I have a love-and-hate relationship with Sundays. I feel like it’s a day when you can rest but also take care of yourself and your home, which can mean the same thing sometimes.

This morning I went to the grocery store, and I cooked a delicious Italian oven pasta for lunch. I also called my mom.

Tonight I worked with my bestie on our projects, and it feels good.

Things I need to do and did:

Make a nice desktop set-up for my pc

Clean my pc and iPad

Create that notion template

Find a job

Finish that book

Hello there,

I'm Melinda born and raised in Kuwait but ethically Indian. I'm not sure why i wanted to blog my journey as an International Student but i figured it would keep me sane especially when i'm going to be in an unfamiliar land

I'll be moving to Australia very soon and i'm already feeling alienated by it. I'm excited and anxious about whats to come. It will be challenging for sure but in return it will truly be a rewarding experience that i plan to tell my grandkids on how brave i was to move to another country to study and be with their grandfather

Journey Through Straya: Navigating Uncertainties, Window Shopping, and the Art of Mental Marathons Greetings! It has been a week since I acquired this journal, yet I find myself hesitating to put pen to paper. The transition to life here in Straya has left me feeling like I am in a constant state of adjustment. The challenge lies in figuring out where to begin, but there are moments when I sense a familiarity, as if I have become accustomed to the rhythm of things. The process is quite extensive, and I often wonder if I will successfully navigate through it. Despite the uncertainties, I decided to attend school today. I participated in my class, dedicating an hour to it. I worked on my project assessment and promptly submitted it, hopeful that it meets the required standards.

By 2 pm, I found myself exploring Market City, engaging in a bit of window shopping, and succumbing to the temptation of making a few purchases at Cotton: ON. The allure of browsing soon wore off, leading me to take a brief respite. However, a sudden realization prompted me to make a detour to the Apple Store. Navigating the bustling streets from George St. to the Apple Store, I arrived with a specific issue in mind, only to find the staff unable to provide a solution. After a short interlude, I embarked on yet another extended walk, vowing not to lug around my cumbersome laptop next time. It felt as though I was on a spontaneous hike!

At this moment, I find myself at Burwood Park, jotting down these thoughts. My mind is currently immersed in a mental marathon. Writing has proven to be a therapeutic escape, allowing me to ease my thoughts onto paper. Despite the temporary mental block, I trust that more words will flow at the right time.

What a busy day. First I had to go to my workplace to give my documents, and when I tell you travelling there took me more time than giving out the papers, trust me. Then, I had to run to send my university documents to the SFE, as I woke up late and missed the collection time.
