Are there drawings of Tehamin from the novel?
Yes! I don't have access to all versions of all novels so this is not going to be comprehensive, but here are some images. There are a few novel spoilers in here, though I won't go into detail about anything.
Innocentis lays eyes on Tahamenay for for first time, Book 1, illustration by Shinobu Tanno.
Tahamenay with Innocentis in one of the palace courtyards, Book 1, illustration by Yoshitaka Amano.
Seated on a wicker chair inside the glass greenhouse looking at the laleh (tulips), Book 2. As you can see, Amano's Tahamenay has black hair as is consistent with novel canon.
'The queen looked younger than her thirty-six years, or to be more precise, hers was an ageless beauty. Her raven hair, jet-black eyes, and ivory skin glimmered all the more for the jewels and silks adorning her.' (Book 1, Chapter 3, part ii)
Arslan and Tahamenay meet, Book 7. Yoshitaka Amano's work again.
I know I shared this before in the post about Layla but I'm including it here too for completion. Tahamenay jumps between Layla and Gieve in Book 12, illustration by Shinobu Tanno.
Yamada Akihiro's colour illustration of Tahamenay on the cover of Book 12. That's all I've got, though if anyone has other images to add please do so!

I say this with the utmost of affection: what a funny face, I love it.
Market ref market ref market ref
I fucking love this panel. Conveys what it needs to with 100% efficiency. Hell yeah.
*thinks about the second fall of Ecbatana*
*gets inconsolable*
Where'd he even get that? It's made of metal, right? Has to be to be able to cut through an iron bar.
Arslan is so sweet 🥹
Look at how empty the panel looks. The distance between what's supposed to be father and son. A reunion after like what, half a year? More? Either Andragoras explicitly did not allow Arslan to approach any closer or Arslan felt like he couldn't (due to perhaps years of conditioning), whichever it is it doesn't paint a good picture of their relationship.
Can you feel my blood pressure rising?
Panels featuring Isfan, Lushan, and Patius. Just because.
A father who'd just reunited with a beloved son would not be acting like this. They would perhaps spend the night catching up with each other, talking, asking about each other's experiences, just... more than this.
I feel so bad for Arslan.
And people can see it. People see it stark as day, and many are straight up dissatisfied with how Andragoras is treating Arslan.

Recently bought Arslan Senki German edition volume 15 and noticed a bonus sketch there. Earlier I've seen bonus content in the German version but not in the English ver(why?). So I decided to pre-order volumes 16 and 17 in German, and I hope volume 18 comes out too as I enjoyed the last sketch

OKAY, here’s some (spoilery) spam from the Chapter 113 raw!
Zandeh did so, so well in infiltrating the city through the underground aquaducts (he’s following a map sketched by Hilmes, btw!).
The gate is opened! Hilmes comes riding through! (That shocked Lusitanian soldier refers to him as ‘Silvermask’ shortly before getting cut down by Hilmes’s sword; he must be so fed up of being called by that name, but soon he won’t have to use it any more!)
Zandeh running alongside someone who has a horse for him! Gotta get mounted asap, you just know he wants to be by Hilmes’s side again as soon as possible!
Sam’s thoughts and expressions in this chapter make me feel so sad, though. It’s no surprise that it feels strange to him to be attacking and entering the city like this, when only 10 months ago he was defending it. Everything’s coming full circle now, isn’t it? And seeing him incite the citizens of Ecbatana to rise up and overcome the Lusitanian soldiers... Doesn’t that remind you of Lusitania’s attempt to get the slaves to revolt against their Parsian masters?
A Hilmes smile of appreciation and recognition.
ugh how GOOD it feels to see him looking happy
Also, let’s just appreciate the fact that Sam arranged for Irina to be kept safe somewhere else while all of this is going on (also liking how clear it is that the men are very respectful of her; of course they know her status but it also feels like they recognise her importance to Hilmes and what she means to him?)
Anyway, the Lusitanians get obliterated by both Team Hilmes and the people of Ecbatana, who have suffered so much under their rule. Those who collaborated with Lusitania were also killed. There are some pretty graphic scenes. Hilmes is content to watch it all happen as he feels the Lusitanians deserve it, but I can’t help but think about the role he had in bringing about the Lusitanian invasion in the first place? Imagine how those citizens would react if they found out what the man about to declare himself their ruler had done.
The banner of Kaykhusraw is raised (love Zandeh’s enthusiasm when Hilmes gives him that order! and also I didn’t realise that emblem was supposed to be Kaykhusraw’s flag until now, but it makes perfect sense!) and there’s another shot of Sam looking conflicted rather than celebrating... What’s he thinking, I wonder? Does he see trouble ahead?
Then we pay the bedridden Innocentis a visit.
Sorry, this is turning into more of a summary than anything else, oops!
The interaction was unsatisfactory, lmao. (Hilmes introduced himself and Innocentis said “Isn’t the King of Pars a man named Andragoras?”). Zandeh was waiting outside during this scene in the novel, but it’s much funnier to have him next to Hilmes here!
Hilmes doesn’t want to kill Innocentis just yet, but don’t worry, he’ll have a plan for him!
The chapter ends with Hilmes standing on the marble terrace of the palace, in front of thousands upon thousands of gathered citizens, announcing that he is here to liberate them from the Lusitanian army and proclaiming himself as the son of Osroes and the rightful king. I really wanted to see the rest of this scene where he takes off his mask but that’s it for this month!

Guiscard is scrambling trying to make something out of this, that's just so like him.
I wonder how Innocentis came to choose to use poison— because I think he did choose it himself rather than unknowingly wielding a poisoned sword to this duel— The snake on the sword could symbolize/signify the involvement of Team Zahhak in this debacle, they were watching and they hoped things would take a chaotic, bloody turn... But I don't think they were directly advising Innocentis like they were with Hilmes, perhaps they'd do it in disguise pretending to be some courtier or someone in charge of managing the armory...
If I allow my own imagination to run a little wilder, perhaps Team Zahhak has been indirectly/subtly manipulating Innocentis' dreams and stuff, feeding into his worst impulses and whatnot but I'm not sure I buy that notion myself.
Still, it's something to think about.
For timeline purposes.
This tells us a lot about Andragoras' worldview and attitude, how he glorifies and favors direct violence and valor, he's not one to utilize cunning or sneaky strategies— this is not to say he is dumb or anything like that, but there is an attitude here. I can't help but be reminded of two instances: Daryun going “What an uninspiring battle. It's just two armies smashing at each other on a plain, there's nothing His Highness can learn from this.” vs Gadhevi going “Now that's a battle worthy of a king!” in a later moment. There's a certain glamorization of huge armies and direct head-on combat going on here that I find rather interesting, while Team Arslan... doesn't really seem to be afflicted by this.
Andragoras' point here is something I can agree with, weirdly enough, because monarchs are symbols in my eyes. They must represent something— be it military might or benevolence or anything else, they must be their ideals incarnate, they must be larger-than-life.
They aren't, can't, quite be human.
It's also a big reason why Arslan refuses to take the throne in Wolfpack AU. He doesn't want to let go of the things that make him him— he is part of a culture outside of mainstream Parsian, one that has been ostracized, just like how in the novels Arslan faces criticism and dissatisfaction from some nobles after becoming king due to his lack of royal blood and unorthodox legislations and ideals, it is highly likely that Wolfpack!Arslan would be forced to gradually give up his culture in lieu of a more “proper” Parsian one if he were to agree to be king.
He can't allow himself to turn his back on them like that. Not like Kaykhusraw had.
This was a well-placed jab from Guiscard, but I unironically agree with it and Andragoras fucking should appreciate Arslan, god damn it.
Rip in pieces, Husrab. I shan't miss your slimy ass.
No commentary. Innocentis is infuriating even to me as a reader, imagine how Done™ his subjects must be!
This is a good strategy, one that ended up whooping Hilmes' ass down the line. Poor Hilmes.
Because snakes are cold-blooded animals? Ha, get it?
