I have a very important request if anyone is able. Is anyone here able and willing to help make a GoFundMe or some other means of donation to help provide food and medicine to the Kakuma refugee camp? I worry I wouldn't be able to properly manage funds and help donate to them correctly, but they don't have much of any food or medicine, and need the help. I learned this from @godwin5mizo, an advocate for oppressed LGBTQIA+ people in the Kakuma refugee camp, who can also help give you more information.

Behold, flora Castle, Aka, the punisher.

After the death of her sister and sister in law, floras parents had two reactions, her mothers, to freeze, disassociate, and stay still and silent, and her fathers, to take action through his role as captain of the police force, but after he dies in a run in with the spider crusader, flora thinks that there is no coincidence.

Convinced the spider crusader, must have gained powers by the spider her sister was working on, had staged the explosion to get away, and must had killed her father to keep anyone from finding out, with her mother paralyzed by grief, and no one else to turn to, flora, with the work of king pin, who allegedly saw the vigilante flee from the wreckage, will stop at nothing to take down the crusader and avenge her family.

I've tended and cared for this little guy since it sprung up as a tiny little twig, just at the front entrance to my mom and dad’s home, about 5 or 6 years ago. And to my surprise, even though it gets hardly any sunlight, it’s grown and prospered. Now it’s over a meter tall. And it’s getting too big and, when I visited home today, my dad tells me I've got to move it in the spring.

And if the move kills it, I will be a very unhappy man.

They don't like the amount of people that are trying to paint Roderick as some kind of heinous villain. Though a few people stood up for him, it seemed that the overwhelming majority were content to sweep those explanations aside without a second thought.

A growl threatened to rise in their throat, but Eleare was quick to swallow it down again. For all rights and purposes, they didn't know King Roderick of Exulan personally...and for those few that did know, they were under the assumption that it had been to attempt an assassination on him.

They'd been doing this for years, now. They gave up being able to be around Roderick for both of their safety...and now, the safety of their respective families.

Speaking of which...fiery gaze flits over to Prince Ezra, who was speaking in hushed tones to...they believed it was one of the Elohim children? The knight. Sarakael, if they were remembering right. He seemed to be trying to comfort the poor thing, who stood fidgeting with his hands, gaze affixed to the floor.

Eleare supposed that a good number of rumors were circulating about him, as well...people saying that he was naive, or bloodthirsty. Saying that Roderick had abducted him from his true parents. That he was helping to make alliances with other kingdoms and such in an attempt to give his father the opportunity to conquer them.

He was still fairly young-- around the same age as their older two, if they had to guess-- it was no wonder he was having a hard time with that gossip.

They step into the shadows for but a moment, and when the reemerge...it's as someone else. Someone that doesn't have to worry about approaching to give a piece of their mind.

"Honestly, how despicable can you lot get? You are aware that people have been imprisoned in many places for far less slanderous things; if not beheaded outright, are you not? And you call yourselves members of the court...people important enough to have secured an invitation to an event like this? Ha! Don't make me laugh-- there isn't a single one of you that has even a modicum of respect...nor grace, nor propriety. I would venture to say that even the common folk are more well-mannered! Perhaps you should consider retiring to your rooms, before you make even bigger fools of yourselves."

While their little speech did sow some outrage, it also seemed to have embarrassed or scared enough of them that the chatter about Exulan and their royals began to die down.

Good. It seemed like some of them just needed to be put in their place. Hopefully that would make things at least a little bit easier on Ezra...
