About Seelies, their Palaces in the Dark Sea & how they're Probably Related to Andrius (TL;DR)

Their palaces are in the Dark Sea, where The Seven have no jurisdiction. They brought wisdom to mankind, & probably so to other entities like the Andrius, "the Wolf the North".

Their palaces are in the Dark Sea, & Enkanomiya is also exactly there, but there was no Seelie civilization there; there were just humans from the Unified Civilization as far as we know. It's quite interesting that the Seelie courts are eroded by the time all around Teyvat, but in Enkanomiya they aren't.

For a while, I used to think that the ruins that are around all Teyvat's surface, were the architecture of the Seelies, but this isn't the case at all bc according to the book "A Drunkard's Tale" the Seelie palaces are in the Dark Sea.

And now that we're talking about the Dark Sea and the "A Drunkard's Tale", there's smth pretty interesting I'd like to mention about...Columbina.

In "A Drunkard's Tale" Vol. 3 we learn the tale about a lone wolf, that once wandered in the a "cruel" wasteland; a place that seems to be far beyond the dominion of Celestia, with the remains of fallen gods and others that escaped there after the archon war, (ex. Orobashi).

According to the tale, once the lone wolf passed by a palace where he heard music. Within there, he found a "fair maiden" using an instrument, with a skin "ashen white" & playing a "long-forgotten and mournful melody".

"The chirping of insects on a long-gone autumn night is the chorus of exiles, singing mankind's most ancient song as they live out their plight..." she sang.

"Stripped of all that the body once held close and the soul once held dear, song and memories are all that now remain of yesteryear."

"The last singers, the first Seelie, they played their final tune in the halls of angels."

The Seelies in the area approached the pale white maiden to listen to her music. The wolf asked about the song to the maiden, and the maiden replied "A song of the Seelie".

"Long, long ago, we wrote this song for the human savages. Yet now, we sing it to mourn our own fate."

This maiden was clearly a Seelie who seems to still maintain her human form, & we're told that Andrius received his powers from an ancient god...could this god be the Seelie from the tale? he has a very icy windy ghostly anemo form, just like Seelies.

I'd like to also talk about a possible mention of a Seelie (maybe even Columbina, asuming that she's a Seelie), in the artifact set "Adventurer" in the "Plume of Death", there's a mention of an adventurer meeting a "girl so beautiful" that even her appearance felt surreal.

And do you all know what else did the girl had? that's right! a cluster of feathers!! the similarities are too coincidental tbh...but who knows! anyone in Teyvat could be incredibly beautiful girl with a cluster of feathers, right?... right??

oh ye it always gives this message when you went through all floors and continue

uhh not too long, first floors are always very fast to do if youre putting effort into doing it quick. i was streaming and fooling around a little, redid one floor twice and enjoyed free haitham whump three times so it was like an hour-ish doing all.

(in the first years i was always very try hard with abyss but rn i just feel tired and old LMFAO so im very chill with it and rlly just mess around and do the barest minimum. basically how i live my life ig)

on itto’s presence in inazuma events…

the thing about these constant itto events that annoys me is that… i don’t feel like they add much to his character that we don’t already know? i mean, they could be exploring oni lore, or adding more details to his character, or helping us understand his past better… but they don’t. he’s mostly just used as a comic relief character in these events, and not much more. i love him, don’t get me wrong, but i feel like there is so much missed potential with him… and it’s just made much worse when you just stop and think about how many of the other inazuma characters just… get left to the side. they either show up for the smallest amount of time, or they’re *completely* excluded. and i get why hyv chooses to focus on a few of the more popular characters, but it’s still kind of sad to think about all of the characters who will probably never get the screen time or development they deserve…

#out of all the regions i think inazuma is the most neglected and unbalanced in terms of how the screentime is distributed between characters #and i understand why the other regions are favored more #it’s just kind of sad to see #and ofc i love him… he’s a popular character for a reason !! #but the missed potential with how he’s used in events IN ADDITION to how the other characters are left aside #leaves a bitter taste in my mouth #anyways… sorry for the rant

One thing I love about exploring in Sumeru is that the region isn’t actively trying to kill me,,, unlike in Inazuma where I have to worry about getting hit by lighting or getting electrocuted in the water while trying to solve puzzles. It’s not fun ;;w;;

if genshin regions were schools:

mondstadt: catholic school but more chill. the kids and teachers are pretty weird. their principal venti is basically nonexistent which leaves jean running the school.

liyue: a very prestigious, private school. all the students and teachers are very talented and educated individuals. they excel in the arts, science, and business. zhongli is the silent principal but ningguang makes the magic happen. kazuha is the transfer student from inazuma, he is very poetic.

inazuma: your stereotypical (american) public school. kids are smoking naku weed in the bathroom, getting into fights in the halls, and the teachers are just as bad. principal raiden doesn't give AF, she doesn't even know what's going on half the time. poor ayaka is just trying to be a good student council president. thoma is the transfer student from mondstadt. why did he come here?

sumeru: art school but see victorious. sumeru is not for the scholars, it's for the weirdos. the nerds, the theater kids. even their principal nahida is an oddball. scaramouche is a transfer student from inazuma. how did he get in? who knows exactly (nahida let him).

I am having trouble with the bounties in genshin and am here wondering if I am the only one struggling with this ):?

if u do them in mondstadt they SUCK bc u have to search for all the clues !! i struggled at first too. i do them in sumeru — partly bc i want the wings and partly bc they’re sooo much easier — you just go to the location and find the enemy and they’re generally rly easy to spot !!

Ngl, as much as I love fontaine, if Genshin fumbles Natlan again like it did with Inazuma and Sumeru (I'm noticing a pattern here) I seriously thinking of just dropping Genshin Impact altogether

#Like liyue was overall a good region but the archon quest was just...boring #and even before that all ppl do is compare liyue to mondstadt #I remember people will say something along the lines of Liyue being 'inferior' to mondstadt because of the 'chinese culture' #and ugh I hate those comments so much the implications are RANCID #and then the Inazuma archin quest just sucked big time there were improvements after that but it wasnt enough #im still hoping that Inazuma stories will improve in the future but these days people can only seem to talk about how much they hate inazum #and then Sumeru was all around a huge step up prior to fontaine #Im no expert with the cultural references but there were definitelt some questionable design choices #as well as some really well researched elements in some character designs #again it was all overshadowed by controversy by the fanbase #and then mond and fontaine the only non eastern regions so far where perfectly executed and unanimously loved by the fandom #one of the reasons why I loved genshin in the first place is the representation #but if every eastern non european region is just gonna be fumbled #whether by the genshin team or by the toxic fanbase or a bit of both #then I dont want any of it anymore #genshin impact #inazuma #fontaine #sumeru #personal
