Fandom: One Piece
Pairing: Vinsmoke Sanji x Chubby! Reader
WC: 5.5k
Genre: Fluff, slight Angst
Warnings: Sexual harrasment, derogatory terms for chubby people, mentions of blood, insecurities that lead to a bit of light self derogation (Please remember you're absolutely beautiful as you are <3)
A/n: The response on Hunger is insane. Over 700 likes?! I didn't expect much beyond a few 10-20 likes, thank you for all the love 😭 This is another self indulgent fic, more personal to me because I'm chubby myself so... I'm not super proud of the pacing tbh, but it's still pretty good, in my (biased) opinion, haha. I hope you enjoy it!!! ♡

When you joined the Straw Hat crew, you didn't expect to fall in love with the blonde chef.
Actually, when you joined them, you weren't in the mindset to think about love and silly crushes. Your island had been destroyed by the Marines for a 'good cause' and despite the Straw Hats' best attempt, you were the only remaining survivor. Luffy kindly offered you a place on his crew, and you joined as an assistant to Chopper, slowly learning from him.
The first few weeks after you joined were tough for you, who had never travelled outside of your island. It took time to get used to the environmental changes along with the emotional grief of losing all your loved ones. The crew tried their best to cheer you up in their own ways, and you would forever be grateful for every one of them for at least trying, even if their methods weren't the most effective for you. It was the thought and the sentiment behind it that counted.
But what did work for you was… food. Ever since you were a child, you had loved food and it was the way you connected to life. Though you were not the greatest cook out there, you were capable of making things that were edible and quite good at times. On the ship though, you never had to cook, because Sanji would always do all the cooking. Whenever you offered to help, to take your mind off the pain you were feeling, he would kindly decline, saying that he would make you whatever you wanted.
But he couldn't. The dishes from your island were not recipes known quite to the rest of the world. Hell, even you didn't know all of them, save for some of your favourite foods that you had learnt from your mother. So you snuck in after dinner and made a dish from your hometown. It wasn't the best food you ever cooked, but it still meant something to you, because you were reminded of home.
You wrote down all the recipes you knew into a book, and kept it close. Whenever you missed your home, you would sneak into the kitchen at night and make yourself something with your wonky cooking skills that made the dish taste different every time. Still, the familiarity was enough to comfort you and let you wallow in the grief at the same time.
Until one day, you couldn't find your book.
"Nami?" You called unsurely to the navigator, who was lying on the deck under shade next to Robin. Behind them, Sanji was serving drinks. The three looked at you in question and suddenly under the scrutiny, your confidence faltered. "Um, uh.. d- did you see a journal somewhere? I can't find mine…"
"The brown one?" She asked, pushing her sunglasses up into her hair. You nodded frantically, hoping she knew. "I don't think I did. Did you check under your bed?"
"I did," you whispered, feeling the sadness wash over you again. It's not like you didn't still remember the recipes, but your memory wasn't the best. Without the book, it would be hard to remember them all.
"Don't worry, we'll find it," Nami got up and reassured you, looking concerned. "Sanji. Robin."
The two of them nodded along and then the four of you were searching for it everywhere, until Sanji had to excuse himself apologetically because he had to go cook lunch. You could only nod, trying not to get down in the dumps again over a book, but it felt a little hopeless. Until you heard Sanji shout from the kitchen. The three of you ran over to find him scolding Luffy, your journal in his hand.
"I just wanted to see what was in it!" Luffy pouted, his rubbery hands swinging around to try and get it back.
"That's an invasion of privacy, Luffy!" Sanji looked angry, but you were too relieved about the fact that you had found the book to get upset with Luffy.
"It's okay," you said, reaching forward to get the book. "It's just… recipes, Luffy. From my hometown."
There was silence in the kitchen for a few seconds and Luffy's face dropped into a serious look.
"I'm sorry," he said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "I thought… If I knew how to help you, you'd be happier."
It made you laugh softly, your heart warm at his kind intentions.
"Thank you, Captain," you smiled at him, eyes crinkling into crescent moons. "I am happy here. I just… miss my home, sometimes."
He wrapped you into a hug and Nami ruffled your hair a little. You smiled under the attention, holding the book close. Sanji for once was quiet, just staring at the book thoughtfully, though you didn't notice it then.
A few days after that event, Sanji called you to the kitchen before lunchtime. Curiously, you followed him to find… a plate of your favourite dish from your hometown. It was plated beautifully, making it look fancy and yet it still had that homey feeling to it. Sanji didn't say a word, just held out the chair for you to sit. You sat down in a daze, too focused on the smell of it lingering in the room.
It smelled like home.
And when you tasted it, you burst into tears. Because it tasted like home. It tasted exactly like your mom's. All the tears you had held back to not worry the crew were now spilling out without any end but you didn't care. Here, where only Sanji could see you, you let it all out. He didn't say anything, just placed a gentle hand on your shoulder and squeezed to let you know he's there for you. You turned around to face him, but the tears made it all blurry. Knocking your head against his stomach, you cried harder.
Sanji just held your head, carding fingers through your hair in comfort, offering you a handkerchief. That, you realised later, was the moment your feelings for Sanji began.
After that day, you became a lot happier. Somehow, without words, just eating the food that Sanji made was enough to heal your broken heart bit by bit. Sometimes, he made extra because Luffy was curious and wanted to taste it too; and then the whole crew wanted it so Sanji made a few of your dishes for dinner. In that moment, surrounded by the smell of home, around your new family, your heart finally started healing.
You started noticing Sanji everywhere after you got used to life on the Thousand Sunny. From the small things he does, to the loud expressions of love he made, everything about him seemed wonderful and warm to you. Because you knew that beneath his overt affections for all the ladies, he was an infinitely kind, caring and observant person. How were you supposed to not fall for him, when he went above and beyond for you?
And yet, for all his admissions of love, you never believed that he could truly like you back like you felt for him. You were after all, not the prettiest girl around and you knew that. You were not slim like Nami or Robin, and it's not like you absolutely hated your soft and squishy body. But you wondered if Sanji would like you even though you weren't pretty.
All that self consciousness went out the window every time you were in his presence. He never made you feel less, or ugly– in fact, the way he spoke to you always left you a blushing mess. He made you feel special, and in the moment, it would be enough. Until you saw him fawning over Nami or Robin, and then the sneaky voice in your brain would whisper quiet thoughts comparing you to them. You had no chance with him, and you knew that.
And that was fine. You could live with that, couldn't you? You had to, because wanting more than you should never ended well. All it would leave behind is rejection, hurt and awkwardness. So you pressed down the feelings and acted as normally as you could.
The moment you realised that you loved Sanji was probably a memory you would never forget. Although it was unforgettable for you, it probably wasn't particularly that unique to others. That didn't matter to you because it was a memory you cherished ultimately.
It happened when the ship docked on a peaceful little island. Everyone else was going out to enjoy their time, and you wanted to spend that time with Sanji. So, casually, you made your request.
"Sanji?" Your timid utterance of his name got an instant reaction from the chef, who straightened up and looked at you with hearts in his eyes.
"Yes, (y/n)-chan?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.
"Um, you're gonna go grocery shopping, right?" You had seen Nami complaining while handing him the money for the shopping.
"That's right," he leaned closer, almost too close but not quite into your personal bubble. Still, the proximity was enough for you to smell the mild smell of his perfume that left you a little weak in the knees. "Did you want me to get something for you, sweetheart?"
"I just," you hesitated, suddenly scared that he might realise your feelings and get disgusted. No, Sanji wasn't like that, you had to remind yourself. He would never treat you unkindly, even if he knew your feelings. "I heard you always do it alone. I thought you might enjoy some company?"
The hearts in Sanji's eyes disappeared as he stared at you like you were speaking gibberish for a few seconds. Under the intensity of that stare, you fidgeted and waited for his response.
"You're too kind, (y/n)-chan!" He finally cried, holding up your hands in his own bigger and colder ones. You flushed at the action, stammering out an actual gibberish response this time before you were whisked away by the blonde chef to town.
It felt all too much like a date to you, when you walked next to him. Sanji somehow made grocery shopping fun, or maybe that was just because of how much you liked him that anything with him was enjoyable? It didn't matter, you decided, because whichever it was, you couldn't deny that Sanji was equivalent to the sun on a cold day.
He enthusiastically showed you around, as if you were a tourist and he were a guide (when in fact, it was the first time in this town for both of you) causing you to giggle. Whenever you stopped to buy things, he would humour your curious questions on how to pick which vegetable and what cuts of which meat are the best. It felt awfully like a domestic date, one that made you smile when you imagined doing this with Sanji years down the line every week.
"And that's the last of it!" Sanji said happily, picking up the last bag. He was holding all the bags since the start, despite your insistence and now you were anxious, seeing him hold so many bags in his hands.
"Sanji, let me hold a few," you tried again, hands reaching out to take some of them. But Sanji just turned around so you couldn't reach the bags and grinned down at you.
"Nonsense, how could I let such a delicate lady hold such heavy bags?" His words made you flush in embarrassment. You were not delicate in any sense; surely, Sanji knew that too. And in spite of all his sincerity, the word just felt like it was mocking you.
"I'm… not…," you struggled to say, not wanting to argue but unable to keep it in either. With your chubby frame, no one had ever considered you as delicate.
"Let me do this for you, my love," Sanji's voice was soft and infinitely gentle, as if he was indeed holding something fragile in his hands. "I wouldn't feel good letting you carry anything when I'm more than capable."
"But Sanji!" you lightly whined, wringing your hands. "I don't feel good letting you carry all the burden either! Come on, just a few bags?"
Before Sanji could respond, you heard a scared squeak. Your brows furrowed and you looked around the marketplace, finding a man cornering a girl a few feet behind Sanji. She seemed uncomfortable and he was all in her personal space, saying something in a rough, sleazy voice that gave you shivers.
You were not a fighter, but the instinct to protect her overtook the rational part of your brain and you crossed the distance to where they were. Pushing him back, you stood in front of the girl to block her from him.
"Can't you see she's uncomfortable?" You said coldly. "Back off."
The man took an involuntary step back until his eyes fell on you. He reeked of alcohol and smoke and you felt like puking from the putrid stench coming off him but you held it together, trying to come off as more confident than you felt. His eyes roamed over your body shamelessly, and you felt dirty and uncomfortable from the action.
"Don't get in our business, fatty," he grinned, the smell of alcohol doubling the moment he opened his mouth. "Are you jealous that no one will ever give you the attention she's getting?"
The words stabbed you in the gut, even though you knew rationally that you were better off without the bad attention. That was the one perk of being conventionally average in looks– no one really looked at you, in good ways or bad. Or maybe you had just been lucky so far. But hearing him call you that, saying those words, even from someone like him, it hurt a small part of you. Before you could respond, a leg in black slacks came up and kicked the man down with such a force that everybody around paused, shocked by the sudden action.
Even you stepped back automatically, gasping when you saw that it was Sanji, still balancing all the bags perfectly while he had roundhouse kicked the man into the ground with so much force that you could see his teeth had become bloody and he was on the verge of unconsciousness.
"(Y/n)-chan doesn't need the attention of sewer rats like you," he said calmly, straightening back into position smoothly. "Her beauty only deserves the best of the best."
The sight of Sanji saying that with a calm face, his hair slightly tousled, his hands balancing the bags and his leg muscles rippling under the slacks – that image was imprinted in your heart and brain for the rest of your life. The words sent you into a shock, but when they finally processed, you couldn't deny the overwhelming realisation that crashed into you.
You love Sanji.
It wasn't just a silly crush, or something that could go away if you gave it time. The chef had unknowingly carved himself a place into your heart. He was taking over it, chamber by chamber.
"Sanji…" The word came out as a whisper, inaudible under the din of the market as people were talking about what was going on. You snapped out of it when you felt the girl behind you shuffle and you immediately squashed your thoughts down to examine them later. You turned around and asked her, "Are you okay?"
She looked very alarmed and upset, but she still shot you a grateful smile as she murmured, "Yes, thanks to you two."
"He didn't hurt you?" You asked, hands hovering over her as you looked to ensure if she was safe. A peek of crimson caught your eye when she raised her hand to rub her face. Her elbows had scraped against the rough brick wall in his tousling. "You have some scratches!"
"Oh," she turned her arms to look at the wounds, now feeling the burn after the adrenaline and fear response was receding.
"Come on, I'll treat it for you," you offered, opening your sling bag which had some emergency first aid. You usually carried it around for the members when you were off the ship, knowing that they were all too reckless to give a second thought to any wounds.
"Oh, no, no, I couldn't trouble you more!" She said, mortified but you gently shook your head, offering her a hand.
"It's no trouble," you reassured her. It took a little bit of convincing but she eventually calmed down and let you clean up the wound before you parted. Finally, you allowed yourself to look at Sanji, who immediately schooled his features so you wouldn't see the warm adoring look he was giving you the whole time. "Sanji… Are you okay too? You didn't hurt yourself, did you?"
"Do you think I'm that weak, sweetheart?" He smiled teasingly, but you felt the need to defend yourself.
"I know you are strong," you insisted, worrying your lower lip as you tried to look him straight in the eyes but kept getting flustered. "But even strong people get wounds. Just because they are strong, doesn't mean that they don't feel the pain. So tell me honestly, Sanji. Are you hurt anywhere?'
"No," he promised. "But if you're that worried, I'll let you check me all out back on the ship."
He ended that with a wink, and this time, you couldn't hold back the flush threatening to overtake your face again. Sanji couldn't help making the mood light again, but he had no idea of the effect his words had on you.
"Stupid," you weakly pawed at his arm, walking away before he could say anything. The blonde chef just laughed and followed you, face once again soft and fond as he watched you.
Sanji may have been one of the only people onboard who was oblivious to your feelings, because a few of them did figure it out after watching the way you interacted with him. The first ones to realise were Nami and Robin, who called you out on it when the three of you were lying under the shade on the sunny deck.
"Really?" Nami had scrunched her nose, eyes critically analysing Sanji as he walked (danced, really) back to the kitchens after serving drinks to the three of you.
"Really what?" You asked, too busy sipping the cool drink to notice that she had noticed the way you had warmly thanked Sanji and given him a bright smile.
"Sanji?" Nami gave you a pointed look. The name made you freeze, and you tried to play it off.
"What about him?"
"Oh, come on!" Nami threw the slice of lemon that was on her drink. You caught it before it could fall on your shirt and muttered an indignant 'hey!' that the navigator ignored. "You like him, don't you?"
The words were enough to make you hide your face in embarrassment. Robin was smiling knowingly from the other side of Nami and you felt exposed, like they had both just turned you inside out.
"I do," you whispered after the few minutes of silent mortification that Nami had spent in self satisfaction.
"Why that loser though?" She said without any real bite. You knew she wasn't actually demeaning him; it was affectionate, in the way one would talk about their sibling's lovelife.
"Because!" You whispered, eyes running everywhere to check if no one else was around to hear you. "Have you looked at him? He's literally so pretty! He is kind, caring, and so, so thoughtful and generous. Without expecting anything in return, he is always giving and giving and he makes my stomach do silly things. He has curly eyebrows, Nami! I didn't think those could look good on anyone. Hell, I know I would look ugly with them, but he makes it work! It suits him, and he's so beautiful and I'm just–"
You collapsed onto your chair, your wet fingers from the condensation on the drink glass finding purchase in the dips of your face to hide it. Just talking about him was enough to get your heart beating fast, and the mortification of what you had just spilled to the two girls made you want the ground to swallow you already.
"You really like him," Robin's soft observation made you relax. She wasn't teasing you. You turned to look at her and caught the comforting smile she was sending your way.
"I was going to say you could do better," Nami turned to face you, swinging her feet around to your side, "but after hearing all that, I think… You two are perfect for each other. Despite all his antics, he has a good heart. And you'll be good for him, because you see him as he is."
"Yeah?" You couldn't help the small flower of hope blossoming in your chest.
"Really," Nami smiled, a rare genuine smile that was usually reserved for late night talks and reassurances in down times.
"You don't think…." You trailed off, fidgeting with the hem of your top, "he won't… find me good enough?"
"Are you crazy?" Nami snorted, picking up her drink. The melted ice had made the level go up so much that it was threatening to spill any moment. "You're better than anything he could dream of. I told you, didn't I? You would be good for him. Having someone like you in his life to ground him, I think there's nothing better than that. You're one of the sweetest people I have ever met. If anyone here isn't good enough, it's him."
"Hey now," you frowned, ready to defend Sanji but hearing his voice stopped you.
"Who isn't good enough for (y/n)-chan?" His face was stuck in a weird smile, like he was forcing it. He carefully placed the plate of pastries he had brought as he continued casually despite the silence, "I don't know who we are talking about but Nami-chan is right. No one is good enough for our lovely (y/n)-chan."
"Oh, look at that!" You hurriedly switched the topic, looking at the plate he had brought. The tiny pastries were adorable and colourful, looking so delicious that it would have made your mouth water if you weren't distracted at the moment. "This looks so good, Sanji. Seriously, if you keep feeding me like this, my weight will keep increasing!"
The last line became a teasing complaint, but you didn't expect Sanji to come to the side of your chair and lean down to where you were tilted. The proximity caused your eyes to widen, the blood thundering in your ears as he carefully tucked in a stray strand of your hair behind your ear, face so soft and warm that it make your insides feel like they were vibrating.
"All the more for me to love, so I would keep winning, wouldn't I, sweetheart?"
You choked, and the need to get away from him before you did something wild like grab him and kiss him got so much that your knee accidentally shot up and into Sanji's back, pushing him forward. The chef's eyes widened at the sudden attack, but he managed to not collapse on you by quickly holding onto the sides of the chair but now you were trapped in between his arms on top of the close proximity.
It made you so weak in the knees, and there was something hot and warm curling in your gut as you stammered gibberish, feeling like you were about to faint because Sanji's chest was practically touching yours and it was all too much.
"SORRY!" He hurriedly backed off the moment he got his bearings, and for the first time since you had come onboard, you saw him have a genuinely heavily flushed face. There was a little blood starting to leak from one of his nostrils and somehow, it helped you calm down. He was just as affected as you were. The idea was enough to lessen your embarrassment by a little.
"I'm the one who's sorry, Sanji," you said remorsefully, hiding your face completely in your hands this time. "I kicked you!"
"It wasn't on purpose," he said, right hand coming up to hide the blush on his own face. "I'm sorry for… for making you uncomfortable, (y/n)-chan!"
Uncomfortable? Did Sanji have any clue just how comfortable you actually felt? The problem wasn't that you were uncomfortable in the proximity; it was that you were too comfortable, to the point that you never wanted to leave. But that would be a dead giveaway of your feelings, right?
"Okay, this is just painful to watch now," Nami sighed, jolting the two of you. You had nearly forgotten that she and Robin were right there, and they had seen everything. She looked at you unhappily, mouth set in a tight line. "How about you two get a room and make out there?"
"Nami!" You cried out. She really just gave away your crush like that?!
"Just be grateful I'm not demanding money to make up for what I just had to witness," she sniffed haughtily, swinging her legs back onto the chair and pulling down her sunglasses. "Seriously, you two, go talk shit out. Or else, knowing you, you will just be awkward around each other and that's gonna be even more painful to watch."
She wasn't totally wrong. You were planning to avoid him, possibly by jumping off the Sunny and drowning to death since you didn't know how to swim. But that wasn't really a solution and even you could admit that.
"W- What's there to talk-?" Sanji seemed a little scared, wide eyes glancing between the three of you. Nami ignored him, and you were too flustered to look him in the eyes. Nami's suggestion was essentially for you to come clean, wasn't it? But that was easier said than done. The fear of rejection and the eventual awkwardness was gripping your insides in a chokehold, and you couldn't move your feet even if you tried.
"Sanji," Robin said calmly. "Pick up (y/n) and go to the kitchen."
"Huh?" You were startled at her words. Pick you up?! No way! "No, no way, I'm too… I'm too heavy, there's no need for that!" Even as you said that, you couldn't actually bring yourself to move.
"I don't really get it," Sanji admitted, looking between the three of you as he spoke, "but I can do that. (Y/n)-chan?"
"No, Sanji–" the protests died down the moment he bent down and picked you up like you weighed nothing. Even as he walked you across the deck, you couldn't help but think that it was kind of hot just how easily he picked you up. "Sanji…"
He didn't look at you until you were in the kitchen and the door was closed behind the two of you. He walked over to the table and then carefully placed you on it, as if you were a teacup made of fine china teetering with tea. Finally, he let his clear blue eyes stare down at you, the expression on his face more vulnerable and exposed than you had ever seen on him.
"Sanji?"
"I know I made you uncomfortable," he said quietly, backing away. His hands came up to rub away the blood but it only made it spread around and you winced at seeing that. You never wanted to see any blood on Sanji, if you could help it. "I touched your… you. It wasn't my intention, I swear! I just, I wanted, I–"
He abruptly shut up, looking frustrated with himself.
"Sanji."
He didn't look up, fists clenching at his side the moment you said his name.
"Come here, Sanji," you whispered, holding out your hands to beckon him closer. His eyes flickered over your face, as if trying to gauge out what you were feeling, even as he followed through your request without a second thought. You pulled out the handkerchief he had given you long back, and wiped away the blood over his upper lip and cheeks carefully before you picked up his hand. The thumb was bloody too, so you gently held the limb in one of your hands and wiped it with the other. "You didn't make me uncomfortable, Sanji."
He stayed quiet as you continued to wipe it until it was all gone.
"Didn't I?" He said the moment you were done.
"No," you said, looking up at him. You didn't let go of the hand, though you dropped the handkerchief beside you. Somehow, holding his hand seemed to give you the courage to make the admission Nami had told you to. "I… Sanji, I like you. A lot more than I ever thought it was possible to feel towards someone. I like you so much that it physically hurts when I see you flirting with other women. I like you so much that my heart feels warm whenever you are around, and I feel so safe in your arms that I never want to leave. I like it when you are close to me. But I know that you don't like me like that, so whenever you get so close, and I can't help but want you so much, it's painful for me. I never want to let you go."
Sanji's eyes darkened with every word you spoke, a gradual change that you didn't notice at first because you were all in over your head. His hands hovered around your waist as you finished.
"Who told you?" His voice was a little hoarse, and he cleared his throat the moment he realised how desperate he sounded.
"Told me what?" You asked timidly, looking down at your lap.
"That I don't like you?" Sanji's voice was a broken whisper like yours had been. "I have never heard anything more untrue than that. All this time, I wanted you but I kept my feelings to myself. Because you deserve so much, so much more than I am, so much more than I can give. I wanted and I wanted and I felt so greedy, wanting more and more of you, more than you would let me have– I wanted anything you were ready to give, and I also wanted everything you have to give. I thought you wouldn't want someone like me, when there are so many better options around for you–"
"What?" You couldn't help but laugh. All his words were making you delirious; this had to be some wild dream you had conjured up. It didn't feel real. None of it did. "I had better options around? Sanji, I was so sure you would never look twice at me! I never felt like I was pretty enough, or good enough to get your attention and you're telling me… I had better options? That's so–"
You kept laughing, body shaking from the weight of the laughter. Sanji stared at you, unsure hands still hovering around you. His fingers twitched from holding back the urge to pull you into him.
"You are the prettiest girl I have ever seen," he mumbled. "Not good enough to get my attention? Darling, you have had all of my attention ever since I met you. No other woman could compare to you from the moment you made your place in my heart known."
"Did I really have all your attention?" You asked, letting your insecurities bubble up. Now that you were both being honest, it was better to get it all out of the way, right? "Even when you looked at the other women…"
"I never looked at them the way I did you," his words were sincere, and in that moment, they were enough. You looked up at him, and your body broke into shivers the moment you realised the heat in his eyes as he stared down at you; like you were some unique dish he was finally getting the chance to eat after years of craving it.
"I didn't want the other options, Sanji," you whispered, the volume enough for the proximity you were in. "The only one I ever wanted was you."
You held his collars and pulled him in, and it was like he finally snapped, now that he had permission. His hands immediately grasped at your sides, gently holding the soft flesh there as he kissed you. And now it was your time to give and give, while he took from you like your lips were spilling with ambrosia and he was determined to get every drop. His warm breath fanned over your lips and the goosebumps on your skin rose again, your fingers tightening around the collars of his shirt.
When he let your lips go, he was greeted with the sight of your flushed and pleasantly buzzed expression, like you were drunk on him. Seeing you like that, because of him, it was enough to get him groaning.
"So beautiful," he whispered, leaving feather light kisses all over your face. "So gorgeous. All for me. All… for me to have?"
"Yeah," you whispered, looking up at him and seeing the devastated yet over-the-moon expression on Sanji's face. Even without words, he could always just cleave into your heart and press himself within its walls like they were made to fit him, and only him. "You can be greedy. Take all you want. I'm all yours."

Insecurities…
warnings: problems with body image; angst; caring!boyfriend!eddie (the sweetest guy in the world); fluff; he makes sure you understand that he doesn’t care how your body looks, you’ll always be the prettiest girl he has ever seen.
that’s a bit short i know. but i had this draft for a while and i wanted to post it. i just love the idea of eddie comforting the reader. at least i genuinely think that he would always try his best to make you feel better if you’re not or make you laugh when you need to. HE IS THE BEST!!!
******
“Sweetheart, are you still doing you makeup thing? Because if you’re ready, we have to leave.” He knocked on the door hoping he was not using a tone that seemed like he was rushing you. He knew better. You were in your house, getting ready to go to one of the famous Steve Harrington’s parties.
You were in your room for hours, at least that’s how Eddie felt. He wasn’t the most patient person ever, but you were taking too long. Longer then you normally take. Little Eddie knew that you were sobbing in front of the mirror for 20 minutes by now. You tried your hardest not to cry. That seemed only to make things worse. Now you were miserable, mascara all over your cheeks, red eyes and nose, freaking out. Fuck! What were you supposed to do. You forgot that you also had to deal with your boyfriend. So you cleared your throat, trying to sound chill so he could just give you a minute.
“Hey Ed, just give me a minute ‘kay? i’m almost done-“ You were cleaning your face when he cut you, opening the door to your room. “Eddie!”
“What happened?” How did he knew? you thought to yourself. Like he read your mind, he answered “i heard your crying voice. Do you need something, baby?”
“No sweetie, i just-“ You looked at you reflection in the mirror again. He gave this dress to you as a valentine’s present. According to him, he wanted to see you even more hot. The dress was extremely pretty. It was a dark green dress, tight on the waist. But for some stupid reason, you thought you looked… not extremely pretty in it. “Do you think i look too fat in this?”
“Babe, why would you even say that?” He looked concerned when your eyes locked with his and the tears started to stream down again. “No no no, i’m so sorry i said that. I meant like, you’re not fat, not at all.”
He opened his arms welcoming you to a tight hug. He knew that sometimes you would compare yourself to models and singers you liked. Or even the Hawkins High Cheerleaders. And they were all very skinny. Eddie was pretty sure that some girls of the last group didn’t even eat right. But he could not stand that you couldn’t see yourself the way he did. To him, of course you were so much more than your body, but if he was talking body, you were the whole package. Always kind to the ones you loved, funny, making him laugh so much sometimes, he would have to pee, AND your sexy smokin’ hot body.
“You know me angel, i would never care only with your body. I’m not dating you because of your body” He separated from your hug to wipe your tears and placed his hand on your cheek. “I love you, this person inside here” he placed the other hand right up your heart. “And really, I, Edward Munson, think you are perfect, inside and outside. And i know i can’t make you just forget about this angst your feeling right now, but i need you to know that. That you are beautiful. And still, you have so much more. Honestly lady, i could keep going for hours.” seeing you smile at him, made him feel a bit better. He hated seeing you sad about this shit.
“Can i kiss you?” He asked. You were sensitive and he didn’t want to push things
“Of course you can.”
You always loved the way he made you feel safe. His arms around you and his soft lips pressing into yours, kissing you so tenderly. It almost felt like you were never sad.
“I’m sorry-“ You whispered, still close to his lips, caressing his chest but he kissed you again.
“Don’t say sorry for feeling things. I just hope you’re feeling better. If you don’t want to go to the party anymore that’s totally fine too!”
“No! I want to go. Just give a minute to fix this mess” You pointed to your face and started to clean it with a tissue. He was smiling at you now, sitting on your bed, he whispered to himself “That’s my girl”.
In 5 minutes you were ready. Eddie was a little scared by the way you made it look like you never cried.
“I’m better now, thanks Eddie. What would i do without you?” You took his hand in yours, ready to leave the room.
“Oh please baby, that’s what you deserve. I only work with princess treatment here. Now turn around, let me see you.” Giggling a bit, you did as he said “Yeah, we’re good to go, my love. After you” He gave you the space to leave the room first, extending his arm dramatically.
“I love you so much!” It was the only thing you could say now.
“And i love you more!”

───♡────────♡──── ♡ Pretty (Jennifer Check x Insecure Reader -Fluff-)  ───♡────────♡────
Tumblr media
You feel insecure about your looks and tell Jennifer.
Light swearing. 363 Words.
♡⁺. ༶ ⋆˙⊹_. ༶ ⋆˙⊹⁺♡
Wednesday, you decided to spend the night at your girlfriend Jennifer's house. Some generic boy-band-pop music was playing in the background as you two conversed about whatever popped in your heads.
You were sitting on Jennifer's pink bed, watching as she twirled in the mirror. She curled her hair and was admiring her new look.
"I could be on the runway for Victoria's Secret, like one of those angel chicks" she said posing.
"Tell me something I don't know" you laugh, and she laughs with you.
The music continued to play filling the otherwise now silent air.
You stared at her, how her body had curves and seemingly in the right places, her nails pristinely manicured and polished. Her healthy hair flowing with a smile so vibrant. She was confident. She was perfect. She was pretty.
"God, I wish I was pretty like you."
She pauses her movements and turns to you before saying, "What? You are, like, crazy fucking pretty, (Y/n/n), what are you talking about?"
"Ugh, you're just saying that because you're my girlfriend" you say playfully tossing a pillow at her.
She caught the pillow before scoffing and tossing it back.
"(Y/n/n), you know I wouldn't say things to you if I didn't mean it, Babe. C'mere." She grabs you by the hand and leads you to the mirror standing beside but a little behind you.
"Your eyes are one of the first things I noticed when I first met you, how unique and pretty they were...especially when they were on me"
You playfully roll your eyes and start to smile.
''And your hairr," she plays with your hair before going on "you pull it off so well you look extra salty". She grins on 'well' and then looks at you directly.
"You know how many people would absolutely kill to have your body?"
You raise your eyebrows and say, "That weird band who got arrested for attempted murder comes to mind."
"Yeah, well, for you, I'd kill those wannabe Green Day rejects."
She hugs you from behind and puts her head on your shoulder before calling you her new nickname for you, "Pretty".

Bare
Alastor x Reader (fluff/comfort)
TW: body dysmorphia, insecure reader, alastor ooc but hes a cutie pie so its ok really (coping)
join my discord!
◈ ══════════ ◈ ══════════ ◈ ══════════ ◈
You purse your lips at your bare reflection, turning this way and that to peer at the different angles of your body and its curves. The expression on your face turned into a frown as your eyes trailed over the stripes that decorated the conjunction of your stomach and thighs, evidence of the weight you had gained over the last year.
The atmosphere was all too uncomfortable, which only made you feel worse. A mediocre shower had left your hair damp and skin cold, and the light breeze that wafted from your slightly cracked window chilled you. Your towel was lying, discarded, by your feet, but you had become too engrossed in looking at yourself in the body length mirror to really take note of the goosebumps that pricked up your arms.
You looked away from the mirror and down at your legs, lifting and twisting one to get a better look at your thighs. You sighed at the sight. You thought you might cry, but you didn't want to cry—
“Cher,” A familiar voice made you jump to attention, head whipping up and almost knocking against the chin of the culprit had he not placed his hand in the way to halt your motion. “We don’t want to catch a cold now, do we?” His voice was uncharacteristically low, and it lacked the usual intonation of static.
You met Alastor’s red gaze through the mirror as he stood behind you, bent slightly so his head was level with yours. You were embarrassed, standing here naked in front of the Radio Demon, but you were frozen in place. His hands rested gingerly against your shoulders, trailing up and down your arms, slow and gentle.
You fought back the urge to shove him away when his hands strayed from your arms, traveling under them and wrapping over your stomach. You swallowed. Tears started to blur your vision as numerous racing ideas filled your mind, casting doubt on the genuine nature of Alastor’s affections. You paused mentally when you felt another light touch of his lips against your cheek.
You didn’t blink, worried that a tear may slip down and concern the demon behind you. You caught his gaze again in the mirror and he stood silently for a moment, studying your expression. You knew your eyes looked glassy and your lips were pressed tightly in a thin line, but you prayed to God—ironically enough—that he wouldn’t notice. His brows knit, creating a slight crease on his forehead, and you timidly stood there wringing your hands together. You felt so vulnerable, so scrutinized, because why else would he be staring at you so intently if it wasn’t to judge your bared body?
“What a sight,” He said suddenly, promptly placing a featherlight kiss on the crook of your neck. “How lucky is a man to have you all to himself?” He eyed your face and your body, but his gaze lacked the typical glare of lust and hunger that you would expect from a man. Instead, they only conveyed some tender, unspoken feelings of affection for you. As strange as it was to see such a look on Alastor, you had grown accustomed and welcoming of it.
There was still doubt in your mind, but you knew to trust the gentle words he spoke to the best of your ability. Alastor was full of lies and manipulation, but he was different behind the doors of your shared room. You knew a side of him that was, for him, as equally vulnerable as you were currently. So, though there was still a part of you that fought against the idea of him loving you despite what you found in yourself to be so ugly, you allowed the reassurance of his touch and words to calm your mind.
“Now,” He said, standing up straight once more. He gingerly picked up the damp towel by your feet, contemplated it for a moment, and then vanished it in a dark plume of inky smoke. “Let’s get you something warm.”
He lightly placed his hand by your shoulder blade, pushing you with the lightest pressure to maneuver you away from the mirror. You cast one last look at yourself out of the corner of your eye, but noticed he was still watching you. You quickly looked away with an awkward, breathless laugh. He pulled you closer to himself as he walked you towards the bed. With a gentle shove from Alastor, you sat lightly on the edge of the mattress, bouncing your leg as you watched him cross the room.
He hummed as he sifted through the closet of your room, a finger on his chin as he looked too concerned about picking out pajamas. You figured he was just trying to be silly to lighten your mood, and you appreciated it. Plus, you had to admit to yourself, seeing him look so serious at a bunch of old, oversized shirts did cheer you up.
He returned after a moment with a simple red top and fuzzy black pants. He motioned his finger to prompt you to lift your arms, which had subconsciously come to rest over your stomach. You obeyed, albeit with some hesitance, and bit your lip as you lifted your arms from their protective position.
“You know,” He spoke as he aided you in pulling your arms and head through the shirt. He paused his words for a moment to shake out the pants so the fabric was straightened, and then he continued. “If the Gods were to exist, I’d say your beauty would make them rather jealous. I don’t think art even portrays them quite as enchanting.”
“Oh, you flatter me,” You said with a light eye roll and a too-sarcastic tone in your voice that you immediately regretted. He didn’t seem to mind, though.
“Oh, but it’s true!” He argued back with a light smile. He tenderly lifted one of your legs and slipped the fabric of the fuzzy pajamas over, and followed suit with your other leg. You lifted yourself up with your hands so he could slip the waist over your hips.
He stood, looking down at you for a moment, again just analyzing you. It was easier to feel more comfortable under his gaze—as comfortable as anyone could possibly be with Alastor looking at them so intently—when you were clothed.
He ruffled your hair, accompanying the movement with a pleased hum, before turning and beginning to change himself. You shuffled yourself up the bed, resting your back against the headboard as you carefully watched him.
His coat came off first, slipping down his shoulders and hung carefully in the closet. Your eyes were immediately drawn to the fluffy red tail that flicked as the cold air breezed through the fur. You made a mental note to ask to pet it later—maybe he would let you if you told him it would make you feel better. He then pulled at the hem of his undershirt, tugging it up and over his head and then down his arms. His hair tumbled down in soft locks from the neckline as he popped his head from the shirt.
God, how embarrassing you probably looked right now, watching Alastor undress in front of you with the sickest, lovestruck eyes. If you were a drawing, there would probably be hearts floating all over your head right now.
He bent at the hip slightly to rustle through a drawer of his own night shirts, and you watched the edges of his shoulder blades and the slight curvature of his lean muscles shift and contort under his pale skin with every move he made. Your eyes traveled up and down his back, drawing mental images with the lines of scars that marred his otherwise smooth flesh.
Heat flushed your cheeks when he turned his head slightly, looking at you through the corner of his eyes, catching you ogling him. His grin only grew wider, though, before he finally threw on a loose shirt. What a tease.
He made quick work of his pants, replacing them with some comfortable sweats that looked almost alien on him, considering his usual attire. He joined you in the bed, his body creating a sizable dip in the mattress that made you fall against him. His arm snaked behind your back, coming to cup you at the curves of your waist and pulling you closer. He pressed a kiss against the top of your head before resting his cheek against it.
There would be no discussion about what had been bothering you minutes prior, and you were perfectly okay with it. Alastor was useless at emotional discussions, and in extension comforting you directly, but he could, to the best of his ability, comfort you through his actions and presence. A light, soothing jazz tune reverberated in the dark room, manifesting from his cane that sat against the wall by the bed. You closed your eyes and sighed, tangling your legs into his underneath the sheets.
You purse your lips, a light curve at the corners as you smiled at your previous idea.
“Al, my love,” You said softly, moving your head so he would lift his own off of it and look at you. His red eyes had a light glow in the dark.
“Yes, ma moitie?” He lifted his clawed hand and gently placed his index under your chin. Your next words made his body jerk and tense.
“Could I pet your tail?”

Can you do one where reader and him are best friends and he walks in on her changing and they both get really flustered? from his pov?
Tumblr media
Delicate point of view
A/N: THANK YOU FOR THIS REQUEST!!! So sorry for not getting back to it!! My apps been buggy and hasn’t been showing me any submissions but it’s starting to work again!! I hope you didn’t have to wait too long for this… thank you for the support my loves. I adore each and every one of you!!
This as requested will be in Harry’s POV but I’ll be using ‘him’ I can just write easier that way instead of using ‘I’ and of course adding in ‘you/y/n’ whenever applicable. I hope that’s okay my love. Thank you again for the request!!
Pairings: Harry x insecure! Reader (decided it could make it more cute!!) exact weight/ body not specified to be all inclusive for different insecurities!!
©️ please do not copy or translate my work.
-
Harry had, had a busy day at the recording studio. He was a busy man with a busy schedule and sometimes it was impossible to spend time with those he loved however he had found some time to finally spend some time to relax with you— his best friend. You had been his friend for a long time, since childhood practically. You had both seen each other grow. He had seen you on your best days and worst days and had seen you grow into a mature beautiful woman. He always adored you, seeing you as the most gorgeous person ever but he never made any advances upon you. Not because he didn’t want to but because he didn’t know how you felt, you sometimes seemed like you wanted him but then at other points you seemed to not want him…. Whether that be due to insecurity or fear of something certain he couldn’t of been sure but gods did he wish he could be with you sometimes. You were both intimate people whom adored one another but nothing ever pushed you guys over the edge of dipping your toes into the depths of love.
He slowly pushed your front door open, he had sent you a message letting you know he was coming to yours for a bit and you were in the shower but your phone had been left on the messages so it indicated you had seen it so Harry walked into the home, quietly shutting the door behind him. He then began walking upstairs wandering into your room gently pushing the door open “y/n I’m here and—“ “HARRY!!” His words were cut off by your voice as you stood there wide eyed dressed in just your underwear and bra. “ohhhh… shit.” He cussed as you both stared at each other wide eyed, his eyes trailed up and down your body a flush of red covering his face his green eyes wide as he admired you thoroughly, he could’ve looked at you all day- admiring all the curves on your body. The tone of your skin… the way your skin looked so soft and delectable… it made his heart race. You genuinely looked perfect to him. His eyes continued scanning up and down your body, unable to look away. Harry had always been the perfect match for you, you were insecure and desperately needed someone to uplift you. Sometimes your weight and body in general scared you and Harry didn’t hesitate to- as your best friend- assure you that weight didn’t matter. Assure you that a real man or a real mature human being would love you as you were… but still right now you were scared shitless. What if he thought you were ugly? you were just unable to speak in general too shocked and rather horrified that your handsome best friend was here staring at you practically nude. Your mouth opened and closed over and over again like a fish, unable to get your words out until eventually— “Harry cover your eyes!!!” Came from your lips and Harry quickly threw a hand over his eyes his ring covered fingers covering his eyes “Jesus Christ y/n..” he chuckled shaking his head “don’t peak!! I swear to god harry,” his cheeks were flushed bright red and he only laughed keeping his eyes covered, “don’t laugh Harry oh my god!! How embarrassing. Oh my god my best friend just saw me nude!” He continued chuckling at your rambling and just for your comfort to make you more comfortable he turned around.
His hands rested on his hips as he stared at the door listening to you rummage around clearly trying to get dressed “I don’t know why you’re freaking out so much, y/n.” He spoke. “Because YOU Harry fucking styles!! My BEST FRIEND!! Saw me…. Nude! Saw my body!” He could see your shadow moving slightly proving your hands were moving about as you practically freaked out more. He laughed still bright red “not completely nude…” “Harry! Not the point!” His dimples appeared as he grinned.
He heard you groan slightly as you nearly tripped up from putting on your jeans so quickly, your hands trembling your face flushed and your eyes watering fearfully. Harry was genuinely the kindest human being ever but still it terrified you for him to see you like this. “You okay?” He asked and you nodded, before eventually remembering he couldn’t see you and murmuring a quiet “yeah.”
You pulled on your T-shirt as finally you were fully dressed again and Harry turned around looking at you with a small smile before his smile disappeared “hey… what’s the matter?” His brows furrowed concerned and he walked towards you only for you to step backwards “y/n… hey.” He reached out grabbing onto your trembling hands holding onto your hands securely before he brought your hands up to his lips pressing soft kisses to your hands “what’s wrong. You look like you’re about to cry,” he pointed out concerned for you watching as you tried to shy away but he gently cupped your cheek in his hand. He knew the look on your face, he wasn’t stupid, he saw the insecurity the way the fear and sadness flashed before your eyes and he exhaled softly “let me guess… you’re afraid I think you’re ugly?” His words hurt your heart and you looked at him, your lower lip trembling slightly giving him the answer he needed. Sure you were both only best friends but he was always so tender with you. “Darling… don’t be silly. You’re beautiful inside and out… and seeing you without clothes on…. You’re just more gorgeous.” He spoke with a reassuring smile. “Really?” And he nodded his head “of course really. Cant you see my face..?” He chuckled out and you took time to finally examine his face cheeks bright red, eyes glistening, and a wide smile on his face his dimples very apparent. “Oh…” you trailed off softly and he smiled before holding your face in his hands stroking his thumbs against your cheeks lovingly “you’re so so beautiful… the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid eyes on.”
Soon in a rather intimate way Harry leaned in to press soft kisses against your forehead, before trailing the kisses down your cheeks, across your nose, to your other cheek and down to your chin gently avoiding your lips “every part of you. Your nose…. Your cheeks… your lips.. your eyes… your body. All of you is… perfection.” He always knew how you were insecure, how you tried to fit in how perfect you tried to be how the pressure of society was nowadays to have a “perfect” body and perfect face. “Do you really think I’m beautiful? Perfect?” You asked with teary eyes and he nodded his head slowly “of course.” He continued stroking his thumbs against your cheeks softly “I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again… whatever you weigh. Whatever anybody weighs… to the right person… it doesn’t matter. It shouldn’t matter. But there’ll always be judgemental people out there… but no matter what my love… you’re beautiful…. Fuck what anyone else thinks. You’re my best friend and I think you’re perfect. I know you’re perfect.”
You smiled staring into his eyes watching as he began getting closer and closer until his lips were brushing against yours in a subtle kiss, as if making sure it was okay with you, but you didn’t respond— too shocked, but at you not pulling back, he took that as a yes and leaned in kissing you more deeply pressing his lips hard against yours but the tenderness remained, his hand caressing against your cheek, before eventually he pulled back after a singular kiss to look into your eyes “and… also…” his thumb brushed against your cheek “butterflies can’t see their wings, but they’re beautiful without knowing it.” His lips curved into a small smile as your smile slowly grew and you leaned in kissing him realising just how perfect you both were for each other… the butterflies within your stomach swirled desperately. Oh how you loved him and oh how he loved you.

“eyes on me.” - Tsukishima Kei
insecure f!reader x Tsukishima Kei
warnings: used the words ‘love’ in one part, there’s physical affection
author’s note : first fic idk but uhm i hope ya’ll enjoy it hosoekfkcksso
fluff and angst (?)
Tumblr media
Tsukishima Kei hated it when you’d cry over your negative thoughts about yourself— you felt like you were not enough for him, you felt like you were just a distraction to him. But he didn’t think so, you weren’t convinced, now you’re crying in his arms for the nth time this week, sobbing and sniffling as you clung onto him like he was all you needed.
“I don’t understand how you can ever fall in love with someone like me..” You hiccup, too ashamed to even show your pretty face to him. He frowned. Not the frown that he’d give to Hinata and the rest, but the frown that wants to prove you wrong right then and there.
He paused and breathed, his fingers fiddling with each other anxiously, “…N-No, no, I don’t love you,” his breath hitched, looking down on you. Your eyes widen in surprise, hurt, and confusion for a few moments, before he continued. “I’m obsessed with you,” he declared. “Look at me, eyes on me, Y/N,”, Tsukishima mutters to you softly, taking your hands in his, “The day I laid my eyes on you was the day I felt like I was saved from the darkness..” He paused, trying to find the right words, “Y/N, you’re who I love, you’re all I need and all I want. The day we started going out, I made a silent promise to love you forever and always, you’re beautiful— no, divine, even. You’re the one I want, need and cherish. I couldn’t ask for anything more, my love. I don’t care about the other girls in our class. I want you. Can’t you see it? You make me feel alive, loved, seen, and important. You’re everything I want in a partner. You’re my prayer, you’re my girl, and you’re my soulmate.” He tells you softly and quietly, but enough so only you can hear it. You stopped sobbing, now happy tears are rolling down your cheeks.
Tsukishima Kei was dedicated to make you believe in yourself. He loves you too much to let that slide.
While you were being comforted with the warm embrace of your lover, you felt safe, content and loved.
BONUS :
“I never knew you had a cheesy side to you, Kei,”
“What? No I don’t.”
“Lying’s bad.”
“Just go to sleep already, Y/N.”
“Can you hold my hand while I sleep?”
“…Fine.”
“Can I wear your shirt?”
“…For what?”
“Your scent calms me down.”
“Tsk, yeah, whatever,”
“Where’s my good night kiss?”
“..*mumbles incoherently while pecking your cheeks and lips*”
“Good night, Kei, I love you,”
“Good night, Y/N.. I love you more.”
THE END

“You mad at me, Princess?” Lloyd coos.
You scowl, turning your head away as he tries to kiss your neck. He reaches for your hand, but you yank it out and flip to the other side of the bed before he gets the chance.
“Oh, so you’re really mad at me tonight.”
He sighs, pushing aside the covers and moving closer to you. His hand rests on your lower back, rubbing it softly in hopes of you breaking your silence.
“Just let me help you.” His tone is gentle, understanding that getting upset wouldn’t make your little attitude disappear.
“Just leave me alone,” you mutter.
“Baby…you can talk to me. I know—"
His presence and proximity begin to overwhelm you, and quickly you find yourself verbally lashing out. “I said. Leave. Me. Alone.”
His movements stop and quickly you feel a dip in the bed as he slides his sweatpants back on and exits the room without another word. Your heart drops but your pride keeps you in place, huffing as the bedroom door shuts, leaving you alone with his lingering scent.
Tears spring from your eyes as you try your best to push the thoughts away.
He doesn’t actually want you. He’s gone for days, sometimes weeks at a time. He’ll find someone prettier, less needy. For fucks sake he’s Lloyd Hansen, why would he settle down with you of all people?
You constantly battled with insecurity, anxious that the love you have for others would never truly be reciprocated.
Lloyd would do anything for you, yet you’re laying here, scared that one day he’d get up and leave and never return.
And it only worsened when he was away for work, just you alone in this big house, painting and waiting like Rapunzel trapped in her tower.
As time passed you grew frantic. You latched onto his pillow, inhaling his scent until you grew dizzy.
A soft knock sounds on the door and unknowingly you release a heavy sigh of relief. He came back.
“Princess? I got you something.”
The door swings open, revealing a tin of your favorite cookies from the bakery near town, held tightly within his hands.
“They didn’t have milk chocolate so I got fudge. I hope that’s o—"
His face drops once he sees the tears streaming down your cheeks. You’re hiccuping, sniffling into your shirtsleeve with pure guilt. “I’m sorry,” you whisper.
Lloyd drops the cookies onto the dresser, racing to your side. “I hate seeing you like this, Princess. Just tell me what’s wrong and I swear I’ll do everything in my power to mend it.”
You hiccup. “It’s hard.”
“What’s hard, baby?”
“Being without you for so long. Waiting. I— I can’t stop thinking the worst. What if this isn’t the life you want? What if I’m not the life you want?”
He frowns, his eyebrows furrowed because Lloyd can’t possibly imagine a life where you weren’t his sweet girl. His Princess. “I’ll always want you,” he assures.
Lloyd presses his forehead against yours. His steady breath tickles your nose, his lips parted to speak. “Being away from you is the hardest part of my job. I’ll be bruised and bloody, a gun aimed at someone’s forehead and yet, the only thing on my mind is you. Always just wanna get home to you.”
You sob into his shoulder, your arms wrapping around his neck as you release a floodgate of emotions.
“I’m sorry for snapping at you. I know I’m being stupid. I know you love me. It’s just…sometimes I get scared.”
“Hey, shh. It’s okay, pretty girl. I know it gets hard for you. Don’t ever feel guilty for feeling emotions. Just talk to me next time and we can work through it together. Okay?”
You nod, your eyes glazed and wide as you finally look at his piercing gaze. “Okay.”
Lloyd grins as he pushes himself off the ground, pressing his soft lips against yours. You groan as he grows rougher, his body joining you beneath the tangled mess of sheets.

You took a deep breath as you closed your book, putting it away as you got tired. It was almost time to leave, so you just scrolled on your phone for a bit.
“Y/N!” None other than Gina Linetti yelled to grab your attention. She succeeded. You looked up as she motioned for you to come over. You got on your feet, and walked over with a small smile, “The crew’s going for drinks later, you know, the usual, but I’ve heard you don’t want to come?”
“Uh—yeah,” You nodded as your brows furrowed, “Why?” Gina took a deep breath as she looked at you with a certain look that you read as ‘seriously?’.
“You’ve been missing out on going anywhere with us; is something up?” Gina intertwined her hands as she looked up at you, eyeing you, “Nope, I’m perfectly fine.” The lie immediately left your lips as you shrugged, “Just a bit tired. I’ve never been one for hangouts, anyway.”
“Mhm.” She nodded unconvinced, motioning as to tell you ‘okay, go’. You put on the smile you had and returned to your desk, sitting down in your seat. You then heard a loud laugh, making you turn your head in the sounds direction. It was Amy and Jake talking, Amy seemingly laughing at something Jake had said.
You involuntarily formed a sad smile, then looked away before anyone could see you look at them. If someone knew, you thought repeatedly. God, how you had the biggest crush on Jake. It started as a giddy middle school crush, before it turned into something more. It was long before Amy ans Jake got together, so it was so hard to try to make your feelings disappear. Not to mention you and Jake are very close friends.
Jake and Amy were the perfect couple. You would never do anything to damage their relationship, no matter what. Yes, you and Jake were close, but you and Amy were also friends. Sabotaging their relationship would be the last thing you would ever do. You wouldn’t blame Jake for getting with Amy, anyway. She was so incredibly smart, let alone gorgeous. You’re not jealous of Amy, but you just aspire to be like her.
“N/N!” Jake clapped in front of you, making you jump in your seat, “What the hell?” You furrowed your brows as you looked up at him. He crossed his arms as he looked concerned and serious at the same time, “Why’re you not going anywhere with us?” He asked as he narrower his eyes at you.
“I’m just not in the mood,” You sighed to stand up, before he pushed you back onto the chair. You tilted your head in confusion, “I’m being honest, Peralta.” You shook your head with a shrug.
“I somehow find that hard to believe.” He let out a breath as he grabbed a chair. He sat in front of you. You knew how this was gonna go. He wouldn’t leave you alone, bug you with questions before you finally admit what was up. Not this time, though. You literally could not bear to let your heart break even more, especially seeing them somewhere other than work. Besides, you wouldn’t have had a chance either way.
Your insecurities would get the best of you, and not let it down until you distanced yourself from him and eventually breakup. Well, that’s not how your relationships went. It’s what you were told during those relationships that affected you and made you the way you are.
“Y’know how lucky you are to be with me?”
“You were always something to pass time with.”
“Look at you. Why would I be with you out of all people?”
The memories flashed, causing you to swallow a lump in your throat. His hand went on yours, “Just tell me.” He was genuinely concerned. Jake always cared about his friends, something you loved about him. Loved, shit, you freaked out and stammered, “I gotta go.” You grabbed your bag and strutted to the elevator in a hurry. You felt everyone’s eyes on you, and you just closed your eyes as you walked into the elevator, before Jake threw one of Scullys’ bag of chips to keep the elevator opened.
“Okay, seriously, what is up with you?” He stopped the elevator, then turned to you. He cornered you, making your breath hitch, “What’s up with you?” You chuckled in disbelief as your hands pushed him away softly. He tilted his head in confusion now, “Just—leave me alone.” You turned to the button, until Jake grabbed your wrists.
“You should know me better than that,” He said as he blocked your view of the controls, “Please tell me.” He pleaded. You shook your head and backed up, suddenly feeling suffocated. Your mental health has gone to shit a while ago, your insecurities piling up with every passing minute, and the urge to breakdown was too much; not to mention overthinking. Sure, you may have overreacted before, but you had time to think about that later. Right now, all you wanted to do is get away from Jake Peralta.
You stayed quiet, head down, while you fidgeted with your fingers. He dropped his head back as a soft sigh left his lips. He knew you were stubborn, but usually he would’ve gotten through to you by now, “Is it really that scary you don’t wanna tell me?”
You looked up at him, giving him an answer without saying a word. He nodded, then moved to let you press the button, yet you paused, “If I could tell you, I would, but I’m not that kind of person.” Then pressed the button.
Tumblr media
The next day was the same, yet you stayed quiet. You were more introverted than usual as you tugged the the hem of your sweater’s sleeves, in deep thought. You wondered if yesterday could’ve gone differently, but it couldn’t have. You felt Jake’s eyes on you, but you didn’t dare to even glance in his direction. You were finishing up paperwork, then got up to go to Captain Holt’s office.
“Y/N,” Gina grabbed you, making you almost lose your balance, “Hm?” You hummed. Rosa was stood beside you, making you jump a bit. Then, Rose hit your shoulder without warning, “What gives?” You hit her back, making her give you a glare you know wasn’t real.
“Did you tell Jake?” Gina sang. You knitted your brows together, obviously confused. Rosa sighed, “Did you tell Jake you wanted him in way too many ways?” She said casually. Your eyes widened and looked around to make sure no one heard, and thankfully, no one did.
“Say it louder, why don’t you?” You sarcastically stated as you crossed your arms, “Also, obviously not.” You continued.
“Well, why not?” Gina said as if it wasn’t obvious enough. “He is dating someone. I can’t ruin that, why would I? I don’t have a chance, anyway.” You shrugged, “Let it go. I’m not really bothered with this, and you both shouldn’t be either.”
“Yeah,” Gina hummed, “no.” She then continued, getting a nod from Rosa. “They’ve been talking about taking a ‘break’ for a bit, because they’ve been busy with work.” Rosa turned to you.
“That’s their business, and I will not interfere, so neither should you two!” You pointed at them with your index finger. You then walked back to your desk, ditching the idea to go to Captain Holt. Thankfully, it was time to leave, so you took your things and made you way to the elevator. And this time, Jake didn’t throw a bag of chips.
Tumblr media
You were in your apartment, on the couch while you waited your pizza to arrive to start the movie. Then, the doorbell rang. Expecting it to be your order, you grabbed your cash and walked to the door, opening it to find Jake.
While you were about to slam the door shut, he put his hand on the door and pushed it open. You walked back to your couch, not saying a word as he shut the door, “Talk to me.” He sighed as you stayed quiet. You were in a pair of sweatpants and an oversized hoodie, with your hair in a ponytail. “What do you want me to say?” You faintly said, trying so incredibly hard to not look at him.
“Whatever it is that’s bothering you.” He honestly spoke, “I can’t do that.” You finally turned to him, the gap between you two not being much—catching you off guard. As you were about to turn and look down as you’ve done before, his thumb and index finger held your chin, forcing you to look up at him, “I can’t,” You tilted your head ever so slightly, the words coming out as a whisper.
Before he let out a word, the bell rang. You swallowed a lump that formed in your throat, then stood up and walked to the door. You grabbed the cash beforehand, then opened the door to find a sweet woman with a pizza box, “Thank you,” You mumbled with a smile, then softly shut the door and walked back to the couch.
“Y/N—“
“No, you seriously don’t understand; I actually can’t tell you. It’s best if I don’t, Jake.” You cut him off before he can say anything. He doesn’t understand how much you being in his mere presence hurts you so much. You wouldn’t dream of ruining what makes Jake happy, not to mention Amy. Amy was such a kind and special person, you were honestly relieved Jake was dating her.
You then felt him intertwine your hands, making you look up at him with a confused expression, “I understand.” He nodded as he locked eyes with you. You mirrored his soft nod, as you cupped his cheek before being able to stop yourself. Your eyes widened just a bit before going back to your previous expression; trying to not make your thoughts obvious.
“I really can’t,” You whispered as tears welled up in your eyes, although they weren’t very obvious. He nodded and got up, “I’ll see you tomorrow.” His lips formed into a thin line, making you suck in a breath.
As soon as he was out the door, tears freely rolled down your cheeks. Your knees were pulled to your chest, then grabbed the remote to put on your comfort movie. Everything has gone to crap—everything except your job, that is.
Mental health? Long gone.
Love life? Never existed.
Friendships? Either distance or are just fake.
Insecurities? Piling up by the passing second.
Life is truly not worth it.

Miguel O'Hara X Insecure!Reader (GN)
Content: Fluffy comfort, Praise kink, Heavy petting, Dry humping, Penetrative sex.
Tumblr media
Word count: 1,568
‘Hey, Mig! Mig!’
‘Uh—uhuh?’ Miguel yawned into the back of his hand as you glared up at him from the left side of the sofa. His laid-back approach to your furious, scrunched up expression was aggravatingly adorable.
‘Miguel!’
You hissed his name and simultaneously patted his bicep numerous times, lightly slapping his thick muscles until he finished yawning.
‘Yes, I’m listening! I said I was listening, didn’t I?’ he said between chuckles. You huffed.
Your body was snuggled in against his side on your old couch, with your legs tucked up beneath you and his legs splayed out over the coffee table. One of your arms was rope around his waist while the other was awkwardly hunched against his side; it’d gone to sleep about half an hour ago, but you were too comfortable to move.
Your living room was bathed in total darkness, spare for the bright orange glow of the screen up front. It was supposed to be the perfect evening in: matching oversized shirts and sweats, with a heavy blanket over your legs and snacks on the table. Your TV was even blaring your favourite film, but Miguel wasn’t paying attention.
‘You promised you’d watch it properly!’ you whispered.
Miguel sniffed in response. His eyes were fixed on you, his lips tilted into a sleepy smile. It was strange to see him so relaxed.
‘Mhm. I am. I’m paying attention.’
‘Are you?’
‘Mhm. I’m paying close attention.’ Miguel absently started to play with your hair as he spoke, which rather undermined his point. You blew on his hand to push him off but it only seemed to endear him further. His eyes wrinkled as he grinned at your petulant face.
‘Then what just happened?’ you asked, trying to catch him out instead.
‘What?’
‘In the film!’ you said whilst grabbing the remote from your lap. You paused the film and then poked him with the same remote. ‘What just happened in the film?’
Miguel awkwardly shrugged and slyly took the remote back, throwing it over to his other hand so you couldn’t reach it again. ‘Something happened, for sure. Something definitely happened’ he teased, and with the remote held just out of reach for your scrabbling hands he switched it back on.
‘So you’re not paying attention!’ you said. Miguel kept his smile.
‘I said I was paying attention, I didn’t say to the film. I meant I was paying attention to you.’
You felt heat building in your cheeks as his eyes darted across your face. His usually cold, exhausted eyes were so soft on you; even now you could see the dark circles, the exhaustion from working so hard, but on you they looked so round and curious.
‘You—big, stupid man’ you grumbled. His chuckled vibrated through his hefty chest, a sound strong enough to shake your head.
‘What? What’s wrong? Not like you to be so mean.’
You could feel his eyes roaming now. His hand, once lazily draped around your waist, was starting to press against your oversized shirt in search of your flesh. You felt the heart rising and shuffled.
‘Come on, the—the film, it’s—still going’ you whined. ‘Focus.’
‘I’m sure it’s great, mi amor, but it’s not you’ he repeated softly. You shuffled harder.
‘Mm—Mig.’
‘Uhuh?’
He leaned in, expecting you to continue with either a question or a rebuttal, but he got nothing. You shyly avoided his gaze. He noticed, then, that you were subtly shifting the blanket higher.
‘Oh, mi amor. You—come here, you.’
You squeaked as he easily lifted your entire body into his arms. His strength was unfounded, and he made you look weightless as he gently settled you down on his lap. Your legs were splayed out on either side of his hips, with your face in his pecs and your hands on his abs.
He put one hand on your lower back, shifting it beneath the shirt, and tilted your chin with the other.
Those big red eyes gleamed as your favourite film continued to blare on in the background. It was quickly becoming white noise as your heart thundered.
‘Mig, come on’ you said. He could feel the tension in your body.
‘Can’t I look at you, mi amor?’ he asked. You felt his fingers teasing, brushing, his eyes drooping with a perverse fixation. You felt the heat getting stronger.
‘Mm—You know, that—It, I feel, weird. I don’t know’ you whispered awkwardly. As you squirmed Miguel put his finger to your cheek, gently stroking it from side to side.
‘If you’re uncomfortable, like really uncomfortable, I will put you down’ Miguel insisted, right before pressing his lips to your forehead. ‘But I really want to see you. I mean it.’
You shuffled again as the TV continued to blare into the silence. You felt your little heart flutter. You were worried what he might say, or do, replaying the worst possible scenarios in your head, but beneath his calm and insistent gaze you felt that niggling self-doubt begin to wane.
‘It—okay, sure. If you really want to’ you said at last. Miguel went to grin but bit it back into a normal, patient smile so as not to scare you with his excitement.
‘Thank you, mi tesoro, thank you, thank you. Mm—come on, come here.’
Miguel’s hands slid up your bare back, gently coaxing your shirt aside. You were burning up as you raised your arms and allowed him to shift it up and over your head.
He threw it aside without care and returned his eyes to your bare upper torso. You weren’t sure what you were expecting, really, but it certainly wasn’t this.
The heavy breath that practically steamed in the air, heavy as his eyelids as they drooped and narrowed. He breathed in deep like a man looking at his last meal.
‘Let me look at you, please.’
His hands slowly shifted back to your waist. You felt the brush of his fingers and shivered. He started at your neck, cupping your face with both palms before smoothly sliding them down to your shoulders and chest.
‘Mi amor’ he whispered. You felt the slow rush of goosebumps up your arms.
With a grunt his hands came down, tenderly squeezing your waist and belly in his palms. You tensed up instinctively. He knew which bits you were most embarrassed about, and he showed them all the love in the world.
‘Pretty, pretty little thing’ he breathed. The heat in your cheeks had grown to the point that it itched, with his hands eagerly squishing and massaging every part of you he could get at. His fingers pressed on your hips while his thumb ran up and down your waist, feeling the soft fat give way to his touch.
‘So- fucking pretty’ he repeated.
It was then that your body jolted as a short, throbbing shock hit your inner thighs. You looked down on instinct and immediately squeaked; he was already rock hard, and his shaft was now gently nudging at your sweats. You could see a wet patch of precum forming on the fabric.
‘You—aha, t-that fast huh?’ you said with a laugh. Your attempt at humour was sorely spoiled, then, when his hands squeezed your hips with furious intent, and he began to grind your half-naked body down against his bulge. Your shy smile fell apart into a shocked but pleasantly surprised moan.
‘A-Ah—M-Mig—’
‘You see how much I like you, mi amor?’ Miguel practically purred in your ear. His voice was dripping with desperation, a sentiment shared by the frantic bucking of his hips. You shuddered as one of his hands went up to your chest.
‘You see how much I want you? You see how crazy you make me?’
‘I-I got, it I got it’ you stammered back. At this point you were being thrown so hard by his frantic grinds that each word you said was half-muffled. His sweatpants left nothing to the imagination, especially since he hadn’t even bothered to wear boxers beneath them; the fabric let you feel every curve, every vein, every contour as his shaft nudged at you.
‘Do you?’ he teased breathlessly. With a smug smile he leaned back into the couch cushions, allowing him a full view of your body on top. You burned up under his gaze, especially as you were now being bucked and bounced on his cock.
‘Oh, there you are’ he sighed dreamily, ‘there’s my baby. There you are.’
At this point, he’d got you. Your insides were clenching with an unbearably, unscratchable itch to be touched, to be his, and you didn’t care what you looked like anymore. You started to grind back on him.
‘Oh—that’s it, that’s it. Perfect. You’re doing—such a good job, fuck—’
He threw his head back once as you rode his shaft just to groan, but he quickly returned to eyeing you up. You relished in his fingers as they squeezed around to grab your ass, his palm fondling the weight as he spread and bounced it a little.
‘So much—better than anything else’ he groaned. You were practically mewling at this point.
‘Fucking perfect’ he moaned.
From there no words were needed. The heat was palpable between you both, a kind of urgency that felt physically tangible in the air. You awkwardly shuffled your sweatpants down as he did the same, and without saying a single thing you practically fell onto his thick shaft.
You groaned as it slid into your tight hole, relishing the first pulse as it rippled through to your very soul. You saw him bite his lip until it bled just to suppress whatever filthy words he wanted to yell.
‘MMM—Mmm, mm—’ his muffled grunts were all you could hear as he started to pump, and his eyes were all you could see. You could tell he wanted to close his eyes, that impulse need to roll them back and pant as he felt you squeezing the life out of his cock with those soft, gummy walls, but he refused. He just wanted to watch.
‘Yeah… yeah that’s it’ he said, the only thing he could manage before he started to move you. He leant back so he could watch his hips move between your thighs, and god did he love those thighs. You felt his thick, calloused fingers squish until the fat bulged between them, and the resulting throb from his cock was all the proof you needed of how much he enjoyed that view.
You shyly tried to close your eyes but he pinched you as punishment, forcing them back open. He stared right back with nothing but adoration in his eyes.
‘Fucking perfect’ he repeated between thrusts. ‘Fucking—perfect.’
Your lip quivered as you fought the urge to scream. You were already soaking from his soft affirmations, and he loved that. He used his thumb to shift thighs a little further apart, eager to watch his shaft slowly pumping in and out. He felt that wet squelch fulfilling something utterly primal in him.
‘Perfect’ he repeated. ‘Perfect. Perfect. Now, let me show you how much I really love looking at you.’
He kept that promise, as by the time you were done, your favourite film that you’d been so insistent about that ended without either of you paying any attention at all.

Beautiful
Genre: hurt, comfort, fluff
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Plus size!Female Reader
Word Count: 645
Warnings: body issues, negative thoughts, post pregnancy insecurities
SPN Masterlist
I’ve been feeling a bit down the last few days and this happened kind of out of nowhere but it felt good to write something. Sending love to anyone feeling insecure about their body for whatever reason. You are beautiful just the way you are 💕
Tumblr media
You look in the mirror with a frown tugging down at the corners of your lips and sigh heavily. In nothing but your underwear it's hard not to notice the way your body has undoubtedly changed over the last year. Your thighs are a bit thicker, your hips a bit wider, your stomach a lot rounder. Your body has always been thicker set, but strong and capable of fighting as was needed for hunting. Now all you see is soft lines and the pattern of discoloured skin now running in lines down your whole stomach.
You’re no stranger to stretch marks and scars, but these feel different somehow. They’re so wide and the colour of them so vivid that they’re all you can see. And there’s just so damn many of them. The whole of your lower stomach is covered.
The worst thing is that Dean still looks, well incredible. You swear he somehow gets even more handsome as he ages which is entirely unfair. He's still muscular and fit, despite the unlimited amount of burgers and pies he seems to devour. And even though you know it’s ridiculous as it’s not like his body had to grow and change to accommodate a small human, you know that’s not the issue. It's not jealousy that Dean’s body is, in your eyes, flawless. It's that stupid, creeping insecurity that whispers nonsense in your mind, that tells you Dean will want to find someone equally as flawless. Someone who looks like the girls at the bars he used to chase in his younger days.
It's crap and you know it. He gave those habits up long ago and you know he loves you for so much more than the body you steer through the world. But inner voices are nothing if not cruel at the worst of times. You sigh, finger tracing down one of the jagged lines when the door opens behind you.
"Sweetheart, have you s-“
Dean stops, mid-step and mid-sentence, catching sight of you judging yourself in the mirror. You scramble to grab your t-shirt, discarded on the bed, but Dean beats you there, crossing the room in a few short strides and standing between you and the mattress, blocking your way.
"What are you doing?" His question is soft, eyes searching your face and noticing the frown lines that have etched themselves into your forehead.
"Nothing," you whisper, embarrassed at having been caught. You avoid Dean’s eye, but he slips a hand beneath your chin and lifts your face to his.
"You're my favourite, most beautiful girl," he says, looking deep into your eyes before pulling you to his chest and kissing the top of your head, "Nothing is ever going to change that, okay?"
"Okay," you nod, closing your eyes as a tear slips unbidden down your cheek. He releases you gently, his hands moving slowly down your arms before landing on your hips. The heavy weight of his hands on your skin somehow makes you feel better. It’s a reminder that there is so much more to both of you than your flawed skin and perfectly imperfect bodies.
"I love you, Sweetheart. Exactly the way you are." Dean’s words are a breath against your lips but said with so much conviction that you feel your heart soar. “And these right here,” the back of his fingers stroke gently down the lines on your stomach, tracing the same path yours did just moments ago. “These show what an incredible job you did of carrying and protecting our little boy. I will forever be grateful and so proud of you.”
You close your eyes again, a few more tears spilling over but a small smile graces your face. Dean wipes your cheeks tenderly with his thumbs before he pulls you into a deep kiss that tells you love is more than just skin-deep.

Angst + Fluff
Pairing: Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw x Insecure!Reader
Word Count: 2.1k
TW: Swearing, One lewd commment from some drunk asshole
Summary: You get insulted for being shy- Bradley comforts you.
Authors note: This is 1,000% how I picture Bradley reacting to having a shy girlfriend. *Cue protective Bradley*.
Normally Oneshots aren’t my thing but I had fun with this one!
******************************************************
The house was crowded , mostly with military- but also people’s plus- ones and friends. The party had been going on for hours, even after the celebratory fireworks.
You’d been sticking close to Bradley most of the night. You two were never far apart, he acted like a magnet that your body was always drawn to.
Going out with Bradley to a party wasn’t something you two normally did. You didn’t enjoy huge crowds or getting shit-faced. Bradley didn’t particularly enjoy it either. So, most of the time you both avoided big gatherings. But, since you both had been invited AND it was of the 4th of July it only felt right to attend.
Hangman and Phoenix managed to pull you away from Bradley for a while by challenging you to a game of darts. You appreciated their friendliness, and the fact that they knew you well enough to push you out of your comfort zone.
Bradley had moped over to you guys complaining about “stealing his girlfriend” and then he really didn’t let you out of his sight after that.
It had been about an hour since the fireworks went off, but the party was still going strong. You figured you would be heading out soon - Bradley was nearing the end of his pool game that you’d been watching for the last half hour.  You were enjoying yourself but damn, you couldn’t wait to be home in your pajamas with him.
Contrary to what most people assumed of Bradley - he did like to stay in and relax. But you knew as well as anyone else - as soon as Bradley was committed to a party, he became the center of it.
You cherished the moments of quiet with him, but you also cherished how he could light up a room instantly. Something that you hadn’t quite mastered – and probably never would.
You talked when you wanted to, and you preferred to observe or chat in small groups of people rather than big parties. You smiled as you caught Hangman and Bob fighting over the darts game they were playing in the corner.
“She doesn’t talk much does she.” A voice rung out above everyone else’s.
A man you didn’t recognize was staring at you and Bradley, a beer lazily held to his lips. He was on the opposite side of the pool table from you. Everyone immediately focused their attention on him.
You instantly felt embarrassment wash over you, mixed with fear. Instinctively you looked at Bradley who was just as dumbstruck as you were.
“She can speak for herself dumbass.” Phoenix retorted before anyone else could say something. She was standing closer to the man than you were, and she looked pissed.
You rotated your eyes up at Bradley who was giving the stranger a death glare and by the way he was gripping his beer you concluded he was also extremely pissed.
You knew Bradley was biting his tongue, waiting for you to speak. He was a hothead, but he never spoke over you - ever.
“I’m more of an observer than a talker.”  you said with a sweet smile on your face. You figured trying to make light of his comment was a better idea than trying to scrounge for a comeback. Because that was definitely not your forte.
The tension seemed to ease in the room, and people started talking amongst themselves again.
Bradley was watching the stranger with his arms crossed and eyes narrowed. You’d subconsciously shifted closer together, shoulders touching slightly.
You looked at the man who was still eyeing you both. He was definitely drunk out of his mind, and reminded you of a rich frat boy. You were used to people like him commenting on how quiet you were. People always teased you for your shyness, especially when you were surrounded by extroverted friends.
“Must be nice in the sack, all quiet like that.” The man drawled out, completely looking past you and right into Bradley’s eyes.
You immediately shut your lips and tensed. Everyone was looking at you, waiting for your response.
Teasing was one thing- but speculating how you were in bed - that was a whole new level. He wasn’t even talking to you, he was talking about you.
You flushed, still mortified that he would bring up something as private as your sex life in front of a group of people. You felt a lump grow in your throat, and you started to shift your weight on your feet- unsure of what to do.
“What the fuck did you just say?” Bradleys voice was a mix of disbelief and unrelenting anger.
Your boyfriend went from cool, calm and collected to pissed off. He shifted his body to be standing half in front of you. You were in shock at the situation going on around you. You wanted to crawl into your bed and hide. Bradleys fists were balled up at his sides angrily.
Fuck this was not good.
“Whoa -calm down Bradshaw. Just an observation.” The stranger had a stupid look on his face, he took a swig of his beer and then tilted his head at Bradley and then at you. You felt disgusted by him, knowing that he had thought of you in such private ways.
Everyone around the pool table was listening, even with the pool game was still going. Luckily the crowds around the pool table weren’t able to hear the confrontation.
“Don’t fucking talk about my girlfriend like that. Ever.” Bradley’s voice boomed angrily.  “You’re too fucking drunk, you need to go home.”
The stranger threw his hands up in surrender with a smug look on his face. He dropped his pool stick and headed towards you and Bradley.
Bradley completely stepped in front of you now, pushing you back slightly. His tall frame was all you could see. You were thankful that Bradley was blocking you from everyone because you were trying to fight the tears welling in your eyes.
Embarrassment was hot on your cheeks. You just wanted to go home.
Once the drunk stranger left the room you let out a breath you didn’t realize you’d been holding . Everyone’s eyes were either on the pool game or on you and Bradley. You tried to keep your face as neutral as possible to not give any of your true feelings away.
Bradley reached down and grabbed your small hand with his large ones.
“You okay?” He asked soft enough that only you could hear. You bit the inside of your lip and gave him a quick a nod, not wanting to look up at him because you knew he’d notice your tear-filled eyes.
Bradley switched from holding your hand to wrapping his arm around your waist securely. You immediately leaned into him and grasped your arm around his waist. You grabbed his shirt with your fingers tightly, letting his touch ground you in the room full of noise.
“Let’s go outside.” Bradley said, this time at a normal volume. You knew your boyfriend - so you knew he was concerned for you. You also knew him well enough to know that “going outside” meant, let’s leave this party.
“Bye guys” Phoenix said from the left of you. She seemed to be the only one who knew that you wouldn’t actually be returning. You gave her a small smile and she looked at you with sympathetic eyes.
You wished that she didn’t. You were fine. People said mean things all the time.
You knew what you told yourself was a lie.
*********************************************************
You and Bradley sat in his car, after escaping the party just a few minutes earlier. Bradley’s hand was in your lap, with your hands gently placed beneath his large one.
Bradley had been asking you how you were since the moment you left the house. You were trying to brush him off, but his persistence was hard to beat.
“Babe, it’s really not a big deal. I had a good time tonight.” You said insistently.
“And I did too, until some asshole spoke to you like that.” Bradley countered back. You winced thinking about what the man had said.
You stayed silent and looked out the window into the lit-up house where you could hear the low thumping of music. Shame rose in you when you realized it was your fault that Bradley was here, and not in there having fun with his friends.
“You should go back in Bradley” you said with a soft voice. “I can come get you later, so you don’t have to worry about driving.”
“What? No, I want to be with you.” Bradley’s dark eyes were filled with hurt. He gripped your hands tighter.
“Please tell me what you’re thinking.” He begged softly.
God damnit it was impossible to hide anything from him.
“Bradley you should be in there, with your friends having fun. Not here with me because I’m too shy for this kind of thing.” You shook your head and looked at your lap.
You really didn’t want to talk about this, it was something that you were ashamed of. You knew you stuck out like a sore thumb next to someone as confident and loud as him.
“You know that’s not true. I want to be with you.” He said desperately. “Please stop being so unkind to yourself.”
You twisted your lips together to try to fight the sadness. Being “unkind to yourself” was something Bradley had been working on with you for a while. And you’d been doing so much better - but tonight felt like a step backwards.
You took a deep breath and looked at Bradley.
“It’s just that he didn’t say anything untrue.” You said sadly.
“I am quiet.” You paused for a moment. “And I’m sure I could be louder in the bedroom.” You thought about the girls Bradley had been with before. You wondered if they were better, if they had been louder - more his type. Hot jealously and sadness coursed through you.
Before he could speak you continued. Warm tears were streaming down your face now.
“You’re the life of the party Bradley. When you walk in the room everyone knows.” You sniffled softly. “And I’m sure people wonder why you would be with someone like me. Someone so invisible and quiet.”
Bradley was shaking his head in denial. He wiped your tears softly with his thumb.
“I’m going to kill that fucking idiot the next time I see him for making you think like this.” His voice was angry, but mostly it sounded like it was in pain.
“You’re perfect the way you are. Absolutely fucking perfect.” He looked at you with such certainty. Such love- you almost believed him.
“When I’m with you I feel complete. I feel invincible- I feel happy.” He said , his voice still serious. “Not being the loudest person in the room is what I love about you. And fuck anyone else who has something to say about that.”
You gave him a small smile. Your chest was still aching with hints of embarrassment and insecurity. But you knew what Bradley was telling you was the truth – at least that’s what you had to believe to move on.
“I feel a little better now. Especially after you threatened to punch that guy in the face.” You joked.
Bradley laughed at you, his eyes finally looking bright again.
“I’ll go punch him in the face right now if it’ll make you smile.”
You grinned and shook your head.
“That would make me smile but I think there’s something else at home that’ll make me smile more.” Your voice was filled with suggestiveness. Images of Bradley naked in your bed was egging you on.
His eyes widened and you smirked at him.
“I like that idea.” He leaned in and gave you a long soft kiss. The warmth you always felt when kissing him returned to you.
“Let’s go home.”
*******************************************************
You were both covered in blankets from head to toe. You had been watching TV the last few hours, with your bodies completely intertwined.
You realized that moments like this were the things that really mattered - The intimate moments that no one else saw. The moments that were not meant for anyone else to know about.
You looked to your right to see Bradley dozing off on your shoulder letting out small gentle breaths. He was so physically large but with you he was putty in your hands.
You gave him a kiss on his forehead and relished the quiet you so desperately needed.

DONNIE WITH AN INSECURE S/O
Alright, as someone who has had body image issues, especially with stretch marks,
Alot of this is going to be from experience.
Donnie always wondered why you worn jeans or leggings, no matter how hot is was outside.
He's ask you about it sometimes, but you'd always grow nervous and embarrassed.
It made him a little worried, so he sat you down, and asked if you were ok.
Eventually, you'll tell him about your stretch marks and your insecurity, and he'll ask why you would be insecure of such a thing as natural as stretch marks.
And you explain why.
It's because all the magazines say that beautiful people don't have stretch marks.
He'll scoff at such a ridiculous sentence.
You are the most beautiful person he's ever layed eyes on darling, and no swim suit model on some stupid magazine could change his mind.
The prospect of beauty was in the eye of the beholder anyway.
And he personally believes that anyone who can't see you're one of the most amazing people in the world because of something as minimal as stretch marks is a blind fool.
He helps you get over your insecurity to the best of his ability,
Complimenting you often,
Laying his head in your lap,
All that jazz.
If your insecurity is bad enough, that you'll have days where you don't even wanna look at yourself in the mirror,
Donnie is more than happy to comfort you.
Body image issues are no joke, and can lead to some pretty serious problems later,
So he does his best to help you get comfortable in your own skin,
Stretch marks and all <3
....................................
I uh- I got pretty self indulgent with this one, but I hope I did the prompt justice<3

Lucky | Sanji x Chubby!Reader
Fandom: One Piece
Pairing: Vinsmoke Sanji x Chubby! Reader
Could be considered a part 2 to Want but can be read (and is written as a) stand-alone!
Word Count: 1.8k
Genre: Angst, Fluff??
Warnings: Insecurity about stretch marks, mentions of/implications of (but not explicit) sex so Read At Your Own Discretion, low self esteem, etc.
A/n: I'm not the type of person to write about things that are personal to me, tbh, but this idea played around in my head. I know you can have stretch marks from a variety of reasons but I wrote my own, and I would just like to remind everyone that they're normal. You're absolutely gorgeous as you are, my lovelies. I hope you enjoy this little fic ♡

Sanji felt like the luckiest man in the entire universe.
When Sanji and you had finally got together, he couldn't believe it. It felt unreal to have you reciprocate his feelings, to have you look at him shyly but with warm eyes that made him feel seen and heard– and he was ready to swear over his life to you, holding back only so as to not freak you out. Unlike his usual grand confessions, you were more important to him, a person he could not even take the risk of driving away. If you found him clingy, or obsessive, and he lost you… somehow, even the thought of that made him feel like someone was stabbing at his heart with a fork, over and over.
And he was ready to take this relationship at your pace. Whatever you were ready to offer him, he would gladly take it. Even if you wanted to wait to have sex until you were married, he would gladly do it simply because he was already head over heels in love with you. It scared him a little, when he was by himself in the confines of dark nights, just how much he was ready to sacrifice for a shred of your pure heart. To have you around him as long as the world would let him… The fact that you never hesitated to showcase your love, though you were shy in public, made his heart soar. He never had to wait for anything – except maybe sex.
The problem though, seemed to be something else.
It's not like you didn't want it. Clearly, going by the number of times the two of you had engaged in heavy make out sessions that seemed to lead towards it eventually, you were as affected by him as he was by you. But everytime that happened, your eyes would suddenly lose their drunken haze and shift back into a sort of nervousness and sadness that made Sanji feel helpless. You would stop after that, drawing back into your shell, wrapping your arms around your body and blocking him out.
He took it easy. Sanji didn't want to push you into talking until you were ready, and he certainly didn't want you to feel that a relationship without sex wasn't on the table. So he waited, giving you time to talk about it yourself; it was no good. If anything, you got quieter over time, hesitating even more around him.
It drove him crazy, and he would have questioned if you truly did like him if it wasn't for the fact that you maintained all other aspects of physical intimacy. There was no hesitation when it came to giving him hugs or kisses or affirmations of how in love you were with him, whenever he felt vulnerable and insecure. And that was what made him wonder; were you struggling with your own insecurities of some sort?
It didn't make sense to him that someone as perfect as you should find anything to fault in yourself, but after all, his lens of love was not to be compared with the harsh critics that were your own eyes and mind. He knew you were hesitant of your own body, its curves and how it was different from the slender figures of the other ladies on board and on land.
In Sanji's eyes, you were perfect as you were– soft and warm in all the right places, with a kind and caring personality. There was nothing about you that he didn't love and nothing that he found ugly, yet he didn't quite know how to make you believe him.
It wasn't even that you hated your body. He had seen you have confidence at times, but he had also seen it waver when it came to rude comments or just general low moods. You had your moments of low self-esteem but even in those moments, Sanji found himself a slave of your beauty. No, a devotee would be a better word. He wanted to worship you and your body as you deserved and yet, all his plans were thwarted every time you stopped in the middle of an escalating make out session to give him a small smile and come up with some random excuse to leave.
You were all that he wanted, and he was determined to let you know just what you looked like through his eyes. Sanji's chance came sooner than he had thought, the very night of when he made the resolution.
You lingered around in the kitchen after dinner, humming a song shyly after Sanji had insisted. When he was done with the dishes, you had helped him put them back despite his protests.
"Join me, my love?" He had asked as the two of you stepped out of the kitchen. He had to lock it and he waited for your answer as he did so. You were silent for a while before you spoke up.
"Oh, Sanji, um," you hesitated, clearly overthinking and worried that if you declined then it would be in bad taste but clearly also hesitant of what he was hoping for. "I, I actually…"
"Nothing that you don't want will happen, sweetheart," Sanji said quietly, tucking a lock of your hair behind your ear. "I just want to spend some time with you."
"Oh!" You suddenly looked relieved and Sanji's heart clenched. Were you really afraid that he would force you to do something you weren't comfortable with? "Sure Sanji, I would love that too."
He held your hand in his as you walked to his room. Only once you were inside and he had closed the door behind him, did he speak.
"Sweetheart," he called out when you had settled comfortably on his bed. You looked up at him curiously. "Is it okay if I ask you something?"
You were quiet for a second, not unlike how you got when the sexual tension between you would get high. You clearly knew what he was getting to. Sanji waited until you nodded to move in closer to sit across from you.
"I just want to put this on the table before I ask," Sanji searched your eyes for something. "This relationship will always go at your pace. I do not mind waiting as long as you need me to, or even forever, if that is what you want. But what I want is for you to be comfortable and open with me. To tell me if something is bothering you. To be vulnerable with me, because you trust me. Is that alright, my love?"
"Of course, Sanji," you inched closer to him, a hand reaching out to take his. He let you, and brushed his knuckles against the inside of your wrist, watching you squirm at how it tickled.
"Do you not want to have sex with me, sweetheart?" He asked clearly. You flinched at that, and he could see the torment you were facing bubble up to the surface. "It's alright, love. Just tell me what you really think. I understand if I'm not appealing in th–"
"No!" You interrupted, looking at him with a pout. "It's not that. God, Sanji, you drive me insane all the time. I would have to be blind to not appreciate your figure."
"Then is it something else?" He asked seriously, hand now coming up to cup your cheek. You leaned into his touch, giving him a sad smile.
"Of course I want to… do it with you," you flushed, embarrassed at having to say that aloud. "I want it but… I don't want you to see me."
"You don't want me… to see you?" Sanji repeated, unsure of what you meant. Your hand came up to hold his where it rested on your cheek.
"I… have stretch marks," you looked embarrassed. "Maybe it's stupid to you– it probably is, but I know it's not what is considered appealing. I know I'm… not as slender as you might prefer, and I'm just… scared that you would look at me and feel disgusted. Feel like you made a mistake and break us off. I know!" You stressed it when Sanji looked like he was about to say something, "I know that you're kinder than that. But I don't want to lose you. I don't want to see you looking at me with disgust. I don't care about my stretch marks but when I think of you seeing them… I feel like I would rather die."
"Shh," Sanji shook his head, upset at your words. "What are you saying, my love? As if something like that is enough to shake my love for you. I can't even begin to tell you where my love for you begins or where it ends, because it's fathomless and so much that it scares even me. Any marks on your body are a part of you. I'm sure even they are as beautiful as the rest of you."
"Really?" Your voice was meek, wanting reassurance but also not wanting to be burdensome.
"Let me show it to you," he whispered, gently lowering you onto your back. The action made your shirt ride up a little, revealing the white and red marks. You squirmed and raised your head to see what Sanji planned to do.
A gasp left your lips when he placed a soft peck on one, marking the path to the next without lifting his lips. The action tickled you and a warmth pooled into your gut, along with the understanding that Sanji would never be disgusted by you or your marks. He would love every inch of you.
"They are like lightning," he whispered into your skin, warm breath fanning the cool surface, causing you to shiver. "Like pathways mapping the surface of the temple of the goddess I worship. Like waves crashing into the ocean, for me to appreciate, along with every part of you. I could never hate them, or you, sweetheart. Every part of you is meant to be worshipped, to be sung prai–"
"Alright," you choked, feeling overwhelmed. He kissed you in between as he spoke, careful never to move downwards or to make the act sexual. Every part of it felt like he was whispering and etching reminders of his love into your skin, like carefully tucked in notes in the folds of your flesh. "Sanji. Sanji, come up here."
He hovered above you for a few seconds, blue eyes misty with want before he gently lowered himself next to you on his bed. You swallowed the thick lump in your throat as you cupped his cheeks and took in every inch of his face, took in the blonde hair falling into his eye– and couldn't help but think.
"Heavens, I love you more and more each day, Sanji."
Think that contrary to what he believed, the lucky one was actually you.

Criminal minds team reaction to a super tall muscular agent with tattoos/piercings?
Um, yes? But like, gotta project a little bit so he's insecure lmao
You were a new agent, working for the BAU, finally getting the transfer from organised crime you had practically been begging for for the last two years. You had met Agent Hotchner (or Hotch as you had been told to call him) and Agent Rossi (or Rossi), both respectable men who seemed pleased to have you on the team. But today was your first official day working for them.
You weren't allowed to have the majority of your piercings in whilst at work, only the three in your ears and your septum, provided you took that one out should you need to talk to members of the public. Your tattoos started at the base of your neck and stopped just above your wrists, enough that a long sleeved shirt with a collar hid them.
You stepped out of the elevator, taking a small moment to try and gather yourself before you walked into the ballpen.
"Well who is this hunk of handsome?!" Penelope asked, jaw dropping as you walked into the room. Your shoulders curled inwards with embarrassment as you rubbed your neck, cheeks dotting with red.
"Er, I'm (Y/N)," You answered, "I'm looking for Hotch or Rossi?"
"(Y/N)," Rossi grinned as he walked up to you, patting your arm when he reached you. "Glad to see you made it okay,"
"Thank you sir," You nodded.
"What have I told you?" Rossi sighed.
"Sorry, Rossi." You correct yourself, Rossi gave a small nod as Hotch approached the group.
"(Y/N), nice to see you again."
"You too, s-" You cut yourself off, "Hotch."
Hotch turned to Garcia, "Garcia, play nice, he's joining the team."
"Oh really?" Garcia asked, seeing the unimpressed look on Hotch's face she sighed. "I'm Penelope Garcia, Knower of All."
"I'm (Y/N) (L/N), Agent of America?" You offer, unsure.
"I like you," Penelope grinned before she turned to Hotch, "We've got a case."
"Gather the team," Hotch said. Penelope nodded, before rushing off. When she left, he turned back to you, "You get used to her, she means well," He said fondly.
You nodded slightly, unsure of what exactly to say. "Come on, kid, you need to meet the rest of the team." Rossi said, patting your arm once more.
Derek's eyes widen as you walk into the room, when Garcia had told him that the new team member was tall and muscular he had been expecting maybe someone six foot, but you stood at about six foot five, built well (to say the least), with a septum piercing, stretchers in your ear lobe, a helix piercing, and an industrial piercing. And, based on the darker tones that showed through your shirt, you were inked too.
You all made quick introductions before you sat down, immediately turning your attention to Penelope before heading off to the case.
After the case was finished, Rossi had decided to hold a family dinner at his (with instructions to bring swimwear - apparently, he had recently had a pool installed). You agreed to go, despite feeling slightly out of place, making sure to wear the trunks under your jeans as it was easier and made sure that you brought clothes in your rucksack.
An hour after dinner (you didn't want to get cramp in the pool because you weren't sure whether or not that was a myth and you weren't about to embarrass yourself in front of your team just yet), you all went into separate rooms to get dressed. You kept your t-shirt on for a bit, planning on only taking it off when you went into the water.
Walking out into the garden, you plopped yourself on a chair, tuning in to the conversation. "I'm just saying that statistically speaking, the most common birthday in the US is September 9th,"
"Really?" You asked, "That's my birthday,"
"Seriously?" Morgan asked, you nodded.
"Yep," You said, "What can I say? I'm a Basic Bitch,"
When JJ and Emily joined the group, Emily grinned, "Pool time?"
Morgan grinned as he and Emily both cannon-balled in, when he resurfaced, he turned to you all, "You joining us?"
You stood up after the others, pausing for a moment before taking your shirt off and leaping into the pool.
"Oh my God, he has a nipple piercing?! Are you guys seeing this?!" Penelope exclaims, slapping her hand against Emily and JJ's arms.
"I did not see that coming..." Emily muttered, JJ nodding in agreement.
"Do you... do you reckon down there is...?" Penelope asked, giving them both raised eyebrows and a smirk. Emily and JJ both rolled their eyes.
"For God's sake, Penelope, focus," JJ laughed.
"I can't, he's too dreamy."

Pairing: James Potter/Reader

You couldn’t help it. When everyone left for classes, you crept into the Marauders dorm and climbed into James’ bed. You stayed there all day. You felt safe surrounded by his scent and his things. You knew that he could always make you feel better, but you pulled the blankets up to your neck. That's where you stayed as you cried yourself to sleep.
You woke to the sound of the door opening and someone gasping. You didn’t care who it was, if they spoke to you, you’d just ask for James. You only wanted your best friend.
You didn’t hear the sounds of anyone approaching, but when you see them crouch down and see James himself in front of you, you whisper, “Jamie, you’re here.”
“Hey love,” he whispers back in response. He waves his wand and a glass of water appears in his hand. He hands it to you, and you drink it, before he waves it away as he looks at you sadly, “What’s wrong?”
“Jamie, I hate myself. I need you. Being around you makes me feel better.”
He smiled at you softly before he asked, “can I climb in with you?”
You hum in response as you open the blankets for him. You let go of them as he takes off his shoes and then climbs in next to you. He wraps the blanket around both of you, before he wraps his arms around you.
“Why do you hate yourself, love?”
“I feel fat. I look ugly. I can’t stand looking in the mirror. I don’t think anyone but you really likes me.”
“I need you to look at me, lovey,” James told you kindly, which made it hard to resist, you looked up at his beautiful and kind blue eyes. “Do you trust me?”
“Yes,” you didn’t lie about that. He was the only person you knew you could trust to tell you the truth, even on days like today, when you didn’t even trust yourself.
“Then trust me when I say this,” he tells you honestly as you look at different parts of his face; seeing his beauty, since looking in people’s eyes for too long would become uncomfortable. He didn’t mind and you knew that, as long as you listened. “You are the most beautiful person I know; inside and out. You may not believe it, but I’ll prove it and show you everyday, because I wish I could date someone like you.” He paused as you stopped looking at him and cuddled into him. “No, not someone like you. I wish I could have the courage when you’re not having a day like this, but I want to date you.”
“What about Lily?”, you whispered back.
“What about he-,” he cut himself off, before slowly saying, “I haven’t been flirting with her.” He kissed the top of your head. “I was flirting with you, but when they first asked me, I was embarrassed to say I was flirting with you. You were right there. I was worried you’d reject me and we’d go from being best friends to being awkward around each other to being people the other used to know.
“Jamie,” you knew he could hear the catch in your throat and that he’d probably realise you’d been crying, but they were no longer sad tears. “I’ve loved you since second year.”
He paused. “Really?”
You smiled and nodded, “yeah.” You paused cuddling into his warmth and yawned, lifting one of your hands to cover your mouth.
You listened as he told you, “I’ll spend the rest of my life showing and telling you how much I love you.”
You yawned again and he kissed the top of your head again, and rubbed your back as you whispered, “I love you, James.”
As you fell asleep, you could’ve sworn he whispered, “I love you too, angel.”
———————————
LATER THAT DAY
———————————
You woke up later that day still in James’ arms, with him holding you really close to him. One of his arms was rubbing your back gently and the other holding you as he leaned down to kiss the top of your head.
You hummed contentedly and James whispered, “Love, are you awake?”
You hummed again before yawning and then answered, “yeah, Jamie. Just woke up.”
“I have something I want to officially ask you,” he asked as you moved up slightly so the two of you were face to face.
You lifted your hand up to his cheek, he sighed and closed his eyes, “what is it?”
He opened his eyes, kissed your palm before asking, “I love you and from what you said before, you love me.” He paused and you nodded before he finally asked, “will you go out with me?”
Slowly you started smiling as you moved your hand down to his waist, hugging him, before you answered, “yes, I’d love to.”
You moved closer to him and pecked his lips.
“Do you feel any better now, my love?”
You looked at him as he cupped your cheek, closing your eyes and enjoying his touch. “Whenever you're around, I always feel better. I’m not back to 100% but you make me feel safe and you’ve always found a way to silence the voices. However, unlike today, it's usually your antics or the pranks that help to silence them enough that I stop paying attention to them as much.”
He smiled, before he moved closer, kissing you, with so much love and affection that you melted against him, before he pulled back.
“Are you hungry?”
You think for a moment before your stomach rumbles, answering for you.
He smiled before he kissed you. When he pulled back, he looked in your eyes, “I’ll go get us some food, my love. Is there anything specific that you’d like?”
You told him what you felt like eating and he smiled, before he said, “I’ll be back soon. Wait here?”
“Where else would I want to be?”
He gave you a peck on the cheek before he left, which made you blush. When he came back, he sat next to you before calling one of the house elves, who appeared with trays of food which slowly levitated over to the bed.
Both of you thanked the house elf before they disappeared.
He smiled at you before he leaned over to give you a quick kiss. The two of you ate and just spent the rest of the evening together.
Even when the rest of the guys came in, he just held you close as he talked to them. You joined in the conversation at times, and they were just as happy as always to see you.
That was one thing you loved about his friends; even before you became friends with them, they always included you when you were with James. All of them made you feel welcomed. With that thought, you turned and kissed James’ cheek and snuggled more into his side.

Insecure werewolf x insecure human would be so cute,,,, maybe she's self conscious about not being light enough to lift or smt? And. He can just do it with one hand. Both are flustered because they think they don't deserve the other
I LOVE THIS especially considering I myself am a fat person<3
Your poor werewolf is always gazing at himself with sadness whenever he passes a mirror, much like you do. He pokes at his not-so-defined muscles with disappointment, and has even more disdain for his plush belly and thighs.
But all these soft bits of himself that he hates, he absolutely ADORES on you<3
He loves digging is paws into your squishy tummy when he hugs you from behind, although is disappointed when you nervously push his hands away and turn around. As much as he loves seeing your face, he knows why you do it. But he doesn’t understand why.
I mean, you’re the most beautiful creature to ever walk the earth. Why can’t you see that? He just wants to lift you in his arms and squish you to his chest and never let go<3
He just doesn’t understand why you won’t let him pick you up :(
At first he thinks it’s because you think he’s weak, and he feels down about that for a while. But eventually you notice and you tell him that you’ve had bad experiences regarding your weight and being picked up.
Immediately he’s reassuring you that he would never ever tease you about that, and that he adores your body so so much<3
Eventually you cave in and agree to let him pick you up, immensely worried that he grabs ahold of you with one arm. And even more surprised when suddenly you’re off the ground and pressed snugly to his fluffy chest. You squeak in surprise, but find that his arm under your thighs is quite stable and decide to snuggle into his neck.
He almost makes a purring noise from this, so proud of himself for making you feel comfortable<3
AAAA I HOPE THIS WAS OKAY🫶🫶
