Alters coming out of dormancy after several years:
A couple people recently started fronting again. No idea why, but our party is growing.

Think systems with a high number of fictional introjects are a new phenomena? Kluft's paper on polyfragmented/extremely complex DID from 1988 includes a patient with LOTR introjects, and another based off of Shakespear's Tempest. Fictional introjects have been a thing for a very long time!

i dont think enough people talk about the stress of losing your abilities. whether your an introject or a brainmade with exomemories it fucking sucks
like yes i lost my magic and a lot of things i had relating to that and i fucking hate how incapable and weak i feel without it but. like also. i was a scientist. and now im struggling on our basic math. and i feel like a fucking idiot. i was so much more than this and now im upset over geometry. what the fuck man

Heads up!
With everything that’s going on and what’s been confirmed about Wilbur, this is just a reminder that introjects/fictives are not their source! Many systems have taken comfort in things like fanfiction, music, and other media, and it’s not surprising that you would split someone based on that.
However, those introjects are not the cc! and his actions do not reflect in any way on them as people. Please don’t go and demonize c! and cc! Wilbur sourced introjects based on the actual content creators actions!
Anyways that’s all I wanted to say. -vvoidal

In favor of our most recent post about people making "DID fakers" bingo, I made my own DID bingo card. Feel free to fill it out and see if you have a bingo
–John
Edit: OSDD systems or UDD systems can do this too. Basically just systems in general –John

when you consume an entire piece of media (a series, movie, book, game etc.) without splitting an introject from it
