Rereading the Hels to Pay AU and I just thought of something: how did Tango eat when he was in Hels? From the comic it did not look like there was a way for Tango to eat, and in Hels to Pay part 4, there is confirmation that Tango does eat (Impluse and Tango at the pool scene).

So, how does Tango eat? Feeding tubes? Forced feeding for a doctor? Or having to starve to death repeatedly? Either way, some eating disorder angst can be written from this…

ooooo this is a fun question!! it was mentioned (very very briefly) during part 1, but tango actually didn’t eat at all while inside the hels tek farm! the constant regeneration effect kept his health up so he didn’t starve to death, but his hunger was always depleted.

mmm i can def see that still giving him a complicated relationship with food, though. immediately after his escape, there were probably a few close calls with starvation because he just forgot to eat. at the same time, he’d prob get protective over his food and react badly to any perceived threat/attempt to take it away. luckily for him i can’t imagine a lot of scenarios where that would come up, but it’s def something to consider!

She doesn't talk too often but when she does she's got absolutely no volume control. Either he's shouting at the top oh his lungs or quietly muttering. The mask doesn't help. He's very physically animated though and gets most of his points across with gestures and miming shit out. She does know sign language just doesn't use it that often

You know how in cartoons when someone runs really fast they leave little flaming tire trails? I like to imagine that happening with him.

In my mind Scout and Pyro enable each other's silliness. Like Pyro hypes Scout up to jump off the roof with an umbrella parachute and Scout helps Pyro cover random shit in stickers. So Flare really just has no fucking impluse control. Just zero. Please don't dare them to do anything because they Will fucking do it

building off that, audhd king. Constantly stimming constantly switching activities and fixations. You know the elopment thing where autistic people just sort of wander off? Yeah if you need her to stay in one spot you better fucking find something for her to do with her hands or she will not be there when you look back. He's always ending up in the strangest fucking places too like how did you even get up there? Speaking of mental health she absolutely still has some pyroland type delusions. I'm don't really know that much about these sorts of things though so I'm not going to talk on it too much until I do some more research.

There's a moment where Gem calls Impluse 'impy' and it's just so cute! Imagine like the other hermits hearing her call him that and they start to joke around by calling him it! Like imagine-

Impluse is with Grian as they are at Grian's base. "So impy-" "Wait! Did you just call me 'Impy'?" Impluse looks confused as Grian laughs. "Well yeah! I heard Gem calling you that and thought it was cute!" "Okay..."

"Hey Impy!" Cub says as he waves to Impluse flying in. "You too?!" He yells out as he felt embarrassed about this being his nickname now.

Doc smirks as he looks at Impluse as he sighs. "Not you too..." Doc in his very nice German accent says. "Oh Impy~ I have too." Impluse just sighs and shakes his head as he excepts his fate.

It was an accident really Raiden and the other stared as (Y/n suddenly went quicker staring down at the ripped plush. The only thing she had left of her father, before her eyes met (f/n) who started looking nervous. She matched her uncle's blank stare, which caused them to shudder at her sudden state.

Raiden nodded at Yuki who had run off to go look for one of the executives or atleast Manjiro. The brunette haired boy placed a hand on her shoulder hoping it would calm her down "My dad got me that..." she spoke calmly "... you ripped it..."

Before Raiden and Satoshi could properly react the girl lunged forward tacking (F/n) to the ground with a slam. The two boys stared in shock as her fist kept hitting their friend, the aura around the girl had turned eerily dark. Raiden knew this wasnt the (Y/n) he grew up with. It was Satoshi who moved to grab onto the girl's wrist.

"Stay back "

The two teens turned their heads meeting Manjiro and Sanzu, the silver man haired man only nodded looking at his niece before the pinkette wrapped his arms around the girl restraining her with one arm. Raiden watched in shock as Sanzu pulled out a syringe.

"Wait!"

"It's for the best..."

This seemed to fuel a new anger in both the boys as the glared at the older man, who looked at his niece going limp before he stared up at the roof. "We won't talk about what happened here... it the best she doesn't know..."

"What do you mean she can't know!".

"Manjiro had the same problem as a kid... his anger always sent him into a blind spiraling rage"

The silver haired man stayed quiet avoiding the stares as he took (Y/n ) from the pink haired man. It was unfortunately that she had the same dark impulse as him, he didn't want her to suffer like he did when he was younger. It would be better if she never knew of the incident instead of living in fear that she might hurt someone again.

i always found it weird how, despite how good of an actor and pragmatist raine is , they ran out to publicly denounce the emperor in their government clothes, in a shoddy disguise, and less than a couple hours after they botched their induction on live TV.

but i think about it now and i just put it down to a coping mechanism? of sorts?

i think the mask they were wearing around their evil coworkers was 'aloof, mysterious, down to earth and kinda strict', like how they interacted with that captain from OTWAT, but then it got completely blown in a humiliating way. it was fine, they can work with 'dorky, implusive, whispers', but at that moment they were itching to run away and actually get some stuff done

the second time we see such impulsiveness is when they suggest eda warps their magic to kill off eber and darius as a last ditch effort. this one i also didn't understand, because the batts were fine, so why was raine leaving them behind like that?

then it struck me that raine didn't know that. we knew the batts simply landed in the conformation, a place broken out of twice, and in a cell that upon closer inspection wasn't even locked, but raine saw none of it.

they were going off what they knew for sure, and that was when you betrayed the throne, you wrote your own death sentence. as they climbed through the ranks, they'd been brushing shoulders with some of the most casually cruel people the Isle had to offer, and so for all raine knew, the batts were already dead.

therefore, fueled with adrenaline and refusing to think about the worst of it, they decided to make use of the strongest weapon in their arsenal. and its important to note that raine did not initially know the spell would kill them (it forever pains me the way their voice cracks on 'we might not make it ourselves') but they were willing to go down with the ship if all other avenues were exhausted.

then it turned out eda had kids. then it turned out the batts weren't dead. then it turned out that darius and eber were trying to help.

can you imagine it in their mind? because of their implusiveness, they nearly put the whole operation in jeaporady. if they had gone through with their plan, then the entire rebellion would have been crushed, and king would have been an orphan (again).

so raine swears to not make the same mistake twice, and push eda away for her own safety. this is probably far from the first time this has happened, where raine had to restrain from helping someone just to make sure everyone as whole is safe.

but it's all for naught. eda does as eda does, and pushes through all of raine's barriers trying to reach them. (really want a fic where darius comes to tease raine after the parade, and be like 'how did you cope with terra breathing down your neck like that' but finds raine in tears. it's very awkward because they haven't repaired their relationship so much yet, but darius sits down anyway and. they talk <3)

the situation reaches a boiling point, where raine has no choice but to put her in the line of fire, but again, makes a mistake.

this one wasn't impulsive, i don't think. the plan made genuine sense: eda knew raine best, so they couldn't impersonate darius or eber. and she was going to be flanked by them anyway, so the plan was foolproof.

but it still failed. and so, desperate for just something, anything to go to plan, raine used up the last of their strength to save eda.

Also, you are right! Raine not knowing what happened to the BATTs once they ended up totally covered by Darius' abomination goo is not something that has occurred to me before. For all Raine knew, Darius killed them instantly by crushing them or sent them somewhere to die. Since the BATTs are basically Raine's kids, it adds a whole new layer to Raine being fully ready to murder Darius (and by extension Eber) and makes the decision make even more sense.

Darius messed with Raine's kids. No one does that. If you do, you die.

I'd like to think that after Darius really started becoming attached to Hunter and he conversed with Raine about what happened in Eda's Requiem, Darius went: "Honestly, I understand you more than I ever thought I would about being fiercely protective of the kids you are care about. If the situations were reversed, and I thought there was a chance you killed Hunter, I would have tried to murder you, guaranteed."

Also, yeah, not only would King be orphaned, no one left alive would have been able to tell King what happened to her. She would have simply disappeared and for all King knew she did willingly.

I agree about her impersonating Raine because she knew them best. Although, a big bonus to her impersonating Darius would have been the gloves, it would have covered the curse and probably would have prevented her from being discovered until it was too late. Unless, she made Darius so OCC the other Coven Heads knew it wasn't him.

I also think Raine wouldn't have let her impersonate Darius, Darius is their heavy hitter, they know firsthand how strong he is, I think Raine wanted Darius up there to help protect her.

Quick question: what gemstone Diaspro would assign to Winx Club girls (+ Roxy, Daphne, Mirta, Chimera, Galatea and Krystal)?

Okii! I'm doing this based on gem meaning bc magically dimension, magical gems. I don't think most of the jewelry Diaspro makes has magical effects, but if she's picking out specifically gems for each girl and not just going by color pallette (or just using blue and yellow for Bloom, Orange and Blue for Stella, ect ect) I imagine she's making something with a little more oomph

Bloom:

As soon as she is brought to think about it, Diaspro immediately picks Topazes for Bloom. A Topaz amplifies strength and enhances intelligence. Which is Diaspro calling Bloom a impulsive little danger magnet, with terrible decision making skills. In a loving way. They're friends.

Stella:

An Agate could of easily gone to Bloom instead, with it's it's ability to inspire courage and boost strength, but it's properties of enhancing mental concentration and giving the user a calm and centered mind what something she thought Stella could benefit far more from.

Stella, while much better at using her moon powers from s2 and compared to s1, still sometimes stuggles to connect to the more mental aspects of moon magic. Diaspro hopes a good Agate could help her a till she no longer stuggles with her moon powers.

Flora:

Probably the member of the Winx Diaspro is the closest. Picking a stone for the kind and understanding Flora was a struggle. She didn't know if she wanted to play into her passive powers, maybe giving her something to promote that power of hers, or maybe concentrate on Flora's nature and prompting her best traits. Eventually she settled on Bloodstone.

Bloodstone with its ability to boost courage, and enhance endurance and physical strength was Diaspro's favorite choice for the flower fairy who had the tendancy to get picked out by the Winx's enemies as a easy target. Hopefully it's abilities to protect the body and increase courage would make life easier for Flora.

Tecna:

Diaspro knows Tecna is smart, they've had a conversion before. She's seen Tecna in action. After much debilitation, Diaspro finally settles on Tanzanite. With it's ablity to strengthen's someone's intuition and encourage perception, it's a good fit for the fairy why already knows so much but stuggles to trust her gut.

Musa:

Easily the member of the Winx Diaspro interacts the least with. They do not mesh, and Diaspro has no clue how to talk to the girl. From what she did see, Musa has the tendancy to overreact and tends to be swayed by how she's feeling in the moment.

A Amethyst to promote a clear mind and quick wit to bolster the girls snarker and connective side is a clear choice.

Aisha:

Diaspro has known Aisha since childhood, and even though they were never close, the one thing she always knew about Aisha is that girl is stressy as fuck. Aisha is closed off, slow to trust, and had a tendancy to be worried about everything constantly to the point of chronic nightmares. Diaspro decided that she needs some Pink Beryl in her life years ago.

Pink Beryl brings positive energy, inner peace, confidence, and soothes anxiety and stress.

Mirta:

Mirta reminds Diaspro of Bloom and Flora in the best and worst ways. Kind to a excess, and implusive to a fault, Diaspro hopes the intuition and foresight enhancing powers of Emeralds will help the girl stay out of trouble, or at least avoid getting herself in another terrible situation.

Roxy:

Diaspro has met Roxy a couple times, mostly because Bloom wanted to dragged Roxy around the magical dimension a little so she can get a feel for it, and Diaspro's planet was one of those stops. From these few meetings, she saw just how, anxious and overwhelmed Roxy looked about magic as a whole. Diaspro decides she'd benefit from the grounding and protective ablities of Tourmaline.

Krystal:

Diaspro doesn't know Krystal very well, or at all, except that she's Roxy's friend and Bloom really wants to her and Roxy a nice gift, and Dia was wrapped into it.

A Sapphire to boost her connection to external magic sources, and to promote clarity was Diaspro's choice for the new fairy.

Chimera:

From what Diaspro was told about Stella's new little sister, and what she saw on the news, Chimera had a awful mother and is taking a lot of big steps in her new life. A Spinel to bring some hope, enegry, and joy for life, back to Chimera as she gets accustomed to her new loving life was a easy choice.

Galatea:

Diaspro has met Galatea a few times. Mostly at galas, sometimes though the Winx, and the girl is....certainly spirited. Which was the nice way of saying she has eccentric as hell and kind of a lot.

A Citrine to enhance her natural happy and energetic disposition made an appropriate choice. It's ability to affect health and luck was the more true reason for the choice. Diaspro is sure that the girl overly excitable girl would need it.

Daphne:

Dia is doing the usual political niceties when visiting Domino, and gifts Daphne a piece of jewelry with Diamonds, which has the ability to increase magical strength. All she really knows about Daphne is "powerful" and that is the meaning of and power of Diamonds so it works

What if just after chapter 5, every POV character got a copy of Last Christmas by Anonymous that was indestructible and could not be lost until Christmas is over, at which point it disappears? How does Renesmee, Garrett, Carlisle, and Bella react to their own POVs as well as the others'? I can imagine Garrett and Bella either being too busy or just uninterested to read it but if you could please also give them an impluse to read it as well? How does Renesmee and Carlisle especially react to Edward and Bella?

since the age of two, zian has lived in the small town of moorbrooke, maine. he was the youngest of the two lapointe children and he was also the more rambunctious one. despite being incredibly intelligent zian has always found ways to get into trouble in school, but his ability both dumbfounded and frustrated his professors. his implusive nature and quick witted tongue always got him sent to detention, suspended for a couple of days, or home with a letter that his parents had to sign.

things in his household were always a bit rocky. whether it were his parents fighting with one another, his father drinking too much, him getting in trouble, or his father taking out his anger on him, something always seemed to be going down. at first he cried at the pain beat whipping he got felt like, but eventually he learned  that life was going to end up kicking your ass one way or another so he might as well get used to it. and he did, he eventually did not cry when his father lost his temper.

tw: homophobia mention he was ten years old when he saw the movie the outsiders and had his first gay awakening. the moment his eyes landed on sodapop curtis, zian was a goner. he didn’t understand what he was feeling, especially after the shower scene, but he knew that he wanted to keep exploring these new feelings. somehow his father caught wind of what he was feeling and put a stop to it in the only way he knew how, also trying to drill into zian that  he ‘had to carry the family name one day’ with a kid of his own. eventually he learned to suppress these feelings as much as possible, but the thoughts still lingered in the back of his mind.

even though he doesn’t live with his father anymore these days, the guy is still very close to him, he still has a big influence in zian’s life. he’s not a quitter, something that he has proven again and again, especially when it comes to a fight. there’s times were even when he’s getting his ass handed to him he goes down swinging until he gets knocked out. he’s okay with losing just as long as he knows he gave it his all until the very end. he has a roommate that he gets along pretty well with which is still something that surprises him because he never thought anyone would be able to handle living with him for longer than an hour.

he had been working at brinie’s bar since he was twenty two. three years ago the bar came under owner ship of nadine dupont and zian couldn’t be happier with how things are. he’s loyal to her because he finds a sense of home with her that he’s never felt before, and he loves how she always seems to know how to knock sense into him. plus, fighting in her secret fight club also adds to the seemingly endless list as to why zian thinks he has the coolest boss around.

one day he wants to be a professional boxer and until that day comes he’s happy to be under the wing of demir kava-fortier. he knows he probably makes the guy want to scream sometimes because he can be very hard headed and not exactly the easiest person to work with, especially train, but there’s no one else that zian could imagine would be able to take on the challenge.

like i didnt think i didnt think that it was possible for his quirk but now that it has happened why has nobody thought about it before. the only reason why he uses his hands for his main power is to concentrate the pinpoint of it!! its totally possible for him to use it everywhere on his body!! AND ISNT THAT AMAZING??? SHAKES HIM LIKE A RABID DOG. THATS SO COOL!! katsuki never even realized it himself because most likely only concentrated on focusing on the power of his hands than elsewhere, like latching onto a thought as a kid and never pushing it anywhere.

Hey fellas...truly feeling weak right now. I can't remember the awful feelings tiktok brings me, only the way it distracts me from my own failing life. Deleting the app last time worked, my desire to go on it always died down when I remembered I'd have to download it again. But I am truly so low now that I am probably going to download it after posting this. I just don't see my life going fucking anywhere, so putting myself into the shitty vibes of tiktok doesn't seem that bad. This started as a jokey "Oh god tiktok is awful but i want to use it" post, but now I'm imagining impailing my forehead onto a comedically long knife, in the pitch black darkness of this apartment. It's just a fantasy, because stabbing through my skull sounds too hard to try it. Yeah, this week I was feeling kind of positive, because I managed to go to school on monday and tuesday. But then wednesday came along and my shoulder was so sore it hurt, so I used that as kinda of a lazy excuse to not go. Except i didnt even tell anyone about it, so it was just an excuse to myself. And i was fully aware that it was an excuse. I read the first few pages of the new thursday murder club book on monday, and i think my forehead impailing fantasy is in a house from the first book. Im not that sure but it was the house of a dead girl, which had been refurnished and sold again to some old man, and the cops came and replicated the crime scene to find possible leftover DNA and fingerprints? Was that murder club, or was it the random detective book i read that kept calling a woman manly for working out, and kept describing dead people really fucking weirdly? I looked it up the other book is called "Cruel and Unusual". It reads like fanfiction with okay writing, but nothing fucking happens. I thinks its in a series, but honestly it didnt matter? Like i dont think any amount of backstory can help with the fact that the book is boring, and at times very weird. Yeah those thoughts distracted me from tiktok but now i genuinely want to download it versus the implusive need to do so before.

Anyways if you want to read good books heres to recs: The Elementia Chronicles by Sean Fay Wolfe and The Ghosts of Heaven by Marcus Sedgwick

Note: The Elementia Chronicles is a three/four book long series, depending on which version(s) of the last part you read. It's still a great book series, and I wish I owned copies so I could reread them without needing to purposefully seek them out from a library. But if you want just a quick one book read The Ghosts Of Heaven is good. I absolutely despise some of it but just trust me the vibes save those parts.

cursing younger me for implusively deleting my old imagines blog from when I was like I wanna 16ish to about 19/20ish cause I remember writing a dragborn in the hobbit movies oneshot and it is lost to me even tho I really want to go back and add to it.
