Louis Vuitton and Scarves

I’m not sure if that title made you want to click or roll your eyes but let me give you some backstory. Brett Frizzell, one of my best friends in the world, passed away last year. He was one of the most positive people I knew. He was from Los Angeles and was all about spreading cool beach vibes. One day to playfully make a point he told my wife, “it isn't always Louis Vuitton and Scarves”. That was his humorous way of informing her that life isn't always a good time. That is exactly how I’m feeling about parenting the last few days. It has been quite the challenge. I recently sent my friend who is an expecting father for the first time a book. I decided maybe I should read one too and I’ve been practicing patience and better approaches to certain reactions from my kids. The issue is that they aren't reading and practicing new approaches to me. Can you see the conflict there? I’m actually looking into a theory that they know I’m trying to be patient and are acting extra aggressive to push me. You ever considered fighting a 2 year old? I was THIS CLOSE. What makes it more frustrating is that they will do something totally adorable the next moment but I’m too petty to acknowledge it. Tomorrow is Pizza Friday though so I expect better behavior. We are asked to post what the gym means to use. For all who don't know me I'm Wayne DeVaughn I'm no one special but 4 plus years ago I was diagnosed with ms after losing my vision for a week. . Last year I lost use of 80% of my body and was told I might never get it back. Now trust me when I say losing control of your body no matter how hard you fight is scary. Allot in my boat quit but I made it my goal to save as many people as I could through staying healthy and fighting my disease showing them how to fight no matter what. . @metfit_trainingfacility is my gym and is the place I use to help motivate every sick person I can to keep going this is the last 2 lifts I got before the gym close. This is one year after I lost 80% use of my body I fought back with everything I had and am still pushing. I'm driving 45 minutes to a buddies gym to keep fighting. While mass is closing everything and making people hide. When I have a gym willing to help people fight down the road. . Running from disease is not the way you fight it and forgetting every other sick person and disease is not the way to build unity I'm asking everyone to stand up and fight.
