I drew a good boi

imagine me making concepts for that one au of mine that I keep rambling about

Speaking of gem zombies here’s the one I have as an NPC called Turquoise. They’re sufficiently taken over by the virus that they’re just a happy-go-lucky dingus wandering the desert who doesn’t freak out about slowly turning to stone. They can still talk and think to an extent but their general sensibility is deader than they are. They will rip off a gem and give it to someone if asked nicely.

Here are some drawings I did of some original characters of mine who will be a part of my series Journey. Please let me know if you guys want to see more of these characters, and don’t worry I’ll post it later this year. I just need work on The Tale of Three Flowers along with a little something later this year.

Tati Abaurres DTIYS challenge - Week 5 - Toucan

So, I decided to take part in Tati Abaurres DTIYS Challenge. I adore her clear and clean designs and was excited about the idea of drawing animals and plants over and over again for a few weeks straight and of course about the prospect of getting better at it. I also found that the toucan - the theme of this week - is a terrific animal (it’s so wonderfully strange) and just loved the reference pictures that Tati gave us: I mean, just take a look at them! They are great!
In all honesty, I don’t know exactly what happened then and why my toucan has turned out to be a Mister Toucan in a pinstripe suit, reading a toucan newspaper. But, despite the fact that he may have contributed to the bankruptcy of the Lehmann Brothers and speculated on the stock exchange market, he’s still very cute, isn’t he? So, I thought I’d share him with you guys. I hope, you’ll like him.
