How They Like To Be Carried — Inuyasha Omegas
Tumblr media
Notes: I'm so sorry it took me this long to answer, the past few months have been wild with university and personal issues. But I'm gonna try and be more consistent, at least while I'm on summer break.
Warnings: Possible spoilers (principally on Naraku's), grammar mistakes, implied sex, and suggestive content
— Inuyasha:
»» As we all know this guy is a major tsundere, so he will deny and complain about you carrying him, even if deep down he loves it. You need to learn how to read his signs, similar to a dog's body language.
»» Now I'm a fan of making him flustered, so I would recommend doing it in front of his friends for a good laugh. But you need to keep in mind that he will not like you carrying him in front of others (who aren't his friends), principally if they're the enemy, even worse if it's Sesshomaru.
»» The guy has to keep his tough persona up and look intimidating, he cannot do it if he is red while you carry him. If you keep in mind those details, then you should be fine.
»» Inuyasha likes to be carried in any way, be on your back, shoulder and princess carried just to name a few, For him it doesn't matter how, as long as it's you doing it.
— Sesshomaru:
»» There is only one way Sesshomaru likes to be carried and it's princess style, which can be surprising considering his personality and cold demeanor.
»» But for his alpha, Sesshomaru does and enjoys things he didn't think it would be possible for him to even consider. We have to remember that this guy is obsessed with his alpha, so he can tolerate a lot of things.
»» For you to even be able to carry him there can be only three people seeing, you, him, and maybe Rin, since she is your pup now. If even Jakin is present to see it, the moment you think of carrying him, he's gone.
»» The moment you're going to carry him the most is during aftercare, he loves to be pampered, principally after sex, so expect to be carrying him a lot after the act.
— Tōga:
»» Tōga LOVES being carried, he doesn't care who sees it, or if people will start gossiping, or if he will embarrass his pups for being seen with you two.
»» He is also shameless, so he will ask you to carry him whenever he feels like it, and he will be smiling ear to ear and purring loudly, this man doesn't give a fuck.
»» He also loves carrying you, his alpha that he is really, REALLY obsessed with. If you don't like being carried he will only do it in the privacy of your home with only your pups to see.
»» Another frequent sight is Tōga carrying your pups around, doesn't matter their age, if they let him he will be seen just picking them up and walking around. But if they don't like it, it will be the same as when he does it to you.
»» Just like Sesshomaru he prefers the princess carry style, but he is not picky and will accept being carried in any way, shape, or form.
— Kōga:
»» Absolutly HATES being carried with a passion, but loves carrying you. Don't even try to argue is not gonna work.
»» Every time you try to carry him, he does the uno reverse card and carries you instead. But you can feel the almost unnoticeable purrs he gives when carrying you.
»» Honestly, if you don't like being carried either just stop trying to carry him and you should be fine, he won't normally go out of his way to carry you around.
»» The only moment you will be carried no questions asked and without you initiating it, it's if you need to escape for whatever reason since he is faster than most if not all with the jewel shards.
— Bankotsu:
»» This guy is the most neutral of all of them, he truly doesn't mind being carried, but it's also not something he likes, it's just indifferent.
»» Now, he does like teasing you when you go to carry him, saying something along the lines of "You really can't control yourself, huh?", he will make comments like this until you start blushing, this is the only part he actually likes about it.
»» But I feel like he is provocative to his alpha doesn't matter the occasion, it's just that you make it so easy when you like carrying him so much.
»» If he had to pick a style on being carried it would be a piggyback ride, he gets easy access to your ear, he can easily free himself if the need arrives and he can even provoke you if he feels like it.
— Naraku:
»» ABSOLUTELY NOT, hates even the idea of it and hates even more thinking of carrying you, he just despises the carrying altogether.
»» How he goes about it depends on if it's just Onigumo that loves you or if Naraku as a whole loves you. If it's just Onigumo you won't even have many opportunities to even think about it after the first offer, he will cut you off and maybe even avoid you.
»» If the entirety of Naraku loves you, then it's another story. He still hates the thought of it, but the way he acts about it it's different.
»» Either he lets you carry one of his incarnations/clones, or he will try to distract you with other things, considering the way he is if he didn't accept on the first ask, I recommend not trying again if you want to live.

So when Sesshōmaru says he plans to ask Kagura to marry him, and he doesn’t need Inukimi’s approval, she decides to get a little revenge on him, with help from his half-brother, Inuyasha. And at Tōga and Izayoi’s annual New Year’s Eve party, she decides to put her plan into action.
Too bad that Tōga and Izayoi figure out Inukimi’s plan, and decide to concoct a scheme of their own, to teach both Inukimi and Inuyasha a lesson.
As the clock finally strikes midnight, will everyone finally end up with the person they truly want?

Creator's Corner - Uissuteffu
How did you become a fan of the Inuyasha fandom?
Inuyasha wasn’t the first, but it was definitely the gateway to my love of anime. When the show was put on hiatus to wait for RT to finish the manga, I craved more! I started reading fanfic to fill the gap while I patiently awaited The Final Act.
What are your favourite fanfic tropes as a writer?
All the tropes! To me, fanfiction is about embracing fantasy. I avoid it in original writing, but tropes are fun to share with countless others in the community. I don’t know if I’ve met a (non-morally questionable) trope that I haven’t embraced.
And as a reader?
Haha! Same answer as above. I’m partial to pack dynamics and pining, though.
Which of your work is your personal favourite? The one you are most proud of?
Ikigai. I think it was probably my most unique premise, and I’ve spent a lot of time world-building. I have roughly three books worth of content prepared for it. Plus, it explores issues with mental health through various characters, and I think I’ve handled them with care. When readers leave comments affirming that, it makes me feel extremely proud.
Which SessKag fanfiction by another author is your go-to choice for a great read?
This is an impossible question! First of all, Gilded Sapphire contains many authors that I could list as my favorites. Anyone whose interview pops up in these spotlights likely has a story I’ve revisited several times. I’ll choose someone new to the server whose stories I often revisit. It’s still a hard choice, but I’ll go with Transgressions by Wonderbug (please heed the tags if you read it).
What do you think makes a good story?
A good story has one of two things: creativity or a strong grasp of language, and the ability to use it to invoke imagery. A great story has both!
Is there anything you need while writing? Snacks? Music? A comfy blanket?
Nope. My dynamic when it comes to writing is basically “If I fits, I sits”. I write in bed, in the shower, outside, inside, at the desk, on the couch, on my phone, on my tablet, on the pc. There’s no ritual to it at all.
How do you get your ideas? In your dreams? In the shower?
I don’t know, really. They just kind of hit, and I jot them down in Google Docs.
If you could meet an Inuyasha character, what would you tell them?
I’d like to meet Tōga so I could tell him he’s kind of an asshole for putting Sesshōmaru through that shit in the name of teaching compassion. THERE ARE BETTER WAYS, MY DUDE!
As a writer, which animal (real or otherwise) best describes you?
Can we consider yōkai animals so that I can say “Shirime”? They’re harmless, terrifying little creatures that thrive on scaring people. As a writer of primarily angst and horror, I’d say that’s fairly fitting. P.S. Don’t Google it. Just don’t.
What is your kryptonite as a writer?
I definitely struggle most with trimming dialogue. I’m selectively mute in real life, so conversation isn’t natural or instinctive for me, and I think that often shows in my writing.
What advice would you give someone who wants to start writing?
My answer to this is always a Stephen King quote from his (fantastic) book “On Writing”: “If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.”

Kirinmaru: Redeemed Villain
Tumblr media
Despite riku, the tree of ages, osamu kirin, and some others think, I really didn't see kirinmaru as the villain, more like zero, konton, totetsu, tokotsu, jakotsumaru, and kyuki.
Character
In the original, Naraku was the main villain everybody hated and the reason that he was despised because he had the elements that made him a great antagonist, something that kirinmaru completely lacked as he barely had a personality.
Kirinmaru is a daiyokai while Naraku was a hanyō who eventually ended up becoming a yokai at the end.
Naraku is a sadist who enjoys inflicting emotional pain on others, Kirinmaru seems to prefer granting swift and quick deaths to his enemies. The emotional pain that Kirinmaru causes others comes more out of a failure to account for collateral damage or consider the emotional well-being of those around him in his drive to fight the strongest foes he can.
Naraku would often bring the fight to Inuyasha's and sesshomaru's groups through allies, people he had tricked, or his incarnations, whereas Kirinmaru only acted when provoked such as when he was told the prophecy of his death or when towa, setsuna, and moroha were close to his ship. kirinmaru's incarnations, lieutenants, and zero battled against towa, setsuna, and moroha on their own initiative, not under orders to kill them from above.
The ones under Naraku’s command were often incarnations whose hearts he removed and threatened with death to ensure their obedience while the demons under Kirinmaru’s command are completely loyal to him with the exception of osamu kirin, riku, and Kyūki. While Naraku never cared about the lives of his incarnations and was willing to threaten and abuse them and would kill them if they failed or tried to betray him, Kirinmaru is apathetic towards his subordinates but he does at least acknowledge that anyone who serves under him must be a powerful warrior and while not above disciplining them himself, he was never shown to outright abuse his followers.
naraku rarely trusted anyone except for byakuya and kanna with anything including information, moments before her death, as he especially didn't trust hakudoshi, the infant, and kagura. While kirinmaru was too trusting as he didn't know osamu kirin, riku, and kyuki weren't loyal to him and easily betrayed him. naraku was very smart and calculating as he went all the way to mount hakurei to properly remove his heart after a failed attempt and nearly dying by sesshomaru and inuyasha's hands and defeat kikyo and knew when he created hakudoshi and the infant and knew that they were going to betray and kill him. kirinmaru was smart but he wasn't smart like naraku and wasn't calculating with others as he charges ahead without thinking.
Naraku would seldom resort to physical combat, relying on his barrier to protect him and his miasma to kill his foes. Kirinmaru not only fights directly in combat but lives to give his all against worthy foes.
While Naraku would flee from battle if the tables were turned Kirinmaru would stand, fight and fall even when fighting opponents stronger than himself, like Tōga.
Naraku saw himself as superior to all beings, human and demon alike, and especially despised hanyōs while Kirinmaru is at best apathetic to most beings. While he does hates humans and hanyōs, he still acknowledges the ones who gain his respect, such as the likes of Inuyasha, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha.
Naraku was cowardly and preferred to trick and manipulate others to fight his battles for him whereas Kirinmaru would openly face his opponents in combat.
Naraku would often take advantage when his enemies were weakened whereas Kirinmaru was insulted by this notion, preferring his enemies be at their strongest when he fights them as seen when he orders Riku to take medicinal herbs to his arch-rival Tōga.
naraku rarely lets his guard down as he always has his barriers and miasma while kirinmaru lets his guard down as he gets stabbed by his incarnation riku and towa and drugged by a human method by his other incarnation osamu kirin.
Whereas Naraku sought the Sacred Jewel and its power for himself Kirinmaru gave the Rainbow Pearls he had to his lieutenants and seemingly had no desire to retrieve the ones that were taken or the ones in possession of Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha.
Didn't act like a villain as seen during most of his appearances in season 1, kirinmaru was on his ship reading, sitting down, sleeping, and looking up at the sky.
Despite the Tree of Ages stating that Kirinmaru was power-hungry by wishing to warp time itself to his will, it was noted by Myōga that Kirinmaru was content in only ruling the Eastern Lands, which was supported by the fact that he left Tōga to govern the Western Lands in peace for years, with him expressing shock that Kirinmaru would be trying to rule the Western Lands and desires to warp time to his will and stating that he isn't the type to go this far.
Sure, kirinmaru tried to hunt and kill moroha once when she was a baby but soon gave up on it.
2. Nerfed
Kirinmaru should have been far more powerful than Naraku, yet he was nerfed for every fight with Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha. Why? To skip over a huge opportunity to develop Kirinmaru’s character and just claim he’s holding back.
I really wish Kirinmaru would’ve blocked Riku’s sneak attack with ease and just completely annihilate him. They spent the entire season 1 building him up to be a powerful daiyokai and to see him get stabbed and almost beaten up by a shihanyo and a hanyo is quite anti-climactic.
I understand that there was Toga and Sesshomarus blood/demonic energy involved but Kirinmaru coming out unscathed would’ve hyped an epic showdown in season 2 but what a way to completely disregard a character that was supposedly on par with Toga.
But the idea of a hanyo and a shihanyo squaring up against a great demon like kirinmaru and actually holding their own is still ridiculous. They, Towa especially, have not had nearly the amount of training with their abilities to have earned that battle. The girls are awfully overpowered. kirinmaru could have killed riku with ease but they may have wanted him to wound kirinmaru so towa, setsuna, and moroha would have a fighting chance.
Inuyasha had a deep story about the struggle of being half. He was an outcast from both sides, and his strength was limited by his half human heritage despite being the son of Toga. Sesshomaru bested him in most of their battles, and the only reason Inuyasha didn't die was because he allowed him to live. Inuyasha got stronger primarily through wielding and mastering Tessaiga's many forms and through making strong and useful allies. His demonic form, though it helped them get out of a few scrapes here and there, was a hindrance and a danger to himself and everyone around him.
In comparison, these girls have been kidding around for a whole season 1 and are now using their demonic energy like a super saiyan or jojos power up.
In season 2, kirinmaru was battling sesshomaru like equals but gets injured by towa's, setsuna's, and moroha's attacks and gets easily pushed back by osamu kirin.
3. Easily Persuaded
naraku was a master manipulator as he tricked many characters in the series including sesshomaru and kikyo while kirinmaru was easily manipulated by sesshomaru, jaken, zero, and even by his own incarnation osamu kirin.
4. Sudden Change
In season 2, kirinmaru was mostly received a character change. In season 1, you've noticed that he doesn't like grapes when eating one but in season 2 he's seen happily eating them.
In season 1 and a little bit of season 2, kirinmaru was disgusted by zero using rin as a human shield and didn't attack his rivals and enemies' love ones to hurt them but in episode 47 he went against his word.
In season 1, kirinmaru was an honorable daiyokai who was naive to an unstable and overprotective father.
5. For Plot
In season 1, we see in episode 23 that kirinmaru sees the grim comet through osamu kirin and in season 2 he wants to destroy it but the creators wrote that he wants to destroy it to be known as the strongest by humans, even though he despises them.
they tried to make kirinmaru have villain qualities during his fight with riku and rion by making rion stab riku.
we see kirinmaru show up to fight or start conflict.
Ex.
kirinmaru appearing before riku, towa, and rion to fight and accidentally blinding riku.
kirinmaru showing up and demanding sesshomaru to come out before battling inuyasha, kagome, and moroha.
kirinmaru battling riku and rion and kidnapping rion to go to the modern era.
kirinmaru and sesshomaru having a final battle and loses.
In episode 46, kirinmaru gets easily drugged by a human method.
Unlike naraku and his group that were easily off especially in the final act, only one person was brought back which sadly was riku.
6. Osamu Kirin
osamu kirin, who barely appeared in the series, was suddenly the villain of the last episodes of season 2.
osamu kirin has convinced himself that he is god's gift to humanity. osamu's whole situation is pretty hilarious, except that he's now in way over his head and has made the very bad decision to take on not just Kirinmaru, but probably also sesshomaru and inuyasha, and all other yokai out there, who he thinks need to be wiped out because rion died, even though she died at the hands of a hanyo not a yokai. As osamu is overzealous but confusing as he wants humanity to know about demons instead of being folklore yet he wants to kill them, even though rion is a yokai as well.
In the end, osamu kirin gets easily killed by riku and towa only to come back and emotionally tortures rion before getting permanently defeated.
7. Riku
He is one of the most awful characters in yashahime as he's more of a villain like zero. The creator of yashahime wants to disgustingly pair him with towa at the start of his debut but yet only wants to kill people he loves which includes zero and towa.
riku gave us a bad excuse on why he hates the 4 perils, even though they serve kirinmaru and zero, and manipulated everyone and themselves for them to be killed for the rainbow pearls.
riku taunted homura by touching tamano and evil smirking while homura burned himself alive.
Riku was very scheming and manipulative in Season 1, but he was not really punished by it back then; literally nothing that he did affected negatively his relationship with the people he cared about.
In this season, I expected the things he did in the past to come back to bite him in the form of drama between him and Towa, but it didn't happen. Towa didn't find out how involved he was in everything that happened to her family, and the bits she did find out she really wasn't bothered about.
Despite characters calling riku handsome he really just weird and ugly, I strongly dislike riku's appearance as they didn't put any thought into it from his awful hairstyle, face, and attire and in season 2 they changed his attire and eye color from green to lavender to turquoise.
Unlike kagura, riku had no reason to kill and/or betray kirinmaru. kagura was forced to serve naraku and couldn't really leave his side but before riku betrayed kirinmaru, he was free to do what he wanted to do and had a life of his own.
After he killed zero, riku cried but instantly got over her dead within seconds.
I don't understand why the creators of yashahime made riku sickly in love with towa as he knew about her before she was born but I guess that they wanted create a romance for the main character just like Inuyasha and kagome, a pairing I strongly hate.
I really wished they kept riku dead and somehow brought back kirinmaru.
8. Rion
For most of rion's appearances that she's cruel and bitter at kirinmaru and wants to stop him, wants to redeem zero, and wants to die.
rion wants kirinmaru to kill but wants zero to live, even though zero wants to kill towa, setsuna, and moroha for revenge on toga.
Rion can't let go of her resentment towards her father for keeping her in a cocoon in Mount Musubi for 600 years. That resentment is preventing her from moving on to the afterlife. She's a disgruntled spirit - not an evil one. She thinks that she is the only one who can fix the situation with her father. Her situation is very similar to Kikyo's situation.
At episode 47, when towa, setsuna, and moroha, rion suddenly realizes that she still held affection for her father and wants him to stop fighting.
Instead of convincing kirinmaru to move on in life, rion decided that she wants him to die with her so they can join zero together.
rion knows how to fight as we see her and riku fight kirinmaru but she doesn't fight back when it came to sakasa, the hanyo that killed her, and she had the flute sword. But they had towa sacrifice her body to rion so she can face her fears before she dies.
The only thing I don't like about rion's design is her hairstyle and the length of it.
9. Zero
In season 1, she looked more like she was the big bad of the series than Kirinmaru, who didn't even act like the villain.
Zero possessed much more of a threat to our main characters, as she is responsible for the forest fire that separated Towa and Setsuna and indirectly separated Moroha from Inuyasha and kagome. She's done various other things, blackmailing Sesshomaru by cursing Rin. She feels very much that she had the same level of connection that she had that the same connection Naraku did with Inuyasha.
zero's back story as well seemed uninteresting and confusing, having feelings towards Toga, and when he dies her love for him drives her to kill his descendants. She could have become more interesting as the series progressed. If the rainbow pearls sealed away her emotions, then why is zero taking revenge on toga's descendants and got angry at sesshomaru's mother.
But that was not the case, as when season 2 aired, is when Zero started to run down downhill by gathering the rainbow pearls, for revenge, kidnapping towa, and basically holding rin's life hostage, and it all ends in episodes 36 and 37.
To start with, Setsuna learns from Rin that she must save Zero to stop the curse from killing her. Really wished we knew that before. Thanks, Rin, which leads into the next episode.
At this point, Zero has been emotionally torturing Towa for the entire night by reminding her of her sadness and suffering, and is pretty much trying to get Towa angry enough so that she can kill her, and in doing so kill Rin. She's almost successful when Setsuna shows up, shows Towa the dream butterfly, and suddenly Towa loses all the anger she has towards zero in a matter of seconds.
towa then thanks zero for what she's done and it is really annoying. zero prepares to kill herself and Setsuna cuts the thread of fate tying Zero to Toga and she removes the curse from Rin and commits suicide by Riku as she tells kirinmaru that he's also going to die.
All of these in a matter of minutes, they make Zero, this threatening and uninteresting villain and rendered her more pathetic. They had to give her a redemption arc when she's been the most villainous character in this sequel. Kirinmaru felt more like an obstacle the same way Koga was in Inuyasha. But this, this was so dumb, and when I was watching episode 36 and heard what Rin said, I knew what this was leading into but it was so much worse when Towa thanked her for it. She really didn't need to thank the person who separated her from her twin sister and tried multiple times to kill her, sister, and rin because it's just wrong.
The creators of yashahime couldn't even give zero an actual conclusion that fitted with her character, and she's forgiven so easily. You didn't see Inuyasha thanking Naraku for setting him and Kikyo against each other and killing Kikyo, Sango thanking naraku for killing her village and controlling her kohaku, and miroku thanking naraku for cursing his bloodline. Could you imagine how messed up that would have been?
I also don't like her character design and hairstyle as just like other characters they didn't put any thought into it.
10. Death
It was cringe and lazy.
After kirinmaru loses to sesshomaru, he tells sesshomaru to kill him, gets sent to the grim butterfly, weakly watches rion get tormented by osamu kirin then reconciled, apologizes to towa, setsuna, and moroha before setsuna cuts his and rion thread of fate, and get suck into the amatsumikaboshi then rion told him that they will join zero before they fly away.
11. Appearance
There's something's I love about kirinmaru's appearance and there's also what I hate about his appearance, one of the things I love is his shirt and I hate his armor but we all know with other characters they didn't put any thought into the designs. I really dislike his hair and the style of it.

Alpha likes to play with their hair — Inuyasha Omegas
Tumblr media
Notes: I like men with long hair, hehe. Anyway, Inuyasha is by far my favorite anime, so prepare for a lot of content about it and also content about httyd, cause I need more of these.
Warnings: might contain spoilers, probably has grammar errors
- Inuyasha:
»» He is a tsundere, so it doesn't matter how long into the relationship you're, he will still deny he likes it.
»» But at the same time, he won't stop you either, unless you decide to tease or make any comment about it. So if you want to play with his hair for as long as your arms let you, then better not talk about it.
»» He will like it even more if you brush his hair either before or after sleep, might even fall asleep while sitting with how much relaxing is for him. Just be careful with his ears, they're sensitive, but not in a sexual way, in more of you're either making them hurt with so much rubbing or the fact he can feel and hear everything you're doing, and might get overwhelming.
»» Now, the only hairstyle he would tolerate is a ponytail and nothing more. I feel like he would let you do it the first time, but he might get teased either by Miroku or Shippo, and since then you're only allowed to do a ponytail.
- Sesshomaru:
»» Sesshomaru does not care about it, as long as you're not interrupting him from doing tasks like hunting, fighting, or whatever else he feels like doing at the moment.
»» It would be best to play with his hair before bed or when he is just relaxing doing nothing at the time. Now, he does take really good care and takes great pride in his hair, even if he doesn't say so, so don't just mess with it and get it tangled or ugly (somehow).
»» Out of everyone on this list, he is the one that likes hairstyles the most, he might even get ornaments for you to decorate his hair with. Also as long as the hairstyle doesn't inconvenience him with tasks and fighting.
»» Sesshomaru also has a liking to shiny things, so get him some silver or golden ornaments and he will keep them forever. If the hairstyle you did on him gets unmade by someone who is not you or Rin, then consider that person dead, principally if they broke one of the ornaments you gave to him.
- Tōga:
»» He is very happy whenever you show him affection, and he doesn't have any issues at showing or even saying he likes it.
»» He loves it principally when he gets home after a hard day, he will have you both taking a bath together and you have to wash his hair, you have to is a rule, doesn't matter how long it takes.
»» Always falls asleep when you play with his hair, so be sure to do it when that's not a problem, also cause he has the deepest sleep to ever exist, I mean the world is ending and he is still asleep.
»» About hairstyles, I think he wouldn't mind as long as it is a day off and he won't go out. Because let's be honest, this guy loves fighting, he probably will get in a fight when he goes out, either on purpose or not, and will get the hair undone unless is a simple variation of a ponytail, and he will be very upset that his hair is undone.
- Kōga:
»» Only lets you do it when you're in private, not a single soul besides you two can ever dream about this happening, he has to keep his image of the strongest of the pack and whatnot.
»» And because of that is difficult to make hairstyles on him, also the majority of them will get messed up by the speed he runs, so there is no point to do it if he won't spend most of the day inside.
»» But he will let you put certain ornaments on his head, now nothing that calls too much attention or is fragile, cause he won't accept those. The ones he would like the most are those that can be put on the band on his head.
»» Now, the only day he would let you do a hairstyle and he goes out, is on the day you two get married, or whatever ceremony they do to make a couple oficial (besides mating). And if anyone comments on it he will rub in their faces that he is getting married and they aren't.
- Bankotsu:
»» Man has a braid 24/7, his hair is begging for something different, also I don't think he cares much about his hair. He only puts it in a braid cause that way it doesn't get in the way of him doing chores or fighting.
»» If it wasn't for his "siblings" he would have cut it a long time ago, and probably with something that was not meant to cut hair, so it would look ridiculous.
»» Bankotsu is fighting to the death almost all the time, so if you do a hairstyle different than his usual, make sure it doesn't have a way of being undone or messing up his moves, cause this could cost his life.
»» He doesn't care, so he will walk around with the silliest hair and don't even acknowledge it. Jakotsu will see it and will care and make him or you undo it and make a proper hairstyle, if you do make an actual hairstyle and look good, maybe Jakotsu will ask for you to do it to their hair later.
- Naraku:
»» Naraku is another one that does not care about you playing with his hair or not, as long as it doesn't happen in front of his enemies somehow.
»» He might even let you do hairstyles, considering you won't try to make him look silly or make "children's hairstyles" on him, if you do make these, he will either take it off right away or stop you midway and don't let you touch his hair for a long time.
»» He likes displaying power and riches, so if you make a hairstyle that shows that off, with or without ornaments, it doesn't matter, as long as he looks handsome and powerful he will like it.
(This next paragraph will contain spoilers)
»» Now for his clones/incarnations, they will all be very much fans of you playing and doing styles on their hair, depending on the incarnation they won't let you know, but I do think that they have the same feelings for you that Naraku does, but they cannot "control" it as much as he can.

Hi Fawn! Do you have any inukag fics that you have enjoyed reading recently and that you would recommend? :)
Hello sunsetskys, dear! Thank you so much for the ask!
Here is a list of a dozen InuKag stories that I've read in the past few months that have really captured my attention. Fair warning; this list runs a little bit on the angsty side, because that's where my heart does lie (I'm a sucker for a good dark and angsty story), but I tried to give you a little bit of fluff to make up for it!
It's a long list, so it's below the cut, but I hope you find some of these as enjoyable as I have!
Tumblr media
The Art of Falling in Tandem (E; ongoing) by @shikonstar
After several years away, Kagome believes she is over Inuyasha and is finally ready to accept him as just a friend. And what could be the best way to prove this? Moving in with him, of course! She can handle it, right? The close contact. The intensity of his eyes. The shirtless.....well. She might have overestimated herself.
B-Side (T; complete) by hakomorebi (Ao3)/@serial-doubters-club
Inuyasha is a photographer assigned to cover a local music festival. When one of the performers sings a song written by his mother, a song only the two of them could possibly know, his world is turned upside down. Inuyasha may have to come to terms with the fact that his mother kept a secret that she took to the grave.
The Closest Moment to Dawn (M; ongoing) by @classysassy9791
They named her Kagome after finding her injured and unconscious on the subway. Suffering from amnesia, she recuperates under the care of a semi-retired surgeon and a fresh young doctor. But when dark and violent flashes of her past come back to haunt her, Kagome begins to wonder if her past was worth remembering. Especially when a man she doesn't recognize quite literally lunges into her life, accusing her of murder.
Don’t Judge a Book By Its Cover (series; ratings differ) by @superpixie42
Kagome Higurashi wanted to be anywhere but at the grungy bus station at 6am with her screaming infant. But when the local delinquent turns out to be a total sweetheart, maybe things aren't as bad as they seem to be. The story of how one act of kindness deserves another, and how strangers became closer than family.
The Ghost of the Higurashi Shrine (M; ongoing) by @elkonigin
After helping her grandfather on a regular, run-of-the-mill-excorcism-turned-blessing (it's better if you just don't ask questions, well maybe you should, Kagome didn't and look at where it's gotten her so far), Kagome finds that things, well, weird things, are happening in her home and around the shrine, in addition to some other places that really just don't make sense. Kagome doesn't consider herself brilliant by any means, she's barely passing as it is, but she's pretty sure that this mess isn't normal.
Go Away, Dad! (M; complete) by @neutronstarchild
There are times when the difference between human and demon traditions is stark. And right now, with Tōga’s prouder-than-sin grin at his naked son and Izayoi’s abject horror at her idiot husband, Inuyasha can only hope that Kagome is the understanding type.
Haunted (M; complete) by @witchygirl99, @wolfcry77
“Why are you here?” Kagome whispers to him.
“Haunting you, I guess,” he replies.
“Will you stop?”
“Don’t know how.”
That gets him a sharp look. He can feel that dark gaze boring into him. “What do you mean?”
“Trust me, I don’t want to be here with you, either,” Inuyasha states, practically growling. “You think I want to be reminded of my—” Death. Of his death. “But wherever you go, I’m pulled there. No fucking idea as to why.”
Agent Kagome Higurashi kills Agent Inuyasha Taisho in action. Neither let go.
How Does Your Garden Grow? (M; ongoing) by @dawnrider
An Ingary-esque AU: Kagome, the newest generation of caretakers of the Higurashi House, finally starts to feel like her garden and business is thriving with the help of her friend Jinenji. Their routine is thrown off by the arrival of an injured visitor who does not want to be found…
How to Train Your Dog Demon (M; ongoing) by @anxietyaardvark
Izayoi is tired of Inuyasha's excuses. All he does is work; despite his protests, she knows he's lonely. She decides to get him a companion to get him out of the house, and when she finds a no-nonsense dog trainer with great reviews, ulterior motives take over.
Once Upon a New Moon’s Nonsense (T; complete) by @mrfeenysmustache
A lot has changed over the centuries, and where once his kind was hunted, now they’re just… tolerated.
And well, Inuyasha is lonely.
For one night a month, Inuyasha gets to be wholly human instead of half, and he takes full advantage, lining up dates weeks in advance in the hopes of finding someone sweet and accepting who will potentially love him Hanyo heritage and all, and he has the perfect spot for wooing- a local restaurant with the comfiest atmosphere, cheapest drinks, best food, and cutest waitress.
But that’s NOT why he goes.
It’s not.
It is.
Sense and Sensibility, an Inuyasha Retelling (T; ongoing) by @kalcia, @ruddcatha
When their father dies, the Higurashi sisters Sango and Kagome suddenly find their fortunes changed overnight. The sisters begin to find their own paths, as one learns to step away from the practical to learn to dream with the help of the dashing Miroku, and the other sees the importance of stability in a world of fancy with the steadfast Inuyasha. An adaptation of the Jane Austen Novel Sense and Sensibility.
Willow (E; ongoing) by @lavendertwilight89
Kagome had been planning to move to the States for years and when she graduated and got a job offer in LA, she hopped on a plane and was reunited with her best friend Inuyasha. What they hadn't realized was the growing concern over COVID-19 and the eventual shut down and mandatory quarantine of the world could ruin Kagome's plans. When Inuyasha comes up with a plan to keep her in the country, will she accept?

Izayoi
Izayoi will never regret it. When his little ears wiggle and his mouth curls so naturally into a smile. When he snuggles into her at night because his love is in his touch. Tōga is gone and she is ruined, but she has Inuyasha, and to her, that is absolutely everything.

Inuyasha Bingo Bonanza 2022
happy november lovelies! 💕 So excited for the many things coming this month
Tōtōsai’s Craft
read on ao3
“Thank you all for gathering for the special occasion as we share in the happiness of Inuyasha and Kagome….” The old priestess announced with a grin, Tōtōsai placing Myōga on his left shoulder so the flea could see better. Giving the clearing a solid observation, he hummed his approval.
The happy couple held hands, both the hanyō and miko clothed in traditional human wedding attire while the ones they considered family surrounded them as they began their vows in front of the Goshinboku. To their left, clutching three tiny children, were the monk and taijiya with the tiny fox kit at their feet.
To the right of the tree, much to his surprise, was Sesshōmaru and his little following, the human girl and the imp. If anyone were to glance at the daiyōukai, they would think he was bored, but if you knew the demon, you could see the faintest hints of a smile on his lips and a flash of sincerity in his eyes. Seems as if the pups are getting along well these days. Though, I suppose that has something to do with the defeat of that awful spider hanyō.
“Master Tōtōsai,” Myōga whispered, “I never thought this day would come, especially between the two brothers. The Inu no Taishō’s final wishes are coming true.”
He hummed his approval. As the gray haired human continued to speak, his mind filled with the memory of his first meeting with Tōga, Lord of the West, centuries ago.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hammer swinging down, the blade morphing to his will, Tōtōsai almost missed the faint footsteps coming to stop behind him. He paused for a second, the stranger’s non-threatening, but powerful aura washing over him.
“Go away, I don’t have time for whatever ya need.” He grumbled, raising his hammer once more.
“Not even for the Lord of the West?” A deep voice chuckled. Sighing, he lowered his arm, deciding it time for a break anyways. He loved what he did, his particular craft of weapons were known all over the countryside, even far enough to the west it seemed, but sometimes this cave was just too damn hot. Turning around, he beckoned the Lord closer, peering at him in the cave’s light.
“Tōtōsai, I presume?” The inu daiyōukai smiled, his fangs gleaming.
“Yah, what do ya need?” He wiped the sweat from his brow, taking in his appearance. While Tōtōsai wore a simple forest green and black striped kimono, this demon wore a white kimono and hakama, a hadagi undershirt, a spiked rim attached to the upper section of his black breastplate with a "lotus petal" fauld that possess a grayish color trim, a long flowing sash with details, and armored boots that contains black, all with the addition of an eastern land’s influence.
He also wore black and light grayish purple armored gauntlets, a layered spiked pauldron on each shoulder, and a parted pelt that extends from both shoulders and trails behind him as he walks; representing the two streaks of fur running down the back of his yōkai form.
Tōga appeared as a tall and slender man. He had tan skin, slanted golden eyes with slit pupils, and long white hair that was tied up into a very high ponytail by a dark blue ribbon with short wavy bangs. Like other full-blooded yōkai, he has pointed ears as well as fangs and claws. He also had wide, jagged violet stripes on the cheeks, a magenta stripe on each eyelid, and black eyebrows.
Tōtōsai knew who he was, the Lord of the Western Lands, the Great Dog General, as many called him the Inu no Taisho, had made his way to Tōtōsai’s cave. He had heard of his strength and now, feeling his impressive demonic aura, he knew that whatever weapon this demon requested would become the most perfect thing he would ever create.
However, Tōtōsai didn’t give out swords just because someone asked, he would determine if the individual were even capable of handling such a thing, if somehow the person was planning on using it to destroy innocents, then he would send them on their way, empty handed.
“I have heard of your skills, of how you are able to infuse weapons with yōkai to defeat one’s foes.”
“Let me guess, you need me to create a sword so you can become even more powerful than you already are, to defeat some distant enemy that is coming to steal your wife or something like that?”
At his question, Tōga bursted into laughter, slapping his hand on Tōtōsai’s back so hard, he had to refrain from grunting. Damn, he is strong. Blinking slowly, he waited for the man to stop, unsure of what exactly was so funny. Maybe I’m getting senile.
“Close, but not really. I’m already strong, I just need a weapon that can harness the abilities and power from the one it’s slain.”
“If you’re so capable already, why do you need it?” He crossed his arms, trying to decipher this man’s intentions. The smile fell from his face and Tōga settled himself on a nearby stone, features passive as he explained.
“I am to create an heir and my oh-so-wise council suggests soon.” He waved his hand nonchalantly and Tōtōsai wondered if this had anything to do with his request, but stood there silently, listening. “I know that once I do, many from all over will come and attempt to take their life and their mother’s solely for the fact that they will be my heir. I want to be able to protect them at all costs and hopefully one day, gift them the sword when they have someone to protect themselves.”
“Hmmmm, it’s a noble request and I don’t get many of those.” Tōtōsai rolled his eyes at the many times men had come barging in, demanding something that would obliterate everyone in its path, only for him to light the ground at their feet on fire. “It’s doable, but I will need something of yours that will make it even stronger.”
“Anything!” Tōga leapt up, the smile back on his face.
“I need….” He grinned, ideas flowing through his head on just what he could create with such a thing. “Your fang.”
“You have a deal.” When the demon lord held out his hand, he firmly grasped it as he pulled a pair of pliers from his kimono. “Now, open wide.”
It had taken him a full fortnight to create the damn blade, “Tessaiga” as Tōga would come to call it, the “Steel-Cleaving Fang” or “Sword of Destruction”. The sword, a rusty, battered katana in its everyday form, would transform into a blade with the Inu’s own yōkai. The sheath, made from Bokusenō’s wood, protected the sword, even creating a barrier for anyone who was not capable of wielding the blade.
Its main attack, the “wind scar” as many would come to call it later, could take out a hundred lives in one stroke. It was clearly an immensely powerful weapon, one that would serve its purpose, just as he had intended.
He had to admit, when Tōga stepped out from the cave, bringing his creation to life, Tōtōsai was pretty damn proud of himself. After that, word had spread exponentially and he was booming with business. It gave him the opportunity to deny someone even more if he felt that they were not worthy enough for such a weapon. He delighted in that many times.
Years later, he was visited again by Tōga when Sesshōmaru was still a young pup, asking to split his blade in two. Not quite understanding the situation, Tōtōsai simply searched for the answer himself. He had held the blade in his palms, Tessaiga’s energy guiding him through what happened, as if it had a mind of its own.
Tōga had defeated Shishinki and gained the technique Meido Zangetsuha, but it wasn’t something that fit, the skill dangerous. He spent another fortnight removing a part of Tessaiga’s blade to create the new, thinner blade. With this one, one could use the technique, slicing a hole into the underworld, while also being able to bring someone back from the dead.
He had suggested Tōga call it “Coffin Cheater”, but much to Tōtōsai’s dismay, the demon went for Tenseiga, the ‘Heavenly Rebirth Fang” or “Sword of Life”. When he had asked what he would do with it, he replied that he was unsure, but something so powerful shouldn’t be in just anyone’s hands and he would hold onto it.
It had been many years since his last encounter with the Lord of the West, Tōtōsai never receiving an answer directly, but heard rumors about him falling in love with a human hime and a new pup arriving soon.
After Tōga's death for his final battle with Izayoi's old guardsman, the samurai Takemaru of Setsuna, Tōtōsai came to the burned mansion where he saw Myōga crying in grief, and Saya, Sō’unga’s spirited sheath, joining him. He tells them that "crying won't bring the Great Dog Demon back from the grave." and asked Myōga if he disposed of the Tessaiga according to his will, and Myōga answered that he did, he placed the Tessaiga in his master's domains located in the Border of the Afterlife and the path to it within the Black Pearl.
He knew Sesshōmaru would come hunting for Tessaiga, so he placed it in a place that would not easily be found, the daiyokai’s gravesite. Then Tōtōsai gave the Tenseiga to their old friend Bokusenō that it's for Sesshōmaru, as Myōga asked that he didn't gave it to him all by himself, he answered "If I lived so dangerously, I'd never have made it to this ripe old age."
It left one problem: Sō'unga. Saya suggested to Tōtōsai to give Sō'unga to Sesshōmaru, but Tōtōsai refused that he's already upset with them as it is, over being bequeathed Tenseiga, and Myōga thinks that they can't give it Inuyasha, because he's just a baby. Saya suggested he'd hold the sword off quietly for 700 years, and tells them to place him along with the sword into the Bone-Eater's Well in the land of Musashi.
As he headed back to his castle, hearing the soft cry of a new born babe in the distance, Tōtōsai wondered if he could ever create such a weapon ever again, putting his unique craft aside, in hopes that one day, the two sons of the great Inu no Taishō would come together.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
It only took a couple hundred years, but it seems they have come together, more or less. Sesshōmaru even has a blade of his own now, with a new arm to go with. As much as he wished he could claim that he made Bakusaiga, the sword came from the daiyōukai’s own demonic power and was truly his own, surpassing his father’s power. The baka only had to give up on his obsession with Tessaiga. Even so, Tōga would be proud of how far the two have come. Inuyasha was able to wield the Tessaiga with his own yōkai intertwined, passing his father’s strength as well. Myōga was correct, the Inu no Taishō’s final wishes are coming true.
Glancing at the fangs that hung on each warrior’s hip, he felt their aura pulse out, as if greeting an old friend. Smiling softly, he was still proud of his handiwork, even if he may never find one to create such a beauty ever again.
“Oi, ya old geezer.” A hard tap on his forehead had Tōtōsai glaring at the newly wedded hanyō, “Ceremony’s done and ya fell asleep.” Insolent pup. Blinking, he tilted his head to the side, his trademark blank stare forming.
“Was that what this was?” He questioned, playing dumb.
“Forgetting things at your age, huh?” Inuyasha snickered.
“Must you insult every elder of yours, little brother?” Sesshōmaru sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Come Rin, it is time to head to the priestess’s hut.”
A bubbly giggle from his right had Tōtōsai glancing to see Kagome smiling at him with bright, blue eyes. There were rumors of her pure soul, it seems they were right. Her aura brushed against his, lifting his heart in many ways as the group began to drift towards the human village for celebration. I wonder if I could craft something with her spiritual powers. It might just be time to dust off my tools.

MUSE
Name: Tōga (闘とう牙が, "Fighting Fang")
Title: Inu no Taishō || Inu no Daiyōkai
RESOURCE ~ InuYasha Wiki
HEADCANONS
Fallen General
My boy is retired. Please do not fight him. But if you must, please do your best and ensure he's heavily wounded. He is in dire need of purpose and if it means hunting you down for good sport and exercise, please bless this man that pleasure.
He rules neither land nor kin as this has been bestowed upon Sesshoumaru's mother and inferred equally among his sons if they wish. Tōga find solace wandering in the mortal realm while occasionally soaring the skies in peace.
He no longer has any fangs to spare and will heavily rely on his claws, a poison whip similar to Sesshoumaru, brute strength, agility, intelligence, and the domineering size of his youkai form.
Awareness Defined
I am yet to finish watching Yashahime as I find it a little off-canon and more of a fan-service-fic come to life. I will acknowledge and welcome anyone who would like to pull my muse into this timeline, but please be advised that I will stay true to my depiction of Tōga  in the movies and little knowledge of him the books.
Retired and resigned, my muse leans towards fluff as the name implies. Though he will remain stern at most, I am proud to assure you that he has the patience of a father and a grandfather altogether. He will love the honest shit out of you.
His untimely return is yet a mystery for both my muse and I. He recalls having died but not having reborn; he is neither living nor dead. Though he still possess sheer amount of power and skills, he has come to terms that his regeneration and healing has immensely declined. That said, please give gramps time to nap because he will nap a lot.
Company
As I intend to integrate my oc in the mix, Tōga may often be accompanied by a likened kin named KoKonoe as needed/upon request.
NOTES
Mun is of legal age to indulge in sin, but would prefer to keep this blog very fluff-friendly. I would prefer a fade to black for smutty themes, but if this is deemed necessary to partake in, I will happily oblige.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if I have neglected a response from you without a courtesy update from me, have ideas you'd like to discuss/share, or would just want to chat.
Papa is also very child-friendly. We welcome OCs and non-OCs alike.
Please tag me for reblogs and replies if possible.

I might be the only one who wants this - but I've been somewhat getting back into Inuyasha and quite honestly I really wouldn't mind a prequel show about Tōga, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's father. I've always been somewhat intrigued by Tōga, and I've always wondered just how did he become the person he was before he died. I mean, was he born with the compassion for humans or was he taught it? Did he have a somewhat similar experience like his son Sesshomaru did with Rin (and I'm talking about young! Rin from the og series not what-the-loving-heckity-heck was going on in yashahime) and it changed his views and stance on humans? Was he always that powerful? Born with it or did he train himself to be that strong? When did he first lose? How battles and fights did he lose? What other enemies did he face? What other friends did he make? How did he manage to get his hands on Sō'unga? How did he meet Sesshomaru's mother? Did he help raise Sesshomaru at least partly? Again I'm probably the only person who wants a prequel series and it's never going to happen - but I'd honestly be interested in learning a bit more about Tōga, the man, the myth, the legend, and the father of my two biggest crushes as a young girl.
