I've watched 12 Angry Men — my first, and as of yet only, black and white movie.

I've read Freakonomics in its entirety thanks to it. I was so obsessed with the book I even read it on my phone in a very user unfriendly way because I still don't know what app works with archive.org.

For an assignment, I borrowed What You Must Think of Me: A Firsthand Account of One Teenager's Experience with Social Anxiety Disorder. It's actually not that long or boring. Unlike what books my classmates chose.

This was all rather random. It's just a very short angsty fic that took me a couple of rewrites. I finished Loki a few days ago and wanted to write this immediately after but I didn't have that much a plot in mind and didn't have much time on my hands during the week.

So this takes place during Infinity War right after Loki's death. Loki and the reader are currently engaged and the reader is expecting. I might do a follow up fic but only if a lot of people like this one and want a follow up. Please let me know!

Asgard had been totally destroyed. Almost everyone was dead, and the few that had survived had nowhere to go. Except Thor and Loki.

"I promise I'll back before you even notice I'm gone." Loki promised me.

"Too late, I already noticed." I replied.

My beloved's laughter filled my ears, what a beautiful sound. A sound I will most definitely miss.

That was only a few days ago, all of which had been hell without him. I wanted nothing more than to wrap my arms around him and hold him close to me and never let him go.

But I could never do that again.

I could never tell him how much I love him or how much I wished he was still here with me. I could never tell him the amazing news, that I was pregnant with his child.

He'd never know.

I could only look down and whisper to myself as I rubbed my only slightly swollen tummy whilst my eyes began pricking and tears flowed down my cheeks, "But you promised me..."

hey! not an ask game, but i was curious on what your impressions are of the chelsea players personalities? i was trying to think of more incorrect quotes for them but they don't all seem to have very defining characteristics (especially the scandinavians haha). how do you assign players to quotes?

Hey! I’m so sorry for taking so long to answer this ask, things have been chaotic here for the past few days. Again, I’m so sorry to answer this ask so late, and I appreciate your patience so much! And of course, thank you so much for asking! I hope this all makes sense 😊💙 I’m just gonna go down the roster. The Scandinavians are incredibly hard to pin down, that’s for certain 😂😂

Maria: Honest to goodness, I just see her as symbolic of chaos. Check out some videos on here about her shenanigans, she’s fantastically funny. There’s also the infamous video with her and Maren heading into the 2019 WWC in which she fell over backwards in her chair 😂 I might have to just chalk that incident up to sheer clumsiness, but that clumsiness still causes a fair amount of chaos. She’s great friends with Maren, and it seems like she’s also really close with Fran and Beth!

Hannah and Drew: I’ll be placing some players together because I feel like they’re quite similar and they would be in the same situations. These two seem so funny together - check out Chelsea’s Jenga video with the two of them, they definitely like to poke fun at each other and stay incredibly competitive. They seem to be quite a fun duo who’s not afraid to get into shenanigans, so I often pair the two of them together in quotes. Hannah seems a tad goofier though, while Drew seems more ~cool~ but they’re still hilarious.

Millie: Another hilarious player who I also see as being a tad chaotic. A really cool combination of being chaotic while also obviously having the capabilities of being a mature leader who’s ready to take on any situation. Loves her teammates and Chelsea to death, a ride or die type of person.

Sophie: She strikes me as the introvert who hangs out with a bunch of extroverts and gets gradually used to their chaos over time 😂 She seems really mature and able to be a source of quiet leadership on the team. Perhaps even a source of calm during a game!

Jess: I honestly don’t know much about her, but she seems really cool and down to earth! I know I haven’t done many quotes with her, so I certainly need to do more with her. She seems cool, calm, and collected! Definitely a stellar player, and I’m confident she’s also a stellar person.

Melanie: Another person I admittedly don’t know much about! My impressions are basically the same as my one of Jess, she seems so down to earth and calm! Can’t wait to see what she can do on the pitch!

Beth: Chaos 2.0. Confident, daring, and genuine, she wears her emotions on her sleeve! I can imagine her getting into lots of shenanigans with Maria in their spare time. She’s incredibly impactful on the pitch, and I can see her being determined to make a positive impact on the lives of everyone around her!

Ji: Quiet confidence is what I think of the moment I think of Ji. You can see it on the pitch in how she carries herself! But there’s also certainly a goofy side to her as well, you can check out a video on here with her trying to learn Norwegian from Maren 😂 She’s incredibly professional, but still knows how to have fun with her teammates when the time is right!

Guro: I honestly just imagine her just doing silly things with Maria and Maren while chatting in Norwegian. The three of them seem incredibly close, so I’m sure they hang out a lot in their spare time! Guro also seems to be a tad chaotic, but I don’t think you would assume so from the outside - she’s incredibly funny though, there’s a lot of amazing content of her on here!

Fran: She seems so sweet and caring, and wants the absolute best for her teammates and friends! She said it herself that she’s a bit more reserved in group situations but one on one she’s more “herself.” She seems to be comfortable with her main group of Chelsea friends, but of course I’m sure she loves all of her Chelsea teammates! Her and Maria definitely goof off as much as they can though.

Magda: Skip! So caring and passionate about the sport, she loves Chelsea with all her heart. She’s intense, but in the best way possible. She seems to be the type of person who, when invested in something, puts all the emotion they have into it - friends, family, Pernille, and football. She’s not afraid to take charge and confidently lead her team in the right direction! It’s also been indicated that she’s extremely competitive, which just adds to the intensity!

Maren: She seems very cool and calm, another source of quiet leadership on the team. Which is incredibly funny when you put her next to Maria, who’s the epitome of chaos, but she also has a goofy side to her as well! She seems incredibly determined and also seems like the type of person to invest everything she has into the things she loves.

Sam: I know I keep saying that some certain players are chaotic, Sam and chaos just seem to fit together so well 😂 There’s definitely a goofy side to her that often comes out in front of her teammates, and it seems she’s not afraid to be who she truly is around her friends. Outgoing and vibrant, her creative and vivacious personality on the field translates to her personality off the field as well!

Niamh: I don’t know much about her, but she seems so sweet and so excited to start her journey at Chelsea! She seems like she’d get along with everyone so well, and I can’t wait to see what she can do on the pitch!

Erin: Another source of chaos on the team. Certainly goofy and not afraid to try to get a laugh out of everyone. She seems incredibly sweet and passionate about both her performances on the pitch and her relationships with those around her. She seems very sentimental as well, as she pulled out a picture of her younger self after she scored the first ever WWC goal for Scotland. An all-around fantastic player and person!

Ramona: She stumps me. She honest to goodness stumps me. Like, I could see her having either no sense of humor or having a very dark sense of humor. I have absolutely no idea. She’s an enigma in my eyes honestly. My inability to read her and her personality aside, she seems incredibly passionate on the pitch and continues to be a valuable player for Chelsea!

Jonna: She seems very organized and collected until the moment she’s around Magda. I feel like the two of them would certainly just dissolve into chaos the moment they have a plan to do anything. Humor aside, she seems like such a lovely person who’s great friends with her fellow Nordic players and who adores her teammates, friends, and club!

Jamie-Lee: I’m now very convinced I need to do more research on this team, because I also don’t know much about her. From what I can tell, she seems like such a fantastic person whose brilliant skills match her vibrant personality!

Carly and Ann-Katrin: The two GKs are simply enigmas to me. They both seem very serious in games (which makes sense of course, as they are indeed professional athletes) but they also seem like they have the capacity to be as silly and goofy as they want to be and when they want to be. They both clearly love everyone around them with such a high degree of passion, and their work ethics are incredibly admirable!

It goes without saying that I don’t know any of these people personally, so I don’t truly know their personalities. These are just my impressions of all of them. I’m confident they’re all lovely people, both on the pitch and off. If any of you disagree or want to chime in on any points, feel free to drop and ask or let me know in any other way! 💙
