I just want you guys to remember that the reason why some “progressive” Zionists now identify as indigenous to Israel is that they are trying to de-legitimatize Palestinian claims of settler colonialism because, according to them, “you can’t colonize a place you’re indigenous to”. yknow. i personally havent been plagiarized but watching my friends and fellow creatives get swiped and scalped from other's is harrowing, especially when i've been friendly with some of the people who did those things.

it really fucking sucks. to have someone in a fandom, your assumed peer, whomst you laugh about ugly jackets and bald spots with, only for your friends to come out and say "that person plagiarized me". and i wish i could say it's just this once, it was just liz, but it's been something i've born witness to for a long time, have seen my friends and peers wring their fingers together going surely not when it's so fucking blatant.

and it's hard. being "caught in the middle" like that. it's awkward and uncomfortable and it pisses me off that the plagiarist put me in that position in the first place, being friendly with someone who hurt my friends so deeply. who stole from them. and the fact it's now happened a few times.

im thankful that some of the trash took itself out. they don't communicate with me and i dont communicate with them, but we see each other, and it's a disgust that rots. arent they embarrassed? dont they feel shame?

i love this fandom, and i love my mutuals, but this being a prevelant issue has not gone over my head. people i've been mutuals with, i've been friendly with, are guilty. and it's awkward and uncomfortable, i could so easily go "this isn't my problem". but i want my fandom to be a community, and community doesn't do that, ignore the hard things because it's easier for you. because it sucks to see people excommunicate a thief that came out of nowhere while still bumping elbows with people who have stolen from my friends. and it sucks that those same people i was bumping elbows with.

For me, the best thing about the final sequence, where we see what happens in the future, isn’t the redesigns, the ships, or the new lore. (Don't get me wrong those are all awesome). For me it’s just how happy everyone looks. Luz looks genuinely thrilled to see her King-ciñera (I might’ve butchered the spelling sorry), the first shot that we see of Hunter is heartwarming, the smiles of all of the characters are truly genuine, especially compared to the last couple episodes, it warms my heart to see how happy everyone is.
