Here are Ballotpedia resources to know when, where, and what type of elections are being held in each state, all in one Google doc. Copy and download it for safekeeping. Voting is a way to at least get people we need in our local governments, if not presidential, please don't wait till we potentially lose the right to vote, and keep protesting while you vote. Both can exist at the same time. --- And I'd like to include a side thing about voting independent/third party for President and Congress because I know that's a thing that's come up in some circles:

While I get that there is an urge to vote 3rd/green party for congress/president because every politician fucking sucks right now, you literally cannot say one party is not worse than the other right now. Both suck horrendously, but one party literally has a fascist plan to gut U.S. citizens of their liberties to make sure we can't do anything about them at all. At this point in time, people campaigning and running for independent/third parties, especially on social media like Tiktok do not have a fucking chance right now, and most likely will not be on the ballot. And before you jump to "we can just write them in collectively!!", in case people didn't know, write-ins are not always allowed or guaranteed depending on your state, so you are literally throwing away your vote. We saw this happen in 2016, please read the writing on the wall. Historically, Green Party/third party/independents do not get chosen for President. And again, your local district and state elections—the school board, circuit court, Supreme Court, governors, mayors, Attorney General, Secretary of State, treasurer, etc.—will impact you more. Pay attention to their policies, history, who they're supporting/supported by, and their plans for your future.

While these old heads in the Democratic Party barely do the fucking bare minimum and Genocide Joe is still a problem that has everyone incensed and RIGHTFULLY so, it is asinine to even think the alternative will do anything about it, and they will definitely make everything worse for every single person inside the US (minorities getting hit first), and especially outside of the US for other countries, including the genocides that the US has their hands in right now. Let's not wait for the absolute worst scenario to do something.

This is some niche Scottish party politics posting so I’ll try and explain this to everyone who isn’t as familiar.

Scottish Labour are the branch office of the UK Labour Party in Scotland. However, due to the slightly more left-wing nature of Scottish politics - they have to toe a particular line compared to UK Labour who are shifting more and more to the right to appease the right-wing majority in England.

Scottish Land Reform is a really hot issue. The vast majority of Scotland is owned by a handful of people so it could bring about some really positive change if something was done about it.

So Scottish Labour puts something out like this knowing that it’ll speak to the vast majority of people who believe in land reform.

But how it’ll go is the Scottish government (Led by the SNP and the Scottish Greens) will move to do something about it and will pass a bill. Scottish Labour will also support it.

The Scottish Conservatives will oppose it with the backing of the UK Conservatives, and use some UK legal nonsense to block or impede it.

Scottish Labour will then withdraw their support, and then put out a load of press releases about the Scottish government and the UK government needing to work together.

Scottish Labour did this with the Deposit Return Scheme, the Gender Recognition Reform Act and for Low Emission Zones. They will 100% do it with this one.
