our tear ducts work.

10.   Like, when I'm asleep I feel alright – Grogu, on the razor crest, realising what he’s feeling is safe for the first time since Order 66.
