“Open it.”

Sesshomaru didn’t bother looking over his shoulder at his half-brother. His demonic energy surged, his heart beating erratically against his ribcage, the desire to move nearly consuming him. 

“Right.” 

With a swing of his sword, Inuyasha opened a meido in midair. Sesshomaru furrowed his brow, the scent of the wind shifting. 

“Find her, Sesshomaru.” 

He didn’t need Inuyasha to tell him that. Without hesitation, the demon lord leapt into the black abyss. It closed behind him, shutting him into the void. 

No matter the distance, Sesshomaru would travel through the fires of hell and back if necessary. He would do whatever fate demanded of him. 

He would find his miko.

This is a friendly reminder we are 23 days away from the end of the Takari shipping battle. It’s been also 23 years since I first saw zero two as a child.

Even as others told me to abandon this foolish endeavor and told me the ship will not set sail, in the face of the storm and the pounding rain and clouds and depths seeking to swallow me whole I said, “Nay but I will go to battle!”

Pressing forward into the endless abyss
