About Me

Hey! I’m Reid, AKA elvandara. If you knew me before 2022, no, you didn’t.

I used to be a very prolific writer for Dark and Dicey back when it was still airing, but fell out of the public fandom for a while once it ended. However, I didn’t stop liking it! For the past five years, I’ve been writing, crafting headcanons, storylines, and lore for the show that means so much to me. This is a blog to put all that!

You might be asking why, exactly, I’m making a blog centered on a Dungeons and Dragons show — that wasn’t popular to begin with — that’s been dead and unacknowledged for over five years. Here’s the truth: when I found Dark and Dicey, I was at a rough patch in my life. Like, a really rough patch. Dark and Dicey was, for a time, one of the few things that kept me alive. I’m doing much better now, but through these tumultuous five years, Dark and Dicey has been a touchstone. Inevitably, I keep coming back to it.

I don’t have #goals for this blog. I don’t anticipate getting hundreds of followers or making tons of friends. But I miss Dark and Dicey, and I’m sure other people do too. So, if you’re here...maybe hang out a while?

And, if you’re reading this, and you’re wondering what the hell Dark and Dicey is, then...well, I’m not even going to attempt to explain what a mess that D&D show was. Just watch it.

This question has been running through my mind for like a while. I have noticed you hearting and sometimes either comment or reblogging my Coraline x Violet posts and or incorrect quotes. but okay, time to answer your question!

Tbh I've never heard about this ship before I saw your works. Because, ya know, Coraline is from Laika studio and Violet is CGI girl, so ya know,,, it would be kinda difficult to do edits. Buttt! u made it work! And your edits looks actually really good! So yeah, u made me interested in that ship~

So yeaaah, u can say that I kinda ship them. If u think more about it, there are things that girls have in common. For example, they have problems with their parents, they wanted a better family, they were close to death and they saved their families at the end!

Also, they're both sassy, sarcastic and often have.. interesting comeback or remarks. Also, they are in similar age, so that's also a plus. And well- Coraline can be childish (but can also be mature sometimes) and Violet behaves like your typical teenager (but she also has her mature side).

Anyway, I think that their relationship would be interesting. Both of them are rather... complicated and they won't easily back down with things.

(okay, just realized those pics didn't let u see my point < I think that I forgot what I wanted to show you through the photos when I was looking for those photos. What a crazy day, sorry haha>, but I just meant, that they would make schemes together, judge people together. They would probably argue a lot but at the end of the day, they would be best friends and they would do anything for each other! Just... Violet and Coraline have a lot in common but they both have also strong personality, so it could be sometimes difficult. But as I said, they would make it work!)
