This ol' anon is a bit of a "borrower expert" and that borrower prompt sent my 4 braincells into intense debate mode, and all of them agreed that IF there are already borrowers in the Libra office building (which can be likely, it's a big place!) they'd most likely assume that the spellstricken borrower-ified s/o is being held captive by Klaus. Borrowers are skittish and need to stick together... but it's a bad idea to try and kidnap someone's romantic partner!

Klaus had gotten up to water his plants when something grabbed your arm. An unfamiliar voice spoke in a blend of three languages, something like English and German urging you to come with them. A second of these creatures was staring up at Klaus, eyes wide.
You realized they looked like you. Er- you looked like them.
The first one lightly tugged your arm, you moved to follow them. Sliding down the desk, running under the chairs, you followed. With a glance back at Klaus, now turning back towards where you had been, you vanished beneath the bookshelf.
Turning back to his desk, Klaus paused. Weren’t you just there? He glanced around the office. Where could you have gone so quickly? His brow furrowed, eyes moving back to the desk. A few papers somehow had gotten knocked around. One had the tiniest footprints across it?
“Leonardo.” The boy looked up. “Come here for a second.”
His eyes saw more of the tracks. Moving towards the bookshelf. Three sets, two that came first then three leaving. With focus, he could make out your silhouette as the third that was pulled. He hesitated to look back at Klaus, afraid to see his aura blazing with rage around him.
It was.
You couldn’t believe how many of these creatures lived in the office. The one who had grabbed your arm let go once you were within… something. Several pens and things thought misplaced were scattered around.
You couldn’t believe… How long were these creatures here? Did they think they were part of Libra?
“Klaus-” One tilted their head, “This was a bad idea, he’ll be looking for me.”
You could only guess at their response, “He won’t find you. It’ll be okay, the red one is much too bi-”
You couldn’t help chuckling at the timing as the shelf was moved.
Zapp shouted about one of his lighters as he snatched it up. The other creatures scattered- the one from before grabbing your arm again. This time you didn’t follow them, moving towards Klaus as he carefully set the shelf aside.
He knelt to offer his hand. The creatures behind shouted at you in confusion. But this was okay. This was Klaus. He would never hurt you. You saw the traces of a smile as he pulled you closer to his chest. This was good. This was right.
Well, for now at least. Until you- hopefully- turned back.

𝗮/𝗻: This is an AU where Reginald puts all the kids into a private school. This isn’t a fic where Klaus is striaght or bi, this is a friend fic. Klaus and the reader are best friends. The reader doesn’t have powers but the whole school knows the Hargreeves have powers and the reader has even more knowledge on the subject as she is close to Klaus.
Klaus Hargreeves was a special boy. As much as he would argue, being seventeen did not make him a man. He had a short attention-span, easily distracted, often talked to himself, never shut up, could not stop moving, always had to be doing something interesting, and most people just couldn’t handle him.
I was probably the only that could. I was patient. Amazingly so. ‘A saint’ the people at school called me. Then it kind of stuck and became a nickname of sorts. I also happened to be Klaus’ friend. Singular. Not plural. Like I said, no one else could really handle him.
The Hargreeves had come to our school at the beginning of high school. Their father, Reginald Hargreeves, didn’t think it would be best for them. Nor did he think them and their powers would be accepted in a private school. He was partially correct.
Luther fit right in with the other jocks, Diego mostly kept to himself. But even he had his own little group. Allison fit right in and got popular surprisingly quick, Vanya completely kept to herself. Even in a group of people without powers she still seemed to feel out of place.
Then there was Klaus. Klaus was very social… People just weren’t very social back. They couldn’t deal with his… energy most of the time. Except for me. We had met freshman year and Klaus definitely kept things exciting. But even with all the Hargreeves kids mostly finding their niche, not everybody was so open to their powers at school. The faculty, some of the more closed off students. But the kids were okay with it as long as they had people who were ok with them. And Klaus had me.
Currently, he had me not blowing up at him for throwing wads of paper in my hair for sport. We were in the middle of Economics and Klaus was obviously extremely bored. It had started about seventeen minutes ago and barley let up. It was a marvel he hadn’t been caught yet.
One paper ball thrown on my head.
I had flinched when he first started. Even jumped the first time. I hadn’t really expected it but with Klaus, I could never really expect anything.
Another paper ball thrown on my head.
Klaus not only had to make sure our teacher didn’t see him throwing wads of paper in my hair, but he had to avoid his siblings finding out. Both Allison and Diego were also in the class. It was even more surprising as Allison was sitting right next to me.
A third paper ball thrown on my head.
“Klaus,” a voice hissed, effectively stopping him for the time being. My lips twitched down. I look to the side where the voice came from, trying not to laugh as crumpled up paper fell off my hair and onto the floor. Klaus wasn’t so lucky. He was giggling like a mad man. Allison glares at us.
Our teacher looks up from her book and we freeze. Then a moment later, she looks back down from her book. We also just so happened to be in the middle of a test. Allison looked between the teacher and us.
“Klaus, stop ripping up your test and throwing it at the poor girl. Do your work and stop bothering her,” she snapped. She shook her head as she looked back down to her test. Once Allison was back and engrossed with her work, I spun around in my desk and faced Klaus who sat right behind me. Paper had flown everywhere.
“I dare you to keep doing it. Don’t stop,” I egg on with a smirk on my face and a plan in my mind. A Cheshire Cat like smile lights up his face.
“Ohoho. I will take that dare, my friend, and increase it a-tenfold.” He crosses his arms and leans back, waiting for me to turn towards the front once more. My smirk broadens and I turn back around to continue my test.
It didn’t take long for Klaus to once again start throwing paper balls at my head. The only sound in the room really was the scribbling of pencils, students breathing, and Klaus slowly ripping the paper from his test and crumpling it up to throw at me.

The old pile had all fallen out once I began to move about. But Klaus was working his way up to building it again. I counted the seconds. This was going to be perfect. Oh how my dear friend would never see it coming.

At this point, I was completely consumed by my plan. My test was forgotten, as was Klaus’ so I guess we were failing together. I grip the edge of my desk. It was coming. Klaus would surely know I planned this. Sure, he would be as pissed as he could be. Meaning that anger would shoot out in a burst and then it would be gone. He would be fine, we would be fine. But for this moment, I was sure to enjoy my act of revenge.
And a third ball of paper was thrown on my head.
Just as the teacher looked up from her book. I smirk. I turn back in my desk, the papers falling out of my hair. Klaus’ face was white as a ghost. His eyes flickered down to mine and he glared. I bit my tongue, trying to hold back a laugh.
“Klaus Hargreeves!” The teacher yelled, effectively gaining the room's attention. Klaus looked around and smiled, wiggling his fingers. Of course he would be enjoying the attention right now.
“Yes, Mrs?” Klaus asked with faux confusion. He had his charming face on right now. Oh… how many troubling situations we’ve gotten out of with that face. Luckily I added my own aspect to our partnership that I could use against him. Tears instantly appeared at my water line and Klaus’ look faltered. He knew.
“Are you ok, darling?” The teacher asked softly. I let a few tears flow down my cheeks and I whipped to face the teacher. A sob racked through my chest.
“Thank you for stopping him! He’s been tormenting me all class! All I wanted to do was focus and get a good grade on this test!” I say through my cries. Our teachers brows furrow deeply in sympathy. I exaggerate my tears and bury my face in my hands. I peak through my fingers just in time to see the teacher snap her gaze up and glare at Klaus. I couldn’t help but smirk. Luckily my mouth was hidden behind my hands.
“Mr. Hargreeves! Detention after school!” She yells before storming back to her desk at the front of class to retrieve a detention slip. Most of the class is snickering behind their hands. Klaus leans forward on his desk.
“You play dirty,” he whispers in my ear. His breath hits deep in my ear and I scowl. I swat his face away.
“Do we do it any other way?” I ask innocently, peering over my shoulder to look at him. ‘Betrayer’ he mouths. I giggle and face forward. I watch with satisfaction as our teacher hands him the slip.
After school I wait patiently outside of our Economics classroom. After detention ended I was ready and leaning against the wall outside the classroom with a few waffles and coco in my hand ready to give Klaus. Aka, the BEST way to gain his forgiveness. The door opened and a couple of students filed out. I looked at each of their faces as they passed. When Klaus wasn’t one of the few, I frowned deeply and walked into the classroom. I looked through the class and our teacher was the only one residing in the room.
“Mrs,” I say to gain her attention. She looks up front the work she was grading and smiles at me.
“What can I help you with?” She asks.
“Um… do you know if Klaus Hargreeves came to detention today?” I ask. Her smile instantly turns into a scowl.
“He didn’t attend,” she says lowly. I nod.
“Well, thank you, ma’am,” I say with a few more awkward nods before I turn around and make my way out of the room.
“If you see him, please inform him he has double detention tomorrow!” She yells after me. I can’t help but chuckle, walking at a quicker pace out of there.
I walk through the hall when I realize I may know where he is. If he’s there… I swear, I will throw this coco on his face. I storm out of the school and onto the football field. Right under the bleachers stood the stoners. Smoking joints and chugging alcohol. My eyes quickly spotted Klaus and my hand squeezed around the cup, denting it a bit.
“Klaus. Hargreeves!” I shout in a bubbling pot of rage. I smash the cup of coco and bag of waffles on the ground. He swore he wouldn’t give into this. His head snaps up to meet my figure heading towards him.
“Oh shit,” he shouts. He twists his foot on the ground and heads over to me. “Saint! Now what’re you doing here?” He asks, trying to sound genuinely curious.
“What’re you doing?” I ask, even though he reeks of marijuana. I grab his face and force his eyes wide open. “Are you high?!” I ask. We both knew the answer. Let’s see if he had the lady balls to not lie to me.
“As a kite.” He nods in my hold before pushing my hands off and stumbling forward. I sigh and follow him. Of course I was going to follow him.
“God, why are you doing this?” I ask, desperate for a real answer this time.
“Because it helps,” he shrugs loosely. My brows furrow and I catch up with his long strides. I try to keep up with him, even though he seemed to be stumbling in circles. I brush my hand across his shoulder.
“Helps? Helps with what?” I continue, speaking with disbelief even though I hoped we were actually getting somewhere this time. Klaus stops and faces me.
“It actually helps a lot going on in here,” he grumbles, shaking his hands up and down his frame. He doesn’t make a move to start walking again. His back was slouched and his lips were out in a pout. It was clear he felt I was scolding him… I was just worried.
I carefully take a step forward. I had a suspicion about what was causing Klaus to act out recently. I hadn’t wanted to say it or bring it up. But I think I needed to if we were going to get to the bigger issue here.
“Is this about Ben?” I wonder, my voice as quiet as a whisper. Klaus’ eyes fall to the side of me and towards the sky as he laughs lightly, not risking the chance to meet my eye and I take this as a sign I might actually be getting somewhere with this chaotic boy. He had a tendency to laugh the serious things of life off his shoulders. I slowly grab both of his hands. “Look. I know what happened to Ben was tragic. So tragic. But he wouldn’t want to see you throwing your life away just because his got taken,” I try and express to him. Klaus starts laughing again. Could I have been wrong. He swats his hand at me.
“Ben actually gets to watch me throw my life away and is completely fine with it,” Klaus states. He looks off to his left before he hisses a “Shhhh.” At the empty space next to him. My eyes go wide.
“Wait. Do you mean..?” I ask hesitantly. If he did what I think he did… Klaus spins lightly in a circle before facing me and nods.
“That good ole Benny-Boo is here? Yup!” Klaus grins, sending a wink to what seemingly looks like empty space.
“So you.”
“Yuh-huh,” he confirms. I hold my hands out. I wave my arms and smack the air around me. Just in case. I step back and spin slowly in a circle. When I stop, I look up to see Klaus mirroring my actions, but an eyebrow raised in question.
“Wow,” I say simply. He smiles. He saunters closer to me.
“Does that make you uncomfortable?” He asks, sounding smug. I immediately scoff at this. As. If.
“That a ghost is hanging around me and I can’t see where? What's uncomfortable about that?” I cross my arms with a shrug. Klaus slaps his hands on my shoulder and pouts.
“Well he’s stuck here so I guess we’ll both have to get used to it,” he says before stepping around me and walking along the field. I start moving with him.
“Ok… so if it’s not Ben, then what does all this nonsense help with,” I ask, throwing my arm in the direction of the stoners still smoking behind the bleachers. Klaus puts his hands in the shape of finger guns and knocks them against his temples.
“They help with the demons in my head,” he mumbles. My face drops.
“You mean the ghosts?” I lean in, talking quietly to him.
“Yup!” He shouts and I step back. I couldn’t believe they were bothering him again. He had gotten such a handle on it recently! I really didn’t want to see him retreat back to how it was before. I grab his hand softly and slowly turn his body in a new direction; making sure his intoxicated self wouldn’t be able to tell. If he was losing control, I would help him gain it.
“You’re letting them overpower you again… you can’t give them that control, Klaus,” I tell him. He became a mess if the ghosts got too powerful. Klaus uses his free hand to shrug.
“That’s what all this ‘nonsense’ helps with,” Klaus points out. I squeeze my eyes tightly. I didn’t like being this hard on him… but he couldn’t constantly do drugs and drink for his entire life. He had to get a handle on this.
“Well you can’t keep doing this,” I say. He blows a raspberry.
“Who are you to tell me what I can or can’t do?” He asks in a high pitched voice.
“Well to be frank… I’m all ya got.” I laugh lightly. Klaus laughs hysterically before he stops abruptly. He furrows his brows.
“That’s...thats…” he slurs. I look at him deeply. I couldn’t tell if the red eyes were from the drinking or the drugs. But the slur in his voice and the slouch in his form would explain it.
“So you’re drunk too?! That’s just great,” I deadpan.
“Well,” Klaus starts when he tenses up. “Hey! Where are we going?” He asks me, whipping his head side-to-side to look at his surroundings. We had been walking down many different streets in a short amount of time. I wince. He wasn’t going to like this.
“Cemetery. I’m going to help you,” I state. Klaus immediately tries to skid to a stop, his breath hitching. His body was tense and his hand tightened around my own.
“Wait—what? Nonono. I am NOT going back there,” he shouts. He tries to tug on my hand, hoping to force me back away from our destination. I clench my jaw, using strength to pull him along.
“If you want to get a hold on this, you’ll have to. And if you want to keep me in your life, you will,” I say, my voice coming out strained. Klaus was surprisingly strong.
“And—and who says I want to keep you in my life?” He stutters, his own voice sounding tight. So he was having trouble tries to keep me back. Good to know I wasn’t as weak as I felt.
“Well if everyone’s right about how you feel about me…” I trail off quietly. Suddenly all tension in Klaus’ body flies away and he springs forward, matching my step.
“Ha ha ha. Well I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I swing for the other team, my friend,” Klaus informs me. My face twists. Did he think? Ew! No way in any timeline would I— ugh. No. That is just— no.
“God, Klaus! I do not have feelings for you! Believe me, gay is not my type. I prefer guys who would prefer me too,” I state, pulling him a little quicker. I look up as Klaus’ face drops. He pouts and slouches his shoulders forward, looking at the ground moving in front of us.
“Well… well then what did that comment mean?” He asked, almost sounding as if he were sulking. I squint up at him.
“Are you..?” No… this would be way too funny. “Are you actually disappointed I don’t have feelings for you?” I ask with amusement. Klaus shrugs and trudges along with me.
“Well it would make things more interesting, that’s for sure.” His pout deepens. I laugh loudly and by the time I finish, Klaus is looking at me with the utmost offended look I had ever seen by the drama queen.
“Then I’m sorry to burst YOUR bubble,” I tease, knocking my shoulder against his. Klaus goes from a deep pout to a wide and joyous smile.
“That’s alright!” He shouts. He keeps his hand in my own but moves the same arm to rest over my shoulders. My arm was uncomfortably rested across my chest, but I would survive. “You’re still my best friend!” He exclaims. I smile softly and rest my head on his shoulder.
“And if you wish to keep me as such, you’ll try and do this… THAT'S what the comment meant,” I explain softly. After a minute or two, Klaus sighs deeply and turns his head to face the side of mine as I look forward to the street we’re turning to next.
“Only for you,” he murmurs through clenched teeth. I laugh and nod. Because we both knew we would do anything, accept any dare, and risk our lives if the other asked.
Klaus and I now stand still at the entrance to the cemetery.
“So what are we doing?” Klaus asks quietly. I inhale and exhale deeply. I brush my thumb over his hand, hoping it’ll keep him calm.
“We’re just going to take a walk. I’m not going to leave you alone, or trap you anywhere, or keep you here if it gets too much. I just want to take a walk. When they start yelling, I want you to demand obedience from them. You hold the power here. They listen to you,” I express. Klaus takes a moment before he nods. I take a step forward and wait for him to follow. He eventually does and we begin walking.
I watch him carefully as we pass the graves. He seemed to be alright at first. His face was calm. He kept his eyes closed, though. The deeper we walked in, the more worried I got. Klaus suddenly winces and I stop us.
“Klaus… show those ghosts who’s the boss,” I whisper. Klaus’ face slowly begins to relax.
“Yeah. Back off!” Klaus whispers back. I smile and move us forward again.
I keep watching him carefully. He quickly frowns again and he quickly begins to whimper.
“Klaus, you are in charge here. They are meant to listen to you. Not the other way around,” I say. Klaus tightens his grip on my hand.
“Stop. All of you stop it! Just, shut. Up,” he grounds out.
“Wahoo! Yes! You show them who’s got the real power here!” I cheer him on. When he makes no move to react, I frown. “Am I distracting you? I’m probably distracting you. I’ll be quiet,” I mumble. His body continued to tense up and he was beginning to have a hard time waking forward. I wanted to whisper, or call out of him. I wanted to gain his attention… but I knew he needed to focus.
“No. No, no, no. Stop it. Be quiet. Please, just—“ Klaus staggered forward falling onto the ground.
“Klaus? Klaus!” I yell, dropping to the ground next to him. Klaus is quick to curl into himself. He was whimpering and crying and shaking like mad. I tug him close to me and I begin to rock.
“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, I thought this would help. I thought you could get a grip on your power if you just had the right support,” I whisper in his ear. “Can you stand? I’ll get you out. I just need your help,” I add. He nods curtly.
I lightly push him off of me and I stand. I lean forward and grab his arms, both of us working together to get him standing. I drag his arms around each of my shoulders and I hurry us out of there.
As we get out of the cemetery, we both fall onto the ground. I take most of the force, Klaus safely keeping from more harm on my back. He groans, rolling off of me. I turn my head to look at him, my eyes filled with sorrow, regret, and shame. I only hoped he could see it. He looked back at me, looking exhausted, tortured, and haunted.
“You tried,” he says breathlessly. “It will take time,” he adds. My eyes widen comically.
“You want to do this again?!” I whisper harshly. He shrugs as well as he can and gives me a small smile.
“I said I’d try, for you. I had a handle on it for a minute… maybe next time I can last a little longer.” He smiles hopefully. I close my eyes and grab his hand.
“Do you think it would be wrong to nap outside of a cemetery?” I mumble. Klaus chuckles.
“Don't think so. May be a bit biased tho.” We both laugh quietly for a few moments before we pick each other up and head back to the academy.

As a boy that frickin’ LOVES Five, I was so excited to write this!❤️
Word Count - 871
!!Caution!! - There is homophobic slurs in this because I wanted to make it angsty, I promise that I’m not homophobic. (I’m trans and bi so this story is my fucking shit.)
Also I added in the bowling alley scene but I made it so that the Reader and Five are there when the “Exterminators” come for him, just because I wanted to make it angsty-er.
Five Dating a Male Reader Would Include:
• When you first meet each other, you’re at the library studying for some school project that you don’t care about.
• He comes up to you and asks where a specific book is.
- “Hey man, I’m really sorry but I don’t actually work here.”
- “I know. I just wanted an excuse to come over and talk to you.”
- He gets all shy and blushy which is VERY UNLIKE HIM.
- “Oh.”
• Instead of acting all weird, you’re all like, Um YES.
- “Also now that I’ve put myself out there, i actually really do need you to help me find this book.” You guys just kinda chuckle shyly, (HOLY SHIT Y’ALL ARE SO CUTE)
• You guys go on your first date to Griddy’s for coffee.
- “The fact that you like coffee as well just makes you ten-times cuter than before.”
- “Thanks Five.” Blushy boi
• Half way through the first date he takes your hand and hold it across the booth.
• Helping each other study
• For your second date you guys go to the library, and pick out books for each other.
- you kiss him in the book stacks.
-• It was yours and his first kiss.
• Isn’t really into PDA unless it’s to prove a point.
• Pretty much just hand holding in public, but when y’all are alone, it’s fucking cuddle central.
• When June comes around, the local Pride parade was on the same day as your three month anniversary.
• Five hadn’t come out to his family, so he snuck out of his window with his pride flag in a backpack.
- “hey Five. Where ya goin’?”
- “I would tell you Klaus. But I don’t care.”
- “Okay. Have fun with your boyfriend.”
- “HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?”
- “WAIT YOU’RE GAY?”
- “YEAH?”
- “I WAS JUST MAKING FUN OF YOU.”
- “SHIT.”
• So.
• Klaus now knows that Five is gay.
• Klaus walks Five and you to the parade -
- “Just to make sure that if anybody tries to fuck with you, I can fight them.”
- “...I’m an assassin Klaus.”
- “I know but still, you’re my baby brother. And my baby brother’s adorable boyfriend.”
• When you guys get home from pride, you guys go through the front door, but you let go of each others hands before, just because Five isn’t ready to come out yet.
• “What is on your face!?”
- “Luther calm down.”
- Klaus and Diego try to hold Luther back while Allison and Vanya rush over to you two.
- “Wha-what’s happening?”
- Five and you are so confused,
- Until you look over at him and realize that he has a temporary tattoo of a pride flag still on his face.
- “Five baby-“
- “WHO ARE YOU?” Luther just being a dick head.
- “HE’S MY BOYFRIEND.”
• You start tearing up because this is not how he wanted to come out, but he’s defending you.
• Everyone is shocked (except for Klaus)
•Vanya is the first one to hug you two.
- Then Allison.
- Then Diego.
- And Klaus, come up too you two and hold both of your cheeks.
- “You two are so cute. And so fucking gay. I love it.”
• Luther takes a bit of time to warm up to the idea of Five being gay, but by next years pride, the entire academy is out at that parade wearing all rainbow and ally pins.
- Klaus is wearing leather pants, a rainbow tie dye crop top and a literal cape that is a pride flag.
• You guys are soft gays, like the sweetest and smolest gays to ever gay.
• One time when the Academy and you guys were walking downtown some guy started to harass you and Five, saying things like:
- (!caution! anti-LGBTQ+ slurs)
- “WHAT A BUNCH OF FAGS.”
- “FUCKIN’ HOMOS.”
- Etc, etc.
• Five and the rest of the academy are about to go fuck this guy up,
• You walk right up to the man, you’re so close that you can feel is spit on your face.
- YOU FUCKING DECK THIS OLD GUY.
- The academy is quaking.
- You shake off your fist, and walk away, grabbing Five’s hand.
- “That was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.”
- “Thanks babe!”
• Klaus puts his hand on your shoulder and says,
- “You are my new hero, and I hope that you know that.”
• When you’re all at the bowling alley, and Kenny’s mum comes up too you and asks, ‘wouldn’t your sons like to play with kids your own age?”
• Y’all are like “Umm tf? We aren’t brothers???”
• When the “exterminators” come to kill Five, he pulls you into him and says,
- “Follow me, and don’t let go of my hand, okay?”
- You just nod.
- When they take off down the alleys you and Five and running as fast as you can.
• Five would be such a gentleman, tbh.
You guys would just be so extremely cute, and

Who is your favorite character in 2?
i’m a simple gay. it’s klaus for sure. i mean come on.
Who is your favorite character 1?
data! he’s the reason i got into the show when i was a kid, and i still have a huge attachment to him. i see a lot of parallels in his “android trying to be human” plot and my experience as a trans person and as a mentally ill & neurodivergent kid.
What is your favorite episode of 4?
ooo okay this is hard ?? i do really like the coral palms episodes where jake & holt are in witness protection and being bc they’re dynamic is def my favorite of the entire cast. i also love almost all the doug judy episodes (except the most recent one ugh cops still be coppin).
overall though, i’d have to say season 5 Ep 9: “99.” we got rosa being confirmed bi. we got road trip content. we the squad supporting holt. good shit.
(also controversial opinion alert? i don’t like the last few seasons’ halloween heist episodes that much. i’m a Sensitive Babey and i just want them to be nice to each other. plus the way they get during the recent heists just feels kind of ooc to me?? idk)
What is your favorite season of 5?
Disjointed only has 2 seasons (or “parts” as they’re called on netflix) with ten episodes each 😔. i guess the first season, but there’s no dramatic shift in quality or whatever. the second season puts a lot more focus on romantic relationships and a realer plot & it’s fun, but i’m really just in it for the found family stoners & dumb little gags sjkssj.
Who is your favorite couple in 3?
chidi and eleanor. it’s the obvious choice, but i’m not exaggerating when i say that their romance completely changed the way that i viewed love, soulmates, and fate. before this how i used to believe hardcore in soulmates (not to knock anyone who does, i’m not the authority on the universe jsksjdks).
but chidi realizing that soulmates don’t exist in the good place when he spent his entire life wishing for one perfect person, and choosing to be with eleanor because he grew to be deeply in love with her was just *chef kiss.*
it made me realize that there’s something insanely romantic about just choosing to be with someone. maybe i didn’t know them in past lives long forgotten. maybe they aren’t a part of some cosmic plan. maybe it’s even lovelier that i’ve gotten to meet someone, to get to know them, to get close to them, to fall in love, to try, to choose them, to make them my soulmate. i’m rambling on i just loved that the good place explored that idea.

What is your favorite episode of 1?
oh there’s wayyy too many good episodes for me to figure out my absolute fave. i love love every data-centric episode tho. i also love the episodes where they time travel jdksks.
What is your favorite episode of 5?
i’d say part 1 ep 3 “rutherford b haze” (yeah this show’s about as intelligent as the ep titles would suggest). the gags and jokes in this one one crack me up tbh.

andy samberg hands down. i mean come on. i think half of my sense of humor comes from watching him on SNL and thelonelyisland’s youtube channel as a kid. he’s hilarious.

TNG. it’s a big comfort show. it’s interesting & immersive enough to distract, but fun enough that it’s not stressful.

tell me the first song that made you stan your current fave group and why did your faves attract you so much?
ok SO the song that probably got me into rv 100% (also yes ik this blog is 99% nct but rv is my forever fave no question) was probably ice cream cake!! i had been a casual listener of many groups up until that point and had never really stanned anyone, but icc was so infectious i found myself watching it over and over. i had heard happiness and be natural before but hadn’t really listened too closely, so icc was the song that captured me. after that, dumb dumb only cemented my love for them more, and the red is still one of my favorite kpop albums to date. rv attracted me primarily because of their incredible vocals and their versatility in genres and concepts. i still get so excited wondering what they’ll tackle next!! they’re just soooo unique and have one of, if not the best discographies of any group. i cannot stress enough, I. Love. RV!! also they’re funny and gay so. anyway stream monster once it drops uwu

ooooo honestly??? probably something off of Sawayama. literally every song bangs so hard i highly recommend that album to anyone!! i can’t pick a favorite off it but who’s gonna save you now is awesome and xs is just,,, chef’s kiss
2. what is your greatest mishap when you tried cooking? (or something you’ve witnessed)
one time, while making soup at my late grandmother’s house on her like gas stove, i put a lid on a pot and somehow that led the pot to be engulfed in flames. IN MY DEFENSE i was like 7, and i’m great at cooking/baking now
3. what’s your go-to outfit or article of clothing?
oh i love a nice dress. they can be casual or formal, and you look like you put effort into your outfit except i didn’t because i didn’t have to match anything yo!!!! also shorts have trouble fitting me cause i’m a weird body type so dresses tend to be very comfy for me
4. what is your comfort food?
am i allowed to say like all food??? eating in itself is comforting,,, that sounds depressing but also i just like eating yummy food. i guess i’d say like my dad’s fried rice?? its my fave and no one makes it like him soooo

i couldn’t tell if this meant like, a good moment you want to re-experience or go back in time and redo a moment and fix it. it’s kind of a hard question so i might cop out and go with a bit of a silly answer: i want to relive the hi touch with astro...... i wanna look at rocky’s beautiful eyes and touch moonbin’s hand ok,,,,

i got a bunch but a few off the top of my head are genie lo (the epic crush of genie lo), ty lee, suki (atla), klaus, and ben (umbrella academy)

ice cream flavor: this very specific one from a local store that is banana ice cream with strawberries and oreo mixed in. it is heaaaavenly. as for pizza topping, i love a breakfast type pizza with an egg on top and like sausage and stuff!!!
8. what is the worst injury you’ve ever had or witnessed?
funny enough, i’ve actually gotten badly injured quite a few times, and always on the face!! god hates me. the worst was probably when i hit a metal bench with my face and it took a chunk out of my cheek. i still have the scar! as for “witnessed” i accidentally broke a grown man’s rib once as a child, so i guess that would count.
9. would you rather explore the unknown of space or the bottom of the ocean?
oceaaaan!! i answered this in some other game, but i like how mysterious and yet close the ocean is. like proximity wise it’s so near, yet there’s an insane amount we know nothing about. that’s so frightening but so intriguing

Anon Request: Some platonic Klaus x reader angst about Dave....ya
It had only been a matter of days since I’d last seen Klaus Hargreeves. The last I saw of him was as he gleefully traipsed out of rehab on the account of his father dying, but he didn’t seem bent out of shape about losing his old man. Shit, if I had to put his reaction into words, I’d say he was released more than anything. I’d met my date with destiny not too long after he did and entered the world clean again. Of course there was an itch--I don’t think there will ever NOT be an itch for a fix--but I’d pushed myself too far and was “lucky,” as the doctors put it, to be alive. Never once did those bastards step back and think whether or not I wanted to be here, but that’s a conversation for a different day--one where I didn’t watch the shell of the man I’d recently known to be Klaus Hargeeves stumble off a bus and smash a briefcase into smithereens.
“Hey!” I shouted over the roar of street traffic and started to jog toward the lanky junkie I’d met over a year ago in the very rehab we’s just both been released from. I’d admit that I hadn’t expected the briefcase he was slamming on the ground to spontaneously combust, but I also had to admit that, when he and I were around one another, crazier, more unexplainable shit had gone down.
Catching up to him was a bitch and a half, but once I reached him as he crouched down in the alley beside the old umbrella factory--the one I remember he explained he grew up in--he was visibly different. The playful friend I’d made in rehab, the constant companion I knew I had after meeting once and fucking up my life with, the person who I trusted more information about my life with than my own family, was completely transformed. “Klaus?” I said softly as I approached the man crumpled on the ground before me. In all the times I’d visited him or come across his path in the past year, I’d never seen him wear such earthy and bland colors. If he wasn’t wearing black, he was wearing something colorfully popping in contrast to his normal apparel. This tattered looking military uniform was uncharacteristic for the person I’d come to know.
“Y/n?” I heard him ask as he peered over his arms, which barricaded all ability for him to see the world around him. Even if I couldn’t recognize him by his current state, I could recognize that defense mechanism in an instant. It was what he did when he was having a bad trip--he’d bury his face in his arms and cover his ears as best he could, even if it meant shoving his head between his knees and squeezing his eyes shut.
“Yeah, it’s me,” I said again, even softer this time. It took a while for Klaus to fully open up to me, but when he did, it was when we were both too fucking high to really realize the extent of what he’d said. I wouldn’t realize until later the trust he had in sharing what he had with me--the fact that he was one of the famous Umbrella Academy heroes and that his abilities, and his father’s treatment, had driven him to self-medicating--and he wouldn’t realize until later that telling me was probably the smartest thing his dumbass had done in a while. After suffering for so many years with crippling anxiety and having to learn to pull myself from the horrors in my head and into the world around me, bringing other people out of overpowering anxiety and panic is what he deemed my superpower to be. I pressed my thumbs into each of his palms as my hands grasped his so tightly, he had not choice but to latch on or lose himself to whatever images threatened his mind. “Is this blood?” I found myself asking him as I glanced down at our locked hands. If I hadn’t been tuned into his every movement, I would have missed the slight, apathetic and hopeless nod that caused a curled lock to fall into his face.
I tried to imagine him happier, to remember how he was the first time we’d shot up together. At that point we had known one another for about three months and sure he had an obviously tortured soul, but he at least had gleeful look in his eye as he stuck himself and knew he would further elongate his high.
“You’re what?” he’d gasped moments later in response to my trust in him as we reclined on a raggedy old couch I had gotten from a second-hand store to furnish my sad excuse of an apartment.
“Ace,” I replied defensively. “Gotta fucking problem?” I questioned in a rather teasing tone. I’d always tried to downplay explaining my sexuality, mostly because ever since I’d came out to myself and those I figured I’d cared enough about, I’d been treated as if I was making shit up.
“Sounds like you have a fucking problem,” he tried to tease only to straighten himself up and peer over at me. His voice dropped and his eyes gazed across my face. “That was shitty. Fuck! I’m sorry, (Y/N),” he hurried to say and lightly press his thumb to my jaw. “I think it’s badass you can be that true to yourself. How long have you known?”
“Always I suppose. The other kids were interested in learning about sex in health and shit and I was to eager to get the fuck out of there.”
“Well, I don’t want to be more insensitive than I have, but do you think you just haven’t met the right person? Guy, girl, anyone?” he’d asked.
“I’m not a prude or a virgin, Klaus,” I’d said back to him with a mix of anger and regret in my voice. It took a shit tone of chemically altering my pysche to trust myself enough to open up to people, and I didn’t want to deal with the consequences of trusting the wrong person. “I’ve tried, but I’ve never been into it. Anytime I’d convince myself enough to even be with someone, it felt forced and apathetic...even like I was being raped.” My admission had floated into the air from my mouth as quickly as the heroin had taken over my body, and I didn’t expect it to stick in Klaus’s head the way that admission had stuck in mine for years. I turned sightly to look at how he was looking at me. His large, hazel eyes seemed to envelope my soul and I couldn’t help tilting my check into the hand he had gently pressed along the side of my face.
“Strange how two people so fucking opposite can get along so well,” he sighed and slipped an arm around me.
“No shit,” I sighed, “what are you, if you don’t mind my asking. Gay, bi, pan? It doesn’t matter to me! I just want to use proper pronouns around you, especially if I’m going to be sharing my good shit with you!” He feigned a look of disbelief quickly followed by a laugh. "Come on, Klaus, I’ve known you for how long now? I’ve noticed you’re about as straight as a limp noodle.”
“If I’m a noodle I better be a fucking farfalle,” he laughed.
“Be whatever you want,” I sighed through a laugh in return.
“I’m thirty and I haven’t exactly figured it out yet. I’ve been with women, men, trans-women, trans-men. I’m defiantly on the spectrum though.”
“That’s not what that--Klaus, you’re too fucking high.” I’d groaned at his comment and tried to ignore the obvious confusion he had toward my reaction.
Back then I didn’t know that the mess of a man beside me would later become my truest and closest friend, but right now, that was the moment I held onto as I grasped his hands and pleaded for him to look me in the eyes. He was a stubborn ass when he wanted to be, but right now, he was broken and scared in a way I’d never seen in him before.
With a little force, I stood from my crouched position beside him, made sure his hands remained in mine, and pulled him up with me. One of his arms instinctively dropped around my shoulders and I slung one of mine around his back to hold onto his other hand. “Come on, Klaus,” I said while supporting some of his weight with my shoulders. I let his feet lead the way and remained a support system for him. He made a rigid path toward the old umbrella factory doors and I took a deep breath.
My best friend needed me. That was my only focus. Not the lavish upbringing he had filled with luxuries and amenities he had that my family could have only dreamed existed, only Klaus. I’d managed to get his grimy, dirt covered, and bloodied self up a flight of stairs and moved alongside him as he made his way into a bathroom. He collapsed again on the floor of the bathroom and leaned his spine against the clawfoot tub that sat in the middle of the room.
“Klaus, talk to me,” I pleaded with him again.
“Just, just go away, (y/n),” he sighed heavily as he tried to shut the world out once more.
“Klaus, don’t push me away,” I stated while pulling myself next to him. I leaned forward on my knees, allowing the pain of having my bony joints sink into the hard floor.
“You-you can’t begin to understand what I feel,” he said again, this time in a harsher tone. He was defiant and angry, something I’d never seen from Klaus, especially not when it was aimed at me. I opened my mouth to ask him what he meant, but nothing came out. “You’ll never know what I’m feeling!” he burst. His body shook as he let out what seemed to be a last stitch gasp for life. His eyes were fierce and grim as his hands curled into fists and shook under the emotional stress he was under. “You’ve never loved someone to be broken when they’re gone!” His voice was only a few decibels over the broken whisper he’d spoken with in the alley, but it felt like a burning scream, a slap in the face...a dagger to the heart.
“You’re hurt. You don’t mean that,” I processed for him as he crumpled before me again.
“(Y/n), just...just go,” he sighed while trying to push my hands from his.
“Klaus,” I sighed, “you don’t know what you’re talking about. Don’t you dare push me away.”
“Just stop, (y/n)!” he said with tears falling from his eyes, making long, muddy streaks along his cheeks and down his neck. “Stop,” he sighed again hopelessly. “You don’t...you can’t...”
“What, love anyone?” I asked and looked at him with a catch-22 accusation. Not only could I see the initial, broken and empty look in his eyes that he had when he got off the bus, but he also looked like he was trying to force me into not caring about him--into being okay with abandoning him in his time of need to justify the fact that either no one cares about him or that life is hopeless and empty. “You’re my best fucking friend, Klaus. I do love you, more than I love myself, but that’s not news to you and you know it. It may not be the way you’re talking about, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t true! You know me, Klaus. You know somewhere behind the pain I have always, and will always be there for you. You’re my farfalle and I’m your huckleberry. Regardless of everything else, I love you, so when you’re ready, I’m here, and if you don’t want anything, I’ll still be here, because it hurts too much to know you’re in this much pain.” My hands continued to press around his tightly and I brought my eyes to look directly into his. He sighed hopelessly as his lips quivered, but his arms lurched forward and pulled me closer until I too was covered in dirt, grime, and blood.
“Thank you, Huckleberry,” he whispered lightly through his pain and wrapped his arms around my neck, clinging to me like I was his last life line. I placed my hand at the base of his neck, much like he encouraged me to when pulling him out of a bad trip or a panic induced moment.
“Never a problem, Farfalle.”

alright so it looks like y’all want it, so here’s the ASOUE Disney Descendants AU that I came up with and @afarmforthree and @hongmoondescendant made the mistake of encouraging me to actually flesh out
So it’s vaguely similar to the plot of Descendants except I fix plotholes as I go along bc I’m in charge now.
In case you are unaware: basically the Disney Heroes got sick of their Villains’ shit and shoved them on an island protected by a barrier that can only be broken with magic, which only the heroes have now. Then everyone had kids.
The Baudelaires are the kids of Belle and the Beast, which like... works way too well.
Violet is the eldest at 16 and got her inventing skills from her Mom’s side of the family. She’s Crown Princess, and she’s got an upcoming ceremony to officially announce her as heir. (No she’s not being crowned Queen, she’s like a baby *side-eyes original movie*)
Klaus is 14 and definitely takes after his Mom. He’s a huge reader and plans to be either Castle Researcher or a Lawyer. He is, however, incredibly protective of Violet, so he basically turns into her bodyguard during the plot, whether she likes it or not.
Sunny is roughly 3, and she’s very cross that her Dad didn’t want to stay a cool-looking beast with dancing dishes. She aspires to get cursed and have claws. She somehow already has fangs.
Also Friday is here, she’s 9 and the daughter of Kida and Milo from Atlantis. She’s here to study Auradon culture and she is everyone’s little sister. She wants to be a Researcher like her Dad, so while she’s in Auradon she idolizes Klaus and follows him everywhere.
Anyway, Violet feels bad about the Villain Kids on the Isle, and she’s like “hey what if we set up an exchange program where we take a couple VKs and let them study here” and her parents are like “great idea which ones do you want” and Violet is like “Maleficent’s triplets and Ursula’s daughter are hot so we’ll take them” (okay that’s not her actual reasoning but she is still bi as hell)
So the kids they take to Auradon Prep are The Quagmire Triplets, the children of Maleficent, Fiona Widdershins, the daughter of Ursula, and Carmelita Spats, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts.
Duncan is highkey really bad at this whole “evil” thing so Isadora and Quigley kinda overcompensate a little so their Mom won’t be too bitchy to him. He really wants to prove himself but he also just. does not want to hurt anyone. Taking this detail from one of the Descendants books, Maleficent keeps comparing him to his human dad, who the triplets never met but have been told was quite a disappointment. So he has like. no self-esteem.
Isadora is basically the ringleader, though Quigley sometimes takes over when she can’t think of something. She’s extensively studied magic, though it’s very limited on the Isle, and is an expert at spellcasting, mostly because spells tend to be couplets, like her special interest. She also has purple hair bc I said so.
Quigley is basically the second leader of the Isle Kids. He’s also super into magic, though he’s not as good at it as Isadora, so he’s mainly the strategist and thief of the group, as he’s pretty good at stealing shit and making plans.
Fiona is the First Mate on her brother’s pirate crew (though they can’t really sail anywhere, seeing as they’re trapped on an island). She’s the oldest of the squad at 16, and she’s been known to stab people on occasion and collect poisons “for later use.” She also has a bit of magic from her Mom, but she’s less interested in it unless it’s For Science.
Carmelita is 14 and has been raised as if she was still a princess, so she’s extremely entitled and bratty, and she keeps trying to execute people. She’s been raised to be a perfect princess, so her goal is to marry some rich idiot and then do whatever the fuck she wants forever. Despite her brattiness, she is useful to the team, both as an excellent distraction and because she’s surprisingly good at acrobatics.
So when the Villains are told “hey is it cool if we let your kids transfer over for a school year k thnx” they’re like “perfect opportunity to send them to steal the Fairy Godmother’s wand from that museum and release us from this stupid island” so. yeah that’s what they do
Except things go very wrong when the Baudelaires are actually super nice and give them books and positive attention and the VKs are like “what the fuck is this” and also Quigley and Duncan get huge crushes on the Princess and Prince.
Also Connie gets to use her Autism Superpowers to make Obscure Trivia References out of her Disney hyperfixation so

Allison x fem reader where the reader is Allison’s fiancée (I don’t know if that’s right) and meets the family but Luther is a salty bitch
If you follow me, you KNOW I think Luther is a SALTY bitch. In this house hold we do NOT condone Luther.
"Allie..I don't want to go in." You sputtered, pulling back from the house.
"Baby, I promise they'll love you." She reassured, taking your hand again and kissing your lips. "It's impossible not too."
"I'm nervous-"
"Don't be? I'm right next to you okay?"
"Promise?"
"I pinky promise." She smiled.
You nodded slightly before letting yourself being pulled up the stone steps. Allison knocked and you were sure you were gonna pass out.
A woman with blonde hair and a light pink 50's dress answered the door. She smiled widely, her red lips curling as she greeted Allison with open arms.
"Hello dear, I'm glad you came- Vanya is especially excited."
"Thanks mom, it's nice to see you. This is Y/N, my fiance." Allison tugged you gently so you stood next to her instead of behind her.
You timidly waved. "Hello, Nice to meet you ma'am."
Grace smiled warmly and hugged you too. "It's nice to meet you as well, now both of you, please, come inside."
She stepped aside so the you and Allison could walk in. You gripped her hand as you two walked farther in.
"Oh Allison!" A voice called out. "And random stranger. Hello!" You looked over to see a man with a mop of messy brown hair. Must be Klaus.
"Hey Klaus," Allison smiled. Bingo. "This is my Fiance, Y/N."
"Hello Y/N! Welcome to the dysfunctional Hargreeves family. I'm Klaus, you've probably heard of me, you know, being the best brother and all." He grinned.
"I have actually..." You smiled slightly.
"This makes was what? 4 gay siblings?" He turned to Allison.
"No, three. You, Me, and Diego." Allison answered, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh right, we're waiting for Vanya to come out." You laughed quietly. You liked Klaus, he wasn't as dreadful as you thought he would. "Are you bi too?"
"Nope! I'm lesbian."
"Oh cool! I'm pan, nice to meet another gay." The two of you shook hands.
"Diddo, being surrounded by straights can be dreadfully boring."
Klaus smiled at Allison. "I like her."
"I do too." She smiled lovingly, pressing a gentle kiss on your lips. "Now we should go see the others."
"They're gathered in the main room, lez go." He grinned and hopped off.
"See? They're going to love you."
Much to Allisons relief they did. Well. Most of them did. Diego loved you, he actually spoke to you in a civil manner. Vanya opened up to you right away, even five, later on to be found, didn't mind you. But Luther didn't like you one bit.
Luther had pulled Allison aside at some point during the night, crossing his arms.
"What is it?" Maybe if she played dumb Luther wouldnt go this way
"Her. I don't trust her."
"Luther-"
"First your out of her league, second- she's probably using you for your money."
"Luther? What the hell? Just because I moved on doesn't mean you get to say that about my wife." Allison stood her ground, glaring at him.
"She isn't your wife."
"Yes she is. We're getting married next month and I was going to ask if you'd be my 'best man' whatever it'll be called because I believed that you of all people would be happy for me. Clearly I expected too much."
Luther opened his mouth to speak but Allison was already gone. When she got back to the main room, you weren't there and shedrowned. That was until she heard your laugh from the kitchen. That unmistakable laugh that had comforted her so many times. Shr smiled and peaked into the kitchen, you were cooking with Diego and Grace. Klaus was sitting at the table rambling about some trip he took awhile ago.
She stepped in and sat next to Klaus, just looking at you. Klaus smiled knowingly- he did the same for Dave.
Allison was madly in love with you and it was obvious.
No amount of salty luther would change that.

Amanda Sefton is brushing her hair as she nervously glances at her phone, so far, her beloved hasn´t answered back. And so far, Amanda is not letting this slice as she usually would because it proves her Kurt is that brainwash by that bimbo called Tabitha.
The fact that now Tabitha and Amra are dating fly over her mind completely as Amanda continues to brush her hair not impressed with the look facing back at her in the mirror.
"What I can do to have my dear Kurt all to myself?" Amanda asked to her reflection who now smiles at Amanda, wide and showing her pearl smile (oh how her teeth are so white seems so unnatural)
"That´s easy. You need to get rid of the competition...if this Tabitha is dating another girl...then we must make sure no other girl comes closer of our Kurt" the reflection explains and Amanda nods, of course, it sounds so simple.
If she´s the only girl in his life...
"So, who is my next target?"
"Kitty Pryde, the pretender. The best way to take her out is to set her up with another boy" the reflection responds and Amanda nods happily now letting the brush lay on the desk.
"That boy Lance seems to like the pretender..."
"We have a solution"
And Amanda is now so felicitous walking among in the old house, ignoring the mirror´s reflection. This is not Amanda´s house, however, Amanda is so used by this old mansion and has no problem in spending the night trusting so easily on a mirror. A mirror who often smiles back at you.

Lance Alvers is a man with a crush and, oh, how that´s a different mood for him, ever since he spot Kitty Pryde in the hail, on that sunny day on the school, and now all Lance can think of is Kitty and her fluffy tail and, of course, her cat-like ears.
However, as the man remembers the German boy and Pietro´s advice, it makes his blood seeth with the idea of German boy being into Kitty as well, and yes, normally violence would be his first option...but...
"Todd!" Lance shouts and Todd arrives carrying a bunch boxes and is now facing Lance who has a question to make and is trying to be as polite as he can be, again, Lance does not want to use violence. He can do better without it.
"Yes?" Todd replies still with the boxes. "Make it quick. I have a chore to do. Yes, it was from Boss lady" Todd replies as if is no big deal, but, there´s a line of hope and proud in his tone that Lance notices and he can´t make fun of that...Lance feels that sometimes when Boss Lady gives him a chore.
"Do you know that German Boy?"
"Klaus Kaufman?"
"What? There´s another German boy? No, the one with the X-geeks"
"Ahhh, Kurt Wagner. What do you want to know?"
"Does he have a girlfriend..or boyfriend?" Lance throw this option half in the hope of being true and a half to not be too obvious to Todd, and, the boy frog does not mention what he thinks of this question.
"Well, he dated, put nicely here, that Tabby girl...but I think it was, uhm, more of a facade than anything else...so right now, not sure if he has a boyfriend or girlfriend. Can I ask why?"
"No, you can´t"
And he leaves ready to make a phone call. He needs to be quick or else, that German boy ("Not Klaus! Had no idea there´s another German boy") asks her out.
"Kitty? Hi, can we talk?"

Kurt Wagner is enjoying his lazy Saturday moment. His sister, Rogue, is dolling herself up, her own words here, to a "non-date" with the Cajun and Kurt did what any good little brother would do, tease her until she got feed up with his acts and make him run. A nice family moment.
Now, as he watches Kitty ending a conversation on the phone, Kurt offers a more sincere smile to the girl who responds to him by waving her fluffy tail at him. "Elf, Are you free right now?"
And soon, Kurt and Kitty are spending the rest of the day together, turns out, Kitty likes disco music and loves 80´s stuff. "Katzchen, those outfits are awful" and Kitty playfully slaps his shoulder. "It was fashionable in the 80´s" "Katzchen, is clown syndrome"
Kurt and Kitty talk about their first day, about Tabitha and Amara. ("Did you know?" "She was never straight, but, I never knew she liked Amara" "Kurt, have you ever kissed a boy?" "uhm...no, but, I think I´m too straight to think about it. And you?" "I kissed a girl and a boy. I like it both. Guess I´m Bi, are you ok with that?" "Yes, not sure why people seem to think I would be homophobic") and they rest their heads on the bed enjoying such moment.
"Who did you kiss?" Kurt asked curiously and a bit scared for some reason he does not dare to linger for longer.
"The boy or girl?"
"Both"
"The girl was in my city. She didn't mind I was a mutant...and kissed me to prove, not sure if that kiss was real for real, but, I like it the idea. It was my first kiss. Now, for my second kiss, it was a boy in this school, Lance Alvers" and she looks at him waiting for his replies.
"LANCE?!" Kurt only speak this line as for some reason the idea of she kissing Lance is not very pleasant (as it wasn´t hearing about her first kiss with that girl. Why? Kurt is not homophobic)
"Yes, do you know him?"
"No, he´s from Brotherhood..."
"I know, and I know...Scott gave me the line ''he´s the enemy'' and I get it, but, in the end, are we all mutants?"
Kurt does not reply for a moment. Yes, aren´t they all mutants? "I don´t like him"
"Why?"
Kurt can´t form a word right now.

1. Is a kiss considered cheating? Yes! Unless you’ve communicated with your partner that it’s okay.
2. Have you ever faked an orgasm? Nope
3. If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Hmmm this is a really hard decision. I usually say telepathy, but I like shapeshifting, too. I loved the Animorphs books as a kid, even though I didn’t read them all.
4. Do you think you are going to be rich in 7-8-9 years? Monetarily? Nah. But I like to think I’ll still have strong, rich friendships and I think I’ll have enough money to live comfortably alone.
5. Tell us some funny drunk story. I just don’t really have one rip. Drunk people are hilarious but normally I’m the DD. I’ve got several pleasant stories, though! There was a time me and my best friend went to a pub and drank cider and played board games and video games until closing time. Afterwards we stopped at an Insomnia cookies, a storm caused the electricity to go out, and we got a half dozen cookies for free. (well, I felt guilty, so I left them a very large tip.)
6. Why are you no longer together with your ex? I was going through college, it was long distance, and I felt he deserved better. We keep in touch, though.
7. If you had to choose one way to die, what would it be? Well, painlessly, of old age, in my sleep, of course. But if that’s not an option, out of all the ways of dying, freezing to death seems the most humane. You just get tired, cold, and sleepy, and then you just...don’t wake up.
8. What are your current goals? Graduate, mostly. Long-term I’d like to live with friends in a big house and my cat, and have enough free time to garden and craft at my leisure, and have the ability to travel wherever I’d like. I’d like to work on a game or movie I’m really passionate about, and I’d love to become a director someday.
9. Do you like someone? I mean, I like a lot of people, but I assume this means romantically. So, kind of? I find a lot of people attractive and have a ‘if they wanted to date I’d be down’ feeling, but I don’t have serious feelings for anybody specific.
10. Who was the last person to disappoint you? Hmmm I have a terrible memory. Myself, perhaps? I have a really hard time with getting up when my alarms go off. Sleep inertia’s a big problem for me. This has led to me being late to classes and rushing to get ready, which is stressful.
11. Do you like your body? Ehhhh. I guess. It could be improved, like by not having health issues.
12. Can you keep a diet? Ha! No.

16. Would you get a tattoo? Oh, absolutely. The only reason I don’t have any is because of money. I have like five small ideas and one very large one that i’d like across my back.

24. What’s your dream car? My sib got this really nice Prius used at a good price, and it has a lot of room and it’s a hybrid, so Nice. I don’t tend to pay much attention to cars, as long as they’re comfortable and low-waste.
25. Are grades in school important? I admit that they’re important to me, but that’s something I have to unlearn. My worth isn’t determined by other people.
26. Describe your crush. Ugh. I’m bi, guys. I get crushes on people all the time, every day. Saw this really pretty redhead in the cafeteria over a month ago, and I saw her again yesterday. She’s a couple inches taller than me and has really pretty curly hair, but I didn’t really, like, stare, so I couldn’t describe her face well past ‘cute nose’.
27. What was the last book/movie that really impressed you? Nothing jumps to mind. I guess I’m still falling over myself after seeing Mad Max back in like 2015, that was just the coolest experience ever. I find delight in just about every movie I watch, though. The second Jumanji-sequels movie was just as fun and amazing as the first. Klaus was just incredible in so many ways.
28. What was your last lie? I...really just do not remember. Probably telling myself “I’m gonna do my laundry today” a few days ago? Whereas I DID do my laundry today so HA
29. Dumbest lie you ever told? I saved this question for last and it’s late and I honestly can’t remember anything, asdjls sorry. My memory’s awful y’all.
30. Is crying in front of people embarrassing? Oh absolutely. I mean it wouldn’t be if they weren’t uncomfortable with it, but they always are.
31. Something you did and you are proud of? I did my laundry today? washed dried folded and everything. I also braved the nighttime neighborhood around my school to solo a Pokemon raid, which was cool. I’m proud of my animation done at the end of the last semester, and of how my teddy bear modelling is doing this week.
32. What’s your favourite cocktail? How am I supposed to choose this? How can you ask me to choose this? I’d have to line them all up and try one by one, honestly, before I could tell you.
33. Something you are good at? I’m pretty good at drawing anatomy and expressions, I think. I’m good at baking/cooking, although I lack creativity in the kitchen. I also think I’m a pretty good listener, and a good friend?
34. Do you like small kids? Most of the time!
35. How are you feeling right now? Frankly, a little drained with all these questions, but determined to finish them. I’m a little hungry. I’ve got a lot on my mind, and wish I was doing homework, but I also can’t get myself to do it right now.
36. What would you name your daughter/son? Not sure! Every once in a while I’ll be like “ooh, that’d be a great name” and then don’t remember to write it down. Besides, I plan on adopting, and most kiddos already have names.
37. What do you need to be happy? Money, friends, family, good food, and a place to explore.
38. Is there some you want to punch in the face right now? Not particularly. No one other than, well. The rich people I’m pretty sure everyone knows I dislike.
39. What was the last gift you received? Well, anything my mom cooks for me is a gift, but the last Proper gift was from my friend @ wefflebugs , who got me a blu-ray copy of Into the Spiderverse and some coffee for Christmas c:
40. What was the last gift you gave? I gave my sibling @ aconfusedbird a keychain of one of the two Bubble Bobble dragons and kept the other for myself, for their birthday. Handmade from Perler beads. We’d play that game for ages as kids, and we always fought over who’d be the blue one.
41. What was the last concert you went to? I think it was The Shins? They were so awesome!
42. Favourite place to shop at? Well, I quite like Target. But I also adore small resale shops. They always have some really awesome things hiding there.
43. Who inspires you? Oogh, a lot of people. Like a million and a half artists I’ve met online, ones I only know their screenname for, inspire me to get better at art. James Baxter and Sergio Pablos inspire me to get better at animation. Wefflebugs’ art always has such lovely colors, which I adore. featherdragon15′s art has gotten a lot better lately, and that inspires me to keep working hard too! Not to mention they’re working for nasa which is rad af, and also inspires me to keep working toward my dreams. My sibling aconfusedbird inspires me a Lot in a lot of personal ways, like to be more kind to myself and to keep moving forward. My mom inspires me to keep gardening. roachpatrol/roach-works inspired me to get into welding, lizardlicks inspired me into wanting chickens and a small homestead. My teachers inspire me to keep working hard in school.
44. How old were you when you first got drunk? 19, I think? I’ve only gotten properly drunk once. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat another boiled peanut, but other than that it wasn’t a problem lol.
45. How old were you when you first got high? I haven’t, actually. I don’t have a reason not to or anything, but it’s just never felt like the right vibe yanno?
46. How old were you when you first had sex? I guess it really depends on your definition. Personally, I’d say I haven’t yet.
47. When was your first kiss? Well, I played spin the bottle when I was seventeen, which was technically my first kiss, but if that doesn’t count then it was about a week before I turned eighteen, and I kissed the guy who’d become my first boyfriend.
48. Something you want to do until the end of this year? Play video games....I wish I had infinite time to play video games and watch movies and draw and just...enjoy my time on earth, you know? Without feeling like it had a deadline.

Name one thing that terrifies you. asdkfjal;sdf i’ve been listening to too much magnus archives and got recommended to ‘not be too scared of one thing’ if i want to avoid the creatures, so uh. hard to decide. I guess I’m scared of...hm. people who just lack the ability to create bonds with people? people who don’t care about other living things. humans can be fucking terrifying.
53. What kind of books do you read? Oh, just about anything. Fantasy, realistic fiction, romance, mysteries, thrillers, scifi...all are great. I didn’t used to enjoy nonfiction but it really depends on the nonfiction.
54. What would you tell your 12 year old self? You’re going to have a best friend someday, and it will be everything you wanted. Things with your mother will improve when you’re in your last few years of high school. You’re going to become a great artist.
55. What is your favourite flower? Not sure! I like many. There was this one flower i found in high school that smelled incredible, but I’ve no idea what it was. I should find it again.
56. Any bad habits you have? ...Well. Not waking up when my alarm goes off is pretty annoying. My procrastination in general’s frustrating. And, well, just between you, me, and the rest of the internet, (tw: self harm) my trichotillomania causes me constant distress and anxiety.
57. What kind of people are you attracted to? People who want to learn new things, are kind and compassionate, respect me, and have a good sense of humor. Someone I can be adventurous with.
58. What was the last thing you cried for? Well, i answered a similar question earlier, so I’ll answer for the second most recent time I cried. I was in Pennsylvania, the day I had to fly home, and when I went to check in for my flight, all the seats were taken, and I needed to pay for an upgrade if I wanted to guarantee a spot on the flight. This wouldn’t be a huge problem, except that for both of my flights to get home, an upgrade cost $70. And seventy dollars was a big chunk out of my budget for, you know, food. So I cried out of stress and frustration with the airport companies for charging me seventy bucks for ten more inches of legroom that I didn’t want nor need.
59. Is there something you don’t eat? Some food that truly disgust you? Not really! In terms of what’s normally accepted as “food” in American society, that is. I don’t care much for worms or insects. Other than that, I’m interested enough to try almost anything once.
60. Are you in love? In love? No. Am I full of love? Yes, for many, many, many things.
61. Something you find romantic? Oh man, anything could be romantic if done by someone I care for. I think gentleness is romantic. Quality time is my love language, so if my partner cancelled plans to spend time with me, that’d be romantic. I find romance in trying new things and going to new places.
62. How long was your longest relationship? Four months or so. It’s the only relationship I’ve been in, though, and I hadn’t intended for it to go past summer, so that was longer than I’d even planned on haha.
63, 64. What are 3 things that irritate you about the same sex? Opposite sex? Uhhh kind of hard to answer this one. I mean, i hate the culture in which men are raised to be, but I’ve heard that ‘male’ and ‘female’ brains aren’t particularly predisposed to anything in particular? Like, both men and women are capable of emotional intelligence and compassion, it’s just that our culture doesn’t encourage it in men.
65. What are you saving money for? Food, college. I might treat myself to a school trip to Disney, but I don’t think I have the budget rn. As a student I’m kind of coasting by on the bare minimum rn, I don’t have anything i CAN save up for.
66. How would you describe your bad side? I mostly just avoid you or try to not spend time with you.
67. Are you actually a good person? Why? I think I am. I care about other people and try to make other people’s lives easier and happier. I try every day to become more sensitive to other perspectives. I do what I can to benefit the earth for those who will come after me.
68. What are you living for? Ooh, deep stuff. I’m living for helping other people. I’m living for my friends and family.
69 (nice). Have you ever done anything illegal? Pfft, guys, jaywalking is illegal. So yes. I’ve also drank while underage before. But nothing really big, no.
70. Do you like your body? Wait a second. This was number 11, too. Well, I guess I’ll change it to What don’t you like about your body? Which is my under-chin. It’s kind of a double chin, kind of not. But while most things I could change about my body, I don’t think I could change that without surgery. And yeah, I’ve thought about it. Not that I have any of the cash for it. I also wish I didn’t have (tw: self-harm) trichotillomania, so I’d have more eyelashes and eyebrows.
71. Have you ever made someone feel bad about themselves intentionally? I think I probably have, to douchebags. Like “hey, that’s inappropriate”.

The four blogs I don’t actually follow, but whose blogs I visit every day. It changes around every few years. It used to be a different bunch back when I first got on tumblr. I really have no idea why I haven’t followed them. Habit, I suppose? Also, it still won’t let me tag my sib for some reason. (nvm I removed the tags, i don’t want to bother them)
76. Do you play any computer games? What is your favourite game? lmao uh, that’s kind of an understatement. I can’t list all my favorite games, but I’m very fond of The Last of Us. I have played. So many video games. I’ll chat about them anytime!
77. Favourite TV series? Avatar: The Last Airbender, I think. It’s really hard to top that.
78. Are you religious? Does God exist? Not really religious, no. I do think that there’s probably a god out there that sparked the Big Bang. I don’t really follow the Christian God because despite what every church service said, I never felt like He loved me. Jesus was a super cool guy, though. If there’s a god out there, I think they pretty much keep to themselves. Maybe have some fun watching creation, but don’t really interact with it at all.
79. What was the last book you read? Did it impress you and why? asdkfj;as i don’t remember. probably my textbook Directing the Story by Francis Glebas? It was a pretty cool book about moviemaking.
80. What do you think about vegetarianism/veganism? I’ve reblogged a lot on the subject. I respect those who practice it, but it can cause a lot of environmental harm. In theory, it’s not bad!

87. Meaning behind your blog name? I’ve had this one for many years now. I really like the word ‘saccharine’ -- inspired by @ saccharinesylph back in the old days -- and i couldn’t just name myself ‘saccharine’, so i needed something else. and I was pretty big into Good Omens at that time, and I was like ‘haha! saccharine, good, omens. saccharine omens!’ Plus, it feels like a very positive and comforting name, and I strive to be a comforting person.
88. What are you scared of? ok i def answered this moving on
89. Last time you were insulted? uhhhhhhhhh no idea. oh, wait! i know. i was getting graded on my performance at my job late last year and i disagreed with the grade my boss gave me. It was like ‘person shows considerable care of their community and goes above and beyond to educate others’ and i was like ‘oh yeah that’s, like, my whole Thing, my whole Goals and Personality and Ideals’ and then my boss came in and was like ‘2/4′ and i was like ‘wtf??’ Apparently she felt that i just wasn’t really applying that part of myself to my job, and i was like ‘you serious? i’m doing a lot!’ but also she’s my boss.
90. Most traumatic experience? A series of emotionally/mentally abusive things my mom did during my childhood. It’s definitely had the longest lasting effects of any trauma. Permanent anxiety problems, ptsd, my self harm, the whole shebang. Don’t worry, though, like. Things are way better between us, and she’s apologized many times.
91. Perfect date idea? Going on a hike! Maybe walking on a beach. Just spending time together and talking. Eating some delicious food. Spending the entire day with each other, then curling up and cuddling at home and watching a movie. then talking some more. lots of handholding and kisses. im a super hopeless romantic.
92. Favourite app on your phone? the internet, ofc lmao. But other than that I use Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Pokemon Go an awful lot.
93. What colour are the walls in your room? At school a boring white, although I’ve taped some art up. At home a really pretty light blue color that I did all myself.
94. Do you watch Youtube? Who is your favourite youtuber? I do! And I like so many channels, honestly. I really like Rachel and Jun, and I really like Pop Culture Detective. I’ve seen a lot of jackscepticeye’s stuff, too. Proko, Vox, and Sinix Design are all good too.

98. Have you ever made your mum cry? What happened? She’s cried sometimes over how she treated us in the past. Sometimes it happens because I talk about how she’s hurt me. She always expresses regret and apologizes again.
99. Do you feel lucky or special in a way? I feel lucky with how I met my best friend. We’d had band together and kind of both thought each other as a cool person, but we didn’t really hit it off until a couple years later and she saw me drawing Homestuck fanart in Psychology lmao. The rest is history. Love you so much, Haley. I feel lucky my mom realized she was being abusive and stopped, too. Not everyone gets that.
100. Can you keep a secret? Oh, definitely. But do tell me what needs to be secret, otherwise I won’t know. For example, my sib asked me to keep their gf busy while they bought her a present, so I tried, but then she was like ‘oh, where’s your sibling? we should find them’ i was like ‘oh no, i think they’re just buying something, it’s fine’ but she was stubbornly moving toward the checkout and i was like ‘stop, i think they’re buying something for you’ so i. kinda told a secret? i didn’t tell her what the present was though.

AU where Allison and Luther are close in a platonic best friend kind of way growing up
When they're caught in the attic Allison, being number 3 and not feeling like she has to be the responsible one, had coerced Luther to break the rules for once in his life and have some fun (she brought some of her magazines and told him about her celebrity crushes)
He grew to be overprotective of her but in that responsible older brother kind of way, cause lbr thats what he feels he is as number one
When he got hurt and turned into monkey man she was there for him because ppl dont care as much if their best friend see them as a monster and she eventually convinced him to leave the umbrella academy because of it
He was her uhhhh best man of honour at the wedding (listen idk how weddings work) and she made him Claires godfather
Luther got a job as a bodyguard after leaving, and is very very good at it
When dear old daddy dies, Luther suspects Diego and doesn't believe Allisons protests because "he's a vigilante and is exhibiting suspicious behaviour, this is the kind of stuff we learn about on the job trust me it was him" so she calls him an idiot and he pulls the leader card, because the moment he steps back into that house Reggies influence is over him again
She gets mad at him and gets herself involved in Vanyas love life
He does feel bad about it though, and like maybe he should listen to her, but he doesn't want dads ghost to see him being weak because he's still afraid of him, because he hasn't been away from the house for long enough
Both Allison and Vanya have gone through extensive therapy after leaving. Diego went to therapy when he was with Patch to make her happy, Klaus' therapy is his escapism obviously, and Allison tries to force Luther to go but hes too scared, whenever the topic comes up he disappears into his work for a while
(When he resurfaces she calls him an idiot and avoids the topic for a while, cause she misses her best friend whenever it happens)
Instead of looking for the moon correspondence (cause he never went to the moon) Luther looks for anything that could give them a clue on the apocalypse in Reggies files and finds documents of fake/modified missions that he was sent on to keep him busy and on form in preparation for the apocalypse, including the mission that nearly cost him his life, and he has a breakdown over the fact that his fathers lies made him what he is, and that he couldve had a normal life if he'd just left with the others
Allison finds him absolutely broken and takes him up to her room where she puts on their favourite mixtape from childhood and paints his fingernails bright colours "Just like i did with Klaus when we were kids! You know, I caught him stealing my make up once and I was gonna get mad but he looked so embarrassed and ashamed that I just gave him some of the stuff I wasnt using anyway. After that, I painted his nails every time he asked me to"
Allison treating him like a person, like her best friend, teasing him and joking with him cheers him up and by the time she has to leave for her flight he's calm but he still looks very lost so she invites him to come see Claire "The few times I've gotten to speak to her she's always asked about uncle Luther"
When he gets absolutely shitfaced and gets laid and she finds out about it she's beaming because he's worried and cried at her for years that no one will love him because of the way he is
she does also punch him because he didnt tell her earlier, "You were hurt!! I had more important things to think about!"
He does still lock Vanya up but Allison gestures up such an angry storm that he lets her try to open it, only she cant because she's still too weak from the wound
She storms off to her room when he refuses to open it for her, and he doesnt dare follow
When Vanya destroys the academy he cant look at her without getting a furious look of "I told you so, idiot" back
The phone call scene has a couple more insults from Allison to Luther sprinkled into it
He apologizes for not listening to her and being wrong about locking up their sister but he's also spent his entire childhood taking leadership lessons from dad and he's just never gonna learn that listening to her is smarter than listening to what their dad taught them
Bonus:
She hits him on various parts of his head and torso with her notebook when she's annoyed
Luther googles furries when he's drinking his hangover coffee the morning after he got laid
Luther is the first to know about Allison being bi, and he's actually really glad cause it means he gets to talk about girls with his best friend, like all the boys do in the books he reads
(Klaus is the second one to know, and Allison is the first to know about Klaus being pan)

Mood lightener ask, I am intrigued by book recs from you since you mentioned something about a dinosaur series a bit ago? Color me intrigued so top five books you'd recommend for people who enjoy ASoIaF?

okay so, I’m taking the dinosaurs out first because... well. hahah.
the dinosaur lords is ABSOLUTELY a thing you might wanna try out if you like asoiaf for reasons, BUT I’m warning you, the author died before finishing it (unless he wrote the last three but didn’t have publishing contract for the second part of the six-books plan but no one quite knows and no idea) so most likely you’ll never get a conclusion, warning you beforehand so that’s why I’m putting it outside the top five. BUT IF YOU LIKE ASOIAF YOU SHOULD STILL TRY IT because:
the author was a friend of grrm’s and it shows;
it’s literally asoiaf except people go around on dinosaurs;
NO, REALLY;
there’s at least a couple characters who are totally asoiaf homages (there’s a dude named jaume who’s basically jaime and loras’s lovechild I SWEAR HE IS HE’S EVEN THE HEAD OF THE LOCAL KINGSGUARD) but not in a way that makes it look like plagiarism;
admittedly it takes a bit to find its rhythm, but when it does it’s really good because the worldbuilding is amazing and like... it’s basically fictional medieval europe with dinosaurs but to a really good degree and the representation is a+++, in the sense that idk one of the main four is obv. irish romani (or what irish romani are in that universe), a few are def. catalan, the french guy is really so french you wanna die, the italian dude actually comes from the oldest university in the realm, there’s people from russia/greece and the protagonist is basically some three eastern europeans countries thrown in one character but not stereotypically, like the guy is obv. a mix of russian/polish/mongol and he’s really a good character in that sense, there’s germans too, spanish ofc, like it’s really good in that sense
DINOSAURS FIGHTING DINOSAURS WHILE THEIR KNIGHTS RIDE THEM
there’s an entire supernatural angle with ARCHANGELS WHO MIGHT BE ROBOTS which is honestly intriguing and a+ and I just wish the books hadn’t finished just before going deep into it
if you also want lgbt+ rep............. well, two out of the three supposedly straight characters are irish romani dude and the protagonist and I can 100% assure you that everyone I dragged into reading those books agreed with me that in each single scene they have together (ie: most of them) they’re gayer than Actual Gay People in these books, but other than them half of the cast is bi, the gay sex is better written than the straight sex (forreal there’s one of the few actually.... sexy m/m oral sex scenes I read in published fiction???), their sexuality is not the whole of their personality but it’s fairly stated that most of them are Really Not Straight and it’s really done well;
actually THE ENTIRE KINGSGUARD IS GUYS WHO FIGHT VERY WELL BUT LOVE ARTS AS WELL AND THEY ALL SLEEP WITH EACH OTHER EXCEPT THE TOKEN STRAIGHT FRENCH CHARACTER THAT THE JAIME AND LORAS LOVECHILD HAS A CRUSH ON and ngl I thought they would end up fucking at some point if the books went on so... XDDD anyway a+++ kingsguard >>> the one in asoiaf;
ngl at some points there’s some badly written sex scenes (the straight ones lmao I’m 99,9% sure milàn was not that straight himself) and it’s not half as complex as asoiaf and doesn’t have as many characters but it has the same scheme except with dinosaurs, archangels being robots and three people are straight and two of them are in love anyway;
so tldr I greatly recommend the dinosaur lords if you want something similar to asoiaf, don’t expect an ending, enjoy dinosaurs and a lot of nice rep for everyone. also Y’ALL HAVE TO SHIP ROB AND KARYL WITH ME BECAUSE THEY’RE RIDICULOUS.
.... wow, and you asked me the top five. lmaaaaao. anyway, given that the dinosaur lords will not be in the top five, I’ll go and advise you to read:
IAN TREGILLIS’S ALCHEMY WARS, which is not like **fantasy** but it’s alternate history where the netherlands win the colonial wars in the 16th century because they figure out how to make brass androids and they use it to basically destroy the british and drive the french to canada while they conquer the US instead of the british. it’s a trilogy, it’s completed, it’s flawless and features: FRENCH CATHOLICS VS DUTCH CALVINISTS WITH THE FRENCH WANTING TO TAKE BACK PARIS, PREDESTINATION VS FREE WILL IN THE ANDROIDS DISCOURSE, REHASH OF 16TH/17TH CENTURY PHILOSOPHY DONE GREATLY, the greatest female character of genre literature since grrm (berenice GUYS BERENICE IS THE BEST GOD I LOVE HER SFM), the evil antagonist who’s a gal cersei wishes she was (like she’s terrible but she’s competent), the davos-like french general who knits in his spare time and the protagonist is the cinnamon roll-est android ever I love him sfm OH and the one time I cried because of a catholic fictional priest. guys tregillis is an a+++ top notch writer who has no time to waste with fillers and knows how to write a story even if HE HATES ME AND HE WANTS ME TO SUFFER and like... alchemy wars is really really good give it a go k?1,5. tregillis also wrote another alternate history trilogy, the milkweed tryptich, which is basically ‘the nazis create the x-men to win the war and so the british counteract by evoking ctuhulu and it goes exactly as it promises’. now: I have a love-hate rship with that one because the last book is narratively working but I hate everything it chose to be for reasons also i wanna punch the protagonist in the face, but thesuperevilgirl is totes the cersei of the situation and her brother has.... some srs jaime moments lmao he’s also my favorite ofc god klaus ily so much, and it has... some... well... ENGAGING choices lol I mean i loved book one and two and the third I did reluctantly but it could be an option? anyway ian tregillis is amazing and y’all should read him bye
the curse of chalion by lois mcmaster bujold has, as the amazing soul who recommended it to me pointed out, a protagonist that manages to be jaime and theon and partially sandor put into one. IT AMAZINGLY WORKS. the plot is kiiiinda more straightforward if you know spanish history bc the moment you figure out it’s the fantasy version of how castille and aragona united you know where it heads, but it has a lot of nice twists, also some a+ lgbt+ rep tho not as much as the dinosaur lords and the protagonist is.... really great I love him XD also ngl the fact that it ends fairly nicely is a balm so I’d try it, there’s other books in the same verse but I haven’t gotten around to read them yet
... guys stephen king’s dark tower is my fantasy favorite series EVER like ever, I love asoiaf and brienne is in my heart and she’s my true rep but nothing will top TDT for me ever for reasons and while it’s a completely different thing I still recommend it. caveat: I hate the last book with a vengeance and I think king fucked up the last two thirds real bad, but..... hey, it’s finished and the rest is 100% worth it. also jaime is totally the lovechild of the male protagonist and the other male-coprotagonist who are also my #1 ship ever in history so I’d give it a go ;) ;) ;) also while eddie’s my fave roland deschain is honestly the kind of character that you can only bow in front of like if I ever made an oc one hundredth as good as roland is in conception and execution and everything I’d feel like I accomplished everything I need in life. IT’S WORTH IT. TRY IT.
terry pratchett’s discworld: yes, it’s 41 books. yes it’s a lot. but you can read them by cycle which makes it a lot easier, they’re fun (the first three are a bit meh but the rest is all top notch I swear), they’re sarcastic and witty and delightful and it’s a++++ fantasy and I’ve been wanting to do the asoiaf au for ages sigh but anyway if you don’t want dark and grim but also want a+++ narrative, good satire about how our world sucks and a lot of fun at the expense of our pop culture (guys the book about their version of australia is a hoot and there’s a leonardo da vinci!!) GO FOR IT. IT’S AMAZING. also your life isn’t complete until you read about sam vimes and the local version of death speaking in capslock and being a cat person. also charles dance plays one of the mains in one of the tv adaptations and he was delightful xD
this is going to gain me rotten tomatoes, but....... grrm’s shared series wild cards. that he has going on with fifteen other writers including the aforementioned tregillis and milàn.yes, it’s like 28 books by now. no, it’s not perfect by all means and certain arcs are a total wtf and you don’t even have to read all of it, but especially grrm’s characters in it are obvious templates for asoiaf people (the powerful and amazing turtle is dark sam tarly and jay ackroyd is basically jaime without the incest and the extra good looks while lohengrin is brienne’s spiritual twin except for the looks), the shared worldbuilding is great, the alternate history story where buddy holly didn’t die and some of the protagonists organized a concert for him bc he was poor as hell was genius, and while a lot of the older stuff is dated and most likely was progressive for the eighties and would read a bit wonky now they always were super-inclusive, it has a bunch of nonwhite/nonstraight characters (esp. in the last books but there were also in the old ones, and the longest-standing gay dude since the eighties got a husband in the last trilogy!!! it was so ;_;), the alternate history is really good imvho and if you enjoy asoiaf you probably would like most of wild cards. if you want a reading order I made one here. xD

#what if he wasnt dead-dead though???#bc like… the day five found them all dead was apparently the day the apocalypse happened right? so its not like they’d been dead for days#weeks or w.e yknow??#and the time between klaus dying and coming back is varying and undetermined - there’s no canon timing for the length of his deaths#so what if he came back to life??#like okay i know its not really possible in canon bc five buried them i think?? or is that a fanon thing??#i cant remembering #anyway#but still - in general klaus not being permanently dead in the apocalypse is another possibility#and five didnt know about it bc after finding them all he began his 45 year journey#and klaus wakes up alone and essentially has to learn to survive and he doesnt know five was ever there bc..well.. yeah#five is long gone#maybe klaus lives out his days in that wasteland#and he doesnt remember it where five does bc five time traveled back and klaus didnt. the klaus that got stuck in the#apocalypse is a different klaus - like a different timeline. the klaus from ep1 never got stuck in the destroyed future so#he’d have no knowledge or memories of it or anything#or - second thought - he kills himself at some point after waking up and either begs god to let him stay dead or he strikes some kind of#deal with her so he doesnt have to return to whats left of earth#oooo or something happened that put a lock on his powers?? like yknow those cuffs and devices and stuff in stuff in fantasy that freeze the#users abilities?? that’d be an interesting plotpoint bc then like who did it and why and what was the last day really like? yknow#vanya’s meds but More is the idea #just a thought#but anyway idk im just a big fan of klaus with the inability to die and all the possibilities that brings

#i’ve actually never stopped to consider why he didnt notice them except for my v first tua watch-thru#which is odd bc like that seems like a thing one should notice after a few watches??#but w.e #anyway#my only other hc for that part of the episode isnt that klaus didnt notice them bc he’s used to guns#it’s that he didn’t hear them#or that they weren’t loud enough -to him- to register as gunfire initially#bc like one of my close hcs is that he has bad hearing. growing up with people screaming in your ears 24-7 365 can’t exactly be good for#his ears now can it? and with how loud some of them are and how close they can get to him - without touching him - that’s just.. a lot of#fucking volume okay#now add in the academy’s mission alert siren#how loud he listens to his music with headphones on when he’s trying to drown out some REALLY LOUD SCREAMING#and then being near gunfire growing up. those bank robbers had guns and weren’t exactly a big distance away#all the raves and clubs and parties he goes to?? places where music is played so loud the room shakes and you cant hear anything else and#the music itself can be heard from blocks away?? that’s an indeterminable amount of intense noise#and then of course the gunfire of vietnam#so like… boys ears have SUFFERED. whether they wanna acknowledge that in canon or not#so the shooting at the theater - the shooting thats IN the theater - which is large and meant to house sound#thats happening across a big city street from where they’re standing and they’re behind the food truck and if klaus was ordering when it all#started that was just another level of sound and he’s not exactly focused bc everything is awful yknow?? so either it takes him a second to#notice or register it on his own or maybe he doesnt and ben says something?? idk but that’s kinda the field i’ve landed on for that scene#not that im not here for op’s hc!!! bc it really is a good one and it makes sense. im just rambling my own theory here bc i like considering#the Ways for Things sometimes. esp with klaus involved. this does make me wonder tho… if his hearing somehow is -fine- in canon…. h o w?#bc like bitch who tf can take all that and have perfect hearing?? thats gotta be impossible. if they are fine is it related to his powers#somehow?? like.. does his casual passing between life and death all the time mean he doesnt have mortal ear weaknesses? its weird but im..#i’ve got theories.
