- Expect the Raiden Shogun to sometimes follow you around, she's just worried ok!? With the Shogun’s eyes she can always see you...safe! So that’s what makes her mostly happy...is seeing you safe~

- She lets you in her Plane of Euthymia. Mostly makes it a more...pretty and peaceful place instead of scary...since she doesn't want you to be afraid whenever you want to visit her :)

- DON’T and I mean DON’T let her in the kitchen. She CAN’T COOK EVEN IF IT MEANS HER LIFES ON THE LINE. If you don’t wanna die of food poisoning...just cook something for her instead and make her STAY AWAY from the kitchen.

- If you know how to bake. Then she demands sweets from you EVERYDAY. Their just soo gooddd how can she resist them? and no need to worry about cavities she can just replace her teeth right?

- She’ll give you Japanese nicknames because she wants to :3

- Yae Miko would often tease you both(mostly you lol), but despite all that teasing...she is truly very happy that Ei found someone like you<3

- Ei will let you mess and style her hair, like it doesn't matter what she just wants you to touch her hair honestly...your touch is just soo smoothing and gentle that she just wants to lay on your lap while you stroke her hair... *sigh* she could stay like that for an eternity.

- Overall she is an overprotective yet sweet and very caring girlfriend but not really wife material hehe~

-The most slyest fox lady of all, she has no mercy and will leave you a blushing, stuttering mess just for her entertainment, What a bully >:0

- But don't worry there are sometimes where she isn't constantly bullying you and on those times she just coos over you~, by that I mean treat you like your a baby lol

- She has definitely make a novel about you, no doubt about it. Its painfully obvious who the novel was for LMAO

- You’re the only one (and Ei) that has FULL PERMISSION to pet/rub her ears and tail, as well as her true form!

- In her true form she loves to be on your lap being petted by you, its very relaxing for little foxy yae~

- She also loves her belly being rubbed BUT SHE DOESN'T TELL YOU THAT.

- She actually has no shame in flirting with you in public. Your reactions are everything to her, It just cures her boredom :)

- The Queen of Summer and fireworks is the sweetest of them all! 

- She knows that life isn't sometimes that fun and great but...she really doesn't like it when your not happy or smiling! So..whenever you feel down...she’s your shoulders lean on and cry :)

- She takes you with her sometimes to test her fireworks, but obviously you have to stay a few meters away, she doesn't want you getting hurt now~

- Since fireworks are her passion and pride she would MELT if she notices you taking an interest in it, she just appreciates and loves you even more!

- Yoimiya would take you with her to entertain the kids of Narukami island because she thinks with you she because even more brighter and she thinks the kids love you more :3

- When the shrine held the test of courage test and you guys attended even when you were scared...she reassured you that she would protect and keep you all safe~

- Very affectionate, even in public, like she understands if you don't like PDA that much but she’ll still sneak in a few kisses and hand holding here and there.

- Kokomi HATES it when you get hurt...she personally heals you whenever you would get hurt..blood is normal for her but blood on you? Not normal...its horrible!

- She sometimes sends little water fishes to watch over you, usually its just there to keep you company, like a seelie almost :)

- She has insecurities and doubts about herself...not only that she also has lots of pressure...so in times where she's at that state please remind her that she's doing enough for everyone :)

- When you guys are together she's like your personal bodyguard or something..always behind you..glaring at anyone who looks at you funny..being menacing and overall being scary....

- Sara doesn't like it whenever you go somewhere dangerous and alone...she knows you can protect yourself very well but...she can't help but still worry..

- Whenever your not looking at her she's looking at you. Why do you ask? Cause she thinks that you’re the most beautiful person ever....

- When danger is there she instinctively goes in front of you and holds an arm in front of you yelling to get behind her, she is not gonna let you get hurt.

How did you get here you you don't know ether you really wanted to see him and plus he said you can come to see him anytime you want so no harm is done here right, at least that is what you tell yourself.

As you opened tent he was in you slowly walked to his sleeping form it would be be shame to wake him.. And you jumped on him.As he jolts awake he panics a bit but sees its you and instinctively hugs you back "well hello mon chérie";"hii, and i told you to not call me that if you don't tell what it means" he only giggles at that of course you could ask someone in city or court what it meant but you afraid someone is going to make fun of you after all you were one of most respected person in city of Fontane and that that is why you shouldn't be here even worse drunk as you are now, honestly you just wanted a little escape from your thoughts thinking of him all day so it was better idea to get drunk and actually see him great life choices, "soo ~ why did you come here to see me not that i mind". The first time you revealed your pregnancy to Kazuha, he was over the moon happy. He carried you and spun you around, then hugged you close kissing your temples, both disbelief and joy on his face. He then rubbed your belly and kissed it. 10 minutes later, you found him sleeping on the couch with a small smile on his face.

He would make you herbal tea to ease the pain. He would spend a great deal of time, talking with the herbalist to know which herb is suitable for each occasion and each stage of the pregnancy.

He will make nutritious and full-filling meals. He even gets out of his way to learn new recipes from Xiangling so he could impress you.

He won't allow you to go to sea with him. He is paranoid that you're going to get sick or injured during the trip and he can't risk it. And he's pretty stubborn about it no matter how much you reassure him.

He's protective. Very protective.

Writes poems about your beauty and glow. Kazuha could easily admit that you look 10x more beautiful. Your glow easily beats the moon.

Writes poems and letters for the baby. Almost every evening you find Kazuha sitting on the floor, writing. When you asked him, he just grinned. When he's away you found the box containing the letters and found it addressed to the baby. Your smile grew as you read them.

He likes to caress your swelling stomach before sleeping. Kissing and talking with it. He would bring his ear close and wait for baby bumps.

He would gather flowers every week for you.

Cuddles with you all the time, giving you undived attention. He'd listen to your worries and complaints without judgement then reassure you by kissing your temple and doing that thumb thing while holding hands.

Will always be on alert. Even the smallest sounds can make him awake and scan for any signs of danger.

He will fetch and make your weird food cravings at any time of the day. You just have to say what it is and boom, with no hesitation he'd come back with it and then laugh with you when it taste bad.

Plays the leaf for you and the baby. At times when you can't sleep, he'd play a tune with the leaf to relax your nerves.

During the weekend, Kazuha would talk to other dads and old people for advice and tips. He'd take notes and everything then tell you everything about it. People respect him for his hard work and dedication. You too can't help but praise him for it.

oo he's touchy. He wants to kiss you all the time. Touch you all the time. Bask in your presence all day even if there's nothing to say or do.

Reads books on parenting and then shares with you what he has learned

Storing his weapons far away so it's safe for you and the baby

He is always present for your pregnancy checkups and even reminds you of it. He never forgets a day and will always be by your side as the family doctor informs both of you about the baby

Reassures you that you're going to be a great mom and that he's going to be a great dad. This is what he has always wanted and he would trade the whole world to have it.

Gives you back rubs and massages your muscles.

Will offer his arm every time you both go outside together. He'd be patient as you both stroll around Inazuma,. He would sit down with you whenever you're in pain or exhausted and buy you food as soon as you mention them.

My Saviour: Part 8

Warnings: angst, mentions of bloodshed and fighting

Anddd we’re back with the angst! I kid you not, it took everything in me to write such angst cuz I love fluff and happy stories T-T but I assure you that my writing never ends with sad endings soo…I hope you Enjoy!

In just the blink of an eye, another month had gone by. You were as happy as you could ever be, and had been training with Thoma to learn how to use a Polearm. It took some convincing before Ayato could be comfortable with the idea, solely because he was afraid you’d get hurt. But he also knew the importance of being independent and strong, and was very proud of you for trying to become stronger each and every day. To your delight, you were learning quickly, and Thoma was a wonderful teacher. Training sessions with him were filled with laughter and encouragement, which you desperately needed. You also realised that you preferred handling a polearm more than a sword, which hadn’t come off as a major surprise to you. You would train daily with Thoma for 2 hours, after which you would get surprised with your favourite desserts and love filled kisses from Ayato. He had been very free in the recent days, staying home most of the time and you both cherished these free times as much as you could, making so many beautiful memories together.

Today, Ayato had decided to take you out on yet another date, which meant him spoiling you endlessly. He bought books, jewellery, clothes and accessories for you, wishing to pamper and spoil you rotten. After spending the day in Inazuma City, you both decided to take the walk back home through Chinju Forest, which looked ever so enchanting at night. As you both walked hand in hand, fireflies danced around you two with every step you took, illuminating the rather dark sky. The gentle sound of the stream and the cool breeze of air added to the romantic atmosphere.

But something seemed awry. As much as you enjoyed Ayato’s presence in this beautiful dark night, your conscience kept telling you that something was about to go wrong. “Love, what’s wrong? You seem so lost in thought, and your face shows distress.” You sighed softly, feeling your unease grow even more. “Ayato…something is wrong..something is about to happen, I can feel it in my heart..” As he looked at you, he grew worried, for your distress seemed very genuine. He cupped your cheeks softly, placing a tender kiss on your forehead. “Daarin, I’m here with you. I will protect you, I will keep you safe. Perhaps it’s just the darkness of the night that’s concerning you?” You hugged him close, shaking your head. “No Ayato..I mean it, something is wro-“ before you could finish your sentence, Ayato grabbed you by your shoulders, ducking behind a rock and you caught a glimpse of a Nobushi attacking in your direction swiftly.

Ayato instantly grew more protective, and 4 of his Shumatsubaan showed up from the shadows to protect their master and his beloved. You on the other hand were terrified. Had it not been for Ayato’s quick thinking, you would’ve been dead by now. “Ayato…” “hush my angel, everything will be alright hm? Stay here, please. The Shumatsubaan will keep you safe.” You clutched onto him tighter, not wanting to let him go as the unease in your heart only increased. “No..please Ayato don’t go out there!” Ayato placed a soft kiss on your forehead to calm you down before your hiding place could be found again. “Shhh..nothing will happen okay? You’re my brave girl aren’t you? Stay here, I’ll be back okay?” Before you could say anything else, he was gone with 2 of his men to fight. You prayed silently in your heart. “Please protect him almighty archons..”

Ayato drew his sword out, his amethyst eyes filled with anger. Someone had dared to attack his beloved in his presence. He would make sure they wouldn’t succeed. Such a perfect day, ruined because of this silly assassination attempt. He wasn’t unfamiliar with such situations. “Come out if you dare to face me. Cowardly attacks such as those are certainly not tolerated by the people of Inazuma.” At his words, 10 Nobushis appeared, closing in on him. He seemed unfazed and stood proudly, his hydro vision glowing. “You dare to lay a finger on my beloved? Some nerve you have.” And just like that, he began to fight expertly, killing almost all of the Nobushis alone. But it seemed like their foe didn’t stop right there. Another 13 appeared, making Ayato frown. An assassination attempt in such large numbers? He activated his elemental powers this time. “Cascade.”

You were still hidden behind the rock, watching your beloved fight. You knew he was strong, but something was wrong and you could feel it. Anyone who was trying to assassinate Ayato would be aware of his strength, and simple Nobushi would not be able to faze him. So what if- “Watch out Lady Hiragi!!” You gasped, a flash of red appearing in front of you as you quickly dodged the attack. There stood a Kairagi with pyro powers, ready to strike you. You were their target, you were the bait they would use to get to Ayato. The Shumatsubaan guarding you immediately started fighting, but you knew in your heart that they would be no match. To your utter shock, 5 more Kairagi appeared, surrounding the area where you were. Although the fear in your heart was overpowering, you couldn’t let it infiltrate your mind. Not yet. You had to think, you had to find a way to fight.

Ayato now stood between a pool of blood, having killed all the Nobushis. He now rushed to where you were, and to his horror, you were surrounded by Kairagis. Ayato saw red, immediately standing in front of you, shielding you wish his own self. “Kamisato Art: Suiyuu!” You watched as sharp hydro shards conjured, striking the enemies and hitting the flowers below. Although his ability seemed elegant and like rain to others, it was deadly to face. “Ayato- you’re injured!!” Your worried voice spoke, seeing the deep gash in his arm which wielded his sword. He breathed heavily, trying to suppress his pain so you wouldn’t worry too much. “Don’t worry my love-“ “sir, behind you!!” One of his Shumatsubaan yelled, and to both of your horrors, there stood another 10 Kairagi. Where were they even coming from, and what for?

You were now terrified, knowing that ayato was gravely injured and couldn’t go on like this. He ran ahead to fight yet again, and you were distraught. You needed to do something, you couldn’t just stand here and watch your lover get injured just to protect you. Not only that, but two of the Shumatsubaan had lost their lives trying to protect you both. Your heart ached, as your eyes frantically looked around. You spotted a spear on the ground that one of the Shumatsubaan was carrying. You picked it up, taking a deep breath. You could do this, you had to be brave. You rushed towards the fighting scene, your heart aching seeing Ayato getting tired, his wound paining him. His men were badly injured, and it felt like a losing battle. No, you refused to lose like this, you refused to die like this.

You felt something stir within you, a sense of anger, love, protection and bravery. You saw the Kairagi advance towards ayato, and you held the spear strongly in your hand, and in a single, swift motion, aimed and threw it in their direction, instantly killing two of the Kairagi, impaling them through their hearts. The next moments that Ayato witnessed were perhaps the most horrifying moments of his entire life. Time seemed to slow down as you pushed him aside, only to get slashed by the searing blade of a Kairagi. You let out a shaky gasp, dropping to your knees as your crimson blood stained your clothes and the green grass. Ayato let out a shriek of pure agony and pain, his hydro powers gaining newfound strength as they caused all the enemies around you both to die instantly. Tears fell uncontrollably from his eyes, as he held your weak and bleeding figure close. “Y/N!! No, no my love why..” you smiled weakly, placing your trembling hand on his cheek. “A..ayato…” His tears knew no bounds, he was mortified, guilt stricken and unable to believe that he had failed to protect you. “Y..you’ll be okay Daarin..H..hang on, I’ll get you to a doctor..”

You coughed weakly, looking up at the love of your life with a blurred vision. “I..I love you..” Ayato seemed to cry even more at those words, shaking his head, pulling you closer. “I love you too, and I want to hear you say these words to me for the rest of my life, understand? You’re not leaving me like this Y/N, please!” He then heard the sounds of swords being wielded, and to his pure horror, there stood 3 more Kairagi. He had lost his will to fight now, holding you close to his chest. Is this how everything was going to end? Just when his life had started becoming perfect and happy, this was how him and his love would face their ends? Ayato himself was barely holding himself together, heavily wounded, his heart completely broken and his hopes also shattered. At least, as selfish as he sounded, he would get to die with you. He closed his eyes, waiting for the wretched enemies to just end his pain and suffering once and for all.

Seeing the dejected frown on your face and small pout is all it takes for him to fold.

"Yep! Here, I picked some Qingxin earlier. I'll show you how to make them,"

You can't help the wide grin that crosses your face, sitting criss crossed on the ground. You had settled in the field accompanying wangshu inn. Although you didn't notice, just seeing your delighted expression sent a stake straight through Xiao's heart. Warmth filling his expression and forcing him to turn away.

Looking up at Xiao, you eagerly patted the spot beside you. Oblivious to the emotions coursing through him. All the flowers you picked earlier that day were set in neat piles, ready to be turned into flower crowns. Although still hesitant, he sighed and uncrossed his arms. Joining alongside you, one leg streched out and the other bent at the knee.

It didn't take him long to figure out how to make them hinself. While he had never done it before, or anything close to flower crown making, he was a fast learner. In fact he finished his own crown before you did yours. A simple thing, purely Qingxin flowers. Careful, he kneaded a few crystal cores through the stems. Giving it an almost elegant look. Having completed it, he grew silent. A familiar heaviness filling his chest at the sight of something so delicate. The fact he had made it with his own hands; his own hands that were tainted with eons of sin. He couldn't believe something so... pure, could come from them.

"Xiao? Do you want me to put it on for you?"

Jumping out of his thoughts, he looked at you curiously. Unsure of what you meant at first. You only smilied in response, scooting closer to the adepti.

"Here, let me."

Reaching for his crown, you intended on putting it on for him. But he caught on before you did, protectively pulling it closer and away from your grip. Now you were the one confused, not quite understanding. Still, you patiently waited for him. It was clear there was something on his mind, as he appeared suddenly nervous. Refusing to meet your eyes while he fidgeted with the crown in his lap.

Finally, he did make a move. Seemingly frustrated with the way his eyebrows furrowed and he huffed aggravated. It was all quick, him leaning forward and adjusting the crown on your head. While hurried, he was careful not to rustle you or the delicate petals. Straightening it out. All before you could say a word.

By the time you processed it all, he was gone. A gentle smile gracing your lips. Although he was no longer in your presence, you spoke nonetheless,

"Thank you.. I love it."

Immediately delighted by the idea, a soft look of adoration crossing his face.

Was likely the one to teach you how to make them, using the flowers of his homeland: inazuma. There was no doubt the land had plently of beautiful foliage.

Sitting at your back, Kazuha watched your hands carefully. A soft look on his face as he talked you through making the flower crown. While dendrobium was the main focus, you insisted on weaving maple leaves through the stems as well. Stating proudly that they reminded you of Kazuha.

It took a lot to fluster the usually smooth samurai, but the shameless mention sent his heart spinning. Smiling sheepishly and explaining just how to include them into the crown. Watching you so focused on the project reminded him just how much he adored you. Made him want to hold you tight, until the world stopped spinning and the sun set for the final time. How was he so lucky?

The sight was enough to bring on peotic inspiration, a new haiku on Kazuha's tongue as you finished up the flower crown. His arms wrapping around your middle and pulling you toward him, practically melting in your warmth as the sky turned to hues of orange, pink and purple. Getting comfortable in his hold, you reached back and set the flower crown atop his hair. The sight bringing a warm smile to your face. Gently then, Kazuha's hand reached up to cup your cheek. Turning your head just enough to plant a soft kiss to your forehead. He didn't have a poetic way to explain how he felt about you. He simply loved you.

A/N (Hi sorry for dropping this story for so long I didn't know where I wanted it to go but now I have a psuedo Idea, anyway happy Lantern Rite!!)

After explaining to Aether and Paimon my odd and nonsense sounding story, we head off to Liyue. Why you may ask, well because I want to find a way home and the best way to do that would be talking to a certain immortal since he may know how to send me home.

"soo Paimon gets the whole falling into a new world thing but why are you dressed like that" she asks me curiously. "Well I was sleeping when I got here so obviously I would be wearing my pajamas" I say with a serious expression. Honestly sometimes I wonder how Paimon managed to live without the Traveler, before they met it makes little sense to me.

"are you gonna wear that as we go to Liyue?" Paimon responds. "Well I don't have any other clothes? Since ya know I feel out of the sky?". Which is what I told Aether and Paimon, that I was in my world but then woke up and was here in Teyvat. Thank the Archons Aether was sweet and decided to help me otherwise I don't know what I would do. Probably get killed by the abbys, or a rogue hillichurl. Due to the fact I am now an annoying side character in Genshin, who is helpless!! Ugh I hate this. Getting out of my own thoughts I take a look around, it's so beautiful with the mountains and the trees.... And now I'm getting bit by mosquitoes.. man I forgot how much I dislike the outdoors.

Anyway I am roused from my thoughts when Aether states " Hey I have some extra clothes that I was given on my adventures, they may fit you? Since I got them from a friend in Inazuma" why did he have extra clothes and who gave him these clothes that he was so sure would fit me? I ponder this as he pulls them out. I take one glance and realize oh these are Itto's clothes, I don't know a person they wouldn't fit or at least be too big for. "That works thank you so much for your help" I say as I grab the clothes that are definitely not my size. I didn't even realize Itto has any shirts but oh well. "I'm gonna go change real quick over there" I point to a thicket in the path, which should give me enough cover. "Alright me and Paimon will wait for you here"

I go off to change and try to get myself looking somewhat presentable, thank goodness I feel asleep in a bra last night, or else it would really be a nightmare. As I'm walking away however someone approaches Aether. "Who is this mortal you have brought with you?" a voice I would recognize in a heartbeat if I wasn't so far away and not looking. "There a person from another world like me, also xiao it's rude to sneak up on people you almost gave Paimon a heartache." Aether responds "another? How did they end up here and are they a threat" "Them? I don't know how they got here but I can mostly definitely assure you they aren't a threat. Anyway we are heading off to Liyue to see if Zhongli knows anything that could help."

As they are talking I come walking back not even realizing the fictional love of my life is standing there. "I think these will work even if they are a little big." That's an understatement they do not fit at all. "Oh that's good maybe we should find something that actually fits in Liyue. Also I have someone who I'd like you to meet." Oh who is it, then I look up and see him, I am trying to keep my cool and not immediately flip out!!! "Would you like to introduce yourself?" Aether asks who I already know is Xiao. "hello... I'm Xiao..." " Pleasure I'm (y/n)" WOO I said that so smoothly as if I don't even know who he is!! "Xiao will you be walking with the 3 of us to Liyue?" Aether questions the boy with amber eyes. "I may if I have time, I have other things to do for now so farewell, I may meet you there" Xiao says then he is off in a puff of smoke. I just met the love of my life for .2 seconds. I'm in heaven.

Golden drapes made of silk cover the opened windows. Honeycomb rays of sunlight crept its way in, exposing your motionless body. Your nightgown snugs tightly at your figure displaying an arousing view.

Sadly that graceful display was interrupted by a cheerful shrine maiden leaping on top of you, wrapping her delicate hands around your waist. "[Y / n], wakeee upppppp ~!"

Placing a hand above your head, "Tao... can't you be a little more sympathetic..." you groaned. Wishing you'd never befriended the joyful shrine maiden.

"Nope!" She beams. Smile so bright that it's practically making you cover your eyes. "Wanna come over for tea?"

"Do i have a choice?"

Hu Tao shakes her head in response, springing to her feet just as she turns for the door. "See you in a bit!"

Although you could not see that doesn't mean you couldn't hear. The older women who'd lectured you from before was praying for your safety as she wished you'd never came to a place like this. Your heart sunk. Fear completely taking over.

"Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes." He scoffs, releasing your chin. Your face flushes as he takes notice. "Oh? Don't tell me you've fallen for me already?" He cooed.

Trying to keep your composure, you'd straighten yourself out a bit before responding. "No, I haven't. We've just met and I don't even know your name."

He let's out a sharp sigh, shaking his head in disbelief. "I'm Scaramouche," His tone lowering and his gaze intensifying "your beloved husband."

'Him? He's my husband?!' You eyed Scarmouche, sizing him up and down. He was a bit shorter then you and his overall attire resembles traditional Japanese wear.

Scaramouche brows furrowed, eyes narrowing, lips pressed together when seeing you put a hand to your chin, peering intently at every aspect of him. "Can i help you?"

You could hear the irritation in his voice, sentence drawled out through grited teeth. "Oh, was i staring for too long?" You say with a dumbfounded expression.

Just as he was about to lash out on you, one of his attendants barged in, informing you two that dinner is being served. "Get change."

ZHONGLI would take you out to have a nice dinner in third-round knockout, thinking that the best way to celebrate each other's anniversary is to retrace the memory of how the both of you met and the memory of your first date. unlike most of the dates you've went to with this man, this one was more intimate and romantic.

the staff of the restaurant was happy enough to make things more romantic by making someone play an instrument as the iron-tongue tian tells many stories in the background. it was really nice, you admit. it felt like it all happened yesterday when you first met zhongli at the same spot and same time.

later on after eating, the both of you would start strolling around the harbor together as the stars shines above you, causing you to be busy looking at them to not notice how your lover looks at you with love-eyes, thinking about how he's glad to meet someone like you. it honestly felt like deja-vu throughout the whole date, because it felt like he fell in love with you all over again.

LISA will take a day off to spend her day with you. the first thing the both of you did is have a tea session together, talking about whatever comes into your minds for hours on end. it really lightens the whole atmosphere to hear the two of you laughing over your conversations.

the both of you will also spend time taking a stroll around mondstadt and shop together, with lisa willing to dress up for you and you the same. it's a sweet sight for people passing by to see the humble librarian of the knights of favonius spending time together with her lover - it felt like windblume festival already returned with all the romance between you.

afterwards, the both of you will spend time eating dinner in good hunter eating each other's favorite foods. when sara found out about your anniversary, she immediately cooked another food that's on the house, much to you and lisa's delight. by the end of the day, you two lay on your bed in each other's arms, thinking about the future that lies ahead the both of you.

NINGGUANG will wear the most beautiful dress made with the finest clothing the city harbor could offer to their tianquan, wondering what the special occasion is that made the woman dress up so nicely. to her three secretaries, they know full well enough that their superior will be meeting the special someone in her abode.

obviously, the special someone is you.

given her status and reputation, ningguang made sure to pull every string she has so that no one can know about you and the fact that you're her spouse – mainly because she didn't want any person in her city to look badly on you and the dangers that could be brought to you for being with someone like ningguang.

hence why she decided to celebrate her anniversary with you by letting her staff take a day off outside of the jade chamber and immediately take you in, her eyes brightening at the sight of you arriving her home in your best outfit that you manage to get and buy.

it was a quiet evening to say the least, but it was peaceful enough for you and ningguang to enjoy your date together. she knows you long enough to know what food you like the most, knowing that it puts a smile on your face when you see the wondrous sight of your favorite food plastered over the table, so when she sees how you're so happy eating, it makes her happy as well.

however, what took her by surprise is your response when she asks you about your opinion about the food.

"it makes me happy, of course." you said with a smile. "though, not as much as spending time with the one i'm in love with."

she immediately covers her face with her fan, trying not to smile too much from your response. but you know her long enough to know that she's flustered from your words, causing you to laugh a little at the sight of the flustered tianquan.

deep inside, it does make ningguang happy that she gets to spend time with you without any interruptions from her duties. despite having all the luxury she has that now resides in her new jade chamber, none of them compares to the luxury of happiness that she feels when she spends time with you.

when ARATAKI ITTO finds out that today's your anniversary, he'll immediately invite you to go out with him and eat together in a ramen restaurant. oh, you don't have to worry about the money, a certain fox lady owes him free ramen after a competition many moons ago.

although the place he chose for you is something that isn't something worth in awe for, your lover makes it up by the atmosphere and the pleasant conversation the both of you have. with itto, it's like the both of you can talk about any topic you want and he'll make it fun.

and what's better than spending time with your lover in the best ramen restaurant in town? giving your lover the best beetle of course!

by the time the both of you are finished with your meals, itto will immediately surprise you with a rather large box that turns out to be a special gift from your man. you expected something like a jewelry, a matching hairbrush, or even a trinket that he got from a kid who lost to him, but never a giant looking beetle sleeping. of course, your reaction is up to you – either way, you'll hear your lover laugh.

YAE MIKO will be all too happy to show you just how much she loves you more than any human known in this world during your anniversary. you're not sure why but she seems to be more affectionate when it comes to special occasions – which you don't mind of course.

to start the day, she’ll smother you with so much kisses on your face when the both of you meet up just to see your flustered state. could you blame her? you’re just so cute that she just had to kiss you!

she'll give you a special light novel that hasn't been established in her store yet along with a charm that'll surely give you luck and prosperity as a gift (or rather, gifts). she'll be more delighted if you too give her a gift even if it's less special than hers.

she'll then take you to a nice restaurant where the both of you can be alone and enjoy the meals you share. it'll only take a while before the woman decides to sit next to you and offer to feed you with her chopsticks, laughing in amusement from your flustered state.

"oh but i insist on feeding you!" she said when you tried to protest her request. "this is what couples do sometimes is it not? now open your mouth and say "ah" hehe"

it feels strange to be in narukami island despite visiting there multiple times, GOROU would admit. however, if it's for you, then he's all too willing to come over and spend time with you. especially during an occasion as important as an anniversary.

the two of you decided to spend time together by going to a restaurant and introduce gorou to many dishes that he had missed back when he was busy with his duties, alongside letting him eat his favorite dessert after not being able to eat them for so long.

however, gorou then insisted in trying out a new dish that he'd like to share with you alongside his desserts, not knowing what's in store for him as he excitedly tries the food with you.

the moment gorou took his first bite, he instantly froze like a deer caught in the headlights, realizing his mistake as he feels the contents of his food rising up his throat.

later after that, gorou swears to always ask merchants if there's onions in the food as you try to make it up to your lover with sweets.

TARTAGLIA will spend the anniversary with you by inviting you to come to snezhnaya with him and meet his family, who are all too willing and excited to meet the person who has stolen his heart and has been mentioned in many letters written by yours truly.

he values his family more than anything alongside you, so seeing you and the people he shares the same blood with getting along makes him happy - especially if they approve your relationship and you as a person overall.

expect them to ask you many questions about yourself and what you think about your lover, who watches the whole thing with a genuine smile on his face – until he spots his mother sneakily bringing out a very familiar photobook that he intends to hide from you in fear of embarrassment, that's when his smile will drop 6 feet underground and try to stop her from showing you many pictures of childe as a kid.

not to worry though, because his smile will easily return when he overhears a conversation between you and his mother while he’s cleaning up the table, listening to you two talking about how his mom is happy that childe has someone as special as you to be his spouse. his smile could only widen more when you confess to her about something that'll change your lives for the better.

BEIDOU was very enthusiastic when she finds out that you're okay with celebrating your anniversary together with her crew, who are all more than happy to help their captain plan the occasion alongside xinyan and xiangling. spending time with the crux honestly feels like you're in a wedding reception with you and beidou being the newly-wed couple, which you admit, does make you feel a bit flustered to think about.

the whole night, your lover always has her arm wrapped around your shoulder or is beside you, the both of you leaning on each other for warmth and comfort as you celebrate your first anniversary with the people your lover considers as family.

while xinyan takes her cue to start preparing for her performance, beidou takes her cue to take you far away from where her crewmates are, her palms begins to sweat from her nervousness as you follow her without any clue of her intentions.

"it's a matching promise ring," she said, smiling. "i uh, i found this on display while doing some errands around the harbor, so i thought it would be great if you and i can have matching rings. think of it as a charm that you and i can take whenever one of us is away from the other, haha.."

if only your lover knew that you too have a small box that has a ring, a ring that represents your willingness to spend your whole life together with her by the sea and her crew.

VENTI is more than happy to take you out from the city of freedom and explore around the nation with the help of his dearest friend, dvalin. given that it's the first time meeting the dragon that people feared long ago, you honestly were nervous on how your encounter will turn out.

"so you're the human that my friend has been chatting about for ages," dvalin spoke in an amused tone, causing you to get spooked because of the fact that the creature can talk. "it's pleasant to meet you."

without letting you reply, he instantly starts flapping his wings together, causing strong winds to come at you and venti. "come, i shall take you around and show what mondstadt can offer."

windwail highland, brightcrown mountains, starfell valley, and galesong hill – you name it. dvalin took you and venti everywhere as you hold onto your lover in fear of how high the both of you are, paying no mind to how venti starts laughing at the sight of your scared form.

by the time dvalin lands in windrise – the last stop – the first thing that caught your eye was a blanket that sprawled foods near the statue. although this was an endearing sight, you could only wonder how on earth venti managed to make sara from good hunter make so much food.

“silly y/n,” venti said with a giggle, helping you come down from dvalin’s back. “who said i bought these?”

for your anniversary, you and GANYU agreed to take a two-day break from your duties in the qixing and celebrate. to your relief, your request for your break has been approved and assured by the tianquan herself, who immediately gifted you a gift for your anniversary much to you and your lover's delight.

the first thing you and ganyu did during your anniversary is to visit cloud retainer's abode to pay respects and let ganyu introduce the adeptus to you, who has never met an adeptus in person until now (besides your lover, that is). however, your nervous and doubts have all washed away when cloud retainer expresses how she approves your relationship.

it didn't take long before the adeptus started telling you embarrassing stories about ganyu in her childhood when your lover decides to drag you away from mt. aocang and send farewell to the adeptus, who swore to you that she'll tell more of her stories, as the both of you head back to wangshu inn, where you'll be staying for the next two nights together.

unlike most of the characters, you and JEAN weren't able to spend the whole day together thanks to her busy duties as the acting grandmaster. the woman felt guilty when she told you she won't be able to spend the day because of the overwhelming amount of work to do – but you reassured her that it's alright and that there's always next time to celebrate.

it wasn't alright, you admit deep inside, but you're aware that there's nothing you can do to stop your lover from protecting your homeland with everything she can.

you were too sad to notice how a lot of knights of favonius members often came in and out from angel's share with questionable boxes and party supplies, and how sara from good hunter seems to be giving you a reassuring smile when you told her that you're just spending time finding a gift for your lover as an anniversary gift.

however, when you came to angel's share to buy some wine, the first thing you saw when you opened the door was your dearest friends screaming "SURPRISE" at you, causing you to open your mouth agape in shock.

you were about to ask what was happening, until jean walk towards you and give you a comforting hug with a smile on her face. "i apologize for lying to you. i was spending the afternoon preparing the party for you and wanted to make it a surprise." she explains, kissing your temple.

"wait, i don't understand.." you mumbled, staring at your lover with wide eyes.

you looked at the people behind jean, who're all smiling and waiting for your lover's cue to start the party.

jean then holds out her hand to you.

"let me make up for the times we've missed."

ALONE TOGETHER - raiden shogun, diluc, albedo

as someone who's been in plane of euthymia for so long, EI prefers being alone rather than in a crowded place, hence why she decides to invite you to her palace and spend time with her eating desserts and your choice of food. the archon was honestly relieved that she has yae miko, because if it weren't for her, ei couldn't imagine what she would do to celebrate your anniversary together.

it didn't help that she feels.. nervous for the first time in centuries. since when was the last time she felt like this? the things you do to her are so different, yet... not so bad. still, it felt strange to be so nervous about giving you a gift that yae miko helped her come up with, and she certainly hopes that you wouldn't notice it.

if you didn't notice, then the people watching by did.

it was a surprise sight for people who work in the tenshukaku to see their beloved archon acting like a high-school girl in front of you, a mere commoner mortal who managed to capture ei's heart with unknown reasons. but were they complaining? nope.

when ei decided to push her nervousness aside and give you your gift, you stopped talking for a moment and stare down at the wrapped box in confusion.

"you're supposed to.. open it." she clarifies, gesturing the gift.

you chuckled from her words before doing what she said, the first thing you saw is a kamera.

"...happy anniversary, y/n." she spoke with a small smile. "it may… not be much to you but i heard from traveler and his companion that this item makes a visual record of you at this very moment in time, so it makes a great souvenir. i-i was thinking that this may be good for you and i whenever we spend time together."

your eyes brightens from her explanation, an idea instantly came in mind. “why not take a picture of us together right now as our first picture?”

DILUC decides to spend your anniversary together with him by letting all his staff take the day off and let you stay in dawn winery with him.

whether it’d be picking up berries together in his vineyard, chase each other around the field, cook meals together, or even chill in front of the fireplace — you name it. as long as diluc gets to spend time with you, he’s satisfied with whatever you want to do.

with you, he felt like he’s truly at home for the first time in years. the atmosphere have never felt so.. bright and comforting and the place was filled with laughter and happiness shared. not to mention the fact that he actually starts smiling even if it was just small — and you can guarantee that he doesn’t want this day to end.

which is why he starts to think about the next phase of your relationship as the both of you lay on his bed with you sleeping soundly in his arms. would you say yes if he finally invites you to move in with him?

ALBEDO finds it comforting to spend your anniversary together in the cold embrace of dragonspine with just the two of you in his labratory beside one another. expect him to make a painting of you with his best ability as you pose for him with a grin on your face. it didn't take long before you jokingly whine about why it was taking so long, causing albedo to chuckle.

"stand still, dear. i just want to make sure this painting captures your beauty and features that i love." he said, your cheeks feeling warmer than the campfire nearby from his words.

after a long hour of painting you, albedo will then summon a nice table with dining utensils for you to eat and insists on cooking for you – only for you to protest and want to help him out with cooking your meals.

despite wanting you to just sit back and relax, albedo would admit that it was more... enjoyable to cook with you rather than cooking by himself. your hand brushing against his as the both of you lend each other items or ingredients never fails to make his heart (does he even have a heart?) beat so fast.

by the time the both of you finished cooking and serving the food down on the table, he'll immediately pull his and your chair next to each other, letting you sit down first before he does.

as you compliment his cooking and eat your meal happily, albedo could only smile in response and eat his salad, thinking about how it does taste better than any salad he had ever tried in his life.

perhaps eating with the ones you love makes food better is true, albedo thought to himself, humming in satisfaction.

"happy anniversary, y/n."

STAR-GAZING - kazuha, thoma, xiao, kaeya, eula

KAZUHA spends your anniversary by taking you to the highest spot of guyun stone forest, where the both of you can watch the stars together as you bask in each other's presence.

expect him to pull out a small poem that he worked hard for before reciting it to you, who did not expect the poem to be all about you until your name was mentioned along the lines. if only you knew how much poems he wrote about you that are all hidden in the alcor where no one can find them.

you may not have written a poem for your man, but you do know some of the stars that are shining as always. while you point out some of the stars and explain about it happily, kazuha could simply watch you and listen to you for hours with a loving look on his face.

it won't take long before beidou calls out for you two, telling you that you should come down with your lover and celebrate your anniversary with the crux, who has a feast waiting for you to eat, reminding you and kazuha that you're no longer as alone as you were back then in inazuma.

instead of staying in komore's teahouse or explore around inazuma city together, THOMA wanted to change things up a little and take you somewhere far away from the city, which is the amakane island, where the two of you not only will get to star-gaze together but will also get to see a fireworks show prepared by yoimiya.

the chief retainer could spend years gushing about how amazing you look in your outfit that he hasn’t seen you use until now, his words stumbling because of how breathtaking you look much to your amusement and embarrassment.

it was a cute sight to see you two like a high-school couple, and merchants did not hesitate to tease thoma right at the spot whenever the two of you stop by to buy something, causing the housekeeper to laugh and ignore the way his face turns even more red. even some of the merchants gave you and thoma a huge discount after finding out that the two of you are celebrating your anniversary toegther.

not to mention the fact that thoma actually bought himself matching kitsune masks for the both of you to wear – he'll absolutely gush more about this moment too!!

by the time the both of you found a spot to watch the stars and the fireworks alike, you immediately intertwine your fingers with his, leaning against him with a content sigh as he wraps his arm around you with a grin.

"did you enjoy it?" you asked him, still staring at the sky.

"of course," he replied, pulling you closer to him. "why wouldn't i be when i'm with you?"

coincidentally, your anniversary with XIAO is on the day the lantern rite releases its lanterns and mingxiao lantern, so you decided to take this opportunity to take your lover out from wangshu inn and spend the night watching together.

if it were any other person, xiao wouldn't hesitate to refuse. however, since it's you, xiao won't mind coming out to spend time with you.

you decided to make it up to your lover by treating him to dinner in wangshu inn, insisting to your lover that you don't want to watch the lanterns rise with an empty stomach as verr goldet and the rest of the wangshu inn staff watch you both from time to time in adoration, thinking that the both of you look so cute together (xiao knows you and him are being watched, but he won't say anything due to his embarrassment).

by the time the both of you finished, you decided to go to liyue harbor with the help of your lover's teleportation abilities. you were too busy from preparing yourself to notice the way his face has a light pink shade on his cheeks from how close the both of you are.

of course, knowing that his karma debt could affect those in liyue harbor, you decided to watch the lanterns with the yaksha at the same area as where you and him watched the previous lanterns together, which is near the entrance to liyue harbor.

while waiting for the lanterns to rise, you decided to pick up the lanterns that you made with the help of traveler, thinking that it'd be great for xiao to experience wishing in the lantern and let it fly to the sky.

it was as beautiful as it was before, you admit. watching the lanterns along with yours rise along with the mingxiao lantern as it lights up the starry night was indeed a memorable sight, but not as much as the way your lover's eyes brightens at the sight of his lantern floating high above to the sky in awe.

there's nothing more romantic than mondstadt’s most famous spot that's perfect for couples to hang out in: the starsnatch cliff. call KAEYA cheesy, but he honestly likes the idea of star-gazing with his love while dining delicious foods and drinking wine instead of spending the night in angel's share – which isn't an ideal date for an anniversary, if you ask him.

but then again, star-gazing isn't just enough for kaeya, so he decided to plan a scavenger hunt for you to find him and your anniversary spot.

at first, you found it romantic and a bit cliche – but then you realized just how far you might have to go from the city to wherever the hell kaeya is. maybe it wasn't a good idea to let kaeya plan your anniversary.

by the time you arrived, kaeya was standing not too far away from where you are with a smirk. "how was the scavenger hunt, sweetheart?" he asked.

"terrible, not recommended." you replied in a monotone. "you better have food up there or i'm leaving."

he chuckles. "leaving so soon? won't you at least stay for the surprise?'

by the end of the night, kaeya's surprise turned out to be a very expensive wine that you had never seen in your life.

oh, and a very special ring that made kaeya go from being your boyfriend to your fiance.

given that you're the first person EULA has dated, it's safe to say that the woman doesn't know what to do to celebrate her first anniversary with you, so you have to be the one to take the lead on this and guide her.

you made sure that your date isn't somewhere in the city or anywhere that has people, not wanting eula to get another backlash from others on the day of your anniversary, so you chose a spot that's a nice and quiet area around windwail highland that can show you the view of the city of freedom, with springvale not being too far from where you are – it's a perfect area for a picnic with your lover.

when you and eula meet up in your "secret" spot, expect her to give you a gift – which is a home-made special dish made by yours truly alongside a brooch that matches your usual outfit – however, she won't expect you to give her anything in return, so if you too got her a gift, she'll be surprised and happy.

the two of you then eat each other's dishes with your choice of drink, enjoying the quiet atmosphere around your surroundings.

and what else would be great other than amazing meals? dancing with your lover without a care of the world of course !!!

eula will pretty much invite you to dance with her once she deems that it's enough for your stomachs to rest from eating so much food, and despite your protests that you don't know how, she'll simply insist and pull you away from the picnic blanket.

"shouldn't we be using music?" you asked, laughing nervously as your lover holds both of your hands.

"who says we have to use music?" she said with an amused smile. "there's nothing to worry about – just hold onto me and i'll lead the way."

BONUS - scaramouche

celebrating without SCARAMOUCHE honestly made you sad, but you understood why he has to go away. just thinking about the things the fatui would do when they find out that the traitor who hasn't returned the electro gnosis to the tsaritsa has a spouse made you shudder in fear.

you sat alone by the dining table staring at the untouched foods that you made by yourself, wishing that your lover was sitting beside you celebrating this memorable occasion, but alas, fate is too cruel for the both of you to get what you want.

you wondered what he was doing. is he celebrating alone as well in a hideout? is he safe from the fatui chasing him? you could only sigh, knowing you'll never get to know the answer until then.

"happy anniversary to you, kunikuzushi." you whispered, smiling in sadness. "please come back here safe and sound someday."

unnoticed to you, a lone figure stood a few feet away in your cottage, staring at the window where he can see you eating your food alone, which caused his stomach to twist from the sad sight of his lover. there's nothing more scaramouche desires than to enter the place he considers home and have you in his arms, but he knows it'll only risk your safety.

"...happy anniversary to you too, n/n." he mumbles, covering his face with his hat before walking away, never knowing when will the day come that he'll go back to your waiting arms.

"You are a dear friend of mine Ayato, of course I wish to know, plus, your sister would worry if she wouldn't know how you are, you need to open up a little." you said and he gave a defeated sign.

"Fine fine, I surrender myself to your mighty judgement!" he said and you laughed.

"How can such a serious head of the Yashiro Comission and head of the Kamisato clan be so playful sometimes?" you asked and he just smiled.

"I must admit that this is just the effect you have upon me my lady." he said and looked down at you once again.

"Still the same charmer I see." you said with a small grin and he got closer to you.

"Only for you my dear." he said and you tried not to die there from how flustered you got. Right now you were at the bridge from Inazuma city, near the water and that small shrine for the kitsune. As you looked at the sky, you sighted.

"Ah its such a beautiful night, I wish we could stay like this, no clan affairs, no etiquette lessons or way to act before everyone, here we can be ourselves." you said.

"Indeed very beautiful." he said and you looked at him only to see that he wasn't looking at the sky, oh no, quite the opposite, he was looking at you with such an adoration.

"Ayato-" you tried to say but he held your hands so you would look at him.

"Look, I know that maybe you think it would be complicated for us to start something, after all we both rule over clan's with big duties, but, believe me, we can make it trough together." he said and looked at you in the eyes.

"But... What about the others? If we get together, they will expect us to marry, have heirs, and our whole relationship will be public..." you said and he took your cheek in his hand.

"You don't have to do all that if you don't feel like it, we are the own rulers of our lives, so why care about what the others think?" he said and you looked at his blue orbs. They were charming, just like his sister's eyes.

"I- alright, if you really think it could work, I'm willing to give it a chance." you said and he smiled at you slowly approaching you. When you were at centimeters away from his face, he connected your lips with his, kissing you sweetly. You felt as if this was the right thing to happen, a lot of thoughts invaded your head and all you could think of was him, the one you loved soo much.

When you broke, he looked at you and caressed your cheeks with his fingers.

"What about you come and have dinner with me and my sister? I'm sure she would enjoy your company as much as I do." he said and you chuckled.

"How could I refuse to see Ayaka and Thoma, I missed them so much, but I missed you even more." you added and he smirked.

"I didn't expect anything else my dear, after all I'm your soul mate." he said and you rolled your eyes.

"As you say "lord" Kamisato. "you said and he grabbed your waist pushing you into him.

"You will get to see me as lord Kamisato too one day, dear, just wait and see." he said and grinned as you blushed hard.

And with that, you both headed to the Kamisato Estate.

Imagine your wedding with Kazuha. Kaedehara clan is more powerful now, after he's blocked Raiden Shogun' attack, activated second vision and helped the resistance, good words about him were spreading fast in Inazuma. You are of excellent blood too, of course - being sister to Guuji Yae, people know and respect you. There is a lot of well-known guests at your wedding - Commisioners with their families, maybe even Ei herself. It's beautiful, kept at the Grand Narukami Shrine.

I imagine that it can be one of the few moments when Yae isn't her normal, playful self, but when she is moved. Maybe she even wipes away few tears of joy. You just look so beautiful in your wedding attire, all glowing from happiness and joy, looking at your soon-to-be husband with love.

(But, she of course jokes about you too! She will be making fun about your stress, is it because of the wedding night? *wink wink*)

Imagine, after few years, having kid(s) with Kazuha. He's a great father, and Yae is the best aunt. She loves them so much, and she spoiles them too. They are just so cute! She only has one problem with them, they keep touching and tugging her ears, it can be pretty annoying. But she forgives that easily, because she can't keep being angry at little angels!

Because Archons know that if anything or anyone were to ruin this for you, before they had to go through you and Kazuha, they would have to go through a very angry Yae Miko first.

And yes, down the years, after you and Kazuha decide to settle down and have a family, I can see Yae being the conspiring aunt? OMG OR WAIT i acn actually see her being apprehensive of taking care of your kids at first–– like, she squints and questions you when you first propose it, and you have to convince her of it before she finally sighs and concedes. Given her hesitation (and how, imo, Yae doesn’t exactly scream ‘someone who’s overly fond of children’) it comes as such a surprise to you and Kazuha when you come get your kids from the shrine, and your kids are whining and complaining about having to leave ‘Auntie Miko.’ But what surprises both of you more? It’s when Yae leans down to their level with a conspiratorial grin, covering her mouth as if to whisper a secret to your kids, promising that she’ll steal them away from you and Kazuha sometime to hang out and tell them more stories soon. 

After that, Yae (or rather, Auntie Miko) definitely seems like the enabler aunt? The kind who sneaks fried tofu and candies to your kids, who covers for them and spoils them, but also manages to teach them key life lessons that help them to become better people in the future. Overall, Auntie Miko is a 10/10, and after the first time you leave your kids with her, needless to say that you and Kazuha get much more time to go on date nights, thanks to how often Yae snatches your kids up like fox pups to hang out in your shrine, seek out gossip, and tell new stories.

it has been a few months since kazuha had left, yet your feelings for him still lingered. however, when you finally began to try and move on, the new of his return spread.

"hey y/n! did you hear? kazuha is back." yoimiya told you. you nearly dropped your basket when she spoke. "wait, really?" you asked, unsure. she nodded excitedly. you sighed, happy but also worried about what he thought of you.

the next day, you were doing a commission in inazuma when you saw a familiar mop of white hair. you eyed him behind the tree you were standing at and saw kazuha with another girl.

Out of everything that you could have ever imagined in your life, this was most assuredly not it. To think that you would be standing on the shores of the providence with no boarders, of the lands closed off for years by the unfeeling Shogun. Honestly, you thought it was more likely you’d touch the ground of Celestial before Inazuma. Yet here you stood, side by side with the love of your life as you watched the Vision Hunt Decree fade into a nations history.

“It’s finally over.” Beidou spoke, her arms crossed as she watched the crew who followed her on this dangerous mission celebrated with the members of the resistance. While there were tears of joy and relief, there were some who still held onto bitter memories of their encounters with the enemy. The laws may have changed but there was still work to be done in the way of healing. “Hey, come with me.” She gestured with her head toward the path and with a quick nod of yours, you followed after her.

“I can’t believe the Traveler did all that.” You said, recalling the stories you heard of her battles. Not only did she fight a Harbinger, but she survived a direct confrontation with the Shogun and won! How incredible must that person really be to make such an impact on a place that hadn’t known freedom in countless years.

“Lumine really is something else, while she can hold her own, I know someone else who fought bravely as well.”

“Who?” You asked curiously, picking up your pace to match with her stride.

“You!” As soon as you reached her she bumped into your hip, knocking you off the path.

“Oh come on, I’m no where near as skilled as you all are.”

“Skill means only so much, you survived and protected those around you. That means everything in my book.” She turned down the path and you followed. It was easy to be motivated by her words, she had a knack for inspiring her crew, but you still felt the urge to combat her statement until you became distracted by the scene around you.

Flowers and plants like you’d never encountered before began to glow under the setting sun. The blue and purple hues mixed together to create something stunning and as you reached toward one of the interesting specimens, a firefly hovered in front of your eyes. “Hi there.” You giggled, your hand moving to assist it along its way like a guardian of a flickering light, but, when it flew outside of your reach, you were left to watch it wander. “Bye friend …” You whispered. Just then, a snap from behind grabbed your attention but before you could turn to see Beidou lifted you into the air.

“AH! Wait, put me down!” You shouted, your hands falling down to her arms as you tried to stabilize yourself.

“There, look just there.” She jutted her chin outward and when you looked where she pointed, you couldn’t help but gasp. At this height, you were able to see something magical. The treetops glittered and suddenly hundreds of fireflies spilled out around you and lit up the area in a rich golden hue. “Beautiful.”

“What did you sa-“ The words caught in your throat as you gazed down at the woman holding you. Her face flickering under the dancing light of the fireflies, her smile grand and incredible. It was a sudden overwhelming sense of emotion and the words left your mouth before you had a chance to think on them. “Yeah, beautiful.”

You slid down against her chest, her arms keeping a tight hold on you and, while your feet dangled above the ground and your arms found a comfortable place around her neck, the love you both shared was painted in hues of blue, purple, and gold.
