One thing I hate doing is putting characters especially young ones through really horrible things... hence me rarely mentioning Cindy from my Fnaf AU cause... damn does that girl go through a lot. Like I myself want to adopt her cause of it.
SPOILERS FOR A BUNCH OF OCS IN THE TAGS!!!!
#I feel awful...#really bad#first I kill her parents off (planned from relatively the beginning tho)#then I make her William Afton's daughter which... I bet many William's out there are awful and just thinking of that is enough to know...#then we got her siblings who are only her siblings cause she was adopted but like most of them die#actually technically all of them do#even herself dies in a reality....#oh and that too.#she's living the better of the two lives.#oh and she kills a kid#forced to do so by the way.#not in a possessed kind of way#more like literally it's the child or yourself and rash decisions made okay?#Iran she was young herself and she didn't know killing a child in what she thought was a dream would have that many consequences.#like yeah...#not great living for her#she ain't the only one with pain tho#make an oc where I literally made them basically um... horrible actions taken and they got a child based on their future lover.#that child killed their mother's ex tho and secretly lived with the future lover#oh then you have a doll oc which basically gets betrayed by what she thought was her best friend.#... why are all three of them females... just realized this#well technically I do have Soi a self identified transnonbinary. yes they are nonbinary but see it in a transgender way.#also Soi has a dead name.#ain't telling you tho.#Soi is also from a undertale au.#okay enough spoilers... just so you know most of these stories got parts made on Wattpad cause it was what I had at the time.#I forgot to go try getting my account back...#will do that soon and hopefully transfer the stories over to a different place.

HUSH | MYG - SERIES MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
pairing: rockstar!yoongi x female reader | mutual disdain - lovers (but also strangers - lovers? kinda?)
Tumblr media
Welcome to Hush. We're the dating app that brings it all back; Y2K style. Forget catfishes, filters, and facetune - It's all about 'ASL?', character limits, and screaming into your pillow at 4am, after finaaaaally sending that goodnight text to your crush. Hush is the place to share your secrets. You're anonymous until you choose not to be - so what are you waiting for?! Go forth and multiply, Hush hottie! And by multiply, we mean your Hush crushes, of course! Hush users that match your preferences will automatically be added to your very own Secret Circle. We do the hard work for you (you're welcome), but it's up to you to turn your Hush crush into a secret worth keeping. Our lips are sealed, so yours don't have to be.
genre / tropes: okay, where to start with this one lmao, sexting! and i mean... a lot of sexting (so much sexting oc will probably get early-onset arthritis in her thumbs), yoongi is a dick, he also hates nepotism, and in turn, you. oh yeah, you're jin's sister, you work with the band on tour. jin, yoongi, tae, jk and joon are in The Scouts aka the hottest band since sliced bread. jimin is their tour manager, hobi works up in the head office (he's sleazy and i love him). slight love triangle, one-near-footjob (and counting!), eventual smut, a little angst, dating app that is exclusively for celebrities / people in the public eye, one incredibly inconvenient pairing, yoongi calls the oc clementine / clemmie and it's cuter than it sounds, idk how else to explain this, mistaken identity i guess? although not really? look, just read it lol. smut warnings will be on chapters individually!!

hi I love your blog we have very much the same opinions in everything except klamille is my favourite klaus ship and klaurora is second
I have been trying to enjoying klaus fics or any tvdu fics on wattpad but every thing I have read so far doenst show the characters accurately which is very annoying
I was hoping and want to request if you could give me some recommendations on fics on wattpad that are good. (Mainly klaus but any love interest would be good)
could you please give a short summary/review so far of any recommendation you give so I don’t waste time starting one only to not like ir
sorry if I am sounding rude English is not my first language but I can read it fully thank I you very much
Don't worry, you're not sounding rude at all, if anything you actually sound really sweet. I'm glad we share some opinions and I'm really honored you came to me for some suggestions.
I haven't read long fanfictions in a while outside works in ao3, I left Wattpad a few time ago but I'll still try my best, tho I'm not very good at giving summaries. Fair warning these are mainly fanfics I've read in Archive of Our Own, not Wattpad, but I hope it's not a problem. If it annoys you, send me an ask and I'll give you some Wattpad recommendations!
Patisserie (ao3, poly Mikaelson siblings x original female character, no incest) by @wickedlyemma:
Stats: (published: 2020-12-29), (completed: 2023-03-12), (words: 154,943), (chapters: 45/45), (comments: 4,385), (kudos: 8,469), (bookmarks: 1,799), (hits: 279,967)
Tags: Polyamory, Sugar Daddy, Self-Indulgent, Explicit Sexual Content, No Incest, Slow Burn, Not Canon Compliant
Summary:
I think we've all read those kind of tvdu fanfics where the main character is a teenager, usually related to the Gilbert or the Forbes, still in high school and who suddenly stops trying to make a life for herself just because she gets dragged into the supernatural world. Well, Patisserie is the opposite of that. For once, the main character isn't a teen but an adult around her twenties, who works at a bakery and is completely unaware of the supernatural world until Klaus decides to change that.
The slow burn is is truly worthy of a chef's kiss, the way the author describes and writes the Mikaelson is just so on point it hurts. Their family dynamic is so entertaining to watch, but it's as fucked up as it is in the show, which it's something not many authors can accomplish. The way they behave around the main character, a simple human, it's so amusing because they truly know nothing despite their age and she's just so easy to relate to, because for once the oc is not ridiculously overpowered.
The way we perceive the Mikaelson and the vampire world from a human pov is truly interesting, how she copes with all of it and eventually learns to love all of them individually while being aware of the danger is so well done. Kol and her, as well as her relationship with Klaus, are particularly interesting to read, especially considering how they all behaved around her at the beginning and especially because both of them are the most dangerous members of their family. They are all selfish creatures, and I love how it shows the more their relationships with her develop.
Apotheosis (ao3, Klaus x original female character) by atriums;

Tags: POV Alternating, Minor Original Character(s), Minor Character Death, Canonical Character Death, Implied/Referenced Abuse, Implied/Referenced Sex, Sexual Content, Devoted Reader, Author Rejects Canon and Substitutes It with Their Own, Cannibalistic Werewolf Cults, Nobody Is Good But Also Nobody Is Evil, These Characters are Flawed and Problematic (Probably), This Fic is Not a Bastion for Healthy Characters and Relationships, Reader/OC Especially, Reader/OC can be any ethnicity
Summary;
You know those fanfics who fix (almost) everything problematic in canon? Apotheosis does exactly that. In this story, Klaus isn't a complete irredeemable character for once, but he also isn't half as bad as his canon version, and due to the oc being a werewolf, this fanfic does expand on his werewolf side a little more than The Vampire Diaries or The Originals ever did. His family and him actually have a healthy bond, and Finn gets the recognition he deserves for once.
The story is set in season three of TVD, exactly when Klaus and Stefan are trying to make hybrids for his pack, and in a ironic plot twist, Klaus decides to take you with him when you're still a werewolf after you say you're not worthy to be a hybrid, at least not yet.
Her devotion to him is completely endearing and I absolutely love how Klaus actually cares for his pack, especially because they're all canonical characters who were killed way too quickly. Her relationships with the members of their pack are so well written, and this fanfic it's the perfect mix of humour and seriousness. It has a ongoing sequel, which I just adore. I warn you though, all the characters have several differences from their canon versions.
Twisted Obsession (fanfiction.net, Klaus x original female character) by rocket-queen98;
Stats: Originals, M, English, Romance & Angst, chapters: 16, words: 59k+, favs: 1k+, follows: 1k+, updated: May 6, 2023 published: Aug 13, 2016, [Klaus M., OC] Elijah M., Hope M.
Summary;
Lola is one of the most adorable mc I've read. She is human and around nineteen, if I remember correctly, and just a sweet girl and adorable. She's introduced into the supernatural world thanks to baby Hope, who is just the cutest, due to her needing a mother figure now that Hayley wasn't present in her life thanks to the curse placed on her.
Her relationship with Hope is my favorite part of the whole fanfic. She doesn't suddenly turn into her mother, she doesn't intend to either, but rather becomes her best friend and Klaus and her develop a bond thanks to this. The way father and daughter interact is so heartwarming too, the subtle hints of them being werewolves, and seeing a main character having a good relationship with her father for once is a good turn, especially in tvd fanfics.
It's clear Klaus and Lola have something going on, even if they won't admit out loud, but for some reason the people around them give the impression they don't actually want them to date. There is implications something more fucked up than usual is going on with Klaus and his relationships, and I'm pretty sure him and Cami were a thing in this fic too. Surprisingly, Hayley and Cami aren't turned into absolute bitches, but there is Jackson bashing though.
The Girl in the Forest (fanfiction.net, Klaus x original female character) by noblecrescent;
Stats: Originals, T, English, Mystery & Romance, chapters: 30, words: 311k+, favs: 232, follows: 176, updated: Feb 19, 2017 published: Jan 23, 2016, [Klaus M., OC] [Elijah M., Camille O'Connell]
Summary;
This fanfic is a tetralogy of books set in The Originals, I read those fanfics a while ago so forgive me for any mistake. Maleny is a witch who was cursed, if I remember correctly, and was constantly body-jumping every short time.
In one of her lives, she met Klaus and they fell in love, but she died, if I'm not wrong, and they end up meeting again in New Orleans time later where he has a child on the way and a kingdom to conquer.
I can't remember a lot more without giving you spoilers, but it's worth checking it out!
Now, I'll give no more summaries because I honestly don't remember a lot of the next fanfics, but it's your choice if you want to read them;
A Veil Between Love and Hate (fanfiction.net, Klaus x original female character) by MandalorianHybrid;
Stats: Originals, T, English, chapters: 57, words: 200k+, favs: 609, follows: 359, updated: Sep 15, 2019 published: Jan 30, 2014, [Klaus M., OC]
Summary; Another five books set in The Vampire Diaries, with a story that eventually moves to The Originals.
Allure (wattpad, Klaus x oc x Stefan) by @viavolterra;
Stats: 575k Readings, 20,5k Votes, 34 Chapters
Summary;
I just could not not recommend this fanfic. Mia comes to Mystic Falls to seek revenge after Damon kills her best friend Lexi, but she of course gets dragged by the problems in that little town.
The thing I like the most about Via's story is how there is no cliché: no bashing towards Tyler or Elena, Mia actually befriends them, Bonnie gets the recognition and love she deserves, Klaus doesn't suddenly turn into a different person just because he loves the oc, he continues to be a piece of shit, and how sweet and empathetic she is, not like those reused badass mc who are just rude.
I would recommend some more, but it's kinda hard to find fanfics with a good Klaus depiction. I'm pretty sure I left out a lot of amazing fanfics, though.

Clingy Little Baby (series) - Bang Chan
Tumblr media
(a/n: THIS HAS BEEN POSTED ON WATTPAD UNDER MY USERNAME may_bornmia !!)
Pairings: Bang Chan x OC (you can picture yourself, whatever makes you comfortable :))
Warnings (for the entirety of the series): littlespace, forthcoming smut, subspace, a HUGE amount of fluff, fast-paced story
CHAPTER 1: A Crush
Bang Christopher Chan has tried his goddamn best to look away, but whenever Park Ahyoung is in the same lecture as him, seated right before him, he fails miserably. It would be an understatement to call his admiration for her just a crush, because, to him, she was the prettiest, most endearing girl on the entire college campus.
He did not lack female attention; instead, he had an abundance of it, with almost every other girl trying to converse with him somehow, or even touch him. And he was polite to everyone -- smiling whenever someone talked to him, helping others with their assignments, and was on good terms with the professors. So it did not make much of a difference whenever someone new came to interact with him.
Yet, he knew that something was different when, for the first time, a fidgety Ahyoung walked over to his seat and feebly asked him about their next assignment. Attention sparked, and he felt slight goosebumps on his skin when she adorably smiled, mumbling a little 'thank you' to him before waddling away. Chan was immediately made aware of her presence; the petite introvert with the cutest smile and sparkly eyes, and the smallest voice known to mankind.
Something in him moved that day -- to say it in the cheesiest manner -- and for two weeks, he had been trying to come up with excuses to talk to her. However, it was a rather tough job, because she was extremely shy and introverted. And she seemed afraid of him, God knows why.
And currently, sitting behind her, his attention kept diverting from the lecture to Ahyoung. He tried his best to tear his focus away from the cutie, but when she turned to the side to face her friend and smile, his heart almost exploded with joy.
It was always a gorgeous sight to see her smile.
As far as he had observed, she only had a single friend, Kim Seungmin, who was super protective of her. It was like he was shielding his own child from the malice of this sinful world. Chan had seen him cuss out loud at some girl who was trying to pick on Ahyoung, and by the end of the curses, that girl had her mascara running down her face.
Chan watched her in a dreamy trance, until his seatmate, Han Jisung, whispered to him, "You look drunk."
The Aussie woke up from his trance and faced Jisung, who stifled a chuckle. Chan sighed and whispered back to him, "Shut up."
"With this," the professor spoke, "We end today's class. You're all dismissed."
Chan was collecting his books when he heard Seungmin speak to Ahyoung, "I have to go home right now. Mom isn't doing well, so I need to take care of her. I won't be able to do the presentation with you in the next class."
Ahyoung made an adorable pout at him, and Chan heard her voice over a mumble for the first time as she spoke, "I hope she gets well soon, Minnie."
The loverboy could almost melt there.
Seungmin spoke further, "Will you be able to present alone?"
"I... can try."
The best friend grinned, patting her head, "I'm rooting for you, alright? Call me once you're done."
He gathered his books and walked out of the class, and Jisung picked up his stuff, saying, "Come on, Chan, let's go. We have a presentation in the next class."
One could see the gears turning in Chan's head. As soon as Ahyoung stood up, fixing her skirt, he spoke up from his seat, "Hey, Ahyoung!"
She looked visibly nervous, "Um, hello..."
"Are you prepared for the presentation?"
Jisung watched in utter curiosity at his friend trying to make her comfortable. He was aware of Chan's crush on her. But what was he doing?
Ahyoung, on the other hand, bit her lower lip in the most latent manner, "I am, but I-I don't have a partner."
"Oh, I don't have a partner, too," Chan lied, pretending to think hard, "How about we partner up for this?"
Ahyoung's eyes widened, and from the background, one could hear Jisung shrieking, "Bro, really?"
"Would you be comfortable partnering up with me?" Chan continued to gently ask her, and she rubbed her shoe on the ground subtly, anxious about the entire ordeal. However, partnering up with someone could prove to be better than doing it all herself, right? All the amount of anxiety was piling up on her, and she kept telling herself in her head: Bang Chan is a good person. Bang Chan is a good person. He won't harm me.
So, she questioned, "We haven't prepared together yet..."
"We still have, like, 30 minutes before the next class. How about we prepare now?" the Aussie grinned charmingly, and she blushed and looked down, "Okay, let's do it."
"Unbelievable," Jisung walked off in comic frustration, having been betrayed just a moment ago.

You Are My Soulmate
Bradley 'Rooster' Bradshaw x Reader
Status: In Progress
Last Updated: March 6th, 2024
Disclaimers: Female!Reader
A/N: This is a Soulmate!AU with a spin. Instead of having a single soulmark, a quarter of the population have multiple. Tinkerbell and Rooster are two of those people. I love Soulmate AUs, and well, the Top Gun Brain-Rot is still ever present, so here we go. This one is going to be a bit different for me, as I'm going to be trying out flipping perspectives within the chapters between Rooster and Tinkerbell (Reader's Nickname throughout the fic).
Themes: Angst, Smut, Soulmate!AU, Bradley is a bit of a dick, Rivals to Friends to Lovers, Unrequited Love (Slight, One-Sided)
Summary: You're ecstatic when you find out you have five soul indicators at midnight on the day of your twenty-first birthday, right before you start Officer Candidate School for the Navy in Rhode Island. OCS is so complex you can’t devote time to searching for your soulmate. On graduating from Officer Candidate School, Naval Aviation Command School, and Aviation Maintenance School at the top of your class, you are given the primary selection of detachment and travel worldwide as an Aviation Maintenance Duty Officer. The excitement you felt on your twenty-first birthday has changed over the past seven years, and you’re impatient to see who your soul is. After years of constant movement, it’s a relief to learn you have been assigned to run maintenance on a squadron’s planes out of Naval Air Station North Island. San Diego is sunny and gorgeous, an absolute dream after being stuck on an aircraft carrier in the middle of the ocean for the past six months. The Dagger Squad is a newly-permanent squadron based out of NAS North Island. Each member welcomed you to Miramar as a part of their maintenance crew with warmth and friendliness. Except for one pilot, callsign: Rooster. He’s the most unpleasant pilot you’ve ever met. He’s full of himself, cocky, arrogant, rude, and condescending. If only he didn’t feel so familiar. If only you didn’t feel so drawn to him.
Tumblr media
Bradley Bradshaw is sure he’s never going to find his soulmate. He’d been in mourning on his twenty-first birthday, still grieving the loss of his mother, followed by the loss of the only father he’d ever known, his Uncle Mav. It isn’t until Bradley is across the country at Officer Candidate School that he realizes he never received his soul indicators. Years later, and thousands of miles away, recovering from a plane crash, Bradley, now known as Rooster, jolts awake to the half-remembered scent of citrus and glistening hair in a thick braid. Without any other indicators, Rooster gives up. After all, who’d want a soul disfigured by something they loved? That’s when Bradley gives up. He sinks into the reputation of the piano-playing, mustachioed casanova and gives up on his dreams of finding a love like his parents had found in each other. And he’s content with his life until he runs into the feisty, loud AMDO officer newly assigned to NASNI. Something about her feels like everything Bradley’s been searching for, at least, if she weren’t completely committed to Bagman already. You can call him what you want, but Rooster doesn’t steal another man’s girl.

Hello all!! This post is dedicated to my newly started fanfic that I have been preparing for the past several months. It can be found on Wattpad on my profile, but you can just click here .
Down below, I will add one random chapter of the fic, just so you can read a little bit of it. But, of course, I would appreciate it if you could go and support my full work :).
Pairing: Spencer x fem!oc
Warnings: mentions of crime, crime scenes, fluff, a little bit of swearing here and there. no use of y/n, the oc has her own name!
Content: The bau is called in for another case. Spencer and OC have feelings for each other but don't want to accept it, even if it's horrifically obvious. After the unsettling case, Spencer tries to calm OC and help her relax her mind.
Word Count: 3.6k
PLEASE KNOW THAT I NAMED THE OC SINCE HER NAME IS USED IN THE FANFIC. Harper White :)
"Holy shit, what did you do?" my mouth fell open at the sight of him. Not him. His hair. Or... well... the lack of it.
"What do you mean?" Spencer looked confused as he sat at his desk.
"Where are the curls? Where did they go?" Garcia came rushing in after my loud gasp.
"Did you join a boy band?" Hotch walked by, his eyes stuck to the obviousness in the room.
"No, what the hell is wrong with you, I got a haircut!" Now he just asked bluntly.
"You look like a twelve-year-old." I leaned onto my desk that was opposite of him, making direct eye contact with him.
"Is it that bad?" he brushed his hair with his fingers. His hands.
"No, Spence!" I felt bad now. "Jokes aside, I actually think you look... cute." I smiled slightly, trying to compliment him. "I think we were all just very used to your curls. I even sometimes imagined you with tied up hair, maybe a bun?" I looked over at Emily.
"Holy shit, do you know how many girls you could pull with that look?" she said excitedly.
"Not that pretty boy would want anyone aside our princess here." Derek came into the office holding his coffee and giving me the look I knew all too well.
"Fuck you." I spat at him with a grin, watching him as he passed by and sitting down at his desk.
"You know you love me." he teased as he sat down behind me.
"Hey, guys, we got a new one." JJ called and like on queue, we all got up and made our way to the conference room.
"Harp, did you really mean it?" Spencer stopped me.
He stopped me by taking my hand. I turned around to face him, and he had this genuine look on his face.
"Spence, we were just joking. You look really good. I like this new boyish look." I said and drove my hand through his now short hair, still the front pieces were. "Change can be good sometimes."
Now, I don't know what came over me, but, without hesitation, I lowered my hand down to the tip of his tie and pulled him by it to get him down to my height and just placed a small peck on his cheek. I think he was surprised as I was because we just looked at each other. I smiled and quickly turned on my heel and continued walking to the conference room, even though I could hardly feel my legs.
We entered, he came in after me and we sat down around the table, waiting for the briefing. I opened the case file that was presented in front of me and looked at the young woman. She couldn't have been much younger than me. In my few years that I've worked here, I often find female victims to be my age. The "mid to late 20s" is a phrase I get shivery from. Brunettes, pretty, young, successful...
"I saw that." Emily's quiet voice snapped me back inti the room.
"Sorry, what?" I looked up from the papers.
"That little stunt just now. I saw that." she smirked, and it hit me what she was talking about.
"Oh, God. Emily!" I tried to brush it off. "Don't make a big deal out of this."
"What's a big deal?" Rossi came in and passed the two of us, taking his seat next to Emily.
"I just witnessed the first ever White x Reid cheek kiss." she made that lovey dovey sound she always does. I rolled my eyes, but Rossi got into character as he looked at Emily, almost excited.
"You're kidding?" he waited before Emily shook her head 'no'. "About time. I was getting sick of those random weird hugs they exchanged."
"I get you, I had the urge to push them together the other day." Derek jumped in.
"I don't want to hear it from you, shit-face." I pointed my finger at him.
They all laughed, but Spencer just smiled to himself. His cheeks took up the bright pink color. For years now, everyone is telling us that it's obvious we like each other, but we just say that it's not true. But it's deadly obvious. We just don't want to admit it. Nor to each other but maybe not to our selves either. The friendship we have is great. Who would want to ruin something like that? Why risk losing someone like Spencer over a stupid crush.
It's just a crush.
"Okay, so we got a woman in her min 20s, in Boise, Idaho. Reported missing. It looks like it's a pattern between these two other missing victims with the same M.O." JJ clicked her remote and showed us the pictures of two other women. "All three kidnaps are almost exactly two months apart. As much as we gathered, the women were reported missing only three days after they were abducted."
"So wait, this guy keeps them for almost three days? What does he do with them?" I asked.
"That's what we are hoping to find out after going to the scenes." Hotch said.
"It looks like they had their lives pretty straight up. All of them in relationships, secure jobs..." Derek flipped through the files as he talked.
"Normal suburban streets, gives the UnSub privacy." Rossi added.
"The victims are quite different, their appearances are. Different hair color, different body shape..." Spencer continued.
"No signs of struggle or forced entry in either of these cases." I pointed out.
"Women like this don't just vanish." Rossi spoke up again.
"Exactly, which is why Garcia did her digging magic and found out about their lives." JJ said and pointed to our tech girl.
"There isn't much to say but that it was obvious how the UnSub was doing it. Their online lives are extremely open and public. Online-life-sharing shit, sorry for the expression, but they were everywhere. Facebook, Twitter, you name it." she said as she pulled up a post from the last victim with the date three days prior to the abduction. "This was the last post from our numero uno, and it matches very much with the other posts on our other victims' wall. Going on a vacation, going on a business trip, but looking at the time stamps, they were posted a day before they went missing."
"The UnSub posted them?" Hotch realized.
"This is like a guide of 'how to know where I'm at if you want to find me' for serial killers. Social networking sites are a goddamn goldmine for this kind of information." I said, almost looking sadly at their posts. It was like a call-up for these kind of people.
"I agree. Especially these women, they posted everything, from what they were having for dinner to where they were going on dates." Spencer confirmed my thought.
"If the UnSub hacked into their accounts to post these, he probably knows around computers. He could be really smart." Emily said.
"He's also patient. Two months between each of these, then again he gets three days to do what he wants with them." Rossi looked back at the files.
"Which means that these women could already be dead. We need to find out what he does in those three days and get this son of a bitch before he can continue his work." Hotch stopped to look at us. "Wheels up in thirty."

I tried to reach up to the small space for my bag above my seat in the jet but struggled to get the bag inside. It didn't help that I was short, but the bag was very overpacked, and it almost fell on my head. I closed my eyes, expecting a thud on my head, but instead, I felt the relief of its weight on my hands. I looked up to see two hands holding the bag and Spencer standing next to me.
"You need help?" he asked, looking down at me.
"No?" I tried to save the little pride I had left.
"You sure about that?" he smirked, still looking down at me.
Still holding my hands up, head down, him holding my bag, I couldn't say 'yes'. "No?" the words came out almost like a squeal.
He giggled, and finally pushed the bag up into the small space and closed it. "What did you put in there? I only have a small bag for these kind of things."
"That's because you are a man, Spence. I, on the other hand, am a young woman who needs many things for a undefined period of time away from home." I dusted off my jacked, not that it was dusty, but I needed to look down because I could feel my cheeks burning up.
I didn't realize till now how close he was.
He smelt like coffee.
"Uh, listen about the thing this morning I didn't-" I started hoping this conversation could end quickly. But I guess he had other plans.
"Why did you do that?" he asked and looked down at me again.
I didn't have a choice but look back up at him. His hazel eyes were almost wide open, but he had a scent of mystery in them. Why did he want to know? "What do you mean?"
His gaze was going up and down from my eyes, then from one to the other. What was he looking at?
"Why did you do it?" he almost repeated his question.
I couldn't stop looking at him. I wanted to. I could feel shivers going down my spine.
Was he getting closer?
"I-uh... I don't know..." I almost whispered.
He was getting closer.
"I think you do." he whispered back, his hands in his pockets, but he was slowly, almost insensibly inching his head downwards to me.
I tried to back up, because I couldn't handle him being so close. But when I tried to back up, my knees met with the chairs and I fell down on them, him following me. A small yelp escaped my lips before I crashed with the cushions beneath me. After a second , I realized his hands were on the sides of my head and he was inches away from me. I stared blankly into his face, but his eyes were traveling again up and down my face. I guess my eyes copied his pattern and I realized what he was looking.
He was looking at my lips.
"I'm sorry I-" he started, finally. The silence was choking me.
"No, I-" I stuttered. "It's okay..."
"Here, let me help you." he said and pushed himself up. Holding the table with one hand, he reached with the other to pull me up. I guess he underestimated how light I was when he pulled me, making me fly up and bumping into his chest.
"Shit, I'm sorry, I-" I quickly apologized.
"No, this is on me and-" he stopped.
I looked up at him only to see him staring at something on my face. "What?"
"You, uh-" he stuttered. "Your lipstick got smudged a little."
Crap. "Oh, here?" I brushed on the tip of my lips.
"No, it's still there, just here." he tried pointing at his face, mirroring where the smudge was.
I wiped again. "Better?"
He made a frowning face. "No, it's- " he sighed, "You know what, let me just-"
Cue 'Careless whisper'.
He raised up his hand only to cup my chin with his long fingers. They were warm. His touch was warm. He swiped on the bottom line of my lips. My lower lip moved with his swipe and all I could do was feel the sensation of his touch. He looked back up at me, but even after he got rid of the smudge on my lips, he didn't move his hand. I don't think I wanted him to..
"Hey, sorry we're late, I forgot where I put my deodorant." Emily's voice made us both abruptly step back. The, now, lack of his touch left a weird cold on my face.
"I already told you, it's no big deal." Derek added as he came in with his bag behind her.
"Maybe for you, but we ladies need that. It's a necessity." JJ came in next.
"I got those natural scents. No need for those chemical ones." Derek laughed and placed his bag next to mine in the compartment above our seats.
"Ew..." I muttered after letting him take the window seat. "I'm not sure I want to sit next to you anymore."
"I'll spray perfume on him, so he smells like flowers." JJ joked, and the three of us laughed while Derek frowned.
"Hey, how did you get you bag up there?" he turned to me and asked, pointing above his head.
"I helped her, she was struggling with it since it was pretty heavy." Spencer said as he sat next to Emily opposite from us.
"That's it, pretty boy. You gotta be a gentleman." he mouthed those last words while swinging in his seat.
"You can really be a lot sometimes." Emily gave him a deathly glare, to which he only laughed more.
I, too, laughed. Rossi and Hotch came in and gave us the files to look over again while we fly. The plane soon took off. Looking down at the now familiar pictures, I wondered about their families and what waited for us when we arrive. I looked at Spencer through my eyebrows, only to catch him looking back at me. He quickly looked back down at his file, a small smile curving on his lips. I smiled to myself.
"How can someone be interested in this?" Rossi asked, a look of confusion on his face.
"What do you mean?" Emily asked.
"Their social network walls. Who has the need to share these things with the world, just look at this. 'Having sushi for dinner. Yum.' 'My boss is making me stay in the office late again. Grr.'
We all laughed as he read those status updates. It was funny how people nowadays had the need to put their life out there.
"I think that's just it. The hope that someone out there cares about the things we do, that we do matter." Derek said after he stopped laughing.
"So our UnSub is finding these women on their online profiles. Can't we use that to find him?" Emily asked.
"The lead detective already tried going through their followers lists, they all check out." JJ answered her.
"Social networks can be extremely insecure. Recently, Facebook tried to update their privacy settings and in doing so made every profile viewable." Spencer said and pressed his lips together.
"Do you have a Facebook profile?" JJ asked me.
"God, no. I run away from social media." I replied. "But even if I did, my first status update would be 'Enjoying Rossi's special spaghetti dish. Yum.' " We all laughed again.
"This does tell us how he finds them, but not how he gets into their houses." Hotch said, bringing us back to the brutal reality of this situation.
"Maybe a key copy?" Rossi asked.
"Maybe, but look, the last victim had a home security installed. The code was entered at 1:56am, not only that, but he somehow went past her dog too." Spencer read from the files. "A German Shepard went missing the night that she did."
"This guy had to be in and out of the house before..." Derek said. "He builds up a rose so he gets in, gets familiar with the house and knows he can safely come back and kidnap them."
"What about unknown people you feel safe letting inside your home?" Rossi continued his thought. "Home repair guys, someone who volunteered to walk your dog?"
"The detective looked into that too, no one came close to being a killer." JJ added to our brainstorm.
"We need to go over everything ourselves. Morgan, Prentiss, start with the last abduction sight. The rest of you go over the women's lives, see if you can find anything. Start with family and friends on their social networking sites. If this is how the UnSub is finding them, maybe they are connected without even realizing it." Hotch gave the orders, we were only left to nod.
***
It was a twisted case. We lost another woman in the process. The bastard kept them in a freezer. A fucking freezer. Just because they had this specific face symmetry. Even after years working in this department, I still find myself questioning how can people be so wicked and evil. The worst part is the way we find them. We might not be like them but we sure as hell know to think like them. Does that make us that much different?
I stared at the endless sky outside my window. It was almost night-time, so watching the sun go down was majestic. The colorful clouds flew around, the sun slowly hid behind them. On the other hand, Derek was snoring on the small sofa in the back of the jet. Rossi and Hotch were reading something on the other part, JJ and Emily were sleeping in their chairs next to me. Spencer was sitting across from me reading one of his books, quickly shifting through the pages.
My mind was still foggy. I tried to clear my mind and think about anything else other than the twisted ways the human mind could work sometimes. I stood up, trying to reach for my bag up in the compartment above my seats. I tried to stretch up to it, but it was too high up.
I fucking hate being short.
"Do you need help?" Spencer asked quietly.
"If you don't mind. I just wanted to take out my headphones, I forgot to take them out earlier." I explained.
"No, it's no problem. Here-" he said and got up from his seat. He opened the small space and pulled out my bag. I took it from him and took my mp3 player and headphones before giving the bag back to him to put it back up. He closed the small space and sat back down in his seat. "You okay?" he asked while picking up his book.
"Yeah, why?" I looked at him, a bit weirded out by his question while I connected the headphones to the player and tried to find one of the songs that I use to calm down."
"It's just, most of the time that you listen to music on out flight back home is after a pretty traumatic case. Not just that but emotionally exhausting. Also, when the victims are similar to you, their age, their lives, they are almost identical to the life you have, and the worst part is that those groups of women are the most targeted. When you don't want to think, you play music. You try to zone out with it." he explained. "So, I guess that's why I'm asking if you're okay. I think you're not."
I looked at him, almost frozen. He said everything. What else was there to say? Sometimes, I hated that he could read me with such ease. I put the player and headphones beside me and lean on the table that separated us. "You're right. I'm not okay." I sigh and brush my face with my hands. They were cold. I support my head with my hands, fingers intertwined with each other. "What he said to Emily. It's still bugging me. You will never understand what I see when I look at them. But my followers do." I recited his words. "It was their faces, but why? What was so special about them?"
Spencer thought about my words. "Well, it could be multiple things. A reflection of himself, someone in his life, someone he wished to have or to be."
"But why? What if my face was similar to theirs? Would I be next?"
"Your face isn't like theirs."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I raised an eyebrow.
"No-no, I didn't mean it like that. I meant that your symmetry of your face isn't like the victims face. I didn't mean to say your face wasn't nice, I think your face is beautiful. Not beautiful, pretty, just- uh, good-looking is what I'm trying to say." he stuttered.
I smiled at his clumsy words. He's cheeks again started turning into a shade of pink. "I think your face is good-looking, too."
I took the player back into my hands to find a song that now I was determined to listen. It was in my head and I needed to listen to it. "What are you gonna listen to?" he asked.
"I have this song in my head, I think I'll start with it and then just go with shuffle. The playlist is good so I don't mind what comes after." I said, not looking up from the small screen.
"Really? What's the song?"
" '74-'75' "
"I don't think I heard it."
"Do you want to listen to it with me?" I asked, finally able to find the song and looking back up at him.
"You sure? I don't want to mess with your time listening to music that calms you."
"Of course, I'm sure. Come here." I patted the seat next to me.
He smiled and got up to sit next to me. I gave him one of the headphones. "Right." and I put in the left one. I started the song and looked up at him. The opening course was a guitar solo, which I always loved in songs. He smiled back at me, bobbing his head slightly in the rhythm. After that approvement, I relaxed my head on the cushion on the back of my seat, trying to relax. Maybe even sleep.

Have been reading your analyses since I've returned to Tumblr. Please make one of the Draupadi that we see in pop culture and the canon Draupadi, if you haven't already. Thank You so much :)
Okay! So, here I go!
So, Draupadi in pop culture is mostly two things, the shows, and the books. Let me start off with the books. I am taking three main books as base:
Karna's wife- The outcast queen: This book is based on some fictional girl named Uruvi, who is the Princess of Pukhya (ig?). She and Karna are the typical Wattpad OCs here. Draupadi here happens to be the female Arjun in Karna related stories, someone who is "jealous" of Uruvi. Uruvi happened to be involved with Arjun, beforehand, idk, am not much aware about this book. Uruvi seems to believe that the disrobing of Draupadi is a private moment b/w Karna and Drau, and that Drau is in love with him. Ugh.
Arjun-Without a doubt: DK much about this one, but apparently, Draupadi is jealous of fucking GANDIVA of all things. Oh, pls, do u srsly think that she has that to be jealous of? If I were this book's Draupadi, then I would be jealous of Nakul, for his insanely good looks-
Palace of Illusions: again, IDK much, but IK this much, that this book as well, loves to show the DrauKarn agenda. Plz. Draupadi does not need to be in love with the man who wanted her disrobed.
My conclusion, with these 3 main books, is that these authors love to degrade a perfectly fine female character. Pop culture Draupadi has ruined her image. Close your eyes and think about Draupadi, and think what you get in mind. Is she angry/short tempered? Is she always raving about her revenge? Is she being blood-thirsty? Is she being well...self righteous? Is she being jealous of her co-wives? If yes, then that is NOT her. That is a shadow, an insult. And trust me, these pop culture influences ruin your image of her to the extent that you CANNOT differentiate at all b/w the real her and the fake her.
Now, part 2, is Draupadi in the shows. *Rubs hands* now, if you like any shows, I shall tell u, this is gonna be BRUTAL. No hate is meant to any actress who has played Draupadi.
BR Chopra's Mahabharat: The first mainstream adaptation of Mahabharata on screen. In my opinion, their portrayal of Draupadi WAS , IS and WILL BE....in the finest of words, shitty. She says the word "andhe ka putra andha", she refuses to marry Karna as he is a sutaputra (We will get on that soon), and she raves about "mere kesh", and is clearly bloodthirsty. Draupadi is not even mildly disgusted or shaken by the fact that her hair is drenched in someone's blood, and it makes her come off as inhumane, arrogant and selfish. Draupadi did have a heart, and canonically, was moved by the destruction of the whole Kuru dynasty. Roopa Ganguly could have been a fantastic Drau, IF, the directors did not do this. Her friendship with Krishna receives a plus point, as does the scene which SHOWS that she is in her periods during the game of dice.
Dharmakshetra: Draupadi here is just straight up...bitchy? She is being blamed by both Kunti and Gandhari for "causing the war". Oh pls, if someone should be blamed, it is your SONS. She was the victim there. But then, honestly, this Draupadi deserves it. She roasts Arjun for not loving her, but then does the EXACT same thing with her other husbands. She roasts Yudi for "loving his brother's wife". Plz, shut your mouth bae.
Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabharaat Ki: Yup, this was the OG spelling. They have Anita Hassandani as Draupadi, and she is....well, acting like she is a part of some random nukkad naatak. I watched one episode, and that was enough for me. If you want your sanity intact, then don't watch it.
Draupadi: This show has quite the pretty Draupadi, but here, the other Pandavas are literally getting horny over Draupadi. They show her "wedding night" with each one of them, and Arjun actually says that he was jealous of the fact that Bhima got to sleep with her. And I am jealous that you get to rest your head on Krishna's shoulder and sob, Arjun, but do you see me complaining?
Suryaputra Karna: Draupadi is fucking weird here. The scenes are copied from StarBharat, clearly, and well ah. What do I say? This show is clearly not watchable for man kind.
RadhaKrishn: eh. Copied again, from StarBharat, and they showed the andhe ka putra andha wala thing, and my feelings are terribly hurt. *sigh* if I could get this director to gamble off the whole Production House to me, then the world would have been a different place.
will need full blown two reblogs, one for the canon, and one for StarBharat to cover this-

crossover episode (mila)
masterlist | wattpad
Tumblr media
italics dialogue = english | bold dialogue = japanese
this chapter is not canon, and is just for funzies. this is a collaboration with @enmi-land with her enha oc (who is also poly), mila!
kang della and milana bai in the same room?! is this a crossover episode?! (pls tell me you get this reference)
contains: 4.6k words, a bit (or well... kinda a lot) of angst but a happy ending!, mentions of cheating (mainly jay)
What the fuck just happened?
I asked to be dropped off at the convenience store near our dorm. I needed to buy some toothpaste, and I was perfectly fine with walking back. It had happened many times before without any issues over the (almost) three years we've lived here.
Until now. Though it's not anything I could ever explain.
As I was about to enter the building, someone behind me called my name.
"Della," she said quietly.
"Ah, 안녕하세요," I bowed nervously. Her hood was up, and a mask concealed her face. If anything were to happen, I wouldn't be able to describe her features. I was terrified. (annyeong haseyo = hello)
"Don't hate me. And good luck. I won't take long, I promise," she slowly made her way closer.
The moment she uttered the words 'don't hate me,' my instincts kicked in, and I discreetly tried to retrieve my card from my pocket. When she started getting closer, I didn't care anymore and tapped the card reader without hesitation.
But the doors open and close automatically. Of course she would catch up to me.
"Wait!" even if I ran as fast as I could, it's either the stairs or the elevator, both of which would take a lot of time.
She barely did anything to me. All she did was touch my back as I rushed up the stairs. Though I suddenly felt intense dizziness, and felt as if I were floating for a moment, before returning to normal.
She was nowhere to be found afterwards and everything seemed the same..
Yet, somehow, everything felt different. It was as if the air and the overall atmosphere had changed. I couldn't pinpoint what it was exactly.
Perhaps it was magic.
What if she's a witch though... Witches scare the shit outta me.
I don't know what she did, but I do know that I have to hurry home before anything else happens.
I just wanna get home and cuddle with whoever's free.
Taking a deep breath, I entered the dorm using the combination.
My heart sank as soon as I stepped in.
Female shoes. Ones that are definitely not mine.
Nausea overcame me, and my breathing became heavy as tears welled up.
No. Della, don't. You trust them. She could be anyone. No one is cheating on you.
What if it's a sasaeng? Did that girl break into our– no. Most, if not all, of the boys should be home. They would have done something if someone had broken in.
It can't be a relative either, as we would have informed the group beforehand.
Then who is she?
"I'm home," I managed to say in a normal voice, trying to hold back the tears.
I heard panicked shuffling and quickly wiped away stray tears before they could see me.
You're strong, Kang Della. Don't show any weakness or insecurity to whoever this person is.
And there she was, someone I had never met or seen before.
She had made herself at home, wearing loungewear and her hair styled in a messy up-do.
Her eyes were wide, mirroring my previous vulnerability, and her breathing was heavy.
And she was stunning. Her freshly-dyed blonde hair contrasted with my midnight black one. She was tall (though not as tall as me, judging by how high she reached the shoe rack), with a small face, big eyes, and plump lips.
Honestly, she reminded me of myself, but in a different font or something. I don't think she's Korean.
"Who are you, and how did you find out where we live?" she asked me fearfully. "How did you know the passcode?"
Wow.
Just wow.
I know that in situations like this (or at least what it's looking like), the blame should mainly fall on the cheater rather than the person they cheated with.
But she just referred to my home as hers. Ain't no fucking way.
"Where YOU live?" I scoffed, licking the inside of my cheek. "I'm sorry– who are you, and why are YOU here?"
That's when I noticed she was wearing my favorite Jay-shirt. It felt like my heart was being crushed, and I could feel the symptoms of a panic attack creeping up.
My sweet Jay. Earlier today, he woke me up and told me I was the most beautiful woman in the world. How lucky he felt to have me. His eyes showed sincerity. Was it all a lie? How can someone so lovely be so cruel?
"I live here. Who are you, and how did you know the passcode?" she responded, a bit more sternly. What the hell?
"This is Enhypen's dorm. I live here," I said, in disbelief that she didn't recognize me, even though she's dating a member of my group.
Shit. That stings. Park Jongseong fucking cheated on me.
Confusion crossed her face, and she was about to say something when we were interrupted by more shuffling.
We both turned and saw an angry Heeseung.
"What are you doing here? How did you get in?" he said sternly, pulling her behind him to protect her.
Heeseung too? My protective Heeseung who got angry at the other members if they left me unsupervised after my injury.
Now he's protecting her instead of me?
My heart started pounding, and it became harder to breathe.
"Heeseung-oppa?" I said in a small voice, feeling incredibly betrayed.
"Who are you?! Get out of our house before we call the police!" he raised his voice at me. The boys had never spoken to me like that before, especially not in such a harsh tone.
"I live here! Lee Heeseung, what are you saying?!" my voice shook as a few tears escaped.
More commotion followed, and this time all seven members appeared. Even Jake, who I could see peeking from the side of the wall.
Is he... afraid of me?
My Jake who was scared of the girls in I-Land but became so comfortable with me that his golden retriever personality came out. Now he barely wants to see me?
"You don't live here. Who are you?" Jungwon stepped forward. My Jungwon. Enhypen's leader who is ready to protect everyone despite being maknae.
But why isn't he protecting me?
"I—" the sight of all my boyfriends turning against me and defending this girl became too much. I could feel myself starting to hyperventilate, and a panic attack was on the verge of consuming me.
Shit. I haven't had a panic attack in so long and the fact that my lovers are the ones to trigger it is insane. Everything was perfect just this morning– what happened?
"Breathe. Take your time," Oh my Sunghoon. So incredibly precious. Always reassuring and giving me reminders since day one.
"Sunghoon," Heeseung scolded.
"She's going to have a panic attack! How can she explain anything?" Sunghoon reasoned. "Niki, get her some water."
"No, Niki. She should leave. Now," Sunoo said firmly. "I'm calling the police." My Sunoo, our sunshine. We've had our squabbles, but I've never been this scared of him. Now I understand what people mean when they say he has an intimidating face.
"Wait, wait. What's your name?" Riki asked. "Calm down a bit. Tell us how you got in," he approached me and gently rubbed my shoulder. I tend to forget that he's still so young since he hates when I remind him of our slight age gap. My Riki is too pure sometimes. He's doing this when I'm a stranger to them.
Wait.
It suddenly hit me.
Shit, why didn't my brain work faster?
I'm a stranger to them. They don't know who I am.
It breaks my heart but I should at least introduce myself so that they know I'm not a threat.
Was this the working of that bitch (no Della, don't call her a bitch, you don't know her) who used witchcraft? Did she erase their memories or something?
"Jay-hyung, call the police," Riki switched languages, probably to ensure that I don't understand.
"Wait! Don't call!" my eyes widened, instinctively grabbing Riki's wrist. "I'm not a crazy fan, I swear!"
"Let go of him," everyone said in unison.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hold him. It was a reflex," I let go and took a deep breath. "My name is Kang Della. I'm a member of Enhypen."
"I'm sorry, what?" Sunoo scoffed. "We only have two female members in our team."
Two?
"What the fuck is happening with the world?" I couldn't help but chuckle humorlessly. "Have I gone insane?"
There's no fucking way that what I'm thinking is what happened.
"Alice?" I simply asked.
"What is Alice... answer us– what do you mean you're a member of Enhypen?" Jungwon asked.
"Did I do that thing from Everything, Everywhere, All at Once?" I leaned against the wall, clutching my aching head. "Just give me a second."
I have officially gone insane.
Even if I did 'multiverse hopped' or whatever you call it, I have officially gone insane. My head fucking hurts.
This is why I am afraid of witches.
"Can you please answer us?" Jake asked in a softer voice.
"My name is Kang Della. I was born on March 16, 2003. I'm from Seongbuk-gu, and in 2020, I participated in a survival show called I-Land," I looked up at their faces, hoping to see some recognition. Some looked in disbelief, while others seemed slightly annoyed.
"I made it into the final lineup of Enhypen. Seven boys, two girls. It was you seven plus me and Alice, but Alice left shortly after, so I was the only girl," my eyes welled up with tears at the thought of them not remembering me after everything we went through. "I live here. This dorm has been my home for almost three years. I was attending a class in university, and suddenly I came home to... to this."
"You expect us to–" Heeseung was about to say something when she cut him off. She moved closer to me, looking me in the eye. "Mila–"
"Do you have any proof?" she asked softly.
I maintained eye contact as I pulled out my phone. I let out a shaky breath when I looked at the screen for my Face ID.
The lock screen displayed a picture of us, my Enha.
I opened the gallery app, and a few tears escaped my eyes. I flinched slightly when Mila's hand reached out to wipe them away.
"Take your time," she assured me. Damn, she's sweet too. She seems perfect.
"Thank you," I whispered. My thumb hovered over the photo album labeled 'my forever.' I know I'm being dramatic but all I kept thinking was 'will I ever return to my world again?' "Here you go," I handed her my phone.
I watched as she scrolled through the pictures, but quickly averted my gaze to the floor. I really want to go home. I'm surrounded by familiar faces, but they're not my comfort people.
"Guys... These are actually you..." Mila turned around to show the seven. "And it's not even a look-alike, it's definitely you. This is the company building," Jay took the phone out of her hands to have a closer look.
I saw him tap on a specific video, and Shout Out started playing. It must be from one of our concerts.
That's when I couldn't take it anymore. Again.
I broke down. A full-on panic attack.
"Oh my God," Mila wrapped her arms around me. "Let's get you inside. Niki, get her some water."
Hearing Shout Out made me think of four things at the same time:
One: How the hell am I going to get back home, and how long will it take?
Two: I'm all alone in this world/universe/whatever this is.
Three: I'm surrounded by people who resemble and act like my soulmates, but they're not mine.
And, four: I guess we're not together in every universe after all. I know it's probably impossible, and the guys were just trying to reassure me, but it still hurts.
This is one of the worst reality checks I've ever received.
Tumblr media
Afterward, I didn't feel like doing anything. I didn't wanna eat, talk or look anyone in the eye. I just sat lazily on the couch and occasionally observed this Enha. I could sense that Heeseung, Jake, Sunghoon, and Sunoo were more cautious around me, while Jungwon, Jay, Mila, and Niki tried to attend to their "guest."
I also noticed a little something else.
I ended up spending the night, sleeping in Mila's bed while she sleeps in Kiara's since the other female member was away for two days.
Just like our schedule, theirs have a two-day break.
I overheard a few members canceling their plans because of me, which made me feel incredibly guilty.
I didn't want to stay here, but if I had left, Mila would have come with me, and that was a hard no from all the male members.
Mila hadn't left my side since my panic attack. She was doing everything she could to make me feel better, and I truly appreciated it.
That's why, when we're finally fully alone, I immediately tried to initiate a conversation.
"Are you dating any of the boys?" I asked, avoiding eye contact.
I needed to be sure. I wanted to confirm my observations.
Also, after hearing her talk with Jake, I noticed that she's fluent in English and had an Aussie accent. It seemed like she was more comfortable and fluent in English than in Korean.
"What?" from the corner of my eye, she seemed startled but relieved to hear my voice.
"All seven of them, perhaps?" I whispered.
She remained silent for a few moments before answering quietly.
"Yeah. All seven."
I let out a deep breath and nodded.
She's just like me.
"I noticed the way you look at each other," I said. They were trying not to reveal anything in front of me, but eyes don't lie.
It hurt even more knowing that this universe's Della wouldn't be with this Enha. Why would they when they have this goddess of a member?
I would've cried if I had not exhausted all my tears.
"We didn't want to tell you because we saw your photos," she said. "You're dating all of them too, aren't you?"
All I could do was nod.
"We were worried that our affection would... hurt you," well that's sweet of them.
"Thank you, I really appreciate it," I breathed out. "But I'm sure looking at those pictures on my phone pains you just as much, so you don't have to hide. I'll be fine."
It must be even more surreal for her to suddenly meet this girl in the comfort of her home, who has solid proof that she came from another dimension.
"It didn't," she said confidently, making me look up at her. "I mean... it did at first– like like– when you– I mean, when I first saw the pictures and how smitten you are," she stuttered a bit at the eye contact. "–but honestly? I'm completely okay with it," she smiled sweetly.
She's really cute.
"Because you kinda remind me of myself," her eyes sparkled. "I like to think of you as a Korean version of me."
That's an interesting way to put it.
We do resemble each other. We're both members of Enhypen. We're both dating the same people. Our names both end in 'la', and we're practically the same height. There could be a lot more too.
"That's a great take," I smiled for the first time since being here. "But how are you so sure that we're THAT similar? We barely know anything about each other."
Her eyes lit up even more (if that was even possible), and she eagerly sat beside me.
"First things first, I was also born in March 2003."
Tumblr media
Mila and I ended up chatting until two.
Our conversation covered various topics, from discussing our favorite things to gossiping about our respective Enhas.
I absolutely adore Mila. We have so much in common, and she's incredibly cute.
I discovered that our personalities are quite different though. She has more of a bright energy.
And well... she's an extrovert with a gorgeous, friendly face.
But I think our contrasting personalities will make our bond even stronger. People like her are good for me.
At around two-fifteen, my hunger became unbearable, so I mustered the will to go to the kitchen.
I really didn't want to run into any of the boys, but Mila assured me that they should all be in their rooms playing games by now (just like my Enha), so I hoped she was right.
Especially because she's calling it a night so she can't accompany me.
Poor girl had a tiring day but still managed to stay up just to talk to me.
I decided to take Mila's suggestion and make myself some cup ramyeon to bring back to the room. That way, if I did encounter any of the members, I could quickly retreat.
"Good night, Lala. Enjoy your food," Mila yawned.
"'Night, Mimi. Sweet dreams," I replied before leaving the room.
Fortunately, the lights were out in the living room, indicating that no one is outside their rooms (unless they're in the bathroom).
I swiftly prepared my noodles and nearly succeeded in avoiding the boys, until the door to the master bedroom opened, revealing Jake followed by Jay.
They halted in their tracks upon seeing me. Jay even glanced back at the other members.
"Della-ssi," Jake exhaled. "You're not asleep?"
"I got hungry, and Mila told me to eat," I spoke my first words to them since my arrival.
"Eat up. You must be hungry," he eyed the ramyeon with a nod.
"Thank y–" I reached for the doorknob of the girls' room until Jay called out.
"Della-ssi? Do you mind coming here for a bit? You can eat the ramyeon while we're at it too," he pushed into the space Jake slightly left. "We wanna say a few things."
Shit. This is going to be awkward.
"A-ah... Okay..." I walked towards the room slowly. "안녕하세요," I greeted with a small bow.
"No need for formalities," Sunghoon said from his bed. "You can sit on my chair," he pointed.
"Thank you," I immediately took the seat, opening the lid of my ramyeon.
"You add cheese, too?" Sunoo asked, eyeing my noodles.
"Yeah, I always do," I stirred my noodles, slowly realising the 'too' in his question. "Do you also use cheese?"
"Mila does," all seven said in unison.
"Ah..." damn they also have that syncing habit. "Does she also use half of the seasoning packet?"
"No, she loves spice," Jay answered. An awkward silence followed before Jungwon broke it.
"Listen... We're sincerely sorry for being rude to you earlier. We were startled and scared that a stranger was in our home," he began. "On behalf of all seven of us, we deeply apologize."
"Oh no! Not at all! I completely understand!" I shook my hand. "I practically broke in, so it's only natural for you all to panic."
"We know, but still... we caused you to have a panic attack," Heeseung hugged his knees. "We're truly sorry."
"Don't worry about it. I completely understand, and I forgive you," I smiled softly. "I really appreciate it."
Silence hung in the air for a few moments. The only sounds coming from my slurps, Sunghoon's finger tapping, and Jake's foot bouncing.
I thought about leaving, but I wasn't sure how. Maybe I could quickly finish my food and just excuse myself.
"How is–" Riki spoke up. "What's Enhypen like in your world?"
Oh wow.
First off, he called me 'noona' and I had forgotten that they don't know about my dislike for that term.
Secondly, I had discussed this with Mila, but hearing one of the guys ask about it was a bit heart-wrenching to be honest.
The other members looked at me with anticipation.
"In my world, Enhypen is..." I took a deep breath. "Popularity wise, me and Mila concluded that we're pretty much the same. Majority, if not all of our achievements are the same," I smiled at the thought.
"I guess that's good then..." they nodded slowly.
"Relationship-wise?" My smile wavered slightly at Sunghoon's question. I took another, even deeper breath before responding.
"Our bond keeps getting stronger," I fiddled with my chopsticks. "The public doesn't know, and only a few trusted do, but we just love showing it off," I grinned. "Whether subtly or not-so-subtly."
"Do we–" Jungwon cleared his throat. "Do we treat you well?"
"What?" I chuckled.
"Come on, you can tell us! Did they treat you well? Your secret is 100% safe with us, like... who would we even tell?!" Sunoo became excited at the topic.
"Well, that's true," I giggled, then became serious again. "You– well... they treat me incredibly well. More than I deserve. I love each and every one of them deeply, and they mean the world to me. All seven of them."
"We can tell. The way you talk about them speaks volumes," Riki smiled, and I smiled back.
"I hope they realise it too," and my mood went back to being somber.
Please, I really hope I can return. I really hope that girl/witch/whatever she was told the truth and actually won't take long.
And please, let it be before the public/my parents find out. I'm not sure what the company would do but I can imagine mom crying before anything else and dad causing chaos in attempt to find me.
I wonder how the boys reacted. I'm pretty sure Heeseung would tell everyone to remain calm, but ironically be the most panicked. Sunghoon would–
"What's Jake like?" Jake interrupted my train of thought. "Am I still Australian?"
I couldn't help but laugh at his question, and it sparked curiosity in the other members about their alternate selves as well.
I noticed that they were mostly the same as my Enha, although not entirely identical. They have a few different traits, and based on what Mila told me, the way they treat their girlfriend is quite different as well.
Though what was undoubtedly clear to me was their love for Mila. They were so deeply in love with her, it's so endearing to see.
I'm so glad Mila got someone good.
Well... plural.
Tumblr media
Yesterday was such an eventful day for me that I ended up sleeping in and didn't wake up until the commotion outside the room became too loud to ignore.
I could hear voices, but my mind struggled to process the words being said.
That was until I suddenly realised that there were way too many voices to be just eight.
Especially when some of those voices seem to be talking to themselves, like– why is Sunghoon asking and answering himself?
...
Oh!
I quickly sat up and waited for a moment before rushing out of the room.
There they are.
My seven men.
Home.
I could see them collectively sigh in relief at the sight of me.
Without a second thought, I raced to give them a massive hug.
I didn't know who I was aiming to hug first since I wasn't really thinking straight— I just wanted to be engulfed in a group hug, desperately hoping it was possible.
And it was. I found myself embracing the tallest two members, and the rest of the group wrapped their arms around us straight away. Just how we like our intimate group hugs.
Tears began to well up, and I just know that I'm gonna ugly cry any second now.
"Della," Sunoo's voice quivered, and that's when the ugly sobs started.
"Awww, Della," I felt a gentle hand caressing my hair. "Our baby."
"I- I missed y-you all so muchhh," I hiccuped. "Ho-howw did you find me?"
"We've told you so many times, Lala. No matter how lost you are, we'll always come and guide you home."
Tumblr media
As it turns out, the girl who brought me here was Della from another dimension. She came from a world where she was extremely academically gifted and just got tired of her straining job and constant scrutiny.
So she tried to create a universe-hopping device in secret, in hopes of having just a few moments to herself where she can try living someone else's life.
My universe just so happen to be the first one she successfully jumped to. She realised the potential chaos that could arise from two Dellas existing simultaneously, and had to find and transport me quick. She said we can take at least an hour to be in one universe with our alternate selves.
With a simple touch, she transported me to a reality that was the safest route. One where a Della no longer existed.
Her device was not advanced enough to find out how or what the other universe Dellas are doing yet, so when she found out that she landed in one where the Della was an idol...
Needless to say, she didn't need much convincing to bring me back ASAP.
What took a little longer was just her going back and tuning her failed attempts to be just like her current one, just so the boys can come fetch me.
Apparently they paid her a ton (IN US DOLLARS.), even though they were only borrowing and this whole grand gesture was totally not necessary.
I love them so fucking much. How can you fucking not?
Either they love me so much or they just wanna universe-hop. But I like to be a bit delusional.
"Thank you so much for everythingg!" I hugged Mila tightly. "I'm so sorry for this mess and for the has–"
"Aish– don't even mention it," Mila hugged me tighter. "I'm sorry you were transported but I'm so glad you landed here."
"I'm so glad to have met youu," I nuzzled her hair. "I wish we could see each other again after this."
"I hope so too! Oh my God– this will be our first and last time meeting!" I could feel Mila mirroring my nuzzle on my shoulder. "This is so sad! We can't even exchange contacts!"
"Take care of yourself, okay? And work hard so Enhypen can achieve more," I rubbed her back. "Good luck with your men too. I hope everything goes well."
"You too! You too! Let's both work hard so when we do see each other again, we'll be equally proud!" we pulled away from each other. "Do you wanna hug the guys? Like.. my guys?"
Uhh....
"I would buuut..." I turned my gaze to the scene behind Mila, prompting her to look in the same direction.
We learned that my Enha is the slightest bit more intimidating. It's not apparent in the stories we told each other (especially Mila's jealousy and teasing episodes– dear God, my Enha feels like primary school) but with Mila's Enha constantly fidgeting under my Enha's glares, I feel like the latter is just the tiniest bit more intimidating.
"Oh my God– what happened?" Mila giggled quietly at me.
"They're jealous because your men are basically them but in another dimension so they don't want no chances of... you know..." my English suddenly stopped working.
"Ahh– ahh!" thankfully Mila fully understood my point. "Am I just invisible to them? Like my guys' girlfriend is right here!"
"Don't worry about it though, they're just being cute," I smiled, making my way over to them. "Thank you for having me in your home, and I'm sorry for intruding. I hope you have a great rest-of-your-day-off," I said to Mila's Enha while wrapping my arms around my Jungwon.
"Don't mention it. Thank you for being friends with Mila. She looks really happy," Mila's Sunghoon spoke in behalf. "We hope you can meet each other again one day."
"Hopefully," I smiled wider at the sight of Mila hugging her Jungwon. "I'll see you guys around, too."
"We'll look forward to it," they all gave a polite smile, causing Mila to gasp and slap the second nearest one (Riki)'s shoulder.
"What do you mean you'll look forward to meeting her again?!" she playfully pouted. "I'm right here!"
"Sorry my love– we were just saying go–" the cute little exchange was interrupted by SmartDella reminding us of the time. "Well– we hope to see you one day– YOU ALL one day."
"Likewise," my Jungwon squeezed my shoulder before looking at me. "Ready to go home, Lala?"
"Of course I am."
this last scene might be a bit rushed but oh welllll
plus i couldn’t focus on any of my assignments until THIS WAS FINISHED SO NOW i will sleep

━━━━━━━━》❈《 ━━━━━━━
Valeria always knew that her place in life was definitely not to be someone normal, that marrying and taking care of a man was not her thing. She was better than a man, that's why she had never been with one. She was too good to be with one, she considered those of her sex to be more intelligent, cunning… besides being harpies when they set their minds to it.
Maybe that's why she always liked them, as a woman, she knew what they were capable of, she could predict certain things as she was familiar with such behavior and she liked to be in control.
She was fascinated, no, she loved being in control.
She was dominant, which, of course, the men in a place as traditional as Las Almas were not fond of. Las Almas could be a beautifully dark place, capable of corrupting anyone if they were not careful. Its beautiful scenery hid underneath as much as the place could thanks to drug trafficking and corruption.
Violence was always there, whether openly or hidden, in every corner, it was not a place where anyone could be. Children grew up in that environment, Valeria was no exception. Since she was a little girl, she saw bodies lying in the middle of the street, marks and warnings of territory. Thanks to this, she knew at a glance which neighborhood to get into and which not to get into, she became instinctive, with good reflexes, as well as developing a perception to know when there would be trouble before it happened.
Not wanting to waste what she already knew, she joined the army and quickly rose through the ranks until she ended up in the Mexican Special Forces. Eventually he became disillusioned, taking a bad taste in his mouth when he saw that it was the same thing that was going on in Las Almas.
It was the same shit, only legal and with ranks.
Such disillusionment allowed Las Almas to suck she into its darkness, corrupting her and leading her to commit treason along with her squad. She no longer took orders, she gave them.
She soon became the most dangerous drug trafficker; she created an empire in a man's world thanks to her cunning and intelligence, again proving she was better than a man.
What very few knew was that she kept a small but important detail, one that she had sent away so that it would not be corrupted as she did, but, now it was sleeping in the continuous room for hours.
-It's the subway plans of the mansion, Valeria, how come Laurie has them? The narco stared at Miguel, a dark-skinned man who had been her squadmate, before answering.
-She probably got them when she wasn't being watched, the dates she kept them are old," she said, crossing her legs. -She had been collecting information all these years while she was being forced to experiment on these women.
-Most of the files are copies-Miguel scrolled down through the thousands of files on the laptop-most likely she was forced to delete the originals, and while she was doing that she created copies in invisible folders, smart girl. -he opened one of the files-look at this, -he handed the laptop to the woman- they are trying to create a new synthetic drug, that's why they were desperately searching her room. Miguel and two others had confronted another group while looking for the laptop.
-We have competitor information, reports and results of a possible new commodity and we have that son of a bitch. -Valeria folded his hands on the table, thinking about what his next move would be.
-You'll be able to negotiate and- He was interrupted by a growl from Valeria.
-Negotiate? This can only be paid for in blood.
-Valeria, I know Laurie is your wife, she's also my friend, but you can't start a war as if nothing happened.
-War? I'm not going to start a war, I'm just going to take what belongs to me. -I settled back in my seat. - The Frenchman reneged on the deal, Laurie being involved in this is a surprise, a surprise I'm going to take advantage of.
-He tried to reason with her.
-To start a war you need at least two sides, but,"
-If there are no two sides, there is no war. -Miguel snorted, interrupting Valeria-You're going to kill them before it happens.
Valeria smiled.
-Gather them all together and give them the map, and have them memorize it as soon as possible. I'll take care of the map of the mansion," she closed the laptop and took it in one hand as she stood up. -And what do we do with the Frenchman?
-Keep torturing him, but don't kill him.
Valeria left the room, she had other calls to make.
━━━━━━━━》❈《 ━━━━━━━ She grimaced as she saw the plate with broth in front of her, she had no appetite. And Valeria's fixed gaze on her didn't help either.
-I'm not hungry, it makes me nauseous just looking at it. -The Mexican woman sighed for the tenth time in the hour she had been arguing for her to eat.
-Eat, you have to-when Laurie wanted to protest, she continued-I had domperidone applied, so you're not going to throw up. Stop making excuses, Laurie.
The aforesaid was the one who sighed this time, took the spoon and stirred the contents with a slight trembling.
-It's strange, you know? -He looked her in the eyes before returning to the plate -you suddenly disappeared years ago, and now you're here as if nothing happened. Alejandro was silent every time I asked about you, night after night his silence left me more and more distressed.
-Things happened, I had to leave the army. -Valeria analyzed the contrarian's body behavior, although she knew it, she could have changed in the years they were separated, why wouldn't she? She herself had changed.
-Oh of course you're not in the army, the way you walked into that church made it very clear to me -she brought the spoon to her trembling mouth and grimaced at the taste before swallowing -that's not the protocol by which any authority is governed.
Laurie remembered the times Valeria had talked to her about how things worked in operations while she was studying or when she picked her up from medical school when she had time or was given days off. It had become a routine every time they saw each other, and what stuck with him the most was the protocols they had to follow; it was an involuntary thing, since Valeria only mentioned it when she complained that someone in the group made a mistake and they had to repeat the whole training from the beginning.
-Something tells me you're involved in, -continued Laurie, looking at the Mexican again- but I'm not going to ask, not yet. -She paused, feeling Valeria move closer to her.
Valeria hugged her, and since Laurie was sitting up, her head was right under her breasts which gave her the perfect position to give her little caresses on the crown of her head.
-I have a deal for you; give me the passwords to the files on the laptop, the plans of the mansion and in exchange I'll get those women out. -The Mexican knew that the plans were not at the town hall, they always put different or almost the same plans so as not to arouse suspicion, but they never left the originals. Laurie knew where it was going, so she thought for a few seconds before speaking.
-Jérémie's family -the caresses stopped, and she felt Valeria's body tense up.
-Don't say that damn name again," Valeria mumbled between her teeth.
-Her family…" she omitted the above, "You'll have to kill them, even the younger ones," the contrary could hear her even though her voice was muffled by being glued to her body. Doubt was in her voice, her conscience was telling her how repudiatory it would be if she gave him what the Mexican woman wanted.
Valeria of course noticed, but unlike Laurie, she had no remorse in killing someone, even if they were children. At the rate she was going she wouldn't get the information fast, and time was precious, so she changed her words to a sweeter one, a gentler, more manipulative one.
-It's to protect them, to protect you," he broke off and knelt down, put his hands on his wife's cheeks, looking her straight in the eyes, "If I leave someone alive they could come back and capture them," What if it was wrong to take advantage of Laurie's fear and possible trauma? Yes, but he would deal with the guilt later. -You don't want that, do you? -I just want to take care of you, Laurie.
The contrarian closed her eyes as they gave each other a chaste kiss, her mind addled. He sighed as her cheeks were caressed by his wife's thumbs. When she opened her eyes again, she placed her hands over Valeria's.
There was a certain darkness in the opposite gaze that told her loudly that this woman in front of her was not the same woman she had married, that she was more dangerous than before. But, she decided to keep that deep inside her, she preferred to ignore it.
-On two conditions.
Valeria smiled. She had made it, soon she would have a territory in the French market.

Chapter 1: The Meeting
Garrick Tavis
I stretched out my body as I started heading up to the outpost. I didn’t mind taking on Xaden’s shifts when he had to go visit Violet. Hell, I always offered because it gave me something to do when Xaden wasn’t around. I looked up at the clear night sky scattered with millions of stars as I started up the stairs. With each step the sky felt closer as if I could reach out and feel the tiny stars in my hands. Not that I would want to do that either. I would probably crush them all instantly. I tend to do that with beautiful things. Xaden also loved reminding me that and I enjoyed reminding him the same message back.
When I got to the top of the stairs, my shift mate was already there. It looked as if she was cleaning up the mess the last shift left behind. I could hear her tiny, gentle voice as she skillfully navigated around the room mumbling to herself.
“You would think that with all the filth around here, it was pigs who paired with dragons.”
I can feel Chradh, my brown scorpiontail who I’ve known for almost four years now, stirring in my mind. I’m insulted that she could think that dragons would even think about any other living creature being riders. We can barely stand humans.
I smile, mentally rolling my eyes at Chradh. Still playing hard to get? You don’t mean that.
I do. Although, it is humorous that she is comparing humans to pigs. The state of your room definitely reflects that.
The small figure turns from the desk towards the door where I’m standing and we lock eyes. Her brilliant blue eyes with gray flecks stare back at me and widen almost immediately as she drop the few pieces of trash on the floor.
“What the-” Her small, pale hands fly up clutching her chest as she staggers back.
“Sorry, if I startled you. I’m your shift mate for today.” I say back calmly, trying to make sure she doesn’t have a heart attack. “I’m Garrick.”
I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I need to extend my hands to shake, but she definitely doesn’t look like the handshake type. Her long raven black hair is in a high ponytail and compliments her icy pale skin. It always made me wonder how some riders manage to stay light after hours flying near the sun.
Considering that we were both standing up, she only came up to my shoulders. She had a smaller frame than your average female rider, but through the rider leather anyone could see that she was built with lean muscle that only helped to accentuate her hourglass figure.
“Gods, you scared me,” she started. Her soft voice gently filled up the small space we were in. “How does a guy like you manage to sneak around like that?”
“Is that a compliment?” I asked, taking a small step closer. I didn’t see her react or step back which gave me the assurance that she was just startled. I was always aware of my size and how people had to comment about it. This case was no exception.
Her shoulders dropped as she let out a soft exhale. “I thought Riorson was on duty.”
I immediately noticed how she said Xaden’s name in a normal tone in that sentence. Here, everyone has a little disgust when they have to say his name. Or should I say spit out his name. Most try to avoid it all together and just ignore his existence. They will never understand what he means to us.
“Sorry to disappoint. Riorson is on girlfriend duties. You’re stuck with me.” It only takes five big strides for me to go over to her and pick up the items from the floor.
“No, you don’t have to-” She started to say as her small hand reached for my forearm. Looking down, I saw how small and soft her hands looked against the contrast of my dark, muscular forearms. The only regular female interactions I had was with Imogen and it’s been a month. We determined that a break would be best anyways since rider's life is short and all. “I’ll take this, Tavis.”
Tavis? I didn’t remember giving her my last name.
Her hands strategically moved around the few pieces of paper in my hands and took them into hers. She walked past me to reach the waste basket by the door, her warm scent of vanilla and clean laundry wafting up to my nose. Damn, she smelled amazing.
Clean your room once a while and you could smell like that too, Big One. Chradh replied in my mind.
“I’m Lei Aukai. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Straightening her posture, she meets my eyes and smiles gently. The wooden log outpost looks like it’s big enough to be her room, but here I look like a dragon in my bedroom. Linking her hands behind her, she walks up to me. “I’ve heard about the new Basgiath graduate transfers. Welcome. I joined Samara last year.”
I nod. She definitely wasn’t the handshaking type, noted. “The pleasure is mine,” I replied. Her raven black hair tossed as she turned to the windows. My body straightened in response. That smell was intoxicating. I could smell her for hours… days even.
“I wish I could tell you we could take turns sleeping or something, but Samara is the cruelest outpost. It looks like we will both have to be awake for this one.” She paused, still keeping her eyes on the mountains on the horizon. “You bonded with a brown scorpiontail, is that correct?”
Chardh’s senses heightened and so did mine. She says she was hoping for Riorson, knows my last name, and Chradh’s traits. It was truly a shame she was so beautiful, but I knew I could have her on the floor and gasping for air instantly. “How do you know about Chradh?”
“Chradh.” My dragon’s name even sounded beautiful in her voice. That’s a compliment for you, Chradh. Chradh is not pleased.
I slowly reached for my sword strapped to my back and she turned around to face me at the same time, raising her hands to show there was nothing in them. “I’m not your enemy, Tavis.” Her round eyes glistened in the dimly lit outpost, but I could still make out her small, but perfectly shaped button nose and full lips. “I promise.”
I lowered my hand down and mentally noted the dagger strapped around my waist. I think my size alone would be able to crush her, but you know what they say. Never trust the quiet ones, or in this case small and quiet ones.
“I want to help you and Riorson. I know it’s not easy to get around here. It’s hard on all the newcomers, but especially harder on…” she paused looking at my rebellion markings. “I can help you navigate Samara. I don’t like bullies.” Her brows furrowed like she was reminded of something unpleasant.
“We.. I can take care of bullies.” I flexed my muscles and tensed my jaw. “Why do you want to help us?” I scan her exposed fair skin for any rebellion relics and I find none.
Like I said, I don’t like bullies. A group of guys are planning to attack you tonight on your way back to your quarters. Let me walk with you.”
I opened my mouth and nothing came out as my mind was trying to process what she was saying. What was this girl’s deal? She wants to escort me to my room? Has she seen me? “Wait, do you know what I look like?” I asked.
A smile appeared on her face. “Yes, Tavis. I’m staring at you right now.”
“Then, how could you say-” Before I could finish my sentence, she quickly reached for her dagger strapped to her thighs in one graceful move. She dashed towards me, moving past my body to jab at the back of my knees with her heel and easily brought me to my knees. As my legs gave out, I managed to reach for my dagger, but when I looked up… her dagger met my line of sight and I was only able to get to her… knees. Fuck. Xaden would be disappointed. But, depending on the angle of entry I was sure that I could make sure she won’t be able to walk on two feet anymore.
Lei looked down at me. “I see you Tavis and I just confirmed that I was faster.”
She was fast. I haven’t seen anything this fast like this since I’ve seen Violet train with Xaden. I think Lei might be... faster.
“I would never want to go one on one with you on the mats, but this is not school. People will do anything to get what they want. Even if it means it’s a cheap fight like the group of 7 guys who plan on doing that tonight. If you had Riorson, sure it could be easy, but not on your own.”
“Fine,” I agreed. “Now, I would like to keep my beautiful face, thank you.” Survival was most important for us. At Bagisth, Xaden and I were easily the best fighters, but that is definitely not the case here, considering it’s the worst outpost. I move my dagger first as a sign of trust and she does the same, taking a step back.
“So Lei,” I started getting up from the floor. “How would this situation have gone if it was Riorson and not me?”
“Hm, I don’t know.” She shrugged her clear blue eyes meeting mine. “I always knew it was going to be you, Tavis.”
✦ ✦ ✦
The shift went by fast as Lei and I chatted about Samara. She told me the kind of missions she went on and what I could expect being here. It was a good orientation. She also told me about her bonded dragon, Cosheirm. Cosheirm was also a brown dragon, but with a morningstartail. Morningstartails were highly sought out by other riders for having one of the deadliest weapons and I suspected maybe that’s why she didn’t like bullies? She wanted to know about Chradh and of course Chradh had an ego trip with that.
It was past midnight when Lei and I headed back for the barracks. Well, my barrack. I never had anyone walk me to my bedroom before so this was new. The night was quiet.
Lei’s scent was softer outside, more fresh and clean than the intoxicating vanilla. She walked beside me in silence, listening for any sounds. If I didn’t know what she told me earlier, I would have thought it was just another walk outside for her. Even though I met her today, she was so good at masking. Maybe it was related to her signet?
I straightened my posture when we got near the side clearing. If there was any attack, this field would be the best. It was secluded from the main building and under the moonlight, you got a direct view of your target.
“Wait, that’s not the Riorson boy,” a deep voice called out.
Lei and I stopped in our tracks. She looked up at me and eyed the woods to our right where seven figures emerged. None of them were my height, but no one was my height. A guy about a head shorter than me walked up to us and I noticed that Lei already had her dagger out. She really was fast.
“Oh shit, isn't that little Lei?” He said, amused.
I saw her stance change as she lowered her body a little like a predator before it jumped to kill the prey. “Move along, Pratt.” She spat out. Lei’s voice was blood-drippingly lethal. I didn’t even know she could sound like that.
“Lei, you have no business being here. Come back over here and stand behind me so we can take care of this dumb giant beside you.”
I laughed at the pitiful attempt at an insult. “The lady asked you to move along, in case you couldn’t hear it from down there.” I stepped ahead and Pratt’s groupie moved up as well. I quickly assessed the situation and saw a glint of a sword in their hands. The guys to the left of Pratt looked the most inexperienced, their stance still needed work. Unlike Lei who could easily wipe them out knowing how fast she moved.
“Lei, we didn’t keep you alive just so you could die here. Come here.”
“Fuck off, Pratt.”
They clearly had some history I had no business in knowing, but I wanted to know. Were these the bullies she had to deal with? How many did she deal with? Did she do it alone?
“Alright, let’s get this over with.” I said stretching my arms and legs. “You want Riorson right? You can’t have him unless you can get through me first.”
When her blue eyes met mine, I quickly signaled with my eyes to go for the guys to the left and she nodded in understanding. I pulled out only one sword. I only needed one from my back and charged ahead, slicing open one of their legs causing a guy to immediately fall to the floor. Two of them came at me next and I dodged their sword jabs and skillfully kicked one down with raw force while slashing through the side of the other. My job here was not to kill. It was better having them around for show so others knew exactly what it means to challenge Xaden and I. What it means to challenge me.
I looked for Pratt and saw his body pinning down Lei’s, next to the injured bodies of the three guys I asked Lei to go for first. I mentally smiled at her holding her own. But, that fucker. He knew exactly that he couldn’t handle me so he went for Lei, go figure. I strided over and with my right hand peeled his body off of her and flung him to the side.
A loud thud hit the floor with the sound of something breaking. I hope it was a leg or arm, but it sounded more like a rib or two. How disappointing. I reached out my hand and Lei quickly grabbed it as I pulled her up to her feet. My heart sank when I saw the cut across her cheekbone that fresh blood trickled down from. My gaze quickly scanned her over to look for any cuts, but didn’t see anything else. She was fierce. I liked fierce.
“Are you okay, Tavis?” She asked, glancing down at the bodies groaning on the floor.
“I’m fine, are you?” I pointed to the same area on my cheek where she was cut.
“It’s nothing. Pratt wears a family ring. It was probably from that.” She ripped the edge of her sleeve and placed it on her cheek. She was resourceful. I liked resourceful.
I looked down at Pratt who was holding his stomach like air was knocked out of him. Well, air was knocked out of him. After hearing that his hand touched her face made me want to crush him under my feet. I was considering it when I heard Lei’s voice behind me.
“Come on, Tavis. Let’s go before someone notices.”
I had some herbs and medicine for her cut so I insisted she walk the rest of the way to my room. Her clean vanilla scent filled my room as she sat on my chair and I brought over the medicine. Looking at the small mirror in the aid kit, she quickly fixed up her cut and thanked me. “I can get the herbs I used and bring it back to you,” she said, getting up and heading for the door.
I thought about telling her she could just take all of it back with her if she wanted since this was the first time I used it, but I wasn’t against the thought of her visiting again. “Sure.”
“Let me walk you back,” I started to say leaning on the door frame and she shook her head. “Come on, you’re hurt and it’s late.”
She looked around the hallway to see if anyone was around and leaned to me. Her scent filled my lungs and I found myself learning closer. I couldn’t read her face, but it looked like she was hesitating to tell me. Wondering if she could trust me.
“You can tell me,” I whispered.
She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, it was like I was staring at a clear blue lake. It was breathtaking.
“What if I told you I could get back to my room before you could finish blinking.”
I tilted my head in confusion. “What do you-” Then the flashback of how fast she moved earlier back at the outpost. How, despite my hours of training with Xaden, one the most powerful fighters, I couldn't stop her. I could only reach her knees. “Teleportation,” I breathed. Her signet was teleportation.
“Yes,” she whispered back, smiling. “I can tell you more about it if you want to know.”
“I do.” I replied.
“We will talk again, Tavis.”
“Wait,” I quickly reached for her wrists, thinking that she was going to disappear. When her gaze dropped down to my hands, I let go just as fast. “Sorry, I didn’t know if you were going to disappear.”
She smiled that gentle smile again, moving her hands to her sides. “It’s okay.”
“Call me Garrick. My friends call me Garrick, and thank you for tonight.” What else do people say after thank you? I couldn’t think straight through her scent, her smile. “I owe you one.”
“Friends…” her voice trailed off. “I’ll remember that, Garrick.” I didn't know my name could sound like that. Ever.
And just like that after a blink, Lei was gone. Leaving me with nothing but her scent.
I was wondering when you would start taking interest in other humans again. And your rebellion leader doesn’t count. Chradh noted.
I’m not interested. I reply back to Chradh. And shouldn’t you be sleeping, Chradh?
You try sleeping through that loud thumping, Big One.
✦ ✦ ✦
The morning came around and I found Xaden standing in his usual spot at the morning assembly.
“You have something on your face,” Xaden said when I stood next to him.
“What? Where?” I ran my hands over my face. I didn’t see anything when I came out of the shower 10 minutes ago. Also, my room may not be clean, but I washed myself often and very thoroughly. “I don’t think-”
Xaden turns to me and I swear I saw a smile flash across his face. “Since when did you roll up to morning assembly with a smile on your face?”
From the corner of my eyes I saw her shiny raven ponytail. I must have been looking longer than I thought I had because her head turned and her clear blue eyes from the night that actually had some sage green in the sun were staring back at me. Lei gave a slight head nod greeting and a smile before turning back to the podium.
“Good luck,” Xaden’s voice tugs me back to reality. “But, damn I sure hope I wasn’t as obvious as you.” He finished looking up at the podium as well.
I scoffed. “I thought about going easy on you today since I thought Violet would be giving you a hard time, but watch out on the sparring mat.” I paused, remembering how it was last year when he met Violet. “Oh trust me, you were worse.”
“Looking at you, there is no way.” Xaden replied confidently.
After a short pause, I cleared my throat and swallowed my pride. “By the way, can you send me all your outpost patrol duties?”
Xaden laughed.
“Fuck you, Xaden.”

A/N: Hey babes! I just want to say thank you all for the support. This is my first ever fanfiction & using Tumblr so thanks for the patience and positivity. I’ve read a lot of fanfics to the point I was running out. (I’m a picky bitch) I got to the point where I had an itch that wasn’t being scratched. I needed something so angsty and tension ridden that I decided to create my own story. I hope you guys enjoy this story because I have no plan of ending it anytime soon. Within the next month or so I plan on uploading this fic on Wattpad & ao3 as well. I understand it might be difficult to read on here, bare with me. I’m not tech savvy unfortunately. (2-24-24)

The infirmary was a place where the scent of antiseptic hung heavier than Hange's lab. I don't know which one I'd rather be at. Hange would just talk my ear off, a lot better than being poked and prodded at. Who knows with Hange though, I could end up as their test subject at any moment. I guess the doctor is a safer option, one that I can hold accountable.
The doctor, with all the charm of a brick wall, attempted to order me around as she waltzed around the room. I didn't want to listen to her, there was no reason for me to be here anyway.
"Sit down, Iris," she demanded.
"I'm fine. I just need new wraps, that's all. I can handle the rest myself," I countered, my bravado masking the twinge of pain radiating from my battered body.
The doctor sighed, her expression a mix of 'Not again' and 'Why me.' She was over my shit and I was over hers as well. I avoid her just as much as she avoids me.
The door swung open without the courtesy of a knock, and in walked Levi, the epitome of perpetual grumpiness.
"When will you learn to knock?" I threw at him, but Mr. Manners over here didn't seem to care.
"Brat," he grumbled, his eyes quickly scanning the room. "Why am I here?"
"She won't sit," the doctor lamented like she was dealing with a toddler who refuses to eat their veggies.
Did she really call the Captain on me?
If Levi hadn't walked in maybe she would have accepted her fate and dealt with the defeat. Levi's eyes laser-focused on me, or maybe it was just his usual stare.
"Your ribs," he stated, a command more than a question. "Sit down."
In reluctant submission, I perched on the uncomfortable examination table, a sigh escaping my lips. The doctor prodded and pressed on every inch of my battered body. I winced, particularly as their fingers found the tender spots on my lower ribs, the pain shooting through me like a lightning bolt.
"I'm fine," I groaned through the discomfort, attempting to downplay the obvious.
"No, you're not," the doctor retorted, unyielding in her assessment. I shot her a scowl as she continued to deliver the unwelcome prognosis.
"Your ribs never healed properly. Maybe if you did as you were told we wouldn't be here. Rest for two weeks, and then we'll have another follow-up."
"Thrilling," I deadpanned, envisioning the excitement of two weeks staring at the ceiling. Levi's glower intensified, probably sensing the impending chaos of my forced downtime.
"She is not to engage in any training or expeditions until she is cleared, Captain," she declared, her stern gaze landing squarely on me.
Levi, arms crossed in that brooding way of his, shot a glare that could make even a Titan think twice.
"Oh, trust me. She won't be."
"I'll be fine. Stop overreacting," I mumbled, dismissing their concern with a wave of my hand. Death and I were like old pals—flirty but never too serious.
"No. You are not fine," the doctor asserted, her exasperation palpable. "You just love flirting with death, don't you?"
"Yeah, just a bit," I grinned, hopping off the examination table as if I hadn't just narrowly escaped becoming Titan chow.
"You're not done," the doctor stated firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument.
"Oh, I can just wrap it myself," I offered, trying to sidestep more medical attention.
"Wrong. You'll come to my office every day to get it wrapped,"
"That's okay. I got it," I insisted, attempting to regain control over my destiny.
"It's not an option. You have nothing else to do anyway," Levi chimed in, his annoyance practically a tangible force.
"Paperwork," I informed Levi, I can only envision the burdensome stacks scattered across his desk. "You have mounds of it."
"You can get that done after," he dismissed, a casual wave of his hand.
"Fine, whatever. Just wrap me already," I groaned, reluctantly surrendering to the inevitable visit to the infirmary.
And just like that, my grand plans for rebellion were crushed under the heel of duty and responsibility. No expeditions, no training, just the thrilling routine of daily bandaging sessions. Not even paperwork could get me out of this situation. The glamour of soldier life, they said.
Levi, ever the epitome of brevity, left the doctor's office, leaving me alone with her—a situation I deeply dreaded.
"So," she began, a faux pleasantness tainting her voice. I, on the other hand, contemplated escaping through the window.
"How've you been?"
"Great," I replied, my tone implying anything but.
She rolled her eyes, her hands deftly wrapping my protesting ribs. "Uh-huh," she continued, winding the bandages tighter.
"And sleep? How's that going for you?"
"Amazing. The full eight hours and occasional naps every day," I retorted, my sarcasm dripping like honey.
"Oh really?" she pressed on, unfazed.
"Oh yeah, best sleep I've had in years," I replied with a grin that didn't quite reach my eyes.
"Your eyes say otherwise," she observed, a touch too perceptive for comfort.
I opted for silence as she finished wrapping my ribs, hopping off the bed with an air of finality.
"Anything else, doc?"
"You need to rest," she insisted, stating the impossible.
"You know I can't do that," I shot back, walking out the door before she could further encroach on my stubborn resolve.

Same old slop bean soup, the Scouts' daily culinary masterpiece – or disaster, depending on how you view things. Trash for us while the other military branches dined like royalty.
With an air of resigned acceptance, I served the lackluster fare into a container, the same repetitive soup that graced our tables day in and day out. Lars, the scouts' chef and bearer of both good and bad news, shattered any hope of something different.
"No bacon today, miss," he declared.
"Shocker," I mutter, unenthusiastically piling the obligatory veggies and bread into a basket.
"This is for the Captain," he grins pulling out a tin canister at his side from his apron.
"I'll make sure he knows. Might even crack a rare smile from humanity's stoic wall." I said taking the canister and quickly putting it in the basket before anyone else sees.
Lars beamed with pride. Everyone admired Captain Levi, and winning his favor in the food department was an achievement, especially for me. Often they would add small bags of sugar in my basket for the Captain or sometimes sweets from the ladies.
It worked in my favor most of the time. Captain didn't want the luxurious treats from his admirers but he did want all the sugar. It was a compromise I was content with. While the girls in the regiment splurged their savings on the Captain thinking it would work in their favor, I snacked on each item.
"To the office?" Eld inquired, strategically positioning himself to block my path.
I can never have a moment to myself.
"Yeah, the thrilling world of paperwork awaits," I replied, attempting to sidestep his social invitation. The mundane mess hall was the last place I wanted to linger.
"Stay, have dinner with us for once," he urged his hand landing on my arm in a well-intentioned but entirely unwelcome gesture.
"Let go,"
Eld complied, but the echoes of his touch lingered, reigniting a familiar anger as I left the mess hall, basket in hand, and a taste of frustration.
Eld doesn't know the details but knows enough to understand I don't like being touched. He's been around enough to know, he's seen enough to know. They all have.
I pushed open Levi's office door, an uninvited guest with a basket full of shit as an excuse for dinner. The room was suffused with the flickering glow of lanterns, and the warmth from the fireplace competed with Levi's ever-present scowl.
As expected, the man himself, sipping tea and drowning in a sea of paperwork, shot me a scowl as I strolled in unannounced.
"It's polite to knock," he scolded, his eyes narrowing.
"Pot calling the kettle black. When was the last time you knocked before barging in?"
Politeness and Levi were distant relatives, especially when it came to door-knocking etiquette. I couldn't help but wonder how many innocent souls fell victim to his uncanny ability to barge in unannounced, even in the men's restroom.
Ignoring his irritated huff, I set the basket on his side table and began unpacking our lovely dinner. Bread, potatoes, carrots, and the perpetually present bean soup – the Scouts' culinary masterpiece. The meat was a luxury reserved for those suicidal expeditions defending humanity.
"I brought you dinner," I declared, crafting a plate for him even though he would insist he was not hungry. The man needed sustenance beyond tea and stress, and someone had to remind him.
"I'm not hungry."
Shocker.
"Shut it. You're going to eat it or I'm going to shove it down your throat," I threatened, depositing the plate on his desk with a decisive thud.
His steel eyes, momentarily diverted from the paperwork, met mine. Levi's face remained an emotionless canvas, an unreadable mask only occasionally betraying a hint of anger. He took a begrudging bite of the bread, showcasing his usual efficiency in devouring it.
What a brat.
"Happy?" he deadpanned, pushing the plate away after a few bites.
"You burn more calories than you take in, Captain. Ever thought about a balanced diet? Y'know one that's not tea and stress?" I smirked at him.
"You are my stress." He said rubbing his temples.
"Oh really?" I challenged him, leaning on his desk. "Last time I checked, I'm the reason you've survived this long."
Levi's eyebrow quirked, his arms crossed, and he leaned in, eyeing me with that infuriatingly unreadable expression.
"Let's not forget I'm the reason you haven't bled out and died yet."
"Well, I'm the reason you have all these fancy teas," I snubbed him. "We both know without me by your side, your likability would be rock bottom."
"We both know I don't give a shit about status," he growled.
"You should," Hange's voice chimed in from the doorway.
I felt my body jolt back as Levi did the same, a rare moment of synchronized surprise.
"Oh, sorry," Hange giggled. "Do you think we interrupted something, Moblit?"
"What do you want, Hange?" Levi groaned, snapping us all back to reality.
They barged into Levi's office like they owned the place, plopping down on his couch with all the grace of a nosy neighbor. Moblit loyally stood by, an unwilling participant in Hange's grand entrance.
"Wow!" Hange gasped dramatically. "Can't I visit my very best friends I haven't seen in a while?"
Levi pinched the bridge of his nose.
"You just saw us four hours ago."
"Oh, so you guys can hang out together, but I can't join?" Hange played the victim, poking at invisible wounds.
"We aren't hanging out," Levi and I shouted in unison, our frustration evident.
My ears burned but my cheeks grew hotter at the accusation.
"Really? Then what was all that I saw a moment ago?" Hange prodded, determined to stir the pot.
"Me trying to get this mutt to eat," I groaned, gesturing towards Levi, who shot me a glare that could freeze hell over.
Levi's head snapped toward me, a warning in his eyes. "Watch it, brat," he growled.
I rolled my eyes, choosing to ignore his threat, my attention fixed on Hange. They leisurely got up, stretching their entire body with an exaggerated yawn.
"Well, I guess I'll get going. Be expecting me soon, though! We have some big things to go over," they declared, strolling out the door. Their head peeked back in, a mischievous smirk playing on their lips. "Bye, you two."
"Come on, Moblit. We have planning to do," Hange's voice echoed down the hallway, lingering even after the door closed, leaving Levi and me alone once again.
I flopped onto the couch, covering my eyes with my arms to block out the light.
"What was that about me being stressful again?" I teased Levi.
"Shut it," he groaned. "Be quiet or get out. I have work to do."

Gasping for air, I struggled to move, my limbs heavy as if the weight of the world pressed down on me. My feeble attempts to stay conscious were futile.
Coughs wracked my body relentlessly, and the metallic taste of blood coated my mouth, staining my clothes in macabre patterns.
The world spun around me, a disorienting blur that refused to make sense. Panic set in as I tried to grasp the reality of the situation. What was happening to me?
His fist collided with another's face, each blow accompanied by a sickening crunch. His eyes, devoid of any trace of remorse, blazed with an intensity that sent shivers down my spine.
Crimson droplets dripped from his knuckles, creating a grotesque mosaic on the ground. He was forcefully pulled away, his breaths resonating like those of a rabid beast.
His eyes admired the bloodshed.

"Iris!" I felt a hand urgently shaking my arm and another gripping my shoulder.
My eyes snapped open, and my hands instinctively shot toward the perceived threat, aiming for the throat of the intruder. Before I could tighten my grip, my arms were captured, restrained by a force I couldn't overpower.
"Wake up," a voice commanded its tone firm yet oddly soothing, accompanied by a hand gently resting on my head.
Levi.
Though my eyes were open, I struggled to transition. Levi's presence began to anchor me to reality.
"Breath," he instructed, locking eyes with me while still holding my wrists in a firm, grounding grip.
We found ourselves on the floor of his office, the crackling fire providing a grip on reality. My back leaned against the couch, and the warmth from the flames seemed distant.
"It hurts," I mumbled, my voice a fragile whisper.
"What hurts?" Levi questioned, his concern evident.
"It hurts to breathe," I replied more audibly, a hint of irritation seeping into my voice.
"Lay down on the couch," he ordered, his grip easing on my wrists.
"I can't. I need to get back to Alexander," I insisted, urgency tainting my words.
"Please, let go. It hurts."
His face appeared paler than usual, a stark contrast against the flickering firelight. Levi's words reached me, but their meaning blurred in my disoriented state.
"You're not awake," he asserted, rising and placing a cup in my hands, ensuring I had a firm grip to prevent any accidental spills. The cold tea trickled down my lips as I stared at the dancing flames behind him. He knelt beside me, still his rough callous hands covering my small puny finger as he held the cup.
"Alexander is in custody," he informed me, a somber note underlying his words.
"Drink," he commanded, lifting the cup to my lips.
As I sipped the tea, I noticed how close and docile he was with me. The heat of his body seeped through his clothes and into mine. The smell of mint and black tea radiated off of him, wafting my way with every move he made.
"What happened?" my voice a hushed murmur.
"You had another night of terror," he responded, his gaze shifting away.
"I realize that," I groaned, embarrassment flooding me. "What happened while I was out?"
"You were screaming," he admitted, his eyes avoiding mine.
"How long?" I pressed.
"At least ten minutes," he sighed. "I couldn't wake you."
Defeat settled over me as I absorbed the impact of my nightmares still haunting me after all these years.
"You're still dreaming about it?" Levi asked softly, his concern evident.
I met his gaze, and concern clouded his eyes, but I ignored it, choosing silence over confirmation. Four years had passed, yet the ghosts of the past lingered.  I was still a prisoner to my dreams.
"No," I deflected, pushing myself off the ground and heading toward the door.
"Thanks for the tea, but I should probably get going. It's late. I didn't mean to fall asleep here. I'm sorry."
Without awaiting his response, I walked out the door, leaving the haunting shadows of the night terror behind.
Will I ever forget the devilish gaze in Levi's eyes that night?

"Is this thing on?" Eli asked as he pushed some buttons on the camera. He realized that he was recording until he turned to see the screen next to him. "Oh yes it is."
Behind him were Norm, Max and Jake in their respective seats doing whatever on their computers. Jake, like him, was practicing on his first record.
"My name is Eli Thompson. After being asleep for 5 years and 9 months I am finally on the planet Pandora." The soldier started making a face trying to think of what he has to say. "My purpose is to take my brother's place and lead an avatar body that looks like one of the natives here... or something." He scratched his head in some confusion. "Aaaaaand… I think that’s it." He turned to see Norm and Max who were behind him. "Hey Norm. Is that all I have to say?"
The scientist turned when he heard his name. "Yeah, we just have to make sure we document everything we see and feel." Said the man.
Max poked his head from behind Norm's shoulder. "It's what will keep you sane for the next 6 years." He joked.
Eli gave him a small smile, shaking his head and turned to the camera. "Okay. Eli out."
He reached out and turned off the camera.
End of stream.

"Grace Agustin is a legend," Norm said with great admiration evident in his tone of voice. So much so that Eli couldn't help but roll his eyes at him. He had already heard many things about that woman and not many of them were good. "She's the head of the avatar program. She wrote a the book. I` mean, she literally wrote the book on Pandoran botany"
"Well, that's 'cause she likes plants better than people." Max said, backing up Norm's idea about the female scientist.
Jake looked at Eli and raised his eyebrows in a gesture that said "Won't they really shut up?" bringing a smile to his friend.
"Here she is, Cinderella back from the ball." Upon hearing the aforementioned, both soldiers turned to face the front, finally arriving in the presence of a woman with an aura that gave off arrogance.
'This will be good' Eli thought as he saw the doctor.
"Grace, I'd like you to meet Norm Spellman, Eli Thompson, and Jake Sully."
With very little interest in the newly arrived, except for one of them, the doctor turned around, removed her glasses and pulled her cigarette from between her lips, showing that he had her undivided attention.
"Norm, I hear good things about you. How is your na'vi?" she asked in a surprisingly soft tone.
Norm, clearly nervous, raised a hand in the form of support to search for the words he wanted to say. He was in front of his idol. "May everyone's mother… smile upon our first meeting."
Eli brought a hand to his forehead to massage between his brows. The idea of having to use that new language that his brother tried to stick on his head like a mantra wasn't very appealing. He could understand most of the words, so it wasn't hard to form an idea of what they were saying, but speaking it on his own was out of the question.
And it was worse when he saw how pleased the doctor was at having received the words of greeting.
"Not bad. You speak a bit formal."
Norm let out a nervous giggle, but went on with his talk with more confidence. "I studied five years, but there is much to learn."
"Um, Grace? This is Eli Thompson and Jake Sully." The smile on the woman's face disappeared as Max tried to redirect her attention to the soldiers.
"Ma'am." Jake reached out his hand to shake the doctor's. He was trying to remain respectful despite the scientist's clear distaste for having soldiers within 1km of her work area. Eli, on the other hand, stood idly behind Jake.
"Yeah yeah, I know who you are and I don't need you. I need your brothers" the cold words of the woman put a metaphorical wall between the soldiers and the scientist, causing the calm attitude of the soldiers to instantly change to a more hostile one with just an exchange of glances. "You know?" She asked Max, answering before he could. "The PhD who trained for three years for this mission?"
"They're dead. I know it's a big inconvinience for everyone" Jake's tone of voice was evidence enough that they were now on thin ice.
The woman, for a tiny moment, thought about giving them a chance. But her way of giving them that opportunity was nothing short of dismissive. "How much lab training have you had?" She ask abruptly.
"I dissected a frog once." Jake answered with complete confidence.
Eli snorted at the memory of the chaos of that day in class. "I blew mine up." The soldier laughed.
Grace gasped in shock and outrage. Intend to give them a try. "You see?..." she spat at poor Max. "You see? I mean, they're just pissing on us without even the courtesy of calling it rain. I''ll talk 'm going to Selfrigd." The woman turned around with every intention of hitting someone, genuinely panicking poor Max.
"No, Grace. I don't think that's a good idea."
"NO, MAN, THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT!" She complained without stopping to pay attention to them. "I'm gonna kick his corporate butt."
Max stopped in his attempts to talk sense into her. Instead, he turned to the soldiers to give them one last piece of news before continuing with the job. The tour was over. "Here tomorrow, 0800... Try and use big words."
Eli and Jake raised their eyebrows in surprise and somewhat amused to see the scientist leave with the last word from him. They were both sure they wouldn't listen to him. They didn't plan on getting along with the woman, but they would try to make an effort not to make enemies with people they will see for 6 years in a row.

Story finding help!
Hey guys! I was wondering if you could help me find this book:
I don't know the title (though if I did then I probably wouldn't be on here asking for help).
The story is about BTS being hybrids: I just remember Hobi and Jimin being snakes, Suga being a black panther, and Namjoon being a wolf, and that's all I remember for which member is what type of hybrid. I know that all the members are apex predators (I think Tae might be a tiger).
Anyways, the female OC is rich, she buys all of them at an auction (she saves them), she buys one or two of them and they tell her to buy the remaining members. They had past owners who would hurt them and control them, but she didn't do that to them. She brings them home: her house has high-tech lasers to see if there is an intruder or something. One day, the guys have to shift or something and her security guards freak out a bit bc she gets scratched by one of them. This is where we see them in all of their huge predator forms and where they bite her to claim her or something...?
I don't remember if I read it on Wattpad or on ao3 so it may be on one of those. Please let me know if you have any questions and if you find it! Thank you!!!

THE BLOOD CROWN
[Aemond Fanfiction ] reposted on wattpad
Pairing:  Aemond Targaryen x OC female!
Warning:  Dark Romance / Enemies to Lovers.
Summary
"𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹."
Queen Alicent had spoken the truth when these words had left her mouth, the moment the King decided not to punish Princess Rhaenyra's son for taking the eye of her child. In the night, in the safe place of her chambers, she gave the order to have Lucery's Velaryon taken and sold into slavery. But a regrettable misunderstanding causes Larys Strong's men to take, not the culprit, but Aemma Velaryon, Rhaenyra's youngest child, and banish her to a life of suffering and loneliness.
Aemma Velaryon had not been seen since then but the gods do not forget and sometimes fate strikes back harder than you would have expected.
PART 4
Rose watched Prince Aemond take on Ser Criston Cole in a training match.
From the rooms of Helaena Targaryen they had a perfect view of the training ground.
She watched Aemond move smoothly and evade the blows of Ser Cole effortlessly.
His hard training had paid off.
"I think if you brush my hair any longer, Rose, I'll soon have none", said Helaena monotonously and the maid looked down in fright. The Queen stared at her through her mirror, knowledge reflected in it.
"Forgive me, my Queen. I was distracted for a moment", she apologized and put the comb back on the table. Helaena also looked out the window.
"He's still training every day."
I know, was on her lips.
Apparently, the Queen had noticed that Rose had been watching her brother.
She had often watched Aemond secretly in the last days, well, at least she tried, and she wondered if he had even thought of her a fraction of the time she had wasted on him. Probably only when he had imagined his blade piercing her chest.
She didn't know why Aemond Targaryen had such an attraction to her. He had shown her nothing but hostility since the moment she arrived.
Rose glanced at the prince again. His movements were fast and smooth, like a dance that he mastered perfectly. His long light blonde hair swirled around while the sweat glistened on his skin.
Suddenly the door swayed open and Rose was ripped out of her mind.
She twitched and turned round in surprise.
Shock flooded her body. Her eyes widened, stunned at the sight in front of her.
Helaena didn't even bother to turn around.
King Aegon stood in the middle of the room, naked, just like the gods made him. He seemed surprised for a brief moment when he saw Rose before a grin appeared on his lips.
"Excuse me, my wife, I thought we were alone", he apologized, but the apology didn't really sound serious. A hint of amusement resonated in his voice. Rose lowered her gaze. The gods seemed to be joking today.
"We aren't alone", said Helaena monotonously, and if it hadn't been so unpleasant, Rose would have almost laughed. Almost.
Aegon seemed annoyed.
"I know. I see it. Have you seen Dyana?" Aegon asked, looking around Helaena's chambers as if Dyana were suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
"No", the Queen answered.
"Well, where is she?"
"Not here."
Rose really didn't know whether to cry or laugh. This unpleasant embarrassment was hard to bear.
And Aegon was still naked.
Couldn't he at least cover up his manhood?
"I need her. The new maid is incapable. I don't like the clothes the new one picks out for me," said Aegon annoyed, glancing over Rose.
"This is unfortunate."
The only unfortunate thing was that Rose couldn't vanish into air.
"Your maid can help me!", suggested Aegon.
"That's not possible, Mother says she should only help me," Helaena answered dryly.
"Well, and I am the king," Aegon said it as if he had to remind himself that he was the most powerful man in the Seven Kingdoms. "I want her to help me."
Rose had to admit she wasn't thrilled. But who was she to say no?
Helaena looked at Aegon for a moment, before she shrugged and turned around. Obviously, that was a sign that she was supposed to help Aegon. Rose bowed and walked past the Kings to his chambers.
"And how do you like it here, dear Rose?", he said sweetly after they left Helenas chambers and entered his.
"I am very grateful to be here, my king."
"Well, well, and we are very grateful to have you here."
He winked at her. It was uncomfortable considering he was naked and his wife was just a room away waiting for her.
She didn't go any further and opened the closet in which Aegon's clothes were.
"What color would you like to wear today?"
"Look at me", the King ordered, and she had no choice but to obey his order.
"What color would you like to see on me?"
"Doesn't matter, as long as it covers your skin, my king."
Before Rose could stop herself, the words had left her mouth. For a moment she had forgotten herself and spoken as she was only allowed to speak in Daeron's presence.
She really had a problem keeping her mouth shut.
She looked anxious, and in shock at the king, who looked at her in surprise.
Before she knew it, she was on her knees, head bowed in humility, hoping the king didn't want her head. She was already expecting him to discipline her when Aegon suddenly started laughing.
"What a cheeky thing you are", he said and approached her. Panic rose in her, which she tried to suppress.
"Is that how you talk to my brother Daeron?" Aegon asked and Rose shook her head. It probably wasn't a very good idea to confess that she didn't treat Daeron with the respect a prince deserved. Even if it was his own wish.
"Please forgive me, my king. It will not happen again."
"Hmm, is that so? You're lucky I like girls like you. Girls who stand up to me. There's nothing worse than maids who bore you with their submission."
Rose got sick. The king's words disgusted her, but she was at his mercy. She had nothing to oppose him. She had already been warned about the King several times.
"My king?"
They both looked aside, she frightened, he annoyed.
A maid stood in the door with her eyes wide open. What a sight they had to give. He's standing naked in front of her, she kneeling.
"What?" Aegon asked annoyed.
"The Queen Mother has sent me to ask for your presence."
"Tell her she has to wait."
"I am sorry, my King, but she said it is urgent."
"What could be so urgent that it couldn't wait?"
"She said it is about Lord Corlys, my King."
Aegon turned his head.
"What? Is that old man finally dead?"
"No, my king. He was seen at Dragonstone."
Aegon raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Well, that's actually a very interesting coincidence."
He let his eyes glide over Rose again before smiling. The smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Then we don't want to keep my Mother waiting. You can go, Rose."
With these words, he released Rose and she couldn't escape from his chambers quickly enough.
It had been an unbelievably awkward situation and she hoped she would never have to be alone with the King again.
She closed the door and turned around just to run into a wall.
She looked up, frightened, into the eye of Aemond Targaryen.
Blood froze in her veins.
After their last encounter, Rose hadn't seen him for days. Well, she had seen him, watched him more secretly, but prevented him from seeing her, too. Their last meeting was still in her head, never leaving, never let her forget how dangerous that man was.
Aemond looked down at her unimpressed, his gaze fixed on her for a moment before it wandered to the closed door of Aegon's chambers.
He raised an eyebrow. His forehead was worn with sweat, his clothes dirty from the swirled up dust.
"I helped the King get dressed", she explained.
"Hmm?" he said, and she knew he didn't believe her. "Most of the ladies who came out of these chambers helped to undress him."
Rose knew what he was suggesting.
Aegon was the King but what he implied could ruin her forever if it hit the ears of the wrong people.
"You dishonor me with your words, my prince." It was dangerous to speak these words but it was an injustice that Rose could not and would not accept. "I have done nothing but obey orders."
"Such a good servant you are, right? And when my brother tells you to bend over, do you obey too?"
Goose bumps ran over her body and shame went trough her body. Although she would never do it, she was ashamed by the prince words.
"Don't think I care what you do, maid. I was just surprised how quickly the mask fell. But don't get your hopes up too high. Aegon attaches no importance to your unfortunate alliance."
With these words Aemond said goodbye, leaving Rose with a feeling of shame and disgrace.
She looked after him, and wondered if he was like this to every maid, or if he only hated her.
Rose saw Vhagar land on the mountain next to the Red Keep. She saw its huge wings and imposing mouth that could swallow hundreds of men with just one bite.
Vhagar landed heavily, a tremor shook the ground and there was a moment of silence.
She watched as Aemond Targaryen dragged a boy into the castle and handed him over to the guards.
The prince had been gone for two days. Tongues spoke of war, some of alliances and oaths.
"Let go of me," the strange boy yelled. "Set me free!"
Aemond answered in High Valyrian. At least she suspected so. His words sounded hard and powerful. Rose didn't understand Valyrian but it did sound familiar. Weird, because she had never heard that language before.
Aemond rammed the hilt of his blade into the boy's head, knocking him unconscious.
Rose was shocked by the brutality. He had not hesitated for a second to strike down the defenseless boy, who was inferior not only in size but also in muscle strength.
She saw the horror in Alicent Hightower's eyes and the amazement in Aegon's.
In Helaena's gaze there was nothing but pity.
"What have you done?"
"I have won us a hostage, mother. A strong boy." Aemond said. The corners of his mouth curled up, his expression content. "You can thank me later."
They brought the boy before the Iron Throne.
Rose stood near Queen Helaena, alongside Dyana and other servants.
Dyana had told her who the boy was.
Lucery's Velaryon. The son of the Black Queen, as she was already known in the people. Rumors of her coronation on Dragonstone had already made the rounds.
Allies of the Greens had gathered, all to watch Princess Rhaenyra's son bow the knee to Aegon Targaryen.
"Nephew," Aegon began as they threw water in Lucerys Velaryon's face to wake him up. The boy opened his eyes, slowly and confused, before his hopeless situation caught up with him again, and horror was seen on his face.
"You are a long way from Dragonstone, aren't you?" His eyes danced with the joy of his misfortune. "We were sad to miss you at my coronation. Perhaps that is why you have not yet bent the knee?"
Prince Lucerys remained silent.
"Bend the knee before your king," Aegon urged.
"I have to disappoint you," Lucerys began. "I don't see a king before me." The boy seemed suicidal. The court erupts in whispers. "You sit unlawfully on the Iron Throne. All I see is a traitor sitting on my mother's throne."
"The late king, may he rest in peace, made Aegon his heir before he died," Alicent interjected, announcing what only she is said to have heard. The people around her murmured in agreement. "It was King Visery's last wish."
"And were there witnesses to this statement?"
"You question my mother's word, bastard?" Aemond said angry, stepping forward.
She saw the fear in the boy's eyes as the prince stepped towards him, menacing and ready to fight. Rose understood his fear. She herself had felt what it was like to be threatened by Aemond Targaryen. But unlike him, she wasn't surrounded by enemies who wanted to see her head roll.
Aemond growled and grabbed Lucerys, sinking his hand into his hair and jerking his head back. Rose's mouth twisted. That had to hurt. But before Aemond could do anything more, Alicent was standing next to him, one hand on his shoulder and a shake of her head. Aemond studied his mother's face for a moment before he released Lucerys.
Lucerys gave him a hateful look, a look Aemond returned.
"If you refuse to bend the knee, Prince Lucerys, then this court cannot guarantee your integrity. Refusal is treason against the Crown."
Despite the fear reflected on his face, Rose saw combativeness in the boy's eyes. She was impressed by his fighting spirit. And at the same time she felt sorry for him.
He was alone. She knew that feeling.
"Then so be it. Kill me and let fire speak."
"The king is merciful, Prince Lucerys," Alicent explained. She had stepped close to the boy, Aemond right behind her, as if Lucerys was about to leap at her like a wild animal. "We don't want blood to be spilled. We don't want to see anyone dead. Swear allegiance to King Aegon Targaryen and your life will be spared." She took his hand in hers. "I beg you, boy."
Alicent sounded desperate.
Lucery's eyes flickered, dancing from left to right, but instead answering the Queen Mother, he jerked his hand from hers and looked away, lips pressed into a thin line.
His answer is understandable for everyone.
"Bring the news of her son's capture to Princess Rhaenyra. Prince Lucerys, you are now a prisoner of the crown," the hand declared. "You will be locked in your rooms until your mother comes to her senses and bends the knee."
Otto Hightower signaled the guards that the hearing was over. They grabbed the Velaryon boy and led him out of the hall.
Rose looked at Aegon, who hadn't spoken much. He had a tired look, and followed Lucerys with his eyes. He seemed out of place despite being the one sitting on the Iron Throne.
And for the first time Rose was here, she had the feeling that Aegon Targaryen didn't want to sit on the throne.
No one was allowed to enter the room of Lucerys Velaryon. The Greens had ordered that the boy would be locked up and barred from any contact with others until he came to his senses and bent the knee to Aegon.
Rose knew the tense situation, and yet she felt sorry for the boy. She had seen the fear in his eyes, the desperation, the concern for what might happen to him.
"What should we do with the Velaryon boy?" Lord Lannister asked. The man sat back in his chair, arrogant, almost condescending. All parties were silent, which is why he continued. "I say, he should be made an example of," he continued. "A public execution. The boy should serve as a warning. Rhaenyra had a chance to respond to our first offer, but no response. Her arrogance cries out for our answer."
"Perhaps we should first give Princess Rhaenyra time to respond to the fact that we have her son here before we speak directly of an execution, Lord Lannister," Alicent interjected, looking at the man judgmentally quickly. "You are frighteningly quick to end a life and start a war."
"Your Grace, I'm just being realistic. The Blacks want the throne, the Princess will not give up until we put her in her place. Her lack of education has suppressed any connection to reality."
"In front of the smallfolk?" suggested Orwyle. He seemed enthusiastic.
Rose was disgusted by the two men. The prospect of war seemed to delight her, but first and foremost it was the smallfolk and the soldiers who would lay down their lives before even one of those present would think of being on the front line.
She felt completely out of place. The wine in her hands was heavy and not even Aegon paid attention to the sweetish liquor.
She looked at Prince Daeron, who was sitting next to Aemond. She wondered what he thought. He was silent, but she hoped that he would speak up to take sides with Lucerys Velaryon.
"No," whispered Alicent. "That was not my husband's wish."
"With all due respect, your Grace, the King had also never expressed a desire to appoint his eldest son as his legitimate successor, always held to the ridiculous appointment of the Princess until shortly before his death, when he changed his mind."
"Didn't we already have this conversation? Is your bloodlust so big?"
Lannister jumped up. His expression was indignant. "Your Grace, I-"
"We will not start a war because we murder Princess Rhaenyra's son."
"Alicent," Otto began, "I know about your past with Princess Rhaenyra, the friendship you both shared but we have not yet received an answer from her side. It is safe to assume that the princess has declined our offer."
"We haven't received an official refusal from my sister yet, right?" interjected Aemond, and all eyes turned to him. "I would suggest we listen to my mother and show patience and a cool head." The prince looked to his brother. Aegon sat at the head, right next to their mother.
Rose was surprised that Aemond opposed the execution of his nephew. She would have thought that he would be the first to take up the sword. Dyana had told her that it had been Prince Lucery's who had taken Aemond's eye. A fight between two boys. Rose understood why Aemond had no sympathy for the prince, but she hoped he would refrain from murdering the boy.
Rose saw how the young brothers, communicated with their eyes. Aegon looked to his mother, who looked at him pleadingly. "Lucerys Velaryon will remain alive."
The verdict was in. At least for the time being.
The septa at Red Keep was a cruel woman, Rose had noted. Since her arrival, she had not attended morning prayers, having neither the time nor the sense of direction. She did not know how many times she had gotten lost in the past few days, but it was often.
Septa Morana, however, did not seem satisfied with her statement.
"Do you think you are special?"
Rose looked at her in surprise.
"No, of course not, honorable Septa."
"I heard that Prince Daeron brought you here. You've earned a high place right away, girl."
Anger flooded Rose's body, but she remained silent. It was not a good idea to mess with a septa. Especially not when she had such a high influence.
The septa stepped close to Rose and examined her from top to bottom. "I know girls like you. Girls who hope a man will take care of them so they can live a comfortable life. It doesn't take much to warm a bed, does it?"
Rose wondered how she had managed, within a few days, to be called a whore several times. First Prince Aemond, now Septa Morana.
"Such behavior is not tolerated here."
"I don't expect anything from a man. I didn't come here to warm a bed, I came here to live a better life."
Before Rose could even respond, the septa had lashed out and punched her in the face. The blow was so strong and surprising that she lost her balance and went down. She tasted the blood in her mouth.
Stunned, she looked up at the older woman. Her blow had been brutal.
"You dare to talk back? Girls like you have no respect. You open your mouth when you're told and keep silent when it's expected of you. You bastards are getting cheeky and forgetting your position."
Rose swallowed the blood in her mouth. Her hands balled into fists. The septa was doing her an injustice. Never before, had she been so humiliated by a woman of faith. Full of anger, she looked up, straight into the eyes of the woman, who drew in her breath indignantly.
"What? You dare look at me like that, you whore? I will have you whipped for-"
"What is the meaning of this?"
Rose would recognize the voice among thousands. She turned, and saw Prince Daeron hurrying to them.
"Prince Daeron," said the septa, intimidated, and bowed. "I apologize for this unsightly spectacle. I had to discipline this maid."
"Discipline?," Daeron repeated irritably, looking down at Rose. "For what, Septa?"
"I don't want to bother you with the details, young prince, I'm sure other matters require your attention."
"That's for me to decide, speak!" commanded Daeron.
The septa hesitated for a moment before looking down hard at Rose, who was still kneeling on the floor.
"The girl is insolent and does not participate in the morning prayers."
"It is not a duty to participate in the prayers. Your punishment is not appropriate."
"It is still a sin."
"It is hardly a sin if the king has let it be known otherwise, Septa," another voice suddenly spoke, and Rose turned in surprise.
Prince Aemond stood beside his brother, looking down at Rose.
His gaze as always cold, but the expression in his eye was different.
The humiliation could hardly be deeper.
"Additionally, I think this is hardly the appropriate place for disciplinary action."
"My honorable princes," the septa began. "You are right, it's true, and I apologize for bothering you with it. I will get the girl out of your sight and-"
"You seem to like to digress, Septa," Aemond interrupted her. Septa winced and looked at the prince indignantly. "It is important to visit the morning prayers." Her spine straightened. "Even if a soul seems to be lost."
"Hmmm," Prince Aemond uttered and strode forth. His arms folded behind his back. "So you think your word carries more weight than the king's word?"
The septa looked at him, startled. "Of course not, my prince. I act only in the name of faith." Aemond moved past Rose with casual intent. He surveyed her for a moment before surprisingly extending his hand. Rose looked up at him in surprise. His expression revealed nothing. He raised an eyebrow, and Rose briskly grabbed his hand. With complete ease, Aemond pulled her up. His hand lingered there for a moment as he studied her face before releasing it.
"The girl does what she wants, and it is my job to guide this hopeless creature to the right path."
"Hopeless?"
The septa jutted her chin. "She is a bastard. Her blood is already stained by shameful behavior. I just want to keep her from knowing what place she's in, and that we won't tolerate any outrage."
It was no surprise that the septa saw her that way. Nor was her hostility a surprise. Rose could no longer count the insults she had received in her life because of her heritage, and yet the humiliation ran deep. Her nails dug into her skin.
"This -bastard-, as you like to call the girl, is subject to the Queen. The king himself has accepted her admission. Do you think the king is a fool?"
The septa drew in a hissing breath.
"What, of course not, my prince, I-"
"Then you think the queen is?"
Rose watched the septa blush and widen her eyes in panic. She shook her head in bewilderment. The sight of her did her good.
"Your comments about this servant, will no longer be tolerated, Septa. If it comes to my attention again that you are going beyond your authority, we will have to look for someone who knows his place."
His words were harsh and cold. Merciless and they hit where it hurt the most.
"Forgive me, my prince," the septa said with lips pressed together, bowing to the princes before giving Rose a hateful look. Her look promised hatred and sorrow and it would not be the last time she would meet the Septa, Rose was sure of that.
The septa disappeared as quickly as she had come.
Rose looked after her before a cold hand on her neck made her wince. Startled, she looked to Prince Aemond, who looked down at Rose with amusement.
"It seems to me you've brought a problem into our house, brother."
The prince's voice was rough. His hand on the back of her neck pulled her closer to him so that she stood only a few finger-widths away.
"You know very well that the septa is the problem, brother. Let her go."
Aemond seemed to pay little heed to Daeron's words. His free hand gripped her chin and squeezed her mouth slightly. Now they stood there, one of his hands on her neck, the other on her chin.
"You like to cause trouble, don't you, girl?"
She didn't know what answer he was expecting.
Aemond looked down at her with amusement, almost defiance, probably hoping she would say something rash and stupid so he would have a reason to ram his sword down her throat.
"If you say so, my prince," she pressed out. Congratulations, Rose had proven she didn't know when it was better to shut up.
The prince raised an eyebrow as she heard Daeron moaning in the background.
"You must like your girls naughty, Daeron. A passion I cannot share. I must say I prefer them when they know their place and submit to their role."
Prince Aemon's hand was firmly on the back of her neck, his fingers curled and pressing into her flesh. Not enough to hurt, but firm enough to serve as a warning to keep her silence.
"Make sure she learns to adjust or I will," Aemond threatened before letting go of her and shoving her slightly away from him. It was a promise she immediately took from him. Without giving her another glance, the prince strode away, leaving her behind once again.
Rose looked after the prince.
And for some reason, she found it difficult to avert her gaze.

Lyly had been in the service of the princess since her 10th and 9th name day. She was proud to stand at the side of Rhaenyra Targaryen.
She had watched the little girl grow into a graceful and proud woman. She had not hesitated for a second to bend the knee when the princess was given her father's crown and made queen of the realm.
A worthy successor.
For her, there was only one ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, and that was Rhaenyra Targaryen, the first of her name. The rightful ruler.
She knew that Rhaenyra valued her. She had never treated her disparagingly, always with respect, usually more respect than an upstart from the lesser folk.
But she was sure that the princess would not hesitate for a second to feed her to her dragons when she learned of the guilt she carried in her heart. A great mistake that had been with her for years and that she would never forgive herself for. She had not acted with evil intent, it was desperation that had driven her, fear.
She had wanted to pay off a debt, but she had replaced one debt with another.
She had destroyed the life of a family and relegated an innocent child to a cruel fate. She had taken away a mother's child and allowed strangers into her home.
She looked at the woman who had just received the news that the Greens had captured her son Lucerys Velaryon. Lyly saw the fear in her eyes, and again felt a wave of guilt come over her.
And all because she had gotten involved with the wrong man.

im mazzie ! 23 - she/they - queer - co. mst
i've been roleplaying for roughly 12 years. started on quizilla, then wattpad, then kik and amino, and i took a year or so break before i decided to try finding partners on tumblr too c:
— 🐚 i roleplay in 3rd person literate style. anywhere from one paragraph, semi lit, lit, to borderline novella style. i prefer somewhere in the middle, but will match your length/style ! (i will also type in lowercase like this ooc but i promise i have real grammatical skills lmao)
—🍙 i roleplay exclusively on discord. if you're interested please dm me @ darlingmazzie ! id like to eventually make us a private server so we can more easily organize everything, and its also easier to talk & be friends ooc that way c:
— 🎧 i exclusively roleplay ocs and prefer oc x oc pairings. i will roleplay within fandoms/canon universes, but only with original characters. the exception to this is dragon age (origins, two, or inquisition), in which case i will do either oc x oc or oc x cc pairings. the only chars i wont play in da are cullen and aveline </3 if you want to play canon characters in any of these, thats fine! i just wont do it myself, im not super comfortable with it/afraid of being super ooc
— 🧸 fandoms i am familiar with: dragon age, tes: oblivion, tes: skyrim, fallout (3, NV, 4), fable 2 and 3, game of thrones (not asoiaf), d&d settings, lord of the rings/the hobbit, altered carbon, stranger things,
— 💿 i will do any pairing, but prefer pairings with female characters because i just prefer playing women. most comfortable with m/f, followed by f/f (or gn/f), but i will do any other pairing, including poly pairings/relationships (i love them sm) !! i prefer to play more than one character per roleplay/doubling up anyway :) optional tho!!
— 🤍 i prefer to do roleplays with romance and much prefer to include smut. (can be occasionally or often, just lemme know how comfy you are with it!) because of this, i wont roleplay with anyone below 20. i'm almost 24 and rpimg smut with anyone younger makes me feel icky. if you never roleplay smut or do so extremely rarely, we probably wouldn't be a very good match :c
— 💭 favorite genres: apocalypse, dystopian, fantasy/occult/supernatural, sci fi, semi historical, historical fantasy, horror adjacent. will do more casual settings, slice of life, college settings, even more cutesie things (preg/family rps, etc).
— 🪩 i have very very few triggers and love exploring dark content and themes (stalking, slashers, blood magic, demons, mental illness, angst, death, etc) alongside everything else, especially in horror adjacent plots. the only thing i have a hard line on is oc/character death (unless we really really discuss it before hand!)
— ✉️ i would prefer to come up with a plot together or discuss things we both want (and possibly create ocs specifically for the roleplay), but i am working on getting some carrds for my currently 'pre-made' ocs and scenarios that i am more than okay with using !! links will be up soon <3
