Hey, just a little self plug, but if you like following me on here, then you’ll love following me on my Instagram @ witch_studying! I post more often on there than I do on here, and I’m currently doing the 100 days productivity challenge over there as well, so go check me out!
continuing the star wars themed month, here’s the cover!! i have to say, i’ve been journaling for three years now and done my fair share of spreads i have loved, but i truly think this might be my favorite ever! came together so easily. not like i could not love anything that even slightly has to do with star wars lmao. also wouldn’t be me if there wasn’t a mistake- yes, i am aware it says 2018 instead of 2019 🙄 i noticed while taking pics and fixed it later. oh well, here’s to not being perfect!
“Don’t give up” is super cheesy and overused so let me just say this: who do you think you are to believe that you don’t have to work for your dreams? How low is your mind that you think you, especifically, are less capable than the rest of the world? Someone has to win the race. Someone has to get the spot. Let it be you. Allow yourself to fight for your place. If the expectations are high, let them be high. Allow them to pull you up instead of bringing you down. Use high hopes in your advantage: keep your destination in mind, without daydreaming about it, but as a motivation to guide you. Don’t victimize yourself when you have every shot at being your own hero. You’re already alive, so live. You’re already here, on earth, so do something to make this place better. To make yourself better. Don’t just sit around and think that you’re so special that your dreams will fall on your lap, you have to work for them. You’re just like everyone else — and you have every chance at both failure and success as everyone else. If you fail, try again. I’m not kidding. Don’t give up on your long-term happiness because of some momentaneous fear. Take some responsibility for your own fate — and don’t give (it) up.
(something I wished someone said to me in the past, thought I’d share, in case someone else needs it)
