Very old character sheet (?) I originally made for my DeviantArt account (yes I have one and no I will never go to that eleven-car pile up ever again), her name’s Inkcolour, she’s a pretty stereotypical Ocean-born.

I have made a few changes to this order in the intervening few years since I drew her, mainly the fact that they also have wings, they’re just much more like fins with really long fingers and webbing than proper wings.

In your HC, are inklings born with instinctual inkcolour-reading abilities that grow stronger over time or is it all learnt? This there any variation of colour meanings between cultures (eg. Yellow meaning joy for one inkling and disgust for another)? Has this historically ever caused big misunderstandings leading to war? Are squids liable to bullying if they cant properly colour communicate? Have other species learnt to read squids (like how dogs can read humans tone of voice etc)? Just curious

the basics for color communication are instinctual, but meanings and matching hues are learned. different countries may have different color languages, but if an inkling from, say, jellia spends enough time in atramentos, their color language will slowly shift to match the color language of everyone around them. if that same inkling went back to jellia, their language would match everyone else’s though. i think of them as something similar to accents in that regard.

most inklings are in atramentos and surrounding areas, so there aren’t enough of them across the globe to truly start a war, although i’m sure it’s created unease in political climates.

inklings that lack proper color communication would be bullied/pitied in more inkling-dense areas. if they weren’t in an inkling-dense environment, though, then i don’t think anyone would really care all that much? though, on a similar vein, albino inklings can’t color communicate or even change their ink color. they’re seen as pretty emotionless.

i view color languages as that: languages. other species have learned them, and it’s required for many political positions across the globe (sans octaria as they’re pretty anti-inkling) and just necessary for a lot of people living in atramentos due to the high inkling population there.

Anyone knows any descent Derwent Inktense Pencils Tutorial?.... that’s not speed on...and... has blending and layering technics?.... (the pencils, not the blocks )

I’m starting to draw again, and I’ve been really curious about them, but .... not used to use watercolour pencils, I’m finding really hard to manage an INKcolour pencil.....(Or may be I’m just useless....)

...( I probably I should had first to learnt who to use the basic watercolour pencils.... and then start with an Ink based pencil.............)

каждый раз, вспоминая свою жизнь, а также иногда пролистывая всякие новостные ленты, я не перестаю удивляться: насколько же наш мир погряз в насилии и безысходности. я, как человек, насмотревшись чернухи, что там что там, начинаю задаваться в такие моменты вопросом: а что если бы наш мир существовал, опираясь на совсем другую заложенную в него программу? было бы ли все хорошо, если бы все стало по-другому? или все бы было еще хуже? наверное, я так и не смогу найти ответ на этот вопрос, но... мне очень хотелось бы, чтобы именно первый вариант стал моим ответом на него, так как, когда ты погружаешься в эту зловонную хтонь все глубже, то становится очень страшно...

как и любая страшная привычка, н**комания не появляется просто так. во многих случаях, человек начинает губить себя, когда ему кажется, что в его в жизни все хуже некуда, и он ищет возможность забыть о своих проблемах. поэтому он начинает употреблять. и если алкоголь человек может найти абсолютно везде из-за его доступности, то с н**котиками все гораздо сложнее. но тем не менее, их находят и употребляют. кто-то делает их даже в домашних условиях-и сам кайфанул, и другим попробовать дал. а если получилось на этом заработать, то вообще хорошо.

нет, блин, не хорошо.

лично я ни разу не употреблял это дело, да и не буду, потому что все репортажи и документалки, которые я посмотрел по этой теме вызывали... мягко говоря, отвращение к этому всему. ты смотришь на это все и задаешься вопросом, а точно это в реальной жизни происходит или это просто, снятый на дешевую камеру, хоррор? загаженные всяким мусором квартиры, а особенно кухни в них, в которых как раз варят это все; люди с пустым, а где-то и вовсе безумным, взглядом, и телами, которые больше похожи на скелет, чем на полноценный человеческий организм; а самое худшее, что ты просто покажи им шприц с дозой, и они за него готовы сделать все, что угодно, лишь бы ты им его дал... а с одним таким "представителем" всей этой "преступной группировки" все становится гораздо хуже, чем ты можешь себе представить.

"крокодил" вполне оправдывает свое название, потому что его употребление очень явно сказывается на теле. наркотик буквально "сжирает" тебя изнутри, да так что все то, что спрятано под кожей становится видно всем окружающим. ты буквально становишься похож на тот самый макет человеческого тела, которого ты так сильно боялся в школьную пору. и не зря, потому что увидеть вживую человека, выглядящего как живое пособие по анатомии довольно страшное явление. а еще хуже осознавать то, что когда у этого человека есть еще шанс на спасение... он попросту не хочет им воспользоваться и идти дальше, вместо этого погружаясь в пучину отчаяния еще глубже, пока не потонет в ней полностью. и лишь немногие осознают весь ужас ситуации и берутся за себя, чтобы потом расцвести цветком и наконец-то увидеть греющий их свет яркого солнца...

и как раз таки из-за этого мне становится страшно за людей, ведь таковой является опасность абсолютно любой привычки, так как это злая, убивающая изнутри, медленно расползающаяся по венам зависимость, которая кажется сначала разовым явлением, но это всё обманка... а как избавиться от нее- совсем не понятно, ибо так уже это въелось внутрь тебя, до такой степени стало твоей частью, что кажется совсем невозможным делом вырвать всё это с корнем. и даже не потому что рвать вместе с ним больнее всего, а просто потому что отсутствует напрочь желание решать свои проблемы, и, как бы это банально не звучало, страх. Страх того, что иллюзии развеятся, а манямирок разрушится на больно царапающие тебя осколки. Страх того, что боль станет сильнее, если сразу резко всё прекратить. Страх того, что всё уже не будет как прежде, а будущее невозможно увидеть за густой туманной пеленой... Везде страх, страх, страх. И только он, крепко вцепившись в твоё сознание, усиливается подпитываясь тем, что осталось в твоих шкафах, после того, как там побывали скелеты. Ведь косточки-то их уже обглоданы, так а может ещё что вкусненькое в запасах лежит, а?

но в любом случае стоит помнить, что как бы не была сильна ваша боль-она преодолима. как и все проблемы и вопросы что есть на этом свете, она решается, но надо подобрать правильный метод пути исцеления от неё. и в этом точно не помогут какие-то плохие привычки, а, в первую очередь, своя сила воли, и потом уже поддержка тех, кому вы доверяете. стоит также помнить, что всегда стоит прислушиваться к своим ощущениям, и если вам плохо, то это нормально, а прятать всё в себе-это самое что ни на есть худшее решение, которое можно принять. важно выразить свои эмоции в любом доступном виде, и у всех эти виды разные. бейте посуду или что-то мягкое, кричите, плачьте, занимайтесь творчеством...главное в этом всем не доводить дело до крайностей, и всё будет хорошо. и, также, всегда стоит помнить, что обратиться за помощью даже к чужому человеку-это не стыдно, а, наоборот, это нужно для того, чтобы в дальнейшем помочь самому себе легче справляться с тем, что накопилось внутри, и потом всё, что казалось настолько пугающим будет восприниматься намного легче, чем оно воспринималось до того, а всё вопросы, связанные или похожие на беспокоящий прямо сейчас инцидент будут в дальнейшем решаться за щелчок пальцами :) уж поверьте, это того стоит. чувствуешь себя совсем по-другому.

ну и напоследок...

мне хочется пожелать абсолютно каждому кто это прочтёт удачи в борьбе с собственными демонами. это нелегко-знаю сам по себе, как человек столкнувшийся со всякими разными сортами проблем и тревог в своей жизни. но, благодаря этому опыту, я хотя бы немного понимаю, что в любом случае, рано или поздно, я найду пути решения того, что меня беспокоит. моя жизнь уже немного поменялась в лучшую сторону. того же я хочу пожелать и вам. пусть то, что беспокоит вас больше всего больше ��е будет вас мучить, а всё проблемы решат��я в лучшую для вас сторону. один раз живём в этом теле, так что счастливых моментов должно быть больше, чем печальных :)
