- Even though you and Joe only had first-period chemistry together, Joe 100% changed his route to his classes so he could walk you to yours.

- Though you had different lunches, Joe would usually skip lunch B because it was your free period. You two would drive over to the elementary school and volunteer there!

- When you met Robin and Jimmy, they immediately loved you. Your parents loved Joe just as much, if not more. Over time, a friendship formed between your parents too.

- Once your parents got to know each other better, you and Joe alternated going home with each other after school.

- You and Joe had a go-to restaurant that you'd go to, and there were many walks in the park between you two.

- In Chemistry, Joe would sneak your hands into the desk just to clasp his fingers with yours.

- To motivate Joe to study for his Chem tests, you'd come over to his house with homemade flashcards. Every question he got right, you’d kiss him.

- After Joe’s basketball games - that you were cheering at, of course - Joe put his letterman jacket over your shoulders till you had to part ways for the night, just to see it over your cheer uniform.

- Joe slowly became a big cuddle guy. After a tiring practice or just a long day of school, when you were over at his house, Joe would always end up with his head lying on your chest.

- Wherever one of you was, the other was there too. He was practically an honorary cheerleader because he was with the squad so much, only because of you, though.

- Everyone thought your relationship was adorable. Though Joe was teased by his teammates relentlessly for how whipped he was, they were aware of how much you meant to him and praised you for keeping their guy so happy.

- Joe asked you to prom months in advance. He found no reason to wait since he knew that you'd be his date.

- At prom, you and Joe slow danced for the first time, falling more in love with each other with every passing second.

- After prom was the first time you and Joe had ever made out. You two grabbed some fast food since you'd left the dance fairly early and were parked up in the empty parking lot. Joe leaned over the center console to kiss you, and it didn't stop for a solid ten minutes.

- Joe forced you to play football with him all of the time. If you were at his house, the majority of the time, you'd end up in the backyard with a ball.

- So many movie nights at the theater and in both of your living rooms.

- Joe became your spotter for learning new skills for cheer and gymnastics. You couldn't tell who was more excited when you'd perfected one, you or Joe.

- No matter what, Joe was always at your cheer competitions. Your mom even got him a shirt that had the team logo on the front and “cheer boyfriend” on the back. He wore it proudly.

- The last few days of Joe’s senior year ~ your junior year ~ were savored and bittersweet. It would be the last days you and Joe would both be in high school.

- You went to Joe’s graduation, of course, and sat between Robin and your mom. Cheering loudly when Joe walked across the stage for his degree.

- The doubts of your relationship lasting because of Joe moving to Columbus were in the back of your mind, but Joe promised you he would do everything he could do to assure your relationship would last. You were truly his everything.

- The day Joe moved into his apartment, he introduced you to his roommates before going out on a date. There, he would give you the promise ring that had been sitting in his drawer for months.

- Joe knew you were the one.
