فيلم ( In time )

قصته غريبة وأحداثه تكاد تكون قليلة لكن فيه "رسالة" عبقرية ومخيفة وواقعية إلى حد الذعر في وقت واحد !..

الفيلم بدأ بأن الأنسان عمره الحقيقي مُسجل على الذراع الأيسر ( لكل الأبطال ولجميع المشاركين بالفيلم ) حيث يحرص المخرج على أن يريك الثواني والدقائق والساعات كيف تستنفذ من عمرك ..

والمرعب في الفكره استعمالهم العمر في التعاملات المادية بدل المال !!

بمعنى إنهم عندما يحصلوا على متطلباتهم الحياتية اليومية يقوموا بالسداد عن طريق الوقت المتبقي من عمرهم الموجود على ذراعهم....

مثلاً من يحتاج شراء أي شيئ يجب أن يستغني عن ٣٠ دقيقة او ساعة او يوم مقابل أن يحصل على هذا الشيء أو لو رغب في استعمال المواصلات فيجب أن يفرغ من ساعة اليد المسجل فيها " عمره " من أجل الوصول للمكان الذي يريد حيث لا يوجد أي تعامل بالنقود التعامل بالعمر فقط لا غير.

وأضاف المؤلف في شيء من الواقعية يشبه واقع الحياة تماماً ..

ان هذه الساعة الرقمية الخاصة بالعمر يوجد فيها طبقية (فقراء العمر وأغنياء العمر ..)

أي أنه هناك أشخاص لديهم عمر زمني أكثر من 100سنة وآخرين عايشين اليوم بيومه مجرد ما ينتهي وقتهم يموتوا ..

أحد المشاهد يظهر البطل وهو ينتظر أمهُ على المحطة ليمنحها من يده بعض الساعات والايام كي يلحقها قبل أن تموت لأنه كان متبقي من عمرها ساعة ونصف وبطارية العمر لديها ستنتهي حيث ستموت بشكل تلقائي ..

عندما استقلت الام الباص قاصده ابنها قال لها السائق سيدتي الإيجار يعادل استهلاك ساعتين من عمرك..

ولا تملكين سوى ساعة ونصف فقط فنظرت للناس حولها نظرة حيرة ورجاء، لكن لم يكترث أحد منهم ولم يمنحها أحد عدة دقائق من عمره ..

نزلت الأم وبدأت الجري مسرعة لمقابلة ابنها الذي قرر ان يهبها عشر سنوات من رصيد عمره المسجل على ذراعه حباً بها.

من بعيد شاهدا بعض وقاما بالجري باتجاه بعض والدقائق تعد والثواني تجري ومجرد ان وصلوا لبعض وحضنت ابنها وقعت بعدها

وماتت لاستنفاذها آخر ثانيه من عمرها ..

أكثر مشهد مؤلم في الفيلم كله ..

نظرة السيدة للناس في الباص وهم يتجاهلوا حيرتها، كان ممكن لأي شخص أن يمنحها دقائق من عمرهُ تساعدها للحصول على عشر سنوات اضافيه على حساب ابنها الرائع ،

ولكن في الواقع لا أحد يستطيع أن يمنحك العمر ..

الفيلم أوصل رسالة عظيمة جدا :

مهما صنعت في حياتك من حسنات أو سيئات، من شرور أو خيرات لبني البشر..

حينما تقع وتفشل أو تمر بأزمة ما، لن تجد أحد بجانبك ولن تجد إنسان يمنحك لحظة من عمره تسترجع فيها نفسك وقدراتك في محاولة للنجاح، لن تجد أحد يضحي ويمنحك دقائق من عمره في سبيل أن تتخطى أزمتك وتتعافى ..

يوم ما ستقع وتنتهي بطاريتك وتوشك صلاحيتك على النفاذ، لن ينقذك إلا نفسك وسعيك واجتهادك وحلمك ..

شخصين فقط سيكونا على أتم الاستعداد لتفريغ بطارية عمرهم من أجل أن تعيش انت وتحقق احلامك " أمك وأبوك " ..

الوحيدين المستعدين لمنحك دقائق وساعات لانهم يعتبرونك الأحق بكل دقيقة من حياتهم..... إنها الفطرة والمحبة المنقوله بطريقة الوراثية في الدم ..

إياك أن تضيع دقيقة من حياتك في العبث والحسرة والحزن والانتقام والندم على شيء..

اي أحد منا مرسوم على ذراعه ساعة موجود بها بطارية عمره وهو يراقب الثواني والأيام تتراجع أمام عينيه كان سيراجع حساباته بشدة.

الوقت عامل أساسي

نحن نفقده بسهولة.

those first couple weeks after escaping a time loop have gotta be disorienting as all fuck. all those little cues that used to tell you what's about to happen are now triggers that cause you to brace for something that isn't coming. you have to relearn the permanence of death -- hell, you have reacquaint yourself with the entire concept of finality altogether. everything keeps changing but it never changes back and you keep having to remind yourself that this is normal. "it won't reset anymore," you echo to yourself, over and over and over, like a broken record, like you're still trapped in a loop, like someone who escaped the time loop but was doomed to bring it into the future with them

listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded psychopath happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.

#seeing some discourse and im not saying lucy grey didnt know #im saying she never dropped the kind of hints that she knew like she did in the movie #or if she did snow isnt worried about them until he very suddenly is consumed by them #snow is not concerned about whether or not she believed him. of course she did! hes snow! #but then shes gone…. for a while…… #and its the sudden immediate drastic unravelling that comes across so clearly in the book #that i knew wouldn’t translate to screen yet still cant help but miss #the hunger games #coriolanus snow #tbosas #lucy gray baird #not a crime or anything just a note that i cannot stop thinking about #the ballad of songbirds and snakes #this is all from memory of reading it quite a while ago. so maybe 3 pages is an exaggeration #but i remember it happening VERY quickly and without much external cause #like we as the reader have no indication as to whether shes nearby or not. #snow has no idea either. he just SUSPECTS. and his suspicion breeds the hatred that has been bubbling inside him all this time #he hates how she undoes him. he hates that he WOULD run away with her if shed let him keep his secrets #and he HATES more than anything that she makes him WANT to tell his secrets #he wants to be vulnerable and reveal the ugly nasty parts about himself and still be loved #but he does not let himself and it is everyone’s downfall #he chooses cruelty bc it is easy and familiar and makes him feel more powerful than the vulnerable give and take that real love requires

this is going to sound simplistic + i promise you it's not: stop following people whose entire schtick is being cruel or fighting with others online. even if the ppl deserve it! even if it's not a ~problematic~ cruelty! even if you agree with all of that blog's opinions!

it's one thing if someone snaps back when provoked or posts the occasional "get a load of this guy". nobody needs to play up respectability for people who haven't given them respect in return. but if someone's online identity centers around being needlessly mean for laughs + they're constantly seeking out socially acceptable, easy targets for petty cruelty, that's a red flag. there's a huge difference between not taking shit/cracking a joke + mocking others as your several-hours-a-day hobby.

especially if, when they are inevitably in the wrong + mocking someone mercilessly to their 50k followers over something petty goes south (shocking!), they become extremely defensive or block everyone or play the victim or dismiss it as "well, how was i supposed to know they were autistic? i'm autistic + i don't meow in public" or whatever.

this isn't a "well i knew all along" post bcuz nobody should be shamed for being in the dark about something like this but many of the popular bloggers who have later been exposed for serious harassment or abuse should not have shocked us. if someone's blog is 90% shit like "you should light yourself on fire because you watch x anime" or "look at this so-called lesbian bitch + her ugly fucking boyfriend at a kink convention- it's giving drowned rats", should it really shock you that they are also being cruel or abusive in less internet-acceptable ways? if they've already shown you that they get a such a thrill out of being vicious that they do it daily + are regularly rewarded with thousands of followers?

#it's so bad on other social media platforms too #like the number of tiktokkers whose fame is just being MEAN but in a funny way #towards ppl who have done nothing to deserve it but also are not like. oppressed groups #half the time it's ppl who i also personally dislike or dont relate to but don't deserve like. repeated violent harassment #like sure i also dislike marvel movies but it's far more embarassing to run a blog dedicated to mocking + suicide baiting random marvel fan
