The Indian elephant is one of three extant recognised subspecies of the Asian elephant and native to mainland Asia and is one of the amazing creations of god. But, recently something inhumane happened in Kerela (which is one of the beautiful places of India where elephants are found). According to Environment Ministry of India, The 15-year-old elephant had consumed a coconut filled with firecrackers, which exploded in its mouth in the Silent Valley forest and died a week later in the Velliyar River on May 27. Not only this, infact 2 more elephants met with a similar tragedy- sustaining severe wounds in their mouth after they allegedly chewed fruits stuffed with explosives and died in the fringe areas of the forests in Pathanapuram, a forest officer in Kollam district informed.

Just think about how harsh and cruel WE humans have become and that too to animals who have nothing to take from us. They are just like us, a living creation on this planet and we have no right to even think about harming them. As we raise our voices for feminism, LGBT rights, etc we should not forget that they are part of our nature and if they can't raise their voice for themselves we should, rights and freedom should be given to all be it be a human or an animal, no one has a right to kill someone.
