The two lovers plunge into the icey depths…..their twisting swirling devilish dervish enrergies act as propeller and take them far South….curious the duo press on….never missing a heartbeat….they dive deep into one another….as the thick darkness is pierced by a terrible angry energy screaming out for release…

This is actress Bahar Beihaghi (@baharbeihaghi). She is from Iran where she studied civil engineering. It was really her dream to be in Paris and act (I mean...), but her father had always wanted to be in the US. So she chose to study in New York where she's earning her MFA. And then the travel ban was enacted. She could no longer see her boyfriend back home. Her family could no longer visit her. Bahar teared up talking about the separation. To visit Iran would risk her ability to return to the US. So she's isolated. She talked about her grandmother's house and a famous couch that sits in front of a television there. If her father finds her there, he slowly begins squeezing his way onto the couch, pushing her slowly off to the other side until he can lie down, spread himself generously across it unobstructed and finally sleep. She showed us a picture of her dad sleeping away on that couch. She wants desperately and lovingly to get back there and push him off it. We laughed that this was why he wanted her in the US - so he could have that couch to himself!
