so Lily Orchard made a video about Hazbin Hotel and it's kind of odd, tbh?

her coverage of the working / pay conditions basically boils down to 'animators just need to unionize' (seriously, she spends barely any time on it at all), which like, unionization would definitely help but it doesn't let Viv/Spindle off the hook for poor management in the meantime, & it's baffling to me that she implies otherwise. If Lacakdaisy and (as far as we know) other indie productions like Far-Fetched can behave professionally, why can't Spindle? (also like, absolutely zip mention of how the pilot cast were treated. nada. nothing.)

the entire hope of the indie scene was that it could grind up less animators than big studios do, & sweeping all that under the carpet is so deeply unempathetic to me. so animators being subject to poor deadlines, favoritism, unprofessional behavior, having their work literally stolen from them or going uncredited and then getting blocked when they try to correct it is no big deal, apparently? (which strikes me as funny bcause Orchard's work is so obviously inspired by The Jimquisition and Stephanie Sterling's work constantly critiques the game industry for its poor working conditions even though they also don't have unions)

a lot of the vid has this undercurrent of 'Viv has a big hatedom just for being a bi woman of colour and hatedoms are always bad and parasocial' and like - yes, I agree Internet mobs are bad. Yes, I agree people can get into a parasocial hatred of someone just as easily as parasocially loving or defending them. Yes, I agree someone who isn't straight, white or male is more likely to attract haters. And yes, I agree a lot of the criticisms of Viv are stupid.

my problem with this framing is it lumps in all criticims of Viv with the stupid ones. Again, does Lily Orchard not care about people being underpaid, overworked or uncredited? Does she expect unionizing to solve all the immediate issues people have faced with Spindle in the meantime? Also like - what Viv has done herself to feed this toxic environment goes totally unacknowledged. Viv's bad faith framing of her critics and multiple defensive threads get no mention, & Lily's video implies that only the critics of Vivzie are toxic and doesn't mention at all how bad /much worse some of her supporters are. none of the bullying and silencing attitudes from her fans get brought up; it's not like it would be hard to find when researching critiques of the show to see how even big creators like Cartoonshi were harassed into never covering it again.

I find her attitude towards the writing of HH odd, too. I understand why she doesn't like cartoons dragging their heels and stretching things out (goodness knows HB has been wheel spinning basically its entire second season and Western Energy was a complete waste of an episode), but calling HH's pacing 'breakneck' is generous. There's no time to breathe and none of the nuance or quiet moments she claims to want more of in other shows.

If the show is also about Heaven&Hell being an unjust sorting system as Lily claims, why isn't that more clear in the writing? Why is the viewer simultaneously supposed to believe Hell is full of murders and etc. but also is just full of people being unjustly persecuted. Even Angel Dust, the one character we're supposed to believe has developed the most, was a gangster in his human life & presumably killed people along the way, none of which the show bothers to examine even though his sister made it to Heaven and he didn't. (she has said she has no interest in helluva boss, which is a shame because I would have been curious to see if she would have convienently ignored the bootlicking praise for Stolas and the misogyny in the writing just because she seems to feel Viv is getting unfairly criticized)

she has said she's making a follow up that's more about the voodou issue, which she does agree is a problem, but idk. I just find it odd to watch a video where someone is willing to be critical of how voodou is represented, but the additional problem of real harm being done to up and coming animators is treated as not worthy of discussion. I think representation should be critiqued as much as the next person, but aren't the actual materia conditions faced by people working on the show as important, if not more important, than that?

A YouTube animation critic screenshotted my post about being disturbed that teens are so accustomed to corporate censorship of language around death, sex, and queer identities- something which, to be clear, I never blamed them for -that they use their workaround terms even on social media that doesn't require it, and called me an "insufferable Boomer." (I looked up who Lily Orchard was because this was so context-free that I genuinely assumed it was copypasta at first.)

The tweet currently has...hang on...3 retweets and 11 likes. So approximately 14 people on Twitter are like. Lightly annoyed at me. People who run in none of the same circles I do, who didn't know I existed yesterday and won't remember me tomorrow.

And that inspires this much vitriol in you?

Huh.

Saltbox: A Little Women Inspired Build

The Saltbox style home is a New England staple. Built during the colonial period of American history, these homes were simple and functional.

One of the most famous colonial era homes is Orchard House, where Little Women author Louisa May Alcott lived with her parents and sisters, and was almost a character in the novel itself. To bring your cozy autumn to a close this year, I wanted to create a house inspired by the Alcott home, in all its eclectic warmth. Like Orchard House, this build is early colonial in architecture but mid-19th century in furnishing and decor. Where possible, I’ve tried to keep the appliances and plumbing off-the-grid, as a nod to the time period. It has a kitchen, dining, formal parlor, sitting room, mud room, three bedrooms, and a flexible attic space to stage all your childhood plays. This build is very CC heavy, but I have included a sortable CC list and folders this time which should allow you to only keep the Build CC and eliminate the Buy if you’d rather furnish it yourself CC-free.

sorry who is sivi and what happened?

hey!! so synopsis is that sivi was tonysopranobignaturals/death2america and she was a very popular blogger that blogged a lot about her mental health/illness. her posts were an inspiration to me (and a lot of others!) and helped me come to terms with my own mental health. recently, a blog that was called the "most annoying tumblr users poll" put sivi in the bracket alongside known pedophiles, racists, antisemites, and sixpencee as if she was the same level as they were, just because she was a popular blogger.

(it wasnt just sivi. people like demilypyro, were-ralph and doublecast were there too, even tho those three just happen to be popular bloggers. quite a few people who were just popular bloggers are trans women. btw)

sivi expressed that the poll was making her extremely paranoid, and that some people were harassing everyone that was in it like they were all on the same level as, say, lily-orchard. she deactivated about an hour later and no one has heard from her since and everyone is worried.

i really hope that shes okay. she is not annoying and is a genuinely good person and was an extremely smart and funny person as well. if someone finds out that sivi's okay and makes a post can someone send it to me? because im worried thanks

I have to say, the way that Lily, Poppy and Zena, Lio Convoy, Hopeless Peaches, Patch and who knows how many others dramas seem to have unraveled around the same time and to be somehow intertwined between each other has given me quite the whiplash.

I mean, not big losses for me personally but Jesus, I hope those that had their trust broken by them can find some peace in the future

I've half-jokingly said for a while that most if not all the rot in cartoon fandom spaces can be traced back to Lily. She was one of the first toxic content creators to get a sizeable following, and a lot of the more antagonistic rhetoric either came directly from her or was inspired by her.

Then a bunch of other predatory and toxic creators started popping up and taking inspiration from her playbook. They saw the shit she continuously got away with. They'd go after her for drama views, but would refuse to cover anything damming for one reason or another.

Lily Orchard has been the cracked door that predators and abusers have been slipping through for years.

Gotta admit Peaches was a surprise though.

Who Is Lily Orchard?

Well the short version is that she's a youtuber who rose to fame during the MLP day's as an analyst, as well as a writer for her own comic called "Poke-Madhouse" and "The Sith Resurgence".

She is most famous for her "Steven Universe is Garbage and Here's Why" video.

But of course, if it was that simple, there woudn't be so many blogs talking about her.

Lily has repeadetly abused, lied and taken advantage of others. She has written pornographic content involving minor's, engaged in smear campaigns and so many other issues that it would take forever and a day to cover.

But don't just take my word for it. Below, you'll find a link to various google drives, documents and screen shots. In other words, evidence and proof of her actions. (The list is not complete in it's current form. If you can think of anything else that should be added to the list/receipts that I'm missing, let me know so that I can include them.)

The Receipts:

The Lily Orchard Fan Pack : This archive has a lot of documents that come from her Bhaalspawn days. From fan fictions, games, to her Yahtzee inspired sprites. The above link will bring you to a Tumblr post with the link to the drive. (It offers a more in depth explanation), but if you just want to skip to the doc itself, just click here.

The Lily Orchard Archive: This archive contains a lot of information that I didn't know about. It has links to some of Lily's old YouTube video's from her Bhaalspawn days that have been preserved on Daily motion. It has archives of Lily's old NSFW blog. And it links to a few other people that I have not talked about here.

However, there is dead naming, and links to the 8chan boards. But I think for the archives it does hold, this is an important link.

The Brittany Logs: Brittany was an old friend of Lily's, whom Lily cut contact with because Brittany wasn't playing World of Warcraft fast enough for her liking. (No really.), However, if that was the only problem, this wouldn't have been linked. Oh, no. Lily, using her alter ego Tara Callie, would try to pressure Brittany into being sexual with her.

Tara Callie's Blog: Who is Tara Callie? Well, outside of being Lily's sock puppet account, she was also supposedly Lily's ex-girlfriend. A runaway from Colorado, she was apparently in an incestuous relationship with her sister before her sister passed away. She would then die in a car crash before coming back a few days later after people expressed sadness over her passing, and finally, was apparently arrested for possession of CP and was never seen or heard from again.

Blake: This is another person who used to be friends with Lily back in the day, during the same time as Brittany. Just like Brittany, Blake was getting sexually harassed by Tara Callie, in an attempt to trick them into being sexual with Lily. Their friendship appears to have degraded with Blake's mental health to a nose dive, and instead of offering them a helping hand or support, Lily instead chose to further isolate Blake from the friend group, started to insult them for getting into video making, and finally ending the friendship when Blake made a post about Tumblr feminism that Lily didn't agree with.

Lily's First Swatting Claim: On October 11, Josh makes a tumblr post (read it here), stating that he is no longer going to maintain his silence on Lily. The next day, Lily claims to have gotten swatted (read that post here).

Animechristy: Who is Animechristy? Well, she's an artist whose work Lily used without permission in one of her videos, and then proceeded to make an entire glass of waters video about after admitting to deliberately causing the situation out of spite. You can watch the video here. Lily, of course, conveniently leaves out sources for a lot of this, so here are some that I found.

Period Comment, Knob Comment, respect the artist #1, Lightning Bliss blocks Lily, Lily's video gets copyrighted, Lily getting mad that someone suggests Christy was in the right, Lily comparing this situation to digital homicide, Lily showing off the copyright claim.

The Opal Situation: Opal was a fan of Lily's who committed the sin of not drawing Lily's puppet with the correct proportions. Rather than discussing this in private, Lily blasted Opal in the open, leading to Opal getting harassed by Lily's other fans. (You can see the original post here.)

Lizzy's Story: If you've followed Lily's content for any period of time, you've probably heard about Lizzy, Lily's ex fiancée. Lizzy has come out with her side of the story, which you can read on her twitter in the following links: Part 1, Part 2, Further testimony.

Edit: Since I was reminded of this, here's a link to the receipts that documented the mob Lily has sent to harass her ex.

Cypher: Cypher is an ex friend of Lily's who'se relationship ended over World of Warcraft shipping discourse. The reason this is notable, is because Lily began to start a smear campaign against Cypher almost immediately after she ended their friendship. Here's the receipt, including Cypher's testimony.

What the deal with Keffals?

Lily was trying to get close to Keffals for a few months. Appearing in her discord server and streams. However, Keffals then spoke to Zena & Poppy, (you can see video here) and Lily seems to be very bitter about this, if these receipts are anything to go by:

Just to get ahead of the curve and to save my future self some headache, Lily has been vague posting about someone, and currently many people think it's carousel. This has not been confirmed yet.

The Patch Drive: Patch has a video up on YouTube explaining their story that you can watch here, but the Google doc has more evidence in it for those who are interested in the receipts. The long and short of it; Patch was an artist who turned to Lily for help after being abused by ToonKritic. Lily would then take advantage of their vulnerability to draw nsfw art work they weren't comfortable with.

Stockholm: Ah yes, the infamous Stockholm. The fic contains sexual assault of minors as young as 13, nsfw scenes and bad writing. The Story follows Rainbow Dash and Fluttershies relationship, as they fall in love, get married, and have kids... among other things.

To be blunt, it's underage porn.

Fics from the Dark Lady Server: I realized I still had the Google doc for these, so I'm going to share it here. These are the fics that Lily shared in the now cancelled, Dark Lady Server. I haven't read them, but considering broken champion starts with trigger warnings for Rape, Torture and Abuse, I'm going to guess these aren't family friendly.

E621 Account: Lily's account on the site was found, and held quite an interesting array of art work... dealing with underage individuals. She has indirectly revealed that the account in question was in fact hers, and she apparently made a second account that got found out and deleted. You can find the OG links here.

Sankaku Account: Lily's other p*rn account that was found under the name of EbaraTara. This one is far more upsetting, as it involved a lot more realistic paedophilia than the other one.

A few things to note about this account is that two of the artists who were favourite have been caught using real children as references for their works. These artists are called Kaneda and masked.

to answer the first anon, yes, i have seen it. as someone that is deep into this trash hole that is LO's existence online, sometimes it's a good thing to have someone completely unrelated come and reaffirm that yes, this is trash. yes, this is upsetting. yes, normal people don't do the kind of things LO does. yes, it makes sense for people to talk about it given the sheer amount of trash that LO is. yes, there are people who also want to look into the trash. i have never seen this vtuber (i first thought they were supposed to be sans inspired as a human but idk) so i don't know about his audience or content. i guess as long it brings more eyes upon what LO has done, that is a good thing.

I'm making content!

Hullo, I'm Vism! I'm an adult, and i'm Gender Apathetic, so use any pronouns you want, it makes no difference to me.

Madhouse is a webcomic/blog created and written by Lily Orchard and drawn by Mikaila Orchard, where their fictional counterparts live out a happy slice of life existence together with their Pokémon.

The reality is, however, that the comic has become about a romantic relationship Lily has with the Gardevoir in the story, as they have both confessed to it in-story multiple times. A story intent on deconstructing the degeneracy they see in the fandom has turned into just becoming said degeneracy, all while trying desperately to convince you it hasn't.

It has given me some inspiration, however! thus... I am rewriting the story of Lily's PokeMadhouse!

I will post character redesigns, story beats, fanfiction, artwork, and perhaps even small comics. Asks are highly appreciated, ask about anything you want to know before i'd talk about it myself, or send me art prompts, even! I'll answer any ask eventually unless it's hostile

Y’all wanna know something really interesting?

When I started writing the original version of “The Crow’s Calling” I was massively inspired by Lily and Mikaila Orchard’s “The Sith Resurgence” because I liked the ideas it was putting down. At first I thought Aliana was a compelling character and her philosophy about the Force and the Sith was interesting. So I wanted to do something similar but with the prequels.

However, after examining “The Sith Resurgence” and seeing how many issues there are with the characters and the writing and the main character always having to be right, I realised that this story isn’t all that good. Ignoring the stuff about Aliana being a coloniser, her mother being a slave trader (which Rey should have been able to be mad about, not just for angst but for the sake of character development), it’s just not very well executed.

So after I started to severely dislike Lily Orchard and realise how much she sucks as a person, I wanted to do something different with “The Crow’s Calling”. The premises are the same, ie. a Sith who is on the run meets a canon cast of characters and falls in love with one of them while also challenging the characters’ worldviews about the darkside and the Sith themselves.

However, unlike Aliana, Savi is not always correct. Savi is a character who learns. Savi had no faith in democracy at first because the Republic had failed them and their family, they disliked Jedi regardless of who they were, and they were committed to being alone and away from anyone, at first content to let the Republic fall to war. But over the course of the story, Savi learns that there are those in the Republic who want to fight for others, they learn that there is value in trusting others again, and they rock the boat by just being a sibling-like figure to Anakin.

What Savi wants is to just collect their family’s holocrons and then fuck off. But what they need is to be a boat rocker, they need to step outside of their comfort zone and allow themselves to love again while coping with grief.

Aliana on the other hand... she wants the Sith to be recognised and she eventually wants to establish a new Sith Empire. She wants to get into Rey’s pants. But what does she actually need? It’s implied that she too needs to open up and allow herself to meet others within the narrative but then the narrative itself shoots that down. Leia and Luke within TSR are treated poorly and mischaracterised, Aliana is never allowed to be wrong. She Force lightnings an old woman because the old woman made a snippy comment.

What are Aliana’s flaws? Besides surface level stuff, I don’t see her changing much in her story. She gets a girlfriend but her disdain for the Republic and the Jedi hasn’t changed. She doesn’t get challenged at all as a character. And that feels boring to me.

TL;DR: I think I am writing a better Star Wars fanfic than my former idol.

My email hasn’t been working at all lately so I’ll just post this here. The rise in popularity of the fantasy of two lesbians running away to enjoy a fluffy cottagecore life was my inspiration for this. I think the theme is very fitting for such a soft relationship like Lily and Mikaila’s and I simply could not resist drawing them like this. So, according to Lily Orchard...

Seriously, what the hell is it with Lily and her massive hatred for anime as well as Japanese culture? My guess is that-like most misinformed idiots-her only exposure to anime was through “research”; and by “research”, I mean she just looked at a bunch of cherry-picked, out-of-context online screenshots/video clips of fanservicey moments in random anime (including acclaimed classics like Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist and others) and decided not only did they represent their entire respective series, but that those same fanservicy moments represented an ENTIRE MEDIUM!

And of course, the only so-called “anime fans” Lily ever met were 4Chan Neo-Nazis-the ones who defaced her cartoon avatar-and since Lily adores the “Hitler Ate Sugar” fallacy, she has convinced herself that 4Chan Neo-Nazis represent the quality of ALL anime. Once again, Gromit, speak my feelings:

It’s hilarious how Western media is filled to the brim with raunchy sexual content (see Belgian, French and Italian comics, "Metal Hurlant" etc.), yet holier-than-thou Helen Lovejoys like Lily barely bat an eye at them. But whenever characters like Feye Valentine, Winry Rockbell and Olivia Mira show the tiniest bit of skin or sexual liberation, they cry “Weeaboo spankbait! Women and Girls are in danger!! Won’t somebody think of the children!!!” When you step back, you realize this is all just regurgitated “Yellow Peril” rubbish.

In other words...
