wanted to test a template i’m using to mimic three houses’ textboxes, so i took some gems from @fe3h-incorrectquotes and a few of my own to try it out.
if you couldn't already tell, it's time to make it official: i'm not coming back to this blog. it was fun while it lasted but i don't have the time or energy or motivation for it anymore.
some of you might have known about my sideblog if you were interested in my 3h thoughts outside of just incorrect quotes. i'm moving from the sideblog (@three-moving) to a new but completely identical blog to distance my personal blog from the incorrect quotes one. right now it's called @three-rebranding but soon it'll be @/three-o-clock-things, just like the sideblog previously was.
i'm not deactivating this blog, though. it still holds a lot of memories that i don't want to lose. but like i said before, i don't plan on coming back.
i hope the blog brought you some joy while it was around!
i am also slightly bitter that, despite the fact that the disc-horse is still going strong, the 3h tags i follow are basically dead now. aside from me posting in them, it's basically just. porn bots, ads for zines, incorrect quotes that are truly incorrect, and an occasional post with a ship i don't like 😑
first world problems, i know i know. but it's just a little bitter and sad, you know?
Hilda, after Lorenz got his awful Pre-Timeskip haircut: How do you tell somebody that you care about deeply “I told you so”? Gently, with a rose? In a funny way, like it’s some hilarious joke? Or do you just let it go? Because saying it would just make things worse...
Hilda: See, Professor, we shouldn't need accomplishments to feel good about ourselves. Self-esteem shouldn't be conditional. That's why I stopped doing homework. I don't need to learn things to like myself. I'm fine the way I am.
Byleth: So the secret to good self-esteem is to lower your expectations to the point where they're already met?
Hilda: Right. We should take pride in our mediocrity.
