Chapter 1: Copycat
The FBI Behavioral analysis unit was buzzing with anticipation. Agent Jack Crawford was introducing trainee's to some of the saff saying they'll be working on a few cases but that wasn't what the buzz was about. Jack had requested some help from an FBI informant and today she was coming in. His boss had assigned an informant Jack wasn't particularly fond of. Y/n L/n . She was a former CIA Trained Assassin released from her job under confidential circumstances. She was called in to consult on The Chesapeake Ripper case. A conference room with a giant bulletin board with the murder photos on it and a map of the location. The trainees were whispering to each other when loud heels sounded against the linoleum floors. They looked in the hall and saw the ex-CIA agent. Y/n walked into the room and was greeted by Z, Katz, and Will.
"Miss me?" She smirked. Two years ago Y/n had come to assist on a case and it ended with the Unsub being put away and her being in the hospital. Jack came into the room and looked at Y/n. The only acknowledgement she got was a nod. Y/n looked at Will, "I don't believe we have properly met. I'm Y/n I assume you are the Will Graham I've heard so much about?"
"Not pleasant things I assume."
"Just that you can think like them, that's the only thing I care about," She held out her hand but he didn't shake it, "Sorry I forgot you don't feel comfortable being social. I'll try to keep that in mind and if anything I do bother you just tell me." Y/n turned to see Jack and Zeller having the same expression, "Problem?"
"Yeah," He sat at the table, "ex-assassin. Classified discharge. What information could you offer?" Zeller asked and Y/n smirked. She looked at the board then Zeller as she walked over to the table silently.
"Mr. Graham here can think like them but me? Dr. Zeller," She leaned over the table to get in his face, "I can kill like them." She stood up again, "Now let's get this over with." She looked at the board and took one of the images off of it. The pattern was different ever so slightly changed, "This one is different. Why is it up here?"
"Surgically removed organs."
"Mr. Graham, thoughts."
"I objected but they were convinced." Y/n nodded and pulled another board in with Copycat written above it, "Jack don't object. Mr. Graham, any others you had an objection to?" Will walked up to the board and handed her three other pictures. Y/n looked at them and put them on the board, "You take out the incorrect pieces of the equation and you can solve it. As for this copycat, we need to take care of him before we take care of the real thing?" She turned to look at them, "Mr. Graham, the theory?"
"He hates women. These are all prostitutes," Will said and the group started going over information. Will had left around 6:30 and no one really noticed. Y/n was standing there looking at the board they had thrown together as her thoughts started to run through her head. She was torn from her thoughts of the copycat when her phone beeped. She grabbed it quickly in case it was an emergency nearly tripping over her shoes that she took off at some point.
REMINDER: Visit Dr.HL at 8pm
She looked at the board and took a picture of the board and saved it to her gallery. She picked up her shoes before leaving without even looking up. She got in her car and put in the address of her friend's office. She rolled down the window and blared her music. It went from disney songs to metal to classical music. She got out of her car and ran inside.
Her friend Doctor Hannibal Leter had met her 4 years ago before she left her CIA job. Y/n had originally gone to him for a psych evaluation. Hannibal was the first and only person Y/n had shared information about how she came to be part of the CIA and information about her family with. After several sessions Hannibal and Y/n had become friends and agreed upon him no longer being her psychiatrist. As she walked up the stairs she was in the hall about to go into the waiting room as Will came in the hall. She froze when she realized he came out of Hannibal's Office.
"Hello," Hannibal said upon seeing her and Will looked at her then Hannibal.
"Hello Y/n," Will said, "Why are you here?"
"Uh?" she didn't want anyone to know why she left the CIA and decided to come up with a quick lie, "Uh? I came to the wrong building, I think."
"Well, this is Doctor Lecter. He works with us on the ripper case," Will said and Y/n politely nodded. Hannibal held out his hand and Y/n mimicke their first meeting, "Perhaps he can help with the copycat."

➤  * 𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓.ㅤ( RESULT: THE LOYALIST )ㅤLEON SCOTT KENNEDY — ANALYSIS.
Tumblr media
* sixes are defined by a deep uncertainty and mistrust of the world, and by a desire to secure a safe position for themselves to defend against threats. sixes maintain a sense of vigilance, always anticipating and planning for the worst. they are tireless analysts and unfailing realists, thinking through every eventuality to ensure they are prepared.
Leon's response to anxiety as the loyalist enneagram type portrays with a dominant style as the committed, security-oriented type. The traits of the enneagram type six are typically reliable, hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy. Excellent "troubleshooters," they foresee problems and foster cooperation, but can also become defensive, evasive, and anxious — unlike when he's running on pure adrenaline in tragic situations, in civilian life, Leon's stress dominates his every waking hour. Often overtly cautious and indecisive in private, Leon prefers a strictly structured lifestyle, and bottles most emotional struggles up, presenting himself as far more put-together to outsiders, only really letting his guard down to his family unit / support system of Ada, Claire, Helena & Hunnigan.
When it comes to long-term anxieties, Leon can be reactive, to the point of nearly explosive when intensified by his alcoholism, he rises to bait & argument easily on his worse days and picks away at problems meticulously when they're not quite as large as he's perceiving them.
When concerning his career, Leon can be defiant and rebellious, subtly just as well as apparently. This can present in adrenaline-chasing behavior, vicious arguments, minor infractions meticulously built to snowball and inconvenience, misuse of government property which also means self-harm but is never recorded as such. It can present also in behind-closed-doors arguments and interference in political affairs, both from purely a speaking and connected standpoint, just as much as involving himself physically in deals deemed morally incorrect (by his personal code of ethics) by those who hold his 'leash' so to speak. Leon did not choose of his own free will to go into his line of work, he was coerced through blackmail and the life of a little girl being held over his head. He's not opposed to returning the favor to those above and around him when the situation requires, he may be 'the loyalist', but it's more than hard-earned, and conditional especially to government characters - it's also important to note his 'loyalty' isn't always willing and can be conditioned or manipulated, legally or psychologically.
Leon is naturally suspicious, especially as time goes on as his PTSD intensifies, and people continue to mislead him, which Leon is not always unaware of. Leon suffers from self-doubt for a variety of reasons, but mostly due to his lack of control, both in the sense that most matters are out of his hands but still risk his life, and that in when he does get to hold the reins, addiction can overtake him, or inexperience can make him feel inadequate and thus be inadequate, proving to his superiors that Leon, without a handler, cannot be trusted to most things without fucking them up.
There's a theme of induced helplessness, especially through providing access to alcohol & taking advantage of Leon's addiction, but also in putting him in social situations or high-stress circumstances that Leon has no past history with, playing on his insecurities and anxieties. False tasking can be an exercise sometimes executed purposefully to make whatever's at hand more difficult for Leon than it actually would be, to enforce learned helplessness, to enforce stricter handling while having little to no consequence to those above him, as the situations are never real.
At his best, Leon is internally stable and self-reliant, and works well with others. Leon is a functioning alcoholic, and while it isn't impossible for Leon to play well with others and be stable while sober, it's unlikely, so most of the time, at his best is synonymous with while drunk.
✦ BASIC FEAR: of being without support and guidance. ✦ BASIC DESIRE: to have security and support. ✦ KEY MOTIVATIONS: want to have security, to feel supported by others, to have certitude and reassurance, to test the attitudes of others toward them, to fight against anxiety and insecurity.
Of all the personality types, sixes are the most loyal to their friends and to their beliefs. They will “go down with the ship” and hang on to relationships of all kinds far longer than most other types. (Ada Wong) Leon is also far more loyal to ideas, systems, and beliefs than what is average — even to the belief that all ideas or authorities should be questioned or defied. Not all Sixes go along with the “status quo”; their beliefs may be rebellious and anti-authoritarian, even revolutionary. In any case, they will typically fight for their beliefs more fiercely than they will fight for themselves, and they will defend their community or family more tenaciously than they will defend themselves.
Leon's fierce loyalty to others is spawned from his basic fear - of being abandoned and left without support. Speaking metaphorically, he's too used to the collar to take it off, and looks for another collar almost immediately when off-leash, out of his realm without the weight of it around his neck and immediately seeking that familiar comfort of not having to make his own choices, knowingly or unknowingly, but more often the latter. Whether that collar is found in alcohol abuse, or found in other handlers, Leon being on his own is unnatural and disquieting.
The reason Sixes are so loyal to others is that they do not want to be abandoned and left without support — their Basic Fear. Thus, the central issue for type Six is a failure of self-confidence. Sixes come to believe that they do not possess the internal resources to handle life’s challenges alone, and so increasingly rely on structures, allies, beliefs, and supports outside themselves for guidance to survive. If suitable structures do not exist, they will help create and maintain them. (Division of Security Operations; DSO)
Sixes are the primary type in the Thinking Center, meaning that they have the most trouble contacting their own inner guidance. As a result, they do not have confidence in their own minds and judgments.
This does not mean that Leon does not think and make his own decisions! On the contrary, he thinks — and worries — a lot! An enneagram type six tends to fear making important decisions, although at the same time, they resist having anyone else make decisions for them. Leon wants to avoid being controlled, but is also afraid of taking responsibility for his own actions, particularly if they have major consequences. Leon is not begging for other people to make the hard choices for him, but he believes himself at his core to be inept of doing such, won't admit it, and so doesn't fight to take control and make his own decision, but isn't happy about it.
Leon is always aware of his anxieties and always looking for ways to construct “social security” bulwarks against them. Leon plans for future problems that may not ever actually occur, but it gives him comfort to have a contingency plan in place anyways. This can be both a healthy and unhealthy coping mechanism, intensifying anxiety and paranoia just as much as it destresses him.
If Leon feels that he has sufficient back-up, he can move forward with some degree of confidence in his decisions. The people that immediately come to mind are Scott, Hunnigan, & Helena.
A great analogy to this, particularly in example with Leon's relationship to his brother, Scott ( @destallo ) (verse dependent), is the cheetah-and-canine situation seen in some zoos, where cheetahs are too anxious to dwell on their own and require emotional support dogs, and that's the basic frame of Leon & his brother's bond. Leon's relationship model with his brother, is one that Leon had in his early development that worked for him, and so he replicates that bond alot throughout his life - without meaning to.
If his back-up crumbles, Leon becomes anxious and self-doubting, reawakening his basic core fear of abandonment. This was severe in his relationship to Jack Krauser and had far-reaching ripple effects to the way he manages current relationships and the always-present gnawing concept of possible betrayal - few get close to Leon truly.
(“I’m on my own! What am I going to do now?”) A good question for Sixes might therefore be: “When will I know that I have enough security?” Or, to get right to the heart of it, “What is security?” Without essential inner guidance and the deep sense of support that it brings, Sixes are constantly struggling to find firm ground.
Leon attempts to build a network of trust over a background of unsteadiness and fear. He is often filled with a nameless anxiety, and then tries to find, or create reasons why. Out of a want to feel that there is something solid and clear-cut in Leon's life, he can become attached to explanations or positions that seem to explain the situation, even if not necessarily true.
Because “belief” (trust, faith, convictions, positions) is difficult for Sixes to achieve, and because it is so important to their sense of stability, once they establish a trustworthy belief, they do not easily question it, nor do they want others to do so. The same is true for individuals in a Six’s life: once Sixes feel they can trust someone, they go to great lengths to maintain connections with the person who acts as a sounding board, a mentor, or a regulator for the Six’s emotional reactions and behavior. They therefore do everything in their power to keep their affiliations going. (“If I don’t trust myself, then I have to find something in this world I can trust.”)
Leon trusts in Ada Wong. Even at the worst of circumstances, he has unwavering faith in her. Because of this, Leon reacts badly to being confronted with her individual sins, whether outright refusing to acknowledge them, or taking them as personal attacks and confronting her. Leon's faith in Ada Wong has damaged other relationships of his, especially connections with Chris, Piers, & Claire. Leon's involvement with Ada has had repercussions in his career, it's known that he upkeeps a connection with her and it has consequences in multiple facets of his life. But to remove her from his life would be like mutilating himself, she's as familiar as his own face in the mirror. They maintain a connection like platonic soulmates, not always for the best.
Leon trusts in Hunnigan. It is, quite literally, her job to keep Leon from falling into a nose-dive mentally, and keep him intact physically, and Leon respects the hell out of her for this, knowing he certainly doesn't make it easy - when he does fall into bad habits and becomes self-destructive, even at his worst, he tries to minimize consequence to Hunnigan, his attempts to shut her out never quite work, and Leon can be easily led back onto the right track by her confronting him and holding him accountable. She's been there with him at the worst points of his life, and simply put - there is no Leon Kennedy without Ingrid Hunnigan.
Until they can get in touch with their own inner guidance, Sixes are like a ping-pong ball that is constantly shuttling back and forth between whatever influence is hitting the hardest in any given moment. Because of this reactivity, no matter what we say about Sixes, the opposite is often also as true. They are both strong and weak, fearful and courageous, trusting and distrusting, defenders and provokers, sweet and sour, aggressive and passive, bullies and weaklings, on the defensive and on the offensive, thinkers and doers, group people and soloists, believers and doubters, cooperative and obstructionistic, tender and mean, generous and petty—and on and on. It is the contradictory picture that is the characteristic “fingerprint” of Sixes, the fact that they are a bundle of opposites.
The biggest problem for Leon is that he tries to build safety in his environment without resolving his own emotional insecurities. When he learns to face his anxieties, however unlikely, Leon is capable of understanding that although the world is always changing and is, by nature uncertain, he can be steady in any circumstance. But, it would be a long and difficult process for him to reach that point, especially compounded with his alcoholism, post-traumatic stress disorder & susceptibility to manipulation.

A Closer Look at Lead and Copper Testing in TexasTaking
Tumblr media
Welcome, lead and copper testing enthusiasts!
In this article, we will embark on a journey to unveil the hidden dangers associated with lead and copper testing in the great state of Texas. We will explore the procedures, challenges, and importance of conducting these tests, ultimately shedding light on the potential risks that lurk beneath the surface. So grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and prepare to delve into the fascinating world of lead and copper testing.
An Overview of Lead and Copper Testing
Lead and copper testing is a critical process that helps identify and mitigate the potential health hazards associated with these metals in drinking water. Texas, being one of the most populous states in the United States, has implemented a comprehensive lead and copper testing program to ensure the safety of its residents.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) along with local water systems carries out regular tests to monitor the levels of lead and copper in drinking water sources. These tests are designed to comply with the guidelines set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and are an integral part of safeguarding public health.
Why is Lead and Copper Testing Important?
Lead and copper can have adverse effects on human health, especially when present in drinking water. Lead, even at low levels, can impair brain development in infants and young children, leading to learning disabilities and behavior problems. Copper, on the other hand, can cause gastrointestinal issues and contribute to an increased risk of liver and kidney damage.
Regular testing helps identify high levels of lead and copper in drinking water sources, allowing authorities to take preventive measures and ensure the safety of consumers. By examining these metals' levels, government agencies and water systems can make informed decisions to reduce and eliminate any potential health risks.
The Challenges of Lead and Copper Testing
While lead and copper testing is crucial, it comes with its own set of challenges. The process involves various steps, such as sample collection, laboratory analysis, and interpretation of results. Let's explore some of the common challenges faced during these stages:

Texas has a well-defined regulatory framework to govern lead and copper testing. The TCEQ, along with the EPA, has set specific guidelines and rules related to sampling, analysis, and reporting. These regulations ensure consistency across water systems in Texas and provide a standardized approach to protect public health.
Water systems in Texas are required to conduct lead and copper testing at regular intervals, targeting areas with higher vulnerability. The results of these tests must be reported to the relevant authorities, and appropriate actions must be taken to address any potential issues.
Addressing the Hidden Dangers
Now that we understand the significance of lead and copper testing and the challenges involved, it's crucial to explore measures to address the hidden dangers proactively:
Education and Awareness
Increasing public awareness about the risks associated with lead and copper in drinking water is essential. Empowering individuals with knowledge about preventive measures, such as using lead-removing filters or opting for bottled water when necessary, can significantly reduce exposure.
Collaboration between Water Systems
Promoting collaboration between water systems can enhance the efficiency of lead and copper testing programs. Sharing best practices and resources, as well as supporting smaller or under-resourced systems, can contribute to better testing outcomes and improved public health.
Continual Monitoring and Improvement
Regular monitoring and evaluation of lead and copper testing programs are essential to ensure their effectiveness. Identifying areas for improvement, staying updated with technological advancements, and incorporating feedback from experts and stakeholders can refine these programs over time.
Conclusion
Lead and copper testing in Texas plays a vital role in safeguarding the health and well-being of its residents. By understanding the importance, challenges, and regulatory framework associated with these tests, we can collectively work toward addressing the hidden dangers effectively.
Through education, collaboration, and continual improvement, we can ensure that Texas in solution remains at the forefront of lead and copper testing, setting an example for other regions to follow. Remember, the safety of our drinking water is not a responsibility solely of authorities but a collective effort that starts with awareness and progresses through action.
So, let's continue to explore, question, and test, ultimately paving the way for a safer and healthier future for us all.

Making Decisions In The Classroom: The Importance Of The Right Decisions
Tumblr media
Today's world has a great need for decision-makers. People are needed who have the ability to make quick decisions and in a responsible manner. It is crucial to teach your students effective decisions-making skills. Students must be aware of the importance and consequences of decision making. To learn additional information about FS D8 Dice, you've to check out roll d8 website.
Everybody is required to make decisions. But it's amazing how little information is available regarding making good decisions. This class covers the fundamentals of decision-making and most decisions are made without knowing the principles. According to estimates, half of business decisions are incorrect. If you have better decision-making abilities, the proportion of correct decisions will surely increase.
These are the five areas we will cover in this section to teach the importance of making good decisions:
Problem solving vs. decision making
The first step is to help your students understand the difference between problem solving and making decisions are two separate things. Problem solving is when you are forced to make a decision because of circumstances that are beyond your control. A decision is when you decide to allow something to happen, even though it's likely to happen at the present moment. The reason you make a decision is because you want something to happen, whereas problem solving happens when a problem is encountered.
Qualities of successful decision makers
People who are able to mix logic, problem analysis and intuition to make the right decision are called decision makers. These are the traits that good decision-makers have:
Listening skills are crucial. When making a decision, good decision-makers must be able take into consideration and listen to the opinions of others.
A clear set of priorities. As we will discuss later on in this unit, decision makers must know their values or priorities in order to choose a good or "correct" path.
Flexibility to the ideas of others. People who make good decisions are open to other people's opinions and ideas instead of being confined to the same way of thinking.
Being flexible and willing to adapt. Good decision makers are open to different methods of doing things that might be more effective.
Being realistic. Realistic decision-makers can discern the true consequences of different options.
Three of them are most important factors for making good decisions
Experience, values and common sense are the three main criteria to make a good decision.
Values-What students value will determine their behavior. Their beliefs produce attitudes, emotions create feelings, and can influence behavior.
Experienceis the best teacher. Through experience, we all learn how to make the right decisions. The experience will tell us whether a decision was right or not.
Common sense - Common sense, or what you know is an important factor in choosing one path versus another. Make use of what you know to assist you in making the best decision.
Increases value
It is vital to be able to make sound decisions. In our modern world, there is a great demand for decision makers. Your students will be more successful in their future careers and families as well as in their communities if they develop their decision-making skills.
Be positive and move forward
Decision making involves making decisions. A lot of people are scared to take decisions due to the fear that they might make a bad one. Good decision making does not require a formal educational knowledge as much as it does on common sense. Students should be taught that making good decisions is based on common sense, general knowledge, and their values.
