Praise be to God that created two universes: one that can be seen with the naked eyes outside us which is definitely beautiful - who could deny the joy of watching the full moon, or the pleasure of beholding the orange reddish sky at dusk while the sun slowly dips itself in the sea, or the sight of gardens as they bloom at spring, or the delicacy of watching children play and laugh. But then there is another universe which God has created and this is an ocean in comparison to the earlier one. Here, one sees with the inner eyes. The endless possibilities, the infinite imaginations, the limitless visions. Oh even as I write these words, in another universe, your fingers are running through my hair. In another universe, our lips are tasting one another, savouring every inch of our bodies. In another universe, our fingers are entwined. In another universe, we are running through the streets in the middle of the night. In another universe, its a fine mid-day with clouds shading us completely and there is a cool breeze passing by the green fields and we have lied down there, next to another watching the flock of birds gliding in the sky in a certain distinct pattern. In another universe, I'm gazing deep into your eyes and I find there a thousand subtle worlds hidden, waiting to be discovered. Praise be to God then for this inner eye that can see far beyond what my physical eyes could ever capture...

Do You See What I See
Seeing with the inner eye
I’m standing on the subway platform waiting for the train. Everyone is looking at their phones. I looked at mine at home so I’m looking at the wall on the other side of the tracks. It’s a grubby brown with patches of white. No wait. Not patches, shapes. I see a green-bowered glade, blue sky beyond. There’s a couple in the foreground. The animals have gathered around. I reach for my phone to take…

Thinking about Grian switching between his "work" skin and "fishing" skin. Cause he has magnificent facial hair on his fishing skin and none on his work skin.
So either... Grian has fake facial hair he wears just for fishing, OR the much funnier option, he shaves for his job at the Permit Office, and then when he leaves, concentrates really hard and it grows back immediatly. He learned this skill from Mumbo.

The Shower
The shower is a sacred place It’s where my creativity flows Inspiration flows and blossoms And into my inner eye I go
But California is in a draught Almost every year So instead unhealthy inspirations I must turn to, for example beer

love love love love those moments where house's all seeing baby blues get misty. love when he gets super pathetic about his and wilson's friendship and how sometimes he pushes just a little too much so wilson draws a line like he can end what they have Right There as he stands without batting an eye as if that isn't one of the most devastating things you can tell house. sometimes that man just looks the most beautiful at his most vulnerable

Right so what if Danny became a psychologist instead of Jazz?
His friends and family died protecting him. So when he runs away and starts a new life, he adopts traits from all of them (both as a way of grieving and a way to honor them). For Tucker and Sam, Danny splits his free time between being a white hat hacker and a vocal environmental activist. For his parents, he adopts more of their eccentric personality. When he's not in a professional setting, he is loud and in your face about the latest thing he's been working on (he's also just about the most loyal person you can meet).
And for Jazz, his precious big sister, Danny decides to excel in the career path she never got the chance to enter. He resolves to fulfill her goal of helping out those society has deemed irredeemable. The ones nobody else can or wants to help. The first one he starts with, is the Joker.

After seeing how Shadowheart, Astarion and Gale correct you when you make a mistake while repeating the Gale resurrection steps, I can't help but imagine building any IKEA furniture with the lot of them.
Tav: *trying to build in peace*
Astarion, with the exasperation of a tired mother while holding the instruction manual: Wrong, darling. That screw goes here.
Shadowheart, sitting on the couch with a glass of wine: No, you donkey. Clockwise is in.
Mr. Let-Me-Explain-This aka Gale: Ah, come on now. You know that we use the long side of the allenkey as a handle because we get a much better grip that way. See? Doesn't that turn much easier now? The science magic behind that is actually quite fascinating, you see, since it ... *continues to explain the invention of the allenkey and its various functionalities*
